Sushi Gone Wild

Happened to be in the area , was craving sushi with my husband and his son. We looked online and my husband randomly chose this sushi, so happy with his decision. Cozy environment, great prices, and best of all the waitress was so kind. Such an amazing experience and flavor. Will definitely drive from the San Fernando valley just to come here!

My go to place for sushi. Not expensive at all, great service and delicious, fresh food. Their exclusive rolls are creative and tasty. The fish is always fresh and well prepared. My only complaint is that it's a little small, so getting there at the right time is important so you don't have to wait for a long time, but even then that's not so much of an issue.

Loved the sushi. Huge rolls. Great atmosphere. Had a line out the door so you know it was good. It's also nice because we were able to bring our own wine for a small corkage fee.

Such great selections of quality, fresh seafood. This was our first time and Mr. Kim came by offered recommendations, showed us cuts and samples of sashimi and created a great experience. We'll be back again very soon. The lunch Happy Hour menu has a great variety and selection.

Really delicious sushi! Everytime I go, the staff are super friendly. The sushi is made quickly and the fish taste fresh, and there is plenty of seating. The owner, I believe his name is mr. Kim, greeted us and was extremely nice. Their spicy tuna was very good along with their California roll. They have a large variety of rolls that it was almost overwhelming, but in the best way possible.

This is one of our must-go restaurants in Torrance and hands down favorite sushi. Service is fantastic and personable (I highly recommend sitting at the bar!). I love the veggie and veggie tempura rolls, and my boyfriend loves... EVERYTHING. "Thank you, see you tomorrow!" (If you've been, you'll get this. If not, what are you waiting for!?)

The sushi was amazing! I wish I found this place sooner and had time to come back. I had the first one of the roll selections, crunchy something, and it added good texture and taste to the roll. The warm saki helped seal the deal! Relaxing and delicious lunch.

I would give it more stars but I can't. Mr. Kim always has the best freshest fish in town. I love the Baked Green Mussels and the Dynamite. Tuna, Yellow Tail, Unagi, try the Angela or Salmon Skin hand rolls. Happy Hour is busy and it's a small place so come early. "See you tomorrow!"

I love this place. Great sushi. Love the spicy tuna roll and the David roll. The cucumber salad is a great complement to the rolls. The Udon soup is perfect for a rainy day or cool evening. Always great service.

I return time and time again to sushi gone wild for the top tier service and beautifully crafted rolls. Would recommend to anyone looking for a sushi date night or even just a sake and beer in a warming environment.

We go here for lunch sometimes, right after they open at 11:30, and since we're usually the first customers, everything comes out really quickly. Expect to share rolls because they put 4 on a giant plate, which I love. Haven't had a bad one yet, from simple stuff like Rainbow, to complex signatures like the Salmon Gone Wild, all are amazing and come packed with ingredients and flavor. Oh, and the appetizer Heart Attack is definitely worth it: it's basically a tempura jalapeño popper with Spicy Tuna in addition to the cream cheese.

I think I found my new go to place for sushi. Tucked away in a nice little plaza. Plenty of free parking. Has a small cozy covered outdoor patio with heating. There's indoor seating as well. Service is very friendly. The food is very tasty and fresh. Lots of options. Prices are very reasonable. Will be returning!

We love Sushi Gone Wild.. it has a great lively atmosphere, fast friendly service, and excellent quality sushi at a very reasonable price. The happy hour is great you get extra pc of sushi for free. The dining room is pretty small so it can be a little hard to get a table at peak times and there is also an outdoor patio. They have some good appetizers and hot dishes in addition to traditional and creative original rolls and creations. The combination of flavors is unbelievable. The colors and playing are beautiful. You can see it in the pictures. Its the roll with all the colors. TRY IT! There's a nice outside dining area too. This place is so cozy. It's a small intimate place with friendly service. I recommend going from 4-6:30 so you can take advantage of their "happy hour" specials. I personally get the fried dumplings. They give you complimentary edamame which is always nice. You get your food in a very timely manner. I highly recommend this place, you'll enjoy it!

The sushi was good and everyone was very friendly. The place is super small though. So small that you have no choice but to hear everyone else's conversation. It seemed to me like there were a lot of people that regularly go there when I ate here. And when the older guys that were sitting at the bar started getting loud and tipsy there is not much you can do. My other complaint was the speed of service. Again, tiny place so I don't really think we should be waiting 10-15 minutes after being seated to place our order. I enjoyed the food so I do think we will try it again. Will update my review if I have a better experience next time.

Love this place. Have loved it for a very long time. Lately, the service has been consistently slow. They can’t seem to get back to their normal speed. Will still order there, but have to keep in mind that it will take a long time.

We went here other day because it's only 4.7star sushi restaurant in this area. We were excited for out food. Turned out the Miso soup was really salty. The waiter messed up our orders. Still not the worst part. The teriyaki sauce supposed to be sweet but no. It was an old sauce. It has funny sour taste. Right after that few hours later we both got sick from their food. Such a disappointment. I would never believe those fake comments 5 stars again.

Fish wasn’t great. Rice wasn’t seasoned correctly and nigiri was falling apart. Other than that the place was solid. Amazing salad dressing.
