I have been coming to Lynn's restaurant for years, since before Lynn sold the restaurant to her niece Ding. The food is fabulous! I usually have somewhat of a complicated order due to a few food allergies/special dietary restrictions and all necessary modifications were made to menu items and the staff was welcoming and friendly. I truly love coming to Lynn's Thai Restaurant any time I'm in the neighborhood, and will always recommend it to my friends, family, coworkers, etc.
In love with their tofu pumpkin curry and their basil eggplant dish! I’m vegan and love how flavorful their food is. I’ve been going here for years with my husband and appreciate how much love Lynn, her husband, and the staff put into their food. ❤️
This isn't just a great Thai restaurant, this is a great restaurant all the way around. The staff are attentive, the food is fantastic, the atmosphere is pleasant, the bathroom is clean, and the owners work there and make sure that customers are all happy. This is an excellent, excellent place to go for any occasion. It is the first place that I and my wife think of for any special occasion, even though the prices are merely average for a restaurant. Enjoy!
I love the food & service here. We order out at least once a month as a treat & dine in just about every other month. I've enjoyed a variety of options on the menu & everything has been delicious. Including the satay! I grew up in southeast Asia, I lived in the Philippines & visited Thailand on multiple occasions ... the satay is legit & checks out. We always get the tom ka & chicken curry, coz we are pretty basic people with not a lot of money; if I had a ton of money I'd still go here & just order a lot more food!
There is always an abundance of fresh veggies as well as a good variety of them. I never feel like they have skimped on anything- we have ordered takeout as well as eaten in the restaurant and it is always a fabulous experience. This is by far and away our favorite Thai.
All-Time INCREDIBLE GREEN CURRY to eat in or take out. GENEROUS PORTIONS @ lunch for $8.95 including delctable sides. Very friendly and gracious servers, nice roomy atmosphere. Best Green Curry I've ever tasted! (I drive up from Marin County for it!!!)
Super good food at a great price. The staff were lovely and very welcoming.
IMHO, not only the best Thai restaurant in Sonoma County, but the best restaurant (!) in Sonoma County. Every item on the menu is a 5-star delight. This place deserves to be far more well known than it is. A don't miss meal!
Excellent lunch specials. Great service. Delicious meal. Definitely going back!
Excellent food! We had delicious red and Panang curries here as well as pad see ew. The flavors were wonderful and the vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. A wonderful place to stop!
Excellent food at a reasonable price! Very friendly staff. We've found our place to get our weekly Thai food fix. Thanks, Lynn's Thai Restaurant! You have found a couple of loyal customers!
quiet nice ambience delicious food attentive service
Best curry & chicken satay in town! Staff is very friendly.
We've been coming to Lynn's about once to twice a month (usually as a four some) for several years, and we love it. We've enjoyed almost everything we've tried on the menu; we love to order some old favorites alongside something new (or at least something we haven't had for a while). Love the salads (ginger, mango, papaya etc), and the curries. Really recommend the scallop curry. The service has generally been good (a bit slow every now and then, but probably for a reason and easy to overlook). Our favorite restaurant in Rohnert Park.
This is my second time visiting Lynn's Thai. Time for a review. I live 3 hours away otherwise I would be here way more often. This Thai food is amazing! They're very accommodating and will vear off the menu. They made steamed potstickers instead of fried which are to die for! I also ordered noodles with peanut sauce and chicken which is not on the menu and is awesome! All the food is super fresh!!! Each time I was there the owner came out to make sure our food was good. She is super sweet! I would highly recommend this place and I can't wait to return!!!!! I go to several Thai food restaurants so I definitely know my Thai food.
I had such a great experience at Lynn’s Thai Restaurant! 🥢✨ The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic Thai flavors and perfectly balanced spice. We tried the Pad Thai and Thai fried rice with chicken, Drunken Noodles and shrimp roll (forgot to take pictures of the food🤦🏻♀️)all were packed with flavor and freshness. The portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade with love. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made it even better. Definitely one of the best Thai spots in town — can’t wait to come back and try more dishes! 🍛💛
The minced chicken and prawns stuffed eggplant with asparagus and when I tell you delicious I mean it. Baby orgasms in my mouth. Perfect blend of Savory and sweet.
First time at Lynn’s Thai Restaurant. We had dinner at the restaurant and got some togo. We had chicken satay, shrimp tomyum soup, Thai iced tea and sticky rice with mango and brought home pineapple fried rice and salmon chuchee curry. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. The service was also very nice and friendly. We’ll be back to Lynn’s Thai again!

Small and unassuming location, but do not be deceived. The food is amazing in both taste and portion size. Wonderful owners give great service. Be sure to save room for the coconut ice cream they bring for dessert! It helps put out the fire in your mouth if you order your entree medium or hot. 😊
I went here with 3 friends and we all had a wonderful time. The waiter was friendly and pumped. Our appetizers were delicious and meals were also amazing! The food was very fresh and hot out of the kitchen. I can't wait to go back and enjoy my meal again! I had the drunken noodles and they were delicious and filling. My friend sitting next to me had them as well but asked to have them with duck, which was not on the menu, and they not only delivered but he truly enjoyed his meal. It's great to find a place that is willing to do things off of the menu and not charge you a bunch of extra money for the change I forgot to take pictures of my meal but will do so next time
This is quite possibly the best Thai restaurant that I have ever been to. I'm not saying that lightly, either. This was where I ate at regularly until 10 years ago when I had to move out of state. It was also the first place I ate at upon moving back to the area. The food is just that good! The pad thai is so good that Taylor Swift is reportedly making her next album dedicated to the restaurant. The freshly made lemonade is enough to bring the most stoic of lumberjacks into a fit of joyful tears. Children create songs (complete with dance moves, obviously) about the delicious coconut ice cream served at the end of their meals. The staff is friendly, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the portions are large. Lynn's Thai restaurant is a place of magic and wonder. I will definitely be coming back.
They were awesome! Stopped here on the way up to Bodega Bay and can say I can’t wait til I’m in the area again. The peanut sauce is a must (always a personal fav) and hit just right with all the drunken noodles, pad thai, chicken satay, masuman, I can’t even remember everything but we ordered about 10 things for 10 people and all of them were a hit. All tofu and all delicious!!
Authentic Thai food served promptly by actual Thai people. The chef was Thai and trained in Bangkok. Best Thai restaurant in the area according to a Thai citizen I dined with. Not a fancy interior. Large portions. Waiter and waitress were fluent in Thai and English.
Lynn's Thai is one of my favorite restaurants and has been a go-to place for us for years on weeknights when we don't feel like cooking. I love the curries, the basil stir fry, and the cashew stir fry. Honorable mention goes to the pineapple fried rice. They also have a lot of vegetarian options! This place has consistently good, authentic Thai food, and I highly recommend it!
This is my favorite local Thai food spot for Cotati. Everything is so tasty and the prices are great for how much food you get. Perfect for take out.
Did it again. Its been over ten years that we have been enjoying Lynn's delicious flavors and today was no different. We moved away and every time we return to the area we plan a meal (or two) at Lynns. The depth of flavors on all the curry dishes are amazing. We recommend them all and a second favorite is their pineapple fried rice. Find a reason to enjoy their house made peanut sauce. The surroundings are super quaint, clean and so warm with Lynn. Thanks Lynn.
Love the yellow curry with pumpkin, with duck roll for appetizer. Thai ice tea is awesome, the owner is very accommodating and friendly . Pad Thai and other dishes are excellent. I just always order my favorite and of course brown rice.
I had the minced chicken and prawn stuffed Japanese eggplant based on another review and it was delicious! The rolls were good too and the mango and sticky rice was the best. Plus the most expensive entree was $16.95. Crazy. We'll be back!
My first sip of the lemonade sold me, then I took a bite of the curry. My mouth exploded with so much flavor, I almost cried. There is no English word that fully expresses how wonderful the taste, atmosphere, and service was. It was a triple the bliss in every way. Five stars all around.

Lynn’s Thai was absolutely delicious, and the best masaman curry we have had in the Santa Rosa area. The presentation of the pad Thai was beautiful, and it tasted great as well. I really don’t like having to pay 2.00 per each small serving of rice to go with the curry, but other than that, we loved Lynn’s. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. They played peekaboo with my toddler, and brought us some complementary cherries after our meal.
You go here if you want freshness and flavorssss. First time here, went well with food, friendly laid back kind of service. Love the explosive flavors and the spiciness. Had the calamari salad. Boy! was that lovely and sour and salty and spiiicy! It hurt so wicked good. The other was Panang. Another flavorful curry, highly recommended. The ambience was clean and the walls decorated with cool art works, and each table had cute little cactus. However, the dark curtains were not as cheerful. Friendly Suggestions: rice (brown or white or sticky) is not supposed to be mushy texture, so tone down the water content and make it al dente, then you own me. Can we have more of other veggies in curries, aside from bell peppers and/or carrots? Actually, that goes with any dishes in the Thai menus everywhere, please and thank you. Many Thai restaurants, in my experience, rely too much on those two veggies. Just saying. In any rate, "we'll be back" and try something else. Keep up the good work.:)
WATCH OUT! Lynn overcharges...she added $4 for rice I didn't order! Pad Thai & Pumpkin Curry were very good.
This local gem has great portions for price. I love the Papaya salad, and my go-to dish pad thai. Food is ready very fast, service is very friendly. I've been going here fairly often for a few years now, I'm glad it's hanging in there as I want to try their other menu items.
Solid Thai food. I really enjoyed the pumpkin curry. If I had to pick one thing for improvement, based on personal taste, is the peanut sauce needs more oomph. Quiet Thursday evening as we were the only ones dining in. Take out orders were steady.
Great place to begin with Thai food. All are tasty and does not cost an arm and a leg
Food was good. Especially Coconut Chicken Soup Tom Young.. ( idk if that's what they called it). The presentation was nice too of the plating.

Comfortable restaurant with an extensive menu. Owner server does not have a pleasant demeanor and doesn't smile much, but food is cooked fast and portions are generous. Food is good, but nothing special. Some gluten free options available.
Two of us had a special of shrimp with mango sauce that was delicious. A lemon grass soup had no lemon grass and was not spicy. Wish the wine list was more extensive. We love reisling with our Thai food.
The service was slow. We were a party of six. Four meals came out quickly and the other two never came. We canceled after everyone finished eating. Sad experience since the food was good.
The food was fairly bland and not really upto the spice level of most Thai food. Drunken noodles, a spicy dish was very mildly spicy. We also ordered a basil soup, which was good, pad see ew which I didn't really like, green curry, which was sweet instead of slightly spicy. The service was decent. The waitress got one of our items wrong, but she accepted the mistake and changed the dish immediately. The atmosphere is comfortable and laid back with a low lit room. Overall, I won't recommend this place unless you're very hungry, and are kind of out of options, although you might appreciate it if you like mild food.
Very disappointing. Ordered Pad Thai with tofu. Received a box full of noodles, some veggies and about four small pieces of tofu. Bland at best. Photos on the website are beautiful, but what I got was below average.
The food was good nothing to write home about. Somehow Pad Thai and a salad was just shy of $40, no drinks. Customer service was completely absent.
Drunken noodles seemed to have no sauce and had no Thai basil, which they state is included in the dish. Not flavorful as a result.

Good food, bad vibes! The order was wrong and overcharged me by $100 (added a zero on the end) It pulled from my bank (debit), not refunded. I went back after 2 days, Lynn had terrible attitude put it all on me. No way to run a business! The food is not worth the bad experience
Skip this place. We ordered take out which was fine but it took twice as long as they said it would. But worse was the food. No taste, very bland and really oily. Will not go there.
NEVER GO HERE. I ordered for take out as a treat for my daughters. They love chicken satay and have had it many times from many locations. We opened our food to find way overcooked sticky clumpy rice. Clearly not old just way overcooked. The chicken satay appears to be steamed not grilled as it should be and is chewey with a bad aftertaste. My third item was pumpkin curry. It too lacked flavor. Sadly I called and let them know our food was not good to be told I can come in another day and get "free rice". The woman said she had the chicken satay for lunch so "it's fine". FYI it's 7:30 pm. Maybe they made it at lunch and are serving it this evening??? that is why it is chewey and has a bad after taste. She offered the reason both my daughters and myself did not like it is because maybe it's a different flavor then what we are used to. So disappointed. I will never order here again. I would've given them a second chance but after being offered free rice when I am not happy is not good customer service! Waist of money and to boot I have to cook my kids a new dinner they can eat!
The old lady was super rude when we showed up at 730 to order to go. We asked to look at a menu and then she was like we close in 25 mins (even though online says 9) after we ordered we waited out side for about 30 mins and then when in to check on our food and she told us it’ll be another 15 mins! Maybe she should of mentioned that it was going to take 45 mins to get our food! (We only ordered two things!) WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!
I love Thai food, I venture out and try new Thai restaurants regularly. This is the first time I have had Thai food that I consider barely edible. I had the pineapple fried rice. No complaints about service or restaurant but if you can't eat the food that is a solid 1 star to me.
