Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Troy, MI

I goto Cooper’s hawk at least twice a month, and have been doing so for a couple years now. Today, I had the most amazing dining experience thanks to Anthony and Jerry. For context, Anthony is an amazing server on the team who’s full of great dining recommendations, as well as a hospitable personality. Jerry, is one of the assistant (maybe general) managers of the establishment, who never fails to acknowledge me and make me feel seen when myself and fellow loved ones visit. I will continue to revisit the establishment for the amazing wine; and great cuisine from their scratch kitchen. Honorable mention to Tina as well, she was absolutely amazing for the wine tastings, and has since been promoted to management! This is a great place worth all of your time and funds, off the customer service alone; let alone the product.

I absolutely love Cooper’s Hawk, our server Jacob was an amazing person he made my birthday extremely memorable!! The food is always great and the drinks were delicious as always! Highly recommend and ask for Jacob!

I had the red wine braised short ribs...AMAZING! Our server was so attentive, never made us feel rushed. We also each had a wine flight and after dinner drinks. Everything was absolutely perfect!

ROBERT L. was the most attentive person in the establishment! The food was AWESOME ‼️ The Wine? AMAZING! The entire experience made it worth 100 return trips! Keep up the good work!

The was my first time ever coming to this restaurant and I will definitely be coming back! Our waiter Jacob S was amazing, he was funny and definitely made the experience enjoyable. We drinks were good as well, I had a typical mimosa. The wine was amazing as well, they have many options to choose from and the waiter also helped with choosing a good wine. The service was great, it didn’t take long for our food to come out and we had a pretty decent sized party. The atmosphere was great as well, it’s a very well decorated place and the ambiance was amazing. The food was great too, i loved everything I had here honestly. 10/10 recommend coming here!

I had a GREAT experience at the Troy location. I arrived a few hours early for the wine tasting experience (reservations are not accepted). It was EXCELLENT! We didn’t finish our last pour. They delivered it to our table. Reservations for dinning is recommended. Our waitress was super nice. Our food was really good. The cocktails were just okay. We had Coopers Hawk margaritas. The ambiance is really nice. I will be going back for WINE O'CLOCK HAPPY HOUR. M-Fri 3:00pm - 5:30pm

We went to Cooper's Hawk today for brunch. There were 7 of us. We enjoyed appetizers and entrees. Alex waited on us and did a great job. We're members of the Cooper's Hawk wine club.

Jacob was absolutely amazing, he made sure we were well taken care of. The Parmesan filet mignon medallions were so flavorful. Such a delightful experience.

Alex was incredible! I arrived with my parents and younger sister and had an amazing time. I also adore the Black man with the dreadlocks.

I cannot believe that I haven't reviewed this place yet. We are part of the Wine Club and it is absolutely great. Food is always amazing here and the Wine is beyond one the greatest brands I have ever had. I am telling you right now....join the club because it is beyond worth it. Come in, get a tasting, and sit and eat for lunch or dinner. There will be no disappoint at all. Staff is always the best by far as well.

We had an outstanding experience at Cooper’s Hawk Troy! From the moment we walked in, everything was top-notch — the atmosphere, the food, and especially the service. Our server, Lindsay, was phenomenal: attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcomed without ever being overbearing. She truly elevated our entire dining experience. We also want to give a huge shoutout to the manager, Kinga, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. It’s clear she takes pride in her team and the guest experience — her professionalism and kindness did not go unnoticed. Experiences like this are why we keep coming back. I had a fabulous time today at Cooper’s Hawk Troy! Tara was such an amazing waitress! She was so passionate about the menu and was able to explain every item on there! She was also very educated on the wine and put together a great blend for us. She made this such a great birthday experience that my entire party decided to become wine club members. If you ever decide to patronize Cooper’s Hawk Troy be wise and ask for Tara! You will thank me later.

I had a wonderful lunch here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I ordered the bruschetta, which was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. My server, Anthony, truly made the meal memorable. He was lovely, funny, incredibly attentive, and (bonus!) very easy on the eyes. He checked in at all the right moments and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. If you’re dining here, I highly recommend asking for him. Teressa, the manager, was also fantastic—warm, welcoming, and attentive, making a point to check on every table. You can really feel how well this place is run. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic experience at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, the wine selection was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. What really made our visit stand out, though, was the exceptional service. Best Customer service since the 90.’s. Our waiter Robert L. Will definitely get A 5 Star. He was very Knowledgeable about the menu and Hospitality was on point. I had a miss understanding with my meal and spoke to the manger (kinga) All I have to say is WOW WOW WOW she definitely in The right position at Cooper’s Hawk, her personality speaks value and how she cherish her customers. Monique was our waitress and she was 10/10, absolutely fantastic. She was so nice to us on our friends bday and went above and beyond! She is so knowledgeable and just very very kind! I live closer to the Clinton twp CH but I would come back here just for her!

My mom is a wine club member and we love coming here! We came on Feb. 1st 2026 and Robert E was our server which we loved him with his big sweet smile and great personality as well as his knowledge to recommend a wine that could suit our tastes combined. Food was amazing as always. My personal struggle is how loud it can get, but hey when there’s wine there are people having a good time!

If you want something seasonal, the Three Cheese & Italian Sausage Arancini is a current standout. • Entrees: You can’t go wrong with the Red Wine Braised Short Ribs—they are incredibly tender and served with "Mary’s Potatoes" (their signature whipped potatoes). I am a wine club member,, and I meet friends there often. I have been a member since they opened in 2020, I originally came to the wine but absolutely love all the food in the staff. I first met Kinga When I was doing a wine tasting and we had a great time and some great recommendations. She is now a manager and extremely attentive and always listening to her patrons for what they want. Back in approximately May 2024, one of their monthly special appetizers was a feta spread with olives. It was absolutely to die for. We came multiple times that month to have it and asked our server and managers to please share the word that this would be great on their menu or even a wine o’clock menu! Along with a cheeseboard appetizer that showed up on the menu and then quickly left would be a great idea to advertise our market with their wine, tastings or flights.

Michael P, was a very nice, attentive and professional server. He was very informative about the wines that I asked about. This was my first time here and I truly enjoyed everything I had overall. My dinner consist of the braised beef, strings onions, potatoes, and green beans. Delicious!!! I tried the flight and enjoyed all the wines. Three out of four I would purchase which were the Raspberry, blood orange, German wine. The dragon fruit was good but a little dry for me. Kinga the manager came over to ensure we were good with everything and explained the members program to me in which I signed up for! She was really nice. The staff, atmosphere, food and good tasting wines made me feel like I could visit again. It was my birthday and they made me feel special! I truly enjoyed myself and will be returning with my husband the next time. Thank you auntie Corisa for introducing me to this establishment on my birthday. I love you!🥰

Had an awesome experience at Cooper’s Hawk. The food was excellent from start to finish, but what really stood out was our server, Kiersten. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the night better without being overbearing. Everything came out perfectly timed and she was great with recommendations. You can tell she takes pride in what she does. Will definitely be back.

I took my girlfriend for a Valentines Dinner here and the experience was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived we were great with respect and professionalism, even though the place was packed. Our server "Rob", was informative, engaging and friendly. He made sure our food arrived hot and delicious. The Manager Kinga Dobrowolska-Hughey saw to it the our time in the restaurant was pleasant, comfortable and relaxing. She was genuine, professional and so so polite. The epitome style and sophistication but not stuffy. We were so comfortable we lost track of time and ended up being on site for almost 4 hours. Absolutely a 5 🌟experience!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Budget friendly with an upscale ecstatic. I've tried different selections each time I've come, this is my fourth time (I'm usually a person that sticks to what's familiar) and they DO NOT disappoint every time! Our waitress Deanna was absolutely thee BEST! Side note: if you want to do wine tasting get there an hour prior to reservation (if you have one) to give yourself time. From the valet, to the hostesses, waiters and waitresses keep up the amazing work. Oh and let me not forget the beautiful and welcoming manager Kinga. Thank you for always delivering a wonderful experience. It's a vibe, and you'll definitely enjoy every minute.

I love coming to CH Troy. My friend and I went to enjoy each other's company and we had a wonderful time. Ella was great at the Tasting room and was very helpful and informative. Johnathon was our server and he was sufficient and very kind. He made sure my salad with salmon came out.to my liking. Alex Cook made our day with his lovely personality. Thank you Tina and Kings for taking care of us as well. Thank you CH Troy for the wonderful servitude!!

We have been wine club members for 4 years. People who work here come and go. Today on Valentines Day 2026 we were fortunate to have Deanna as our server. 6 out of 5 stars. Food and drink, always a 6 out of 5. The managers always have a presence but Kinga showed me how much the experience of her customers means to her. Highly recommend the amazing experience that is Coopers Hawk Troy Michigan. Love being a Wine Club member too and all the benefits that come with it.

We had a wonderful birthday celebration at the Troy, Mi location on Saturday, February 21st. Our delightful server’s name was Shay, and she handled our party of 13 with excellence! She answered all of our menu questions, gave us info on how some entrees were prepared; and just ensured we enjoyed ourselves. Our orders came out hot and in a timely manner. Nothing was forgotten. Shay checked on us often to be sure we were satisfied and enjoying our meal. You can tell she enjoys what she does. I will be following up this review to make sure her manager sees this and knows what a gem they have at Cooper’s Hawk. I’m sure your other servers are nice, but we were very happy Shay was our server, and wanted to communicate that to her manager.

First time here. One of the best restaurants ever! Food, atmosphere and employees are amazing. Kinga helped us with our wine membership and Jasmine was one of the best servers. Will definitely come back and cannot wait to try the wines they picked out for our membership. Definitely recommend.

This is a favorite dining location, and it was our choice for Valentine's brunch! Usually the food is 5 star, but it was all still decent. However, the service is always top notch, and they didn't disappoint on Valentine's Day! To top that off, Kinga made everything seem perfect! She greeted us as we prepared to leave, and assisted me with a surprise gift! She was amazing!

Food was good. Wine was better. But service was top notch! Brian took us on a culinary cabaret from suggesting wine, appetizers, and entrees. The pairing he suggested went perfectly and by the time dessert was offered we were beyond satisfied. I would highly recommend this place and ask for Brian because he knows his stuff. We joined the wine club and basically got a free bottle already!

Had lunch here yesterday. I've only ever been here for wine, appetizers. Lunch was excellent. I had the Mahi sandwich with Asian slaw, and my friend got the Caesar Salad. We both loved our meals. And Robert, our server, was wonderful. He made us feel welcome and was attentive without being overbearing. I would definitely go back.

This was are first time dining at Cooper Hawk, the server Char was awesome. My sister really enjoyed the crab and lobster bisque. My prime rib sliders and almond sparkling wine were good. Its was a little too noisy for us, it was hard to have a conversation. Overall I will get it a 4/5 Stars.

You definitely need a reservation here on a weekend, not sure about weekdays. Our server Mikey was fantastic, very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the barbecue chicken salad, it was unimpressive. My friend had the shrimp and scallop risotto, she said it was ok. We shared the Banoffee pie, that was fantastic. I do wish they would have an indicator on the menu of which dishes have park like they have the indicator for vegetarian.

Went to celebrate a birthday. Drinks yummy. Brunch ok. The potatoes seemed old and reheated. Did not eat and I LOVE POTATOES. Got the gnocchi carbonara. Will never get it again. The bacon wrapped shrimp was AHHHMAZING AND THE SOUTHWEST EGGROLLS WERE AS WELL. I WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK BUT WILL NOT EAT THE BRUNCH. ALSO DID A WINE TASTING AND IT WAS VERY GOOD. ALSO GOT A VIN CHOCOLATE ALMOND WINE....THAT WAS SOOO GOOD. MY GGGF GOT ME A BOTTLE TO GO. MY EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD.

The food and our service was great and would recommend especially for those with allergies. Can't give 5 starts because we were there celebrating a milestone wedding anniversary and other than a quick happy anniversary when we first arrived there was no other mention of it. We have been to other places for non-milestone anniversaries and there were flowers on the table and visits from managers making sure everything was going well. Would not recommend if looking to celebrate a special evening.

UPDATE: We returned for a few weekdays and it was so much better. We’ve since joined the Wine club and go about every other month. I’m glad I revisited during non-peak times. Lovely restaurant, but I wish I had of experienced it when they weren't so busy. Food was good. Appetizers are shareable sized and we passed them around the table with 4+ people. The entrees, however, were not very large for the price. The wine was wonderful. We had a flight enjoyed at least 3 out of the 4 glasses ordered. Service wasn't the greatest though. I presume because of the amount of parries going on. There was 4 birthdays seen while we were there celebrating a birthday and an engagement. Very busy night and the staff seemed to struggle; both wait staff and the kitchen. The food took centuries to come out, wait staff was slow and one dropped a tray of wine glasses next to our table sending glass everywhere. I would definitely come back again on a slower night or for lunch, maybe not on a weekend night though. Definitely recommended this place when it's not so busy so you can take in the atmosphere they clearly have, but couldn't deliver when we were there.

I’ve been to Copper’s Hawk a few times and I have to say I enjoy my experience each time! Tonight I got the Braised Short Rib Risotto which was pretty good; a little more meat given than rice but still delicious. I could taste the truffle within the pasta and the rice and onions were cooked perfectly! I also had a Pear Drop which was recommended to me by our waitress and it was so refreshing! I had originally requested a lemon drop but she mentioned I might like this better and she was very correct! Other dishes I tried tonight were the Crispy Brussel Sprouts and the Sweet Chili Calamari. The Brussel sprouts had some crunch to them and a little bit of spice and the calamari was both sweet and spicy; I’d definitely recommend both of those dishes. The only negative from tonight was the Crème Brûlée. It wasn’t given to us as advertised on the menu and wasn’t the most appetizing. Our waitress; as nice as she was, was very frazzled. My brother was waiting on his mocktail for over 20 minutes after the rest of the group received their drinks and she gave my mother the wrong membership card. Regardless, tonight’s food was delicious!

I only visit for my wine club membership nowadays. Today I met Kinga who served me at the wine bar for my tasting. I can’t believe I’ve been a member for some years now and I haven’t met her yet. She was professional, knowledgeable, gave me good ideas on other things I could do with my wine, and most of all she was so patient when it came down to understanding my wine club membership. We had a “If Johnny Had 2 apples, and he gave away 1!” Moment. I was so confused about the big huge anniversary bottles. I thought I had to trade in 2 of my existing for an anniversary bottle. I wanted a bottle of night jar and she let me know I would be losing out on a few glasses from a huge bottle just to swap it for night jar. She was calm and patient, and I left happy. I tipped her whatever cash I had left in my purse. I walked out with 1 anniversary bottle, 1 bottle of night jar, and two bottles of the spiced pear. Update. My last experience was strange. The woman serving me kept giving me tiny pours during my tasting like I wasn’t supposed to be served. I gave her my membership number, she asked if I wanted to use one of my tastings, I said yes and she still kept pouring half of what a pour is served in a tasting. I have been a members for many years now, so I know. I even looked over at her while she poured for others. She gave them the normal pour size but kept serving me half everytime. I couldn’t even finish my tasting because I felt judged but I don’t know what her assumptions were. If there was an issue she should’ve stated it. I came on the wrong day and time.

I struggle to write an amazing review for this location as it just didn't wow me. Don't get me wrong, it's nice, great wine selection, food choices, and a clean, inviting atmosphere. I went during a slower time and had great responsive service. Beer selection is minimal. Combination of appetizers and mains is excellent. The shrimp in the appetizer were huge but a little overdone. The main course chicken was fairly dry and not super flavorful, the side sauce did a lot of heavy lifting. There just wasn't anything that made it stand out from any other wine/bar place to justify some of the costs. I'd definitely recommend checking it out, but as a regular spot, it's just not for me, I guess.

We had a private room prearranged for a group of 20, but it felt like management’s first day. Drinks and appetizers were not ready, entrees came out at different times, and trio medallions were not cooked to order nor consistently. Aside from that, it was an elevated food and drink experience, and Jake did a great job.

Came in a little before 4:30 on 2/13(note not Valentine’s Day). There was a short line at the hostess booth and the restaurant was about a 1/8 full. Multiple Hostesses were on the phone. I went to ask for a table for 2 for our anniversary. The hostess just said that “today is a reservation only day” and disengaged. We drove over an hour to get in - So disappointing. Zero attempt by the hostess and no customer service at all - basically just get out of line. Never been so disappointed in customer service as I have today. I usually don’t make bad reviews as I understand that there are hiccups but when you don’t even offer a sorry or we can get you in later or put you on a waitlist that would have been acceptable as we were willing to wait. It was our anniversary and I believe this was completely unacceptable to not accept walk ins. There is nothing posted about “reservations only” and my husband has been here without reservations before. So why change the rules Cooper’s hawk?
