MY DAUGHTER, SON AND I WENT TO SOUTHLAND PARK IN WEST MEMPHIS, AR TO 'ALL YOU CAN EAT CRAB LEGS', BUT THEY HAD PROBLEMS WITH BUSTED WATER LINES OR SOMETHING, SO WE ENDED UP GOING TO FITZ IN TUPELO, MS!! I'M SO GLAD WE DID, THE FOOD WAS AWESOME, ESPECIALLY THE SMOTHERED GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST 😋😋😋😋OH MY GOODNESS, IT WAS SOOO TENDER AND SEASONED JUST RIGHT!!! WE WILL BE BACK!! PLUS FITZ WAS $25 CHEAPER THAN SOUTHLAND THAT DAY!
I love my free gifts. The slots are good. The food is ok too.
I haven't been here before, so my husband took me for a mini vacation for our 10th anniversary. I absolutely loved it! Staff is very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back for sure . I highly recommend Fitz Casino & Hotel in Tunica . Very beautiful and the staff are amazing.
It's a clean hotel. No frig in room. Staff is very polite and helpful.
Other than the rooms being slightly outdated and not having a microwave or coffee in them, they were clean. We enjoyed our stay!
First time visiting Fitzgerald casino and hotel. Not only did they give new members 25$ in free play but they also gave us a voucher for the buffet. Shouts out to Drew, for the excellent experience. Thanks again I look forward to seeing y'all again in the near future.
All was good except had balcony room..no chair to sit on and no smoking on balcony
I have really enjoyable experiences at Fitz Casino & Hotel. I've never lost there! I've always come out with more money than I took in! Seriously! The casino floor was clean, easy to navigate, and not overly loud, which made it a comfortable place to play and relax. The slot selection is solid, with a good mix of older favorites and newer machines, and everything I played was working properly. The staff really makes my visits stand out. Everyone I interact with is friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which goes a long way in creating a good atmosphere. The vibe here is more laid-back compared to some of the larger casinos, which I appreciated. That said, the property is definitely showing its age in places and could really benefit from some updating and refreshing. While that doesn't ruin the experience, a few modern upgrades would make a noticeable difference and bring the casino up to the level of its great staff and overall potential. I’d still recommend Fitz to anyone visiting Tunica who wants a relaxed, friendly casino experience.
Had a wonderful time the pool was great the hot tub was awesome the service was very good. We were booked for a non-smoking room but wanted smoking and they accommodated us very well. Overall we had a very good experience here.
Love ❤️ this place the machines are hot 🔥 and they have hot seat on Fridays at the tables game an slots and Saturday's they call names every ten minutes for five hundred dollars 💰 and at eleven o'clock you have a chance two win 10,000 in cash 💸 an the new restaurant on the second floor is awesome 👌 I'm the person with the most reservations on opentable reservations for Dominics ♨️with that being said /// p.s.i just can't get them to call my name at all so yall wish me luck for that big money drawing on Fridays &Saturday's ☘️
Really don't know what to say the place was nice and clean smell good didn't stay there on a cane no one came around with drinks had to leave and get your own
Loved the old machines still working. Great food. Fudruckers, Dunkin donuts breakfast and Baskin Robbins too.
Fitz is a great place to visit and have fun! LUCK LIVES HERE! I recently visited to watch the boxing fight. Had fun!
Had a great visit! My room was nice and clean. Service was great
It is literally in the middle of nowhere but the hospitality you experience is top notch. Loved it
I had a fantastic time at this casino, especially because I ended up winning—lucky me! The only letdown was the pizza; it wasn't as great as I had hoped. The food court upstairs offers options like Dunkin' Donuts, pizza, and a variety of other foods. Despite the pizza, we'll definitely be back when we're in the area again.
Just a small thing, but the remote for the TV didn't work. The TV line up card was wrong. The deadbolt to the door didn't work properly. There was no housekeeping service unless you were checking out of the place. Staff was very nice and professional, and helpful when needed.
I stayed here Wednesday an Thursday room 714 an my nephew stayed in 712 my brother had another room but don't know what number the rooms was great we all had fun playing an eating jus cudnt get a drink unless playing at bar if you left a machine to get a drink tha evening bar tender charged $4.oo.. don't go on Wednesday or Thursday that bar tender is expensive we always stayed an played at Sam's town so we was finding our new casino but we go every month for 2 or 3 days to drink an gamble an Hollywood did serve drinks better..we had fun jus had to go back to room a lot to drink..
Hotel is old but you can tell it is well kept and pretty clean. Bed was comfortable. The staff that we interacted with during our stay were nice. They give first time guest $25 in free play for the casino and each guest a ticket for a free buffet. The only bad thing was that the buffet was closed when we stayed there so we couldn't eat there. And the tickets expire within 30 days. We live 2 hours away. The hot tub was hot and nice but looks like it could use a good pressure washing. There was a cigarette butt beside of it. Gross. And it had so much chlorine in it that after about 30 minutes, we had to get out cause both of our eyes were literally burning it was that bad. We did not use the pool but it looked clean. We got a couple of burgers and 1 order of fries at Fuddruckers and it was almost $32. Thats without buying drinks. The burgers were good though. I liked the toppings bar. As for the casino, it was the most depressing atmosphere. Not lively at all. The music on the speakers was terrible. Looked like no one was winning anything. I know I wasn't. Those machines just eat up your money. Just wasn't a good vibe. Go to Gold Strike or Hollywood Casino, they are modern and nice. Sams town, 1st jackpot and horseshoe didnt have good vibes either.
Visiting the Memphis area so picked this casino for the New Member Promotion. June 2025 New Member promotion: $25 promotion cash + free buffet. Unfortunately the buffet is only Wednesday- Saturday and we came on Tuesday. Used our promotion and will come pack tomorrow, Wednesday, to use the free buffet coupon. Also, Wednesday's promotion is for patrons over 40. Starting after midnight, being Wednesday, you can earn a free buffet by earning 10 tier points so we could earn another buffet. One can also receive $15 & be entered to win $200 Promo Cash. Disappointed that this casino does not have a smoke free section. Complimentary alcoholic drinks available while playing at the slots. Servers bring you your drink order and you just need to tip. Cashout slips can be donated to charity. Look for the clear lockbox by the promotions desk. Cashing out your vouchers will only give you bills. You need to go to the cashier for the change. I gave the additional change to make an additional dollar. Casino looks like a castle from the outside. Inside is a little dated, low key, and has many older machines. The casino floor seems small. There are a few live table games. The hotel looks like it is attached. We parked in the flat lot on the side of the building, but still an easy walk. Location is great as it is next to Tunica River Park by a short drive. Used our New Member complimentary buffet coupon on Wednesday for lunch. Played at least 10 tier points to enter into $200 comp $$ + a free buffet ticket for dinner. Buffet was more like cafeteria food. You seat yourself only where there are table settings of silverware. Self-service drinks are Coke products, Peak unsweetened iced tea, and coffee. Limited buffetvthat had the same menu for lunch and dinner. Much was fried food or heat & serve with very limited vegetable choices. Comp dollars earned can be used at any vener or The Market that is in the passage to the hotel. Nice perk there. Had to use up our comps so bought a wallet for our pet sitter.
Hotel is either under or need renovations but the staff makes up for it... everyone was top notch! Well kept secret location, but rooms gave a Motel 6 vibe. Fitz remodel and they will come 🫴🏿
Gambling was fun. Went for 40+ promotions, which is great. However, there weren't any cocktail waitresses upstairs. The buffet wasn't particularly good - it seems to be declining. Also, it is very limited for people with food allergies.
Dealers at table games are unfriendly and rude. However, the ladies at the front desk night shift went above and beyond to help me in a medical crisis. The buffet is okay. Other than the dealers, everyone is extremely friendly and are always available to help with questions, concerns etc. The hotel room was very clean and very nice. .
The staff at the front desk was fabulous and in the casino. The staff at Fudruckers was horrible. The rooms were ok but nothing special. The beds were not very comfortable. We had fun with our friends.
I have a very good casino host. As for the rooms, they are very plain. The parking lot has very few handicapped parking spaces. The casino is very crowded and you can barely hear anything going on with the specials over the loudspeakers. If you go for the buffet. You will be standing in a very long line, so you better get there early. And no toilet paper holder. We were told that not all of the rooms have them.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Check in was great. Most of the staff were sufficient, but no one seemed happy to be working there. No one was winning. I have NEVER played anywhere and not , at least, broke even. We went to a couple other casinos, totally different vibe. Helpful employees, machines making some noise. No coffee maker in the room!! Even motel 6 has that. $5 a cup of coffee. No fridge or microwave, of course. We will not be back, and that's on corporate.
Rooms are dated. Bed comes with 3 pillows. 2 people to share. We asked for pillows and was told we should have asked when housekeeping was there and they left at 4pm. After gambling $10k and drove 4 hours we were tired and wanted a few more pillows. Walked to front desk and she said you get 1 thats all. Really? No coffee maker or fridge in room. Buffet was very lacking and hibachi meat was bad had a smell. Dunkin had stale frozen donuts. Tunica itself is very run down and isolated. Machines was very very tight and it seems this place might be next on chopping block. Tunica had 12 casinos and now down to 5. Sad. Very sad. Not a destination spot anymore.
Best prices if you plan to stay out in the casinos the majority of the time. Rooms are C+ but definitely doable and affordable. Bed is comfy though! The inside pool is.... It gets a D- hard pass on it... Definitely on the cheaper side when you can spend 30-40 more a night and go to Gold Strike or Horseshoe and the quality jumps SIGNIFICANTLY but for quick on the go trip not to shabby. Whole experience B- they do offer free buffet for new members as well as $25 in free play but Casino is very very small. Disappointing Casino gets a C+
We visit Tunica pretty often and decided we would stay at Fitzgerald's for a change. We usually stay at Hollywood. The room was a disappointment. Wide open room, but no small table and no extra chairs like we are used to having. So the only place to sit and eat was on the bed. The toilet paper in the bathroom was more than 2 arm lengths away from the toilet, behind a GLUED DOWN box of kleenex!! The bed was extremely firm, if you like a firm mattress, you're in luck, however I'm used to Hollywood's beds where you feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. There were trash bags lying over the side of the trash cans, but not lining the cans...found that strange. Now for the casino. Restrooms are only on one end of the casino. There were no stations for coke, coffee, etc. We were on the casino floor for over 9 hours before the first waitress asked if we would like a drink. If you left your game and went to the bar to get a drink, you were charged for them. They do have a Fudrucker's at the casino. We had the burger, which was a disappointment, but chicken tenders the next night were really good. They also have a Baskin Robbins, but were out of chocolate ice cream, so we passed on it. There's other places to eat as well, but we didn't try them. Winnings were ZERO for me. My worst casino experience, money wise, ever. Will I go back, not sure about the casino part, but for sure won't opt to stay there. The best part was the indoor pool and hot tub. Pool was not heated, but hot tub felt awesome. One last thing, we went the day after Christmas and was disappointed to see so few decorations. There was a single Christmas tree in the hotel lobby. Other casinos had beautiful decorations throughout, but not at the Fitz. No decorations at all on entering the casino. 1st Jackpot and Hollywood had beautiful decorations. I'll give this stay a generous "C" for my rating.
For a casino hotel, I expected much, much more. Starting with I drove up to the lane marked Valet, there is no valet. It is tucked very far off the main road. Front desk staff, my attendant was friendly but the other young lady was not. I stood in line hoping I didn't get her because I had questions and she didn't look liked she'd want to answer them. I requested a handicap accessible room. Not sure they know the definition of ADA Compliant. There was one rail in the role in shower only. The shower bench was worn and bent. It didn't look clean or safe. It is definitely in need of updating. The room was simple and in need of updating also. If you're expecting the luxury of a casino hotel this isn't it . The casino was okay. Plenty of slot machines. Food at Dominicks was good. Friendly staff throughout the casino area.
Was not happy with our room the bed was like sleeping on a rock no coffee maker will not be staying there again
Didn't stay at resort. But went to casino. It was very crowded. And then ate at the buffet, good thing it was free. It was crab legs night. The legs was over boiled and then the guy serving them was digging through them per person instead of just handing them out. Like he was giving better cluster to certain people. Then the buffet it self was lousy. No steak, not grill, basic buffet, friend chicken, some fish. Baked chicken and veggies. I mean the buffet had chicken nuggets on it.
The only staff member who deserves a 5 star is the gentleman who served us our beverages at the buffet- he was friendly and smiling and interacted with us even as busy as he was, otherwise there was no welcoming feeling as this place sucked our money on a very busy night (hard to not believe machines can't be "tightened". These machines sucked $100 bills with little to no payout at $1.80 - $3.60 bets) It is a beautiful place with many machines and we would have loved to play longer and possibly stay at hotel but not after our experience. The $25 plus free buffet is generous and appreciated, I just feel that the staff is unhappy or overworked or just plain don't like their job or people What happened to being friendly and smiling these days? I will not recommend this place to my family and friends who travel by here.
Room was just ok but we were on 9th floor.Stayed the weekend of April 12th. Didn't see anyone winning anything even though it was packed. Lost $600 and couldn't even get a free meal. Didn't even win enough to keep playing. Usually I can play on some winnings but nothing. Will be staying at another casino next time. Signed very disappointed in the Fitz.... Oh and almost forgot was not asking even one time if we wanted a drink .... Won't be back till you can do better, not that it matters.....
Warning everybody there beds suck and more than likely your not going to hit no matter were you play and if your under 40 dint look forward to seeing to many people your age all rooms have microwaves or refrigerator if u have a streaming device be prepared to pay to use it . And get ready to show your ID WHENEVER u enter the casino everytime!!
HORRIBLE BUFFET! DO NOT EAT THERE! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WENT TO THE NICE RESTAURANT THE GIRL SAID “ all tables are reserved “ NO ONE WAS IN THERE! FULL OF EMPTY TABLES, WE KEPT CHECKING WITH HER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING ALL EVENING, I GUESS SHE JUST DIDNT FEEL LIKE WORKING
Even though I provided a copy of my ID and my social security card and birth certificate. They wouldnt allow me in. And you can tell I'm obviously of age. If all match up of what i gave them why is that not a source good enough to enter?
So disappointing the ENTIRE premises (even the parking lot) is now 21+. This was the first place I stayed with my parents on our Tunica trips 27 years ago when I was 6. Now my siblings & I have kids of our own. We took them to see the castle architecture and hoped to check out the renovations our friends that are locals had told us about. We were immediately confronted in the parking lot and very rudely told to hurry up and vacate. I, my brother, and dad still wanted to check out the inside so we needed 5-10 minutes to make a plan about where my sister and fiancee could take the kids and when they should come pick us up. Couldn't even give us that. I've never seen anyone chased out of the parking lot over 100 ft from the door of any other 21+ establishment. They ultimately decided to go check out the museum and aquarium that's right next to the property to kill some time & go figure they had extremely limited cell service there so it was needlessly difficult for the three of us to communicate with them about when we were done & they should return to pick us up. As soon as they got back to the parking lot they were immediately accosted by security circling the vehicle. Inside the building, the employees were friendly and attentive and apologized for our initial experience outside, but it still left us soured. The floor is quite nice, has lots of dining options, and had wait staff active on the floor. It would absolutely be a shoe-in for where we would stay on all our future trips if they followed conventional standards & only banned kids on the game floor like all the other casinos in Tunica. It seems like a no brainer to me. The aesthetic is conducive to it because it looks like rolling up to a castle when you first arrive & has that museum/aquarium right next door. It's a solid choice for those without kids, but steer very clear if you do. Hollywood & Sam's Town are the top options for families, though their game floors aren't as good & have much less wait staff on the floor. It's going to be many, many years before we'll be going back to Fitz.
If you're not from Mississippi it's just not worth the trip to tunica. In my opinion the slots are not loose the tables slow and dry, I'll recommen Southland gaming and racing before anything in tunica.
Consider avoiding this worn-out, very down market property as it is well past its prime and in serious decline. -- Inadequate staffing. Upon arrival only one (nice, but excruciatingly slow) desk clerk was working to check in a long line of guests -- Rooms are old, sparse, and worn. See image of stained ironing board which tells the story -- EVERY part of this property including the lobby, elevators, halls, rooms, and of course the casino, smells of cigarette smoke. Many rooms I walked past reeked of marijuana -- NO housekeeping during a stay? So it I stay a week, ZERO housekeeping for the entire week? And the excuse is out of consideration for "guest and team member" safety?! Lame, disingenuous and -- if my and team member safety is so much of a concern it eliminates ANY housekeeping services for the entire duration of a stay -- then that is 100% a reason to avoid this place -- The casino gives pathetic, very smokey, geriatric day care vibes
Smoke alarm beeped all night. Nasty room. Torn up chair. No coffee maker, no fridge either. Won’t stay there again. No cold water. Both faucets were hot.
If I could rate it any lower I would. I got banned from the casino for being up $45 at blackjack. My 3 other losing sessions they let me stay but the one time I win and I’m banned. Best blackjack rules in tunica but there’s no point when u get kicked out for winning. Sore losers. Not to mention there’s MICE. And their reward program is so bad😂 do not risk donating here cuz even if u win they’ll kick u out. If they unban me I’ll take my review down but since they’re prejudice this review shall stand truth hurts fitz. EDIT: there isn’t more to the story. I beat y’all at ur own game u got mad and banned me. Don’t have a casino if ur just gonna kick people out for winning. Prejudice pitboss too. Still haven’t been given a reason why I’m banned. I guess that’s why nobody plays blackjack there
You ask someone for help and they have bad attitude. dont stay here and waste your money. Plenty of other better casino and personal. we here for event not casino. better not spend no money here. You all need better customer service.
Edited: Scheduled 6 weeks before pool tournament this weekend. Understood no microwave, frig nor coffee maker, so we prepared. Confirmed on arrival day of 2a.m. hold on room. When arrived at 10.15pm, "the room wasn't ready." Went back at 11.15pm to "no room available." The Fitz has gone down in both customer service and buffet food quality.
My husband came Saturday for the crab legs like he does every time Fitzgerald does them. He said they were absolutely disappointing this time. For the money they are charging now this is absolutely unacceptable. I’m glad I didn’t go this time because I would have been super upset. Please do better, Fitzgerald’s. $50 for crab legs only to disappoint my husband is just sad. He comes every time you all do them. He’s actually said he may not come this next time…
I stayed at this facility room 358 post crawfish and corvettes show. I woke at 0500 am to go to the bathroom and there was a rat that ran from behind the bed to the chair in the corner. I called the front desk, they did not sound concerned and took my number and their manager would get back to which didn’t happen. I called later that day same thing they passed me off the manager which did not return my call. I definitely relay this to my corvette brothers not to stay at this facility. I would never stay here again.
1st visit- My husband and I recently visited Dominick's. The waits was long, which was surprising as the restaurant was not overly crowded. The food was ok, but the service not so much. The waitress brought out the appetizers and entries at the same time. We ended up eating the appitizes and boxing the rest. 2nd visit- We're in the restuarant now. Reservation was for 6:45 pm. We checked in and was tole it would be a few minutes as a table needed to be bussed. We sat behind the hostess stand and watched not just that table, but also 3 others not he bussed, and 4 other groups leave. The the hostess tells us it will be about an hour because the kitchen is backed up. I've asked for a manager that has never come, but we were seated at 7:15
My husband and I have stayed at Fitz several times. We just went this past weekend. Checked in on Saturday. Went to the casino. My husband got a new players card (we usually get new ones each time) we ate buffet. We spent a lot of money playing all the mechanics. We then stayed in Fitz hotel another night. Played all day Sunday spent more money... Before checking out Monday we were going to go eat breakfast and play a lil more. Unfortunately that did not happen as they checked our IDs again. ( We are 35 and 36 as it was his birthday )And for some reason my husband's ID "wouldn't scan" and they refused to let us in the casino. We were very disappointed. And will not be going back!!
The room was dirty, and the surfaces had not been wiped. They had sticky rings on them and the floors had large sticky spots. The toilet bowel had a ring, and two light bulbs in the bedroom had to be changed out. We were here for several days and no one offered towels, asked how our stay was going or emptied the trash even once. The room was supposed to come with a safe, but had none. Having a safe is important to us as travelers. The hallway noise was excessively loud with slamming doors and employees with squawking two way radios. The bed and towels however, were clean.
So there were no refrigerators, sades, or microwaves in the rooms. When asked about it we were told when they go out they weren't replacing them. This makes it super hard for people that are on medication that has to be refrigerated like insulin. The cleanliness of the rooms were mediocre. There was dust on the tops of the beds and pictures. The pool closes at 8. Which is ridiculous unless you go to bed around 8. The buffet was mediocre. The steakhouse wouldnt let anyone in without a reservation even though there were only 5 people in the entire restaurant. The nightshift person at dunkin donuts kept disappearing and talking to other staff from other parts of the casino. We waited for 15 minutes for her to quit talking to one of the id che checkers. The pillows were super soft and upon requestion additionals they told us they cant do that. There is nothing to do around the hotel either.
First impression is the LAST impression. Customer service is awful!!! The hotel receptionists not friendly, terrible nasty disposition. My husband went to get a cart for our luggage after checking in and the hotel receptionist at the front desk asked him for his driver's license until he returned the luggage cart. The hotel smells musty. They smell of some fragrance is use to try and conceal the odor. The rooms are not clean. The floors are sweaty and slippery, no refrigerator, microwave, ice machine in hallway 1st floor doesn't work, mold in cracks of the shower, can barely see of dirty windows, cobwebs in room, curtains dusty and dirty, hair in sink and toilet not clean. The funky smell of marijuana after getting off elevator. The inside lock on our room door broken, we moved to different room. Made reservations for two nights, only staying one. The worst hotel EVER!!!
Attended an event at the fits on December 3-7. The security here is a joke. Not enough seating for the event and security wouldn't let anyone sit aginst counters in lobby. Also staff came and took ashtrays that were being used in lobby.Staff was very rude and not appreciative of over 900 members spending money in the casino. Hopefully we will move our tournament to a new place in future years.
I was traveling with my wife on 10/31/25 from Panama city Florida to Paragould Arkansas. I got to this casino about 1245 am and asked if they had any rooms available. I was going to pay full price for the room and leave the next morning around 12. The parking lot only had about 30 cars in it. The person at the desk said there was no rooms available without even checking. She was very rude and we will never book rooms or play in this casino again. We ended up going over to Harrah's they actually comped the room and my wife and I spent over 2000.00
Worst casino ever...you literally dont win when feeding one machine $500. It's best to go to Southland Casino your chances are better
Went there with my Mimi for my 21st birthday to gamble in 2019. we went to fitzgeralds and it was 10pm, 2 hours before my birthday. I went to go see if i could get a card early and start gambling and they treated me like a criminal. Took me to the back to like a little holding cell and said they were reviewing cameras and if i touched a machine and gambled they were calling the law. Biggest power tripping id ever seen.
Went for buffet, only have two stations that were open and there wasn't much to those, not worth the drive to Tunica
