The staff was very friendly, they provide excellent customer service. The food was delicious. I had the crab cakes over linguine, my wife had the lasagna, and we both shared a giant meatball. We're definitely coming back.

Delightful, hole-in-the-wall family restaurant. We have dined here throughout the years and have found each time to be wonderful and tasty. Staff are attentive. Food is delicious! Even when we order takeout, food is yummy and pipping hot. Give this Italian restaurant a try!

Service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. It's been years since we've been and I honestly forgot how great everything is.

Our family has been dining here for as long as they've been open. From my grandparents to my grandchildren this has always been a favorite. Fried asparagus as an appetizer. The cod over risotto is delicious, so much in fact that I've been tempted to lick the plate. Don't worry, I've never done it 😉 Prices are reasonable. Menu is diverse without being too extensive. Service is great! You feel like part of the family while you're there. I have no photos since I'm always so excited to eat.

Food is straightforward and delicious. Well-prepared, all made from scratch, served with well-deserved pride. Sautéed vegetables were perfectly cooked, neither (as so often happens) undercooked and tough, nor boiled into abject submission. I’ll be back!

This place never gets old. We love it so much. We travel 40 min to get there but it's worth it. Our favorite items to order are the fried asparagus and the baked lasagna. The staff is super attentive.

Cute and cozy! Very nice, relaxing ambiance! Looks and feels warm and inviting as soon as you step through the door! Service was AWESOME! Waiters were quick, attentive, but non intrusive. My daughter and I had dinner there. A cup of minestrone soup and salad is included with dinner. I am normally not a huge fan of minestrone soup. However, I loved their minestrone! Salad was really fresh, and bread served warm, so yummy!! Ravioli and Chicken Alfredo were our entrées which we each enjoyed. We will definitely go back!

This is in a strip mall area, but don't let that fool you! Wow! Just wow! I had salmon with polenta and the salmon was perfect. It wasn't dry or overcooked and the polenta was very good. While we only went once as we were on our way home from a trip, I found it to be a homey and nice place. My husband's dinner was good too, but I cannot remember what he had. Highly recommend!!

There were booths and tables available and my Dad and I enjoyed our meal experience in a booth. Deborah was friendly, attentive and helpful. She told us that the Chicken Marsala & Spaghetti, Fettuccine and Pizza were the popular items people order. So I ordered the Chicken Marsala and my Dad ordered the baked Lasagna with a side order of Garlic Bread. We also ordered Italian sodas. The wait time was reasonable and our meals were the perfect tempurature. The chicken was tender and flavorful. Dad said the lasagne was very good and we both enjoyed the side order of garlic bread. My meal came with spaghetti and french bread. I took these to go because the portion of chicken was enough to fill me. They ended up being my dinner which was perfect giving the sauce time to saturate into the noodles. We are looking forward to going back to try more of the many items they offer!

Small family owned Italian restaurant with a menu that is prepared as if my Italian aunt cooked it. Luckily we had reservations for 4 at 7:00 pm because when we arrived there were several people waiting for a table. The service is great and the meals are plentiful. The linguini had a generous amount of clams with a delicious white sauce, the calzone was large enough for 2 or 3 people, and the other entrees looked delicious as well. This Italian will be dining here again!

The inside of the restaurant looks like it probably hasn't changed since it first opened, but it's cozy and sort of adds to the charm. My wife and I got a meat calzone to share and a cheese pizza for our 3 year old. The calzone was STUFFED with thick cuts of mouthwatering Italian sausage, meatball, and gooey mozzarella cheese. It came with a side of marinara sauce and grated parmesan cheese. Best calzone in Turlock hands down. Our 3 year old didn't have any complaints about the pizza either and he's super picky. Get the calzone or you're missing out!

If your sting down 99 it’s worth the 5 min detour to eat where us Turlock’er’s do! The calzone is my favorite. They make it special for me. A little meat, veggies and extra sauce and cheese. I love the food here. For me, it's one of those places where you are well taken care of. I love the minestrone soup, and salads are very fresh tasting, and the dressings are delicious. The sourdough bread is wonderful as well as both garlic breads. I love the meat ravioli with the tomato as well as the meat sauce. My mom really enjoyed her chicken picata. The mozzarella appetizer is delicious and tastes very fresh. I highly recommend this place.

Even though he wasn’t technically our server, he stepped in with the kind of attentiveness, professionalism, and care you’d expect from the best in the business. His positive attitude and willingness to help truly stood out and made our dining experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s rare to see someone take that kind of initiative in a role that often goes unnoticed. This young man deserves to be acknowledged and honestly, he has the qualities of a great future server. Keep up the great work! Also, the food was amazing, we’re from out of town and enjoyed every bit of it.

First dining experience after Covid in Turlock. But before the second wave (update). Italian dishes we had: traditional cheese pizza, clam spaghetti, chicken parmesan, chicken pinata, for appetizers, deep fried zucchini, and calamari. All total with half drinks were 104.50 plus our 25% tip for the prompt and courteous waitress. My dish had small sized clams,see pic,, but forewarned, the pics doesn't do it justice. I liked my dish with with spaghetti size noodles. The clams, which had more than abundance ratio with spaghetti. The kids liked the deep fried Zucchini, but the calamari, not so much we forgot to ask about type of calamari. We like the small version squid.They brought out the large sized squid. The dishes were 7 out of 10 IMO. Not bad at all Anyway, As always keep exploring where ever the Gov't tells you is safe.

I really like the food here, it's consistently good and service is always fantastic. My only two comments are... The pour on a glass of wine is a bit skimpy, and cinnamon never belongs on tiramisu... should be chocolate. 😉

Food was delicious (just wish they bruschetta on the menu) and the service was phenomenal. Very friendly and helpful. My husband always asks servers what their favourite dish on the menu is, and sometimes the server has no idea how to respond. Ours today was super helpful, she had categories and i ingredients lined up for my husband based on his craving and he loved the pizza she recommended (paulo's). Would definitely recommend.

Cozy place with the feel of a traditional Italian restaurant reminiscent of Manhattan's Little Italy, with checkered tablecloths and intimate booths. Classic, dependable dishes like eggplant parm, spaghetti and meatballs, calzones,chicken Marsala, fettuccine Alfredo, minestrone, lobster ravioli and much more. Above average wine list to meet any budget and both domestic and foreign beers. Good for a family or date night. Great food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Shrimp scampi was delicious but the pasta was overcooked and seemed like they didn’t mix any pasta water with the sauce which helps the sauce stick to the pasta! Unfortunately the pizza wasn’t much better than a store bought frozen pizza. Also had the creme brulee for dessert which was the standout!! So good!!!

Hadn't ate here since I was in high school and was really excited to try it again. I did curbside and ordered around 2:30 for a 4:20 pick up well I got there at my time long story short they misplaced my order 25 minutes later waiting in my car I finally got my food with just a sorry about the wait. Something extra offered would have gone a long way. That being said the food wasn't bad. I would have given a higher rating but it was pretty pricey for the service I received also they charged a container fee for my food.

Porterhouse steak was ordered medium and came rare to medium rare. This was during the evening when their last call is around 8pm, but this is still unacceptable. The steak was almost inedible at some parts. Wish I had taken pics. Their pizza seems ok tho.

I loved going to Angelini's with my family as a kid. The food was always great! I went there yesterday afternoon with high expectations of awesome food and was very disappointed. The service was great, very polite, clean restaurant. However the spaghetti I ordered was bland and had little meat, with noodles that seemed to have been reheated and not freshly boiled. The wedge salad I had tasted like dirt, and was certainly not worth what I paid. I am so disappointed because I really was looking forward to a wonderful experience here.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER not only did our food take over a hour but the little hostess girl had the most unprofessional attitude. Our food took over a hour then was poorly packaged, poured all over the leather seats of the new Tesla, and stained them, to ice the cake the hostess says “that’s your fault you should’ve called ahead so I don’t know what you want me to do about it. Are the seats leather” meal wasted now they are asking that we dig the meal out of the garbage and bring it back in order to get the refund. Had to take out food to go on top of all this. I have never had such terrible service in my life. Spent over 140 and that’s how we are treated.

Went in with my family last night for dinner, vibe was very old school Italian you can tell that they haven’t change things in years, service was ok. took a little bit to get our drinks, food very disappointing, no flavor ! My chicken for my pasta had no color honestly looked like they just warmed it up and turned it on a grill a couple times and sent it out ! The meat ball had absolutely no flavor like they boiled the meat ball and just covered it with a red sauce, overall experience with my family didn’t end out night well and me being a 5 star chef and being big on flavors the food was dreadful. Don’t recommend!

One of my family members went here and specifically ordered Gluten Free pasta in her dish. When the dish arrived, she again asked if it was Gluten Free and the waitress replied yes. Well the dish ended up not being gluten free because her daughter who is also GF noticed it. She had already eaten most of the dish however. When she told the waitress she was not very accommodating or apologetic. She unwillingly comped the pasta portion of the dish but not the whole meal and offered NO apology!! This is very unacceptable!!! If a restaurant offers GF options, they need to know that it is because of an ALLERGY!!! These ones can get very sick if they accidentally eat gluten pasta. Now this customer has to suffer with stomach ache, brain fog, etc. a few days because of this CARELESS waitress!!!

The chicken they used for the entrees, which were chicken marsala and chicken picatta were old and tasted horrible, like the wine wasn't cooked out of the sauces. As bad as everything was we only sent the shrimp scampi back because it was 100% inedible. It tasted almost rancid! The minestrone soup was watered down and tasteless. I had noodles, 1 carrot and 2 kidney beans. The pasta was just meh, i didn't even box it up to take home. The wild feral cats got the fake crab cake and what was suppose to be chicken marsala when I got home. I can't say that I would ever choose to go to this place again. Oh and they totally forgot about us as well. We waited FOREVER!! Tables that came after us got there food. So we waited for our main dishes for way to long that was just crap anyway 🙄
