This is one of my new favorite places ever. Last month, a girlfriend and I took a girl trip to Joshua Tree and I saw their products at the JT Trading post, so one day upon leaving the park, my girlfriend and I stopped by and I had not checked the hours. We arrived minutes after they closed on Sunday at 4, but they offered to reopen for us. We hesitated at first because we wanted to be respectful. But our arms were twisted (ha) and we went in and got to business shopping. The owners, whose names escape me, are lovely couple with 4 dogs and this business is their child. It's so satisfying to support this type of establishment and needless to say, my whole family is getting gifs from Modern Moon Apothecary this year. The piece de resistance: this haunted antique flute. I just had to have it. I love it.
We love this store! So many unique housewares. Crystals. Books. Teas. Plants. Cacti. The owners are so knowledgeable of everything in this store. I love knowing how much thought went into each and every single item you see. I brought home a beautiful new little flowerpot by Sanctuary Ceramics. I absolutely adore it. It may even need a sister…more shopping for me! Love love love.
Love the experience of this space! So beautiful and relation, so many beautiful things. I love the table of crystals and the back room theme changes 🥰 I get my loose leaf tea here, we are very satisfied and will continue to visit and shop!
This place is amazing! The tea I bought smells so good! Well they all do and I’m going back to get more to try! I lost my little herb shop, when we moved here, so them selling herbs is a win as well! Great little shop. Besides all the unique trinkets and gems, they sell loose tea leaf and other unique items. Their back room is a rotating themed room, so every time it seems a new caravan arrives in town with new items. These shop owners put in a lot of effort and passion.
My neighbor told me to stop in if I want a cute and unique items from our new home. Man, she was not wrong. This place is such a pretty little gem. They also serve fresh tea leaves.
This place is truly magical! Everytime I visit i feel like there's so much I need to go home with! The owners are kind and pleasant and always available to help in any way! If you're in twentynine palms and looking for a place to visit this is a MUST on your list!
The gems, stones and minerals they have are very beautiful; but the tea collection is why I came. I have been looking for a place for loose leaf by-the-oz tea that is local to me and this place certainly fits the bill. Great selection and fairly priced, staff is incredibly nice as well!
I am so impressed by not only the products I purchased from Mojave Moon but also the customer service. It was other level. I reached out to the owner regarding pieces not listed on the website and she quickly sent me photos of these items and then created an invoice for me. Just wow! As for the items, I am in love with my new crystals. The selenite tower was even larger than expected and has a beautiful glow to it. I have also been wearing Velvet Morning roll-on perfume daily and I feel so pretty with it on. So much care was put into packaging and shipping. Couldn't recommend this business enough. If I was local I'd be a frequent shopper.
I can’t get over how incredible this shop is. I’ve never seen crystals so beautifully curated and displayed, every visit is an adventure. Prices are VERY reasonable, and there are even some rare stones sold by the gram. Can’t recommend enough!
Mojave Moon Apothecary has very fresh herbs that work excellently for my tinctures. I love coming here to buy essential oils, dried aromatic herbs, and beautiful crystals for intentional work. They also have educational workshops. The prices are very reasonable. There is something here for everyone. This is a gem in the desert, and seeing this store flourishing in Twentynine Palms fills me with joy.

I purchased the Dark Forest Crystal Infused Bath Oil + 3 perfume samples (Dark Forest, Desert Rose and Graystone). Everything was beautifully packaged and included a personalized hand written note. The bath oil is amazing and the perfumes smell wonderful. I will be purchasing more from Mojave Moon Apothecary very soon. Highly recommend!
