Great place for a breakfast before a hike in Joshua tree. We waited just a few minutes in the morning prior to seating and did not take long for our food to be served. The country breakfast in pic was excellent. Highly recommend if you are in town.
I was in from LA camping in Joshua Tree National Park. I stopped in for some warm breakfast and had a wonderful meal meeting the super friendly staff!!! It was so good I went back the next day for lunch! Great place to go!!! I will be going back and don't forget to tip your waitress🙂👍

We wanted a little cozy place to break away from the usual routine. Crossroads Cafe was just the place we were looking for. We both had grilled sandwiches with soup and salad. And a homemade lemonade. Delicious!! Autumn and crew were very accommodating. The meal came out quickly, temperature was perfect. The lemonade was delicious. We also took home a coconut strawberry cake slice. I loved it. Unique flavor and texture. I drizzled honey on top. Omg!! Amazing All in all, we enjoyed the experience. 5 stars is my personal recommendation.
Beautiful place with an authentic 1960s diner vibe — they’ve preserved the original style perfectly. The atmosphere is nostalgic and welcoming, and the food quality is excellent. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Definitely worth stopping by if you appreciate classic diners and really good food. Highly recommended!
I like their x-roads omelette. The service here is generally good, can get busy on the weekends. Everyone is kind, super helpful. The home potatoes they have for the breakfast are really good. I try and come here whenever I'm in the area!
This place was a pleasant surprise. We were driving through Joshua Tree without a plan for where to grab food, and the menu seemed fun so we gave it a shot. There was a bit of a wait but that's to be expected with a small, busy place like this. We were texted when our table was almost ready, which I appreciated because it allowed us to pop into the shops nearby while waiting. I got a wrap with a cup of soup - the perfect combo for a surprisingly chilly day, along with a pretty good local beer. The prices were very reasonable for the portion size. I'd love to get another meal here if/when I make it back to the area.
Fun atmosphere for a dinner after a long day in the park. Delicious food that left everyone in our party happy and satisfied. Delicious cheese steak, amazing burgers, tasty wraps, and the chili was amazing. The service was super friendly, prompt, and attentive. We enjoyed our meal here and would totally come back again. My only disappointment was that I could smell cookies, but they didn't have any available. 😂
Had lunch here and everything was super tasty! I got the tuna melt with Caesar salad – fresh and flavorful. Also tried the chicken quesadilla and it was cheesy and satisfying. The vibe was nice and service was friendly. Wish I could come back more often, but it’s a bit too far for me. Still, totally worth the stop if you’re in the area!
Very relaxing and rustic spot! We stopped by for breakfast and we were happy to find a spot! This place is hopping! Our breakfast was good and hardy, everything you want to have before exploring the Joshua tree park. Thank you for a great breakfast and an excellent service! Did I mention the banana bread??? You must try!
Wow, just wow. We stumbled in from a long day of offroading and were not expecting just how amazing the food is at Crossroads Cafe. The sandwich bread was soft and fresh, the Mac and cheese was to die for. All 5 of us loved the food so much we told them we would be back in the morning for breakfast as well. Every single item we ordered was delicious

Perfect breakfast spot with extensive menu. Everything was delicious. The grilled herbed polenta with feta and ranchero was my favorite! Funky vibe and excellent service, as well.
Love the food the ambiance and the service. The prices are reasonable. For the amount of food great portions.

Crossroads Cafe is a small but quaint breakfast spot with a welcoming, friendly vibe. The staff was super nice and made us feel comfortable right away, and the portions were definitely plentiful, so you won’t leave hungry. We ordered the breakfast egg sandwich on sourdough and the country breakfast. The food had good flavor overall. The sausage gravy isn’t your typical Southern-style gravy you might expect, but it did have its own flavor profile. The biscuits were a bit dry, and while we also tried the banana bread—which was tasty—the decision to warm it on the griddle dried it out more than necessary. It likely would have been better served as-is. That said, the menu has a lot of options. Just a heads-up that it is a bit pricey for breakfast, but the portions, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere still make it worth checking out if you’re in the area.
I really liked the Crossroads Cafe. The service was excellent, the meal was pretty good, there was a lot of variety on the menu, and the atmosphere was quirky and fun: oil can lights on the wall, comically awful taxidermy, and 70's funk/jazz playing throughout. For what's basically a roadside bar, the food was a cut above and the wait staff was terrific. My only regret is not buying a t-shirt on the way out. I'd definitely stop there again.
We spent the day exploring Joshua Tree National Park and were hungry at dinner. We found this place had good reviews and looked family friendly. It worked out good. We got there before the big rush but still had to wait for a table. The food takes a bit of time after ordering. I believe it's because they make everything from scratch. It was really tasty. I got a sandwich, the Tom-Tom a turkey and avocado sandwich with sprouts, lettuce and tomatoes. For the side I got a cup of the Cilantro soup. Super delicious since it was cold. But I tried some of my son's fries and they were great too. I also tried a bite of his kids burger. It looked homemade and was flavorful & juicy. Definitely was pleased with the whole experience.
Me and my family (party of 4) went to Crossroads cafe and had a decent experience. They said that our wait time was 30 minutes but we got seated in less. We ordered hot chocolate, orange juice, SoyRizo hash, polenta with sautéed veggies, pancakes, Mac and cheese, and the breakfast burrito. The hot chocolate had an amazing flavor but the juice could have been a bit fresher. The SoyRiso hash could have had more flavor. The polenta with sautéed veggies was very good. I would recommend not to order the strawberry pancakes as it made the pancakes soggy. The breakfast burrito was standard egg and cheese so I would recommend to order something from the winners circle to make it better. The Mac and Cheese had an amazing cheesy flavor. We had also ordered something banana bread to go, but it was a really small piece for the price. The service was standard.
First time visiting. Went on a Friday morning at 11am & it was a 25minutes wait time for 2 seats. They have a good app to let you know when a seat is available after you’ve checked in. After we ordered, our food came out on time & the San Diego beer on tap was very delicious. Overall a cozy experience. I recommend especially for first time guests.
Food was good. the coffee was really disappointing. The service was none existent. our server said less than 6 words the whole time. \n\nPrice was pretty high for the experience.

The service was good, the food was.. okay. The environment, cool. I’m quite a breakfast snob since I used to work brunch shift as a server all summer.. so I know a good crispy potato, with an impeccable poached egg with hollandaise. I was just underwhelmed. The potatoes left much to be desired.. but the bacon was great. I got the Egg Barrio I think?
I had high hopes for this place, but it definitely let me down. The food was at most average. Don't trust some of the reviewers unless they had tried other foods outside the area. The country breakfast was not good. The biscuit and gravy was dry. My friend's toast was burnt. The pancake was okay. The butter that came with it was good. The Mike's mess was enjoyable and the only thing I recommend getting. The Mac and Cheese is very average. The Mimosa was very disappointing. They use a regular glass cup. The mixture of orange and sparkling wine was okay. I don't know what wine they use but I had better. The ambience is nice. Very western vibe. Plenty of space for seating. Plenty of things to look above as well. Service was nice. All the ladies were nice and helpful. They have high chairs for the kids.

Waited for almost 1 hr before getting our food and there’s no service except adding water during the wait. Coffee refill after strong request. Asked a random server said food will be ready whenever it’s ready. Oh very cool. Mandatory 20% gratuity since we are group of over 6. “We have a small kitchen with only 3 cooks. “ When you walk in a restaurant in a small town we expected to wait for 1hr for a brunch on weekend? Oh can the owner get more space for kitchen in exchange for tables?
