Took some friends from out of town, good vibes, friendly bartender, good music, great time playing pool. Yes bloody Mary's excellent choice.

Added a dollar bill to the wall in memory of my boyfriend that just passed away, played pool and had a few drinks. Prices are reasonable and the people are nice.

Definitely a place for regulars, but the bartender was super nice and drinks were cheap. Looking for a good dive to drink in, this is a good option.

Virginian Cocktails has a great vibe and friendly atmosphere. Service is amazing, the bartender was absolutely fabulous. There’s a great selection of beers and spirits, as well as pool tables and a juke box. Don’t forget to bring a dollar bill to leave on the wall! Thank you for the excellent hospitality and service.

This review goes to M . Your Drivers license ( ID ) card is NEW From the DMV - And obviously different from the original. The NEW style ID’s were issued in late October. We were NOT informed by DMV or the police department. My nephew who is a Sargent for Glendale PD was not aware of the revised Drivers License. We can’t be informed when there was No one to inform us . We were kind to you - As we are to ALL of our patrons ~ WE ID period .

This place is a true diamond in the rough. Dive bar atmosphere but the place is spotlessly clean including the bathrooms. Great prices, great service, lots of parking in the back. Owner really really knows how to run a business and train her staff in her image. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our visit, and we just popped after a day in Joshua Tree. Do yourself a favor and visit this fantastic 29 Palms gem.

Enjoyed the bar, nice atmosphere and friendly service. Heads up though: it's cash only. I used my ATM card which I haven't used in several months to pull out cash from the ATM in the bar. Two days later, a bunch of fraudulent charges started showing up on the card from Michigan. I can't be certain since I was only visiting Joshua Tree for the weekend so can't return to the bar, but it seems likely that there was a skimmer on the ATM.

Refused a beer as my wife didn’t have ID. I’m 55, she’s 51, and we were told it’s state law that you have to show ID before being served? Funny that in the previous 7 days we’ve never been asked? Obviously they didn’t want our money.

Went to this bar tonight and got denied service by an ignorant bartender named Keele who has served me in the past but i havent been in for about a year. She refused a driver's license issued by the DMV! Pure ignorance educate yourself and your employees.
