I'm still raving about the incredible dining experience. As vegans, we were thrilled to discover a plethora of delicious plant-based options. The spicy noodles and panang curry were absolute standouts - rich, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The staff ensured our meal was vegan-friendly. The restaurant itself was clean, welcoming, and provided a wonderful ambiance. If you're a vegan (or just a foodie!) looking for authentic, mouth-watering Thai cuisine, look no further! This place truly delivers. We can't wait to come back!
We came in a group of 9 and it was great food, except we found 3 hairs in it. But the food came in seconds and everything was amazing. I would recommend this as this is one of the best Thai places I've been to. 👍
I tried “N2 Pad See Ew” for the first time! And I wanna say that these are THE BEST NOODLES! I think I AM OBSESSED with these noodles now! I’ve NEVER tried anything like that! THE MOST DELICIOUS NOODLES IN MY LIFE! I got one dish and after I came back and grabbed another one. I will ABSOLUTELY COME BACK AGAIN! This is the best noodles place in the WORLD!!!!!!
They do know how to make Thai food spicy!! 🌶 Amazingly delicious and spicy if you ask. There's nothing more I need to say since everything was great, food to service. Very polite servers. Food came pipping hot! I think $9.99 for small tomyum might be a little higher. White rice quantity was really good and Green Curry flavorful. Chicken soft and vegetables crisp! Overall everything was great! I rarely give 5 stars tho 😋😋
Used these guys to purchase food for wife's surprise party. Although they do not cater, they took my large order (20+ people)and got it right. Always my go to for Thai in Twentynine Palms. Definitely appreciate taking care of my crew.
It was an authentic Thai dinner. The waitress was extremely nice and came to our table when needed but not more. Maybe it is my European character but I love to have privacy while dinner instead of having a waiter showing up every 2min. The portions are exactly right from a size perspective as we went out without still being hungry but also not overfilled. The ambience is ok but not special, therefore only 3 stars for the surrounding. In any case a place to recommend if you are looking for authentic Thai cuisine and a relaxed dinner.
No frills, reasonably priced Thai food serving excellent classic dishes. The Spicy Noodles and Green Curry hit the spot.
Wow!!! Amazing Food!! Delicious and tasty!! Even the kids loved it! The salted pork and pan fried dumplings were great. They have a homemade green sauce that’s amazing! The Tom Yum noodle soup was so complex and flavorful!! The Paneng, Pad Thai and Pad See Ew was on point!! For dessert the mango sticky rice was terrific!! Thank you very much!! I highly recommend coming here!!!
Very affordable and solid no-frills Thai spot. The spicy noodles and green curry were excellent. Friendly service.
Jan 2026 We had dinner here. They were busy and understaffed. They did a great job of getting us our food as quick as they could. The food was quite good. It was a bit noisy due to some loud children, but otherwise good.
This Thai eatery is just what we needed after my son's and my DMV experience. I had their lunch special item, some Delicious spicy coconut curry and rice with pork. The salad was crispy and the sweet vinaigrette very yummy.. Awesome various 80's & 90's music waa softly playing in the background so we could still conversate well. Service was friendly, just a really great time in my day, probably my month to be honest.
Thai iced tea was great to wash down all the excellent noodle dishes we ordered. Only one other table occupied the entire time we were here. Quiet place but great food and drink
Very tasty Laab Ped (Duck salad). Pad Thai was also fine. Friendly owner.
I love trying Thai food from different cities while exploring Thai cuisine across the states. I stopped by this place after visiting Joshua Tree, and it didn't disappoint at all. The pork salted (I think it's fried dried pork) was really tasty and authentic. The beef noodle soup was also delicious—the beef was tender, the meatballs were high quality, and the portions were generous. I usually don't comment on service, but it could have been much better.
Nice casual dine in Thai food restaurant. We came around 7:30pm and they were decently busy. Parking is in the back and you can enter from the back of the building. I got the pad see ew with beef. Food was delicious!! I saw tons of mobile orders from this place too. Great place to eat near the Joshua tree national Park entrance.
It was a really quiet Tuesday afternoon during lunch hours but the food is SOOOOO GOOD. Everything was super authentic and yummy! Pad See Yew with chicken is not too salty or overseasoned. Really tasty. Their house fried rice is perfect and again not overseasoned. My favorite dish is their green curry. Not overly spicy but has a nice kick and tons of veggies and protein. All dishes are $12.95. I got a Thai tea without ice and it was sweet and lovely. I don't really like super sweet drinks so I did water it down with some ice and water and it was perfect.
Food was so delicious! We are from San Francisco so we are picky with Thai foods but we loved everything we got! The Tom kha soup was delicious, duck curry, crab fried rice and pad thai were all so yummy! Portions were also very generous and service was superb!
Excellent, authentic food. Service was also very good
First and foremost, great food!! The atmosphere is fairly casual, so probably not a date night sort of thing, but if you’ve just spent the day in Joshua Tree this is the perfect dinner. Service was average, but the food made up for it.
This place is amazing! I wish I'd came here years ago. The food is great and the absolutely beautiful ladies even played with our annoying children! They have a fish tank with really cool fish.

We have searched different places in Twentynine Palms for good food, and have been disappointed. That is not the case with this particular restaurant. Gluten-free is sort of a given as far as Thai food is Concerned. However, the food here was exactly as expected. The ladies were very kind and attentive. We knew we were in the right place when we heard their native language being spoken throughout the staff. It is odd that they’re closed on Wednesday, but by all means take advantage of their great food and hospitality on all of the other days. Thank you for a great experience and good food.
Me and my husband just ate here tonight and it was amazing. We accidentally spilled the same drink twice somehow and they were equally kind and patient both times!! The food was out of this world and we were so sad we got full so fast but that just means we can eat it tomorrow lol
The food was way better than I expected! Loved it. Every dish was delicious and cooked well. The service people were sweet too. I’m not from this area but I will go back when I visit again.
We had the chicken green curry, chicken kung pao lunch special, and thai tea and everything was so good! The lunch size portions look very small initially, but with the egg roll and salad it came with, it’s actually just enough. Full size portions don’t cost much more than lunch, so I do recommend getting those instead for bigger appetites. They were busy but we still got everything on time. Overall, we’re very satisfied with our experience. Food taste really good.

Decent quality for the location. Decently priced. Portions could be a bit bigger for the meat plates.
The food was absolutely divine. Tom yum soup and vegetable and tofu soup were both great. The tofu used is soft, silky! Amazing. Pad thai was delicious and mild as requested by us and portion sizes are very generous. Took out one star because the dishes were melamine (plastic) and also because the place could use a little bit more maintenance and uplift but please don’t let that deter you from giving this place a try if you are in the area or even if you have to take a little detour.
December 28th, Sunday, 5pm. Came in for an early dinner, it got crowded after 6pm. The spicy noodles with tofu was good. The service was slow, it took 40 minutes for the order to arrive. The Thai tea was great, on point. They had many vegetarian options.
We dined at many Thai Restaurant. In fact, it's one of our favorite types of food. We have dined at the restaurant several times before during our visits to Twentynine Palms, California. The food is delicious, I will admit it, and the service is always great. This last dining experience was a little different. It's understandable that all restaurants need to be cleaned thoroughly. However, during our dining experience, the only thing I could smell was the cleaning agent they used. I could actually smell it once I opened the restaurant doors. It almost detered me from going in. That was the only negative. Their food is great and always delicious. The Chicken Satay was flavorful and was probably larger than most chicken satay we have had. The yellow curry was great and was very flavorful. They don't skimp on the chicken. The Mix Veggie with chicken was also delicious. The Mango and sticky rice was a fantastic ending to a delicious meal. The service has always been great when we dine here.
2024 March: updating to 4stars. Went back again because I heard the food was better. Indeed! I shared my first bad experience & they made sure my 2nd & 3rd experiences were much better. I’ll return again & I DO recommend. 2022 August. First time visiting. Went on a quiet Thursday night around 7pm. We ordered the chicken skewers, shrimp pad Thai, beef drunken noodles and the sweet shrimp vegetable. What I dislike the most (the reason for the 2 stars) is the quality of food and portion size. The pad Thai had 4 pieces of shrimp in it. My kiddo was like where’s the rest of the shrimp? I wondered the same thing. For $16 I don’t think it’s worth it. Also the beef in my drunken noodle tasted stale and had that taste of freezer burn. On a positive note their customer service was good. I won’t return but I’ll recommend for anyone visiting for the 1st time.

Decent Thai place in 29Palms with good selection of Thai food. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with our Vegetarian dietary needs. Plenty of vegetarian options and all curries are made vegetarian on request. Their Thai Tea was excellent.

Food was great, just takes them very long to get your dish ready
I was driving through 29 palms. It has changed a lot since I was here last 40 years ago. This little Thai restaurant, I was hoping would be good. Here is what I got: The server was nice enough, but did minimum possible. As to the food, I ordered Tom Kah with fresh tofu and four star. And I ordered Pad Thai with fried tofu and four star. The star ratings are for spiciness I also ordered a Thai iced tea with real coconut milk, but was informed they could not do it because they didn't have coconut milk. Which then she said "oh but we have canned coconut milk.". Which honestly, I understand is the only type we get stateside. Was unable for unwilling to make me a Thai iced tea with coconut milk instead of half and half. First, let's review the Tom Kah: Lacking in coconut milk, very salty. I had a hard time finding any basil in it at all, although there was parsley or honestly I think it was probably cilantro. The pad Thai was somewhat flavorless, and overcooked. The Pad Thai had almost no spice. The Tom Kah was spicy enough but difficult to eat due to over salting. I really want people to know, I'm not trying to be petty about this place. I'm just trying to give an honest with you. I also had green tea when I could not get Thai iced tea with coconut milk. Green tea, was very weak. The cup they gave me with it was dirty, and there was a small dead insect in the bottom of it. Again, I'm really not trying to be petty. I just expect more if you're going to have me establishment and serve people. I do not think I would stop here again. Well that's my review.
Incredibly rude staff. It is my friend’s birthday and he wanted to celebrate it with a nice dinner here. We called and found out that they would be closing not long after we could make it there, so we asked if we could place a takeout order. The woman who answered the phone (at 8:40pm on June 21) asked for our name. I told her Will, and then spelled it, because oftentimes I’ve had people on the phone ask me to repeat or spell (due to poor connection or mishearing). The woman rudely interrupt me with, “I know how to spell Will!” So we declined to place the order because of how rude she had spoken to us. We will never visit again.
Food was low/mid-tier; horribly rude service. We sat there for a whole hour and only got our appetizers. Portion sizes were extremely small
I payed almost 70.00 on shrimp fried rice with only 4 shrimps , 5 fried shrimp, chicken fried rice with not no chicken in it , chicken on the stick was not good flavor. Spicy noodle with old noodles that been sitting not fresh. Its was trash i wont waste my money again . Never will be back.
No way this place has a 4.1 star average with so many one-star reviews. They have a three person cooking staff, which normally should be able to turn over twice the tables and orders this place does, but after two and a half hours still no food. The management staff should find a new profession. And you should really just go somewhere else to eat.
It was the worst service we ever got at a restaurant. Waited 40 minutes to get water on our table that too we had to request. Took 1 hour to get our order after requesting to check what happened to our order. All we got was just a sorry.! Best part comes now.. we have food but we don’t have forks to eat. We get it as server realized it. Then second order comes without serving spoon. We had to walk to the counter and ask for it as no know bothers to check on us. Then finally we walk over to request to go boxes. It was a horrible dine out experience. Food quality was solace. It was sweeter but good. I would suggest just order Togo rather than dine-in. They are short staffed and un-trained.
I'm new to this town new to this restaurant, only been there one other time, the second time I went was so horrible, the person at the register [wasn't there my first time, totally new person to me] big tall guy with tattoos and colored contacts, he was so rude and unprofessional, hostile, and aggressive. I unfortunately don't feel comfortable to go there again. I don't ever want to come across that person ever again. Sadly my whole experience there my second time was so awful I cried it was this big ol unnecessary situation that could have been handled differently and properly on their part, and now I feel like not going anymore to avoid coming across them again. Because of him I no longer feel like eating here again.
I rarely write negative reviews but ...I placed an order with a waiter with real attitude for a soup and steamed gyozas. both orders came totally wrong even though the waiter had written them right ! it took forever to get the food while restaurant was empty. it was the worst tom yum goong and dumplings I ever had.
An absolute masterclass in how to drive customers away. We waited a full hour for our food with zero service in between—no water refills, no silverware, nothing. But the real highlight? When the server finally brought the WRONG order and we pointed it out, they caught an attitude and told us to be 'nice.' The irony is painful. Do yourself a huge favor and skip this place unless you enjoy waiting 60 minutes just to get scolded by the staff.
