I was skeptical. But I'm in love with street tacos. I have found these hole in the wall family run business are the best. I won't lie it looks a lil sketchy from outside. But the tacos.. and really the area are great. Don't be scared. So far I. North Tyler these are the best tacos I have found!

I moved from Tyler to Kaufman, and I make the drive to Tyler just for Joey’s Tacos!! That’s how good they are, it’s the corn tortillas for me. Their Salsa is also to die for, most places now a days taste watered down. Not to mention only $2 a taco, is cheap!! People are paying $14 for three tacos in Dallas or almost $4 per taco at Taco Bell 🥴

The loaded fries were extremely good, and really well portioned. It was definitely an item you can share, and for a great price. The salsas were actually spicy and made the fries taste even better.

I come here every so often for the phenomenal food they serve, mostly late night. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is outstanding as well. I lost my wallet either in store or in their parking lot, and the next day one of their workers was at my door attempting to reach me to give it back. Took time out of his day to drive all the way to my house to return my wallet. Unfortunately I wasn’t home but my Ring camera caught it and I rushed over to Joeys as soon as i saw. Not a card out of place, and all cash still left in there. These are genuine people. Love everything about them. I’d give more stars if i could.

So happy & glad when he got his restaurant very proud !! Excellent top tier service & Amazing & AWSOME food ! Everything on the menu is perfect!! You will not be disappointed at all ! I door dashed the steak tacos, it came with grilled onions, raw onions and cilantro, green and red sauce Everything was 10/10 my usual spots are el lugar or don juans. Now this will be my go to! I loved the spice on the green sauce also

Best kept secret in Tyler, best asada I have tried and I have been to Cali, super soft and falvourful steak. And the atmosphere??? You will want to take a picture while waiting for food!!! 11/10 will be going back!!!! Delicious!!!

I consider myself a bit of a taco expert and these rated very high on my personal taco scale. red sauce and grilled onions alongside these street tacos made them even more flavorful. Service was quick and accurate, friendly enough for a takeout order... great neighborhood find. We'll be back another Tuesday, for sure.

As somebody who absolutely loves authentic tacos, none of this Tex-Mex stuff that's known in East Texas 🤦🏻‍♀️ Joey's has some of the best tacos my family has had since moving to Tyler. This is definitely a hidden gem in North Tyler and so worth the visit.

The food is great. If you're looking for Mexico home taste, this restaurant is a good beginning. Top 5 of my favorites.
