We had the best experience and our waiter was Riley Younger best waiter we have ever had anywhere.. We left him a $30 tip! He had the best chicken fried steak bowl and I had avocado toast with fried eggs with bacon and a fruit cup highly recommend

Great breakfast and lunch food. Ana was our waitress and she was friendly and attentive. My husband had a chicken fried steak and I had the cinnamon roll pancakes. Both were awesome! Will definitely go back.

I found this place while in town for the weekend. Staff was friendly, they were really busy but still checked on me regularly which was nice. I ordered the Migas and the cinnamon roll pancakes, both were great. The price is about what to expect from a local diner, not too expensive but the food was great. Highly recommend it if you’re in town and looking for breakfast.

first time here and our server hannah was very sweet and attentive she gave us amazing service she recommended the brisket cheese fries and they were to die for !! the food is very delicious and the portions are also very good. on top of all that they play the lords music 🎶 definitely recommend this to be your breakfast place !

Best Brunch Ever! Came into Tyler for some shopping and decided to get some brunch. The Diner was the first to pull up on the Google search. Wait time at 10am was about 20 minutes. Wait staff was super friendly and attentive. Coffee was great! My family and I mostly got breakfast items and by the time our food came, everything was so good that we ended up sampling each other's plates. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Omelette - which is something I never knew I needed in my life! I would go out in a limb and say this was the best overall restaurant experience.

Delightful staff who seem happy to be there. Overall was very good with a few misses. We loved the French toast but the pancakes were doughy and a bit off. Pan sausage and bacon were great but the andouille sausage was too spicy for a breakfast dish. Omelet was good. Food came fast, would eat here again but would order slightly differently in the future!

First time here ~ Katie, our waitress & Amanda, the manager were both very friendly. There was a little wait for our table which seemed weird because it really wasn’t busy. We ordered our food & it took quite a while to get it ~ at least 30 minutes or more. The green tomatoes were so yummy!! The chopped steak was good too but the gravy was SO salty. The green beans didn’t have a lot of flavor. The sweet tea was really good too ~ a TX must! Parking it a little tight to get into; We would probably go back but make sure we could have a long lunch.

My wife wanted to make a detour to this place just for the Texas shaped waffle. The actual waffle was just ok. Luckily the chicken fried steak I ordered was excellent. The batter was great and very tasty. The rest of the breakfast was good, but nothing else was outstanding. The hash browns could have been crispier. Overall a decent meal, but definitely not worth the 40 minute detour just to drive off the 20 and back.

It was okay we ordered the patty melt and the chicken and waffles. The patty melt was better than the chicken and waffles which is a little disappointing considering it’s a breakfast place. The chicken seems crispy and perfect on the outside unfortunately it ended up being a bit slimy textured on the inside I finished majority of it because I was hungry but again it was disappointing. The waffles was great and they have some great fries that came with the patty melt as well. Service was great and the restaurant was clean. Update Feb 2025 on a previous review I made. For transparency they invited us back since we didn’t have the best experience (food wise) the first time. We still paid for a portion of the new meal we got. It was better, service was amazing again. They were quick too! Avocado toast (not pictured) was loved, so was the waffle flight 7/10 (personal opinion as someone who doesn’t fancy chocolate a whole lite the ref velvet was very chocolatey). Brisket fries were okay only complaint is that the cheese could have been layered better) it stuck to the fried in the middle and the top and bottom fries didn’t have much when I started to actually eat it) but the flavors were all there and the food was cooked properly! First time eating here and we were excited. We had a little bit of everything and we thought our server Bailey was good, she was very polite! Where it went wrong was when she handed us our bill, OUR FIRST BILL was xxx amount. When she came back the amount was different , we didn’t know until my husband started to sign he had already given her a tip. She had added gratuity with out our prior knowledge. As awkward as this situation was we asked a server and he stated he would take care of it. No apology was offered, Bailey came back with the CORRECT receipt and absolutely no apology , she just walked away. PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!!! **I just want to add that we have no problem tipping, we even tipped more than what she had added herself before we knew what she had done. Very unprofessional but we still let her keep the tip we left **
