Ordered plenty and so far, SO GOOD. Iordered the Upside down Halo Halo, the Hibiscus Calamansi, Mermaid Milk Tea and most of the treats lol. Upside Down Halo Halo...AMAZING. The cornflakes tasted so good and the ice cream on top, so good. Husband's Hibiscus Calamansi, refreshing, sweet, and nothing seemed to overpower each other. Kids Mermaid milk tea was nice, Jasmine notes. Kids inhaled the Chocolate coffee crunch cups and the Banana Langka cups were smooth. Haven't tried the other items yet (need to ease up on the sugar load😉) but can't wait.

Came in on Tuesday night 15 min before closing. We had ordered online so we didn't wait as long as it seems others did. There was a line and it grew even longer behind us. They were busy and the staff was working as fast they could. The service was still friendly despite the rush, which seems this place is always busy. The decor and ambiance was a bit confusing. The front of house was.. uhm not sure what kind of feel they were going for. Though.. head towards the back off of the front counter.. and WOW. The artwork was amazing. We of course had to take our photos there. Now, the food and drinks. We order the upside down halo halos, thai tea, ube truffle, leche flan ube brownie and ube butter. I rate the food in that order. Although all ube, all different flavours. The truffle was bomb. The thai tea was meh. Don't come here for that. But come for the upside down halo halo. We came from South San Jose and the drive was def worth it. Ube lovers don't miss out on this place.

I love ube and would get anything ube here! I had the ube milk tea with almond milk, the ube truffle, the ube butter bar, and the ube Pop-Tart! I traveled a bit far and definitely wish I could order put the butter bars and truffles to be shipped to me!

We ordered ube leche flan cupcake, upside down halo-halo, grilled cheese and zebra blended latte and they are all affordable and delicious! I was just a little dissapointed w/ zebra latte. i was expecting a black/white drink but it just looked like a brown/coffee blended drink.

This is a must try! I stopped by here after going to Trader Joe's. There's a lot of free parking, great ube drinks, smoothie,latte, cheesecake, milkshake. I am definitely going back it's worth the drive down there🤤🎉

We got some upside-down ube halo halo! And it didn't disappoint at all. The desserts were also ok too especially the ube leche flan..

The ube tres leches cake is just amazing!!! I tried the ube leche flan cupcake and found it to be okay. This place is fantastic for ube lovers.

The upside down halo halo - it’s sweet and yummy! It’s a perfect dessert to share if you don’t want all the sweets for yourself. Flan and ube cupcake - ok The flan was way too firm and not smooth. I love flan, so wish it was better. Besides the flan, everything else was good. I’d skip the flan and ube cupcake and go for the upside down halo halo!

Ordered the Ube Monster, Ube Butter Bars, Ube Crack Cheesecake, and Ube Cupcakes with Flan. I absolutely loved the Ube Monster Milkshake. I like my Ube/taro more sweet and there was tons of flavor. Best baked item imo was the butter bars, tons of great Ube flavor. The cheesecake was a bit too cheesy and not enough Ube flavor. Some folks in my group don’t typically like Ube and they absolutely loved the cupcake and flan with the textures complimenting. Would definitely come again, but gave it a four stars because the Ube wasn’t always consistent.

For a Filipino, I do not like halo halo but Cafe 86's Upside Down Halo Halo is the only halo halo I will eat. Definitely try! Other faves from here are their Thai Tea Monster Milkshake, Ube Leche Flan Cupcake, Ube Tres Leches & Ube Truffle.

Nice deco and disappointed they ran out of the ube Halo halo purple. So we decided to get the brown sugar halo halo halo. It wasn’t what we liked. Maybe next time. Please, get the distribution on track. As always post wherever your palate takes you.

For all your ube needs. I got an ube milk tea and a dessert as well. Overall, it's a fun novelty experience but tbh unremarkable. If I'm craving filipino flavors I might come back for their calamansi drinks but other than that naaaaaaah Drinks: 6/10 Vibes: 6/10 Service: 5/10 Value: 5/10

The other day, I ordered an Ube latte from a coffee shop, it packed flavor. Cafe 86 delivers and it's a hidden gem. They have some very cool desserts that will satisfy your sweet cravings. They have many things on their menu worth trying so be sure to come visit their shop sometime.

Drinks are amazing, although my family doesn't get boba here. All the slushie monsters (thai, matcha, ube, etc) are delicious. Halo halo & reverse halo halo are decent, but they really fill up the cup. Order takes forever to arrive, though, so expect a wait especially during busy times.

Staff was pleasent, service was fast. We loved the halo halo but the pastries and iced ube latte were ok. This place is great for food photography

First time coming here this past weekend and I had a 50/50 experience. All the sweets are over priced, my drink tasted like water (hibiscus calamanci) and the boba felt like slime. My lady’s drink was immaculate (strawberry calamanci ) which I’m happy for… I was super disappointed because I love their SJ location which my go to drink is their strawberry calamanci. I hope in the future it’ll be better…

The coffee here is not great. The flavors are mild and the coffee is not strong. We went there in January and the coffee was mildly warm. It was too chilly outside and we were disappointed to have a lukewarm coffee. We got coffee to have it in the shop but we were sad to see that it was given to us in a to-go cup. So we couldn't enjoy our coffee experience. My spouse and I go on coffee dates and are connisseurs of coffee but we're disappointed with this place. There were also not many snacks/easy bites offered on the menu. The ones offered were sweet. The one that I wanted was out of stock. Do not recommend this place if you wish for a good coffee and a healthy bite on the side.
