Sweet Mex

This is my only place to get a diablito..best in Bay area. Tamarind Diablito is so good and refreshing with some spice. I know my fellow indians would love this item. Apart from this, they have really good mangonada. They also have other ice creams. They also have all Hispanic treats like hot Cheetos with nacho cheese sauce and jalapenos. They have savory food items here as well. I have tried their al pastor tacos and it was delicious. I am looking forward to more of their food items.

A hidden gem of amazing Mexican food you’d expect and everything you wouldn’t expect in terms of dessert. Highly suggest the elote corn (as pictured!) which is a savory treat mixed into the dessert menu.

I drive from San Lorenzo to come here when I have cravings for their Al pastor tacos, hot Cheeto corn cup 🤤 oh and the michelada

Came in here for a quick bite and was greeted by the wonderful team inside. The food was great along with the service and music! be sure not to skip out on their ice cream selection, it's amazing.

Been here over 10 times now within 2 months and I can say there Tacos do not disappoint and I've been a regular. Recommend the El Pastor Tacos! You will not regret it!! Amazing Place

My son loves this place so I finally decided to try it out... The carne asada burrito was so flavorful I ate half of it before I realized I hadn't added salsa. Been back 2xs since and everything I've tried has been excellent!

The pepino y Limon Agua Fresca was amazing. I brought me back to Tijuana. Must visit. I will be coming back. Next time I'll take pictures. Excellent. Delicious.

Authentic Mexican dessert with fresh ice cream and fruit treats. I love the mangonada, it has fresh cut mango, a really cool chilly sauce and mango ice cream.

I was surprised not to spot this place although it was so close enough. I wanted to to try their mangonada and was really glad to find them. They got amazing mangonadas.

Don't forget their daily fresh made aguas. Our favorite are piña (pineapple) and frutas (mixed seasonal fruits). Oh yeah...and they have ice creams too. Delicious fresh food. Friendly attentive service. Family friendly atmosphere.

From the outside this place looks very unassuming. It looks like a small snack spot in a strip mall. But the food was notably impressive. I had the watermelon Aguas frescas which was perfectly sweet and had little juicy bits of melon in it, very refreshing. They had lots of flavors to choose from. Then I had the Al Pastor tacos, and they were probably the best al pastor tacos I've had, maybe ever. The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and even had the roasted pineapple that really balanced the flavor and added authenticity to the dish. The cook and the flavors were spot on, and the tortillas used were homemade! This taco was a cut above the rest, I give it a 9.2 out of 10. I don't live around here, but if I'm ever around I'll most definitely stop by again.

i’m not mexican, but i came here because my friend said that it was really good, and i was not disappointed!! through sweet mex i got to become more familiar with mexican food and culture, and it’s always a pleasure to go to sweet mex because the atmosphere is super nice and the people are always kind ^^ really opened my eyes to a culture i was unfamiliar with AND THE FOOD IS SOOO GOOD, the ferrero richer ice cream is the best 💜

Excellent food, prepared really quickly and tasted great. The tortilla chips were rather thick but the highlight of the show was the super burrito (I got a veggie super burrito), which was, well, super, to say the least. It was also freaking gigantic but was no challenge to finish, as every bite was delicious. Would definitely come back again.

Horchata Frappe is delicious, they make tacos with handmade tortillas too. Highly recommend if you have that sweet craving for Mexican style golosinas

If you want some AUTHENTIC FRESH DELICIOUS Mexican food, this is the place to go! Their pork tacos are off the wall. Freshly made tortillas. Fully flavored meats, good meat, not the cheap stuff that’s filled with hard chewy inedible fibers that you gotta spit out. Their generous and affordable too fresh drinks made with pure freshly cut fruits. A must try.

Really enjoy the fresh fruit and ice cream treats- have not had tacos there. Fruit dishes are good combo of different ones. Got the fruit in a pineapple/watermelon...wow, a feast of fresh fruit as well as for the eyes. Only draw back, can be slow since fruit is cut up when ordered...but you know its fresh.

My family and I always go here and I love how they layout their menu it makes it really easy to see what you want to order. Although I feel like the taqueria food is a little overpriced it is still okay food. I would like for the people that take your order to be a little nicer one of the girls that usually takes our order doesn't know how to treat customers and treats us not so kind or polite. Other than that everything is good.

Update april 2021- mango used were pretty raw and tasteless. Mangoes tasted neither sweet nor sour. Tasteless. Mangonada was really good. Staff behind counter very helpful and friendly. Superfast service and accept Samsung pay.

I’m sorry but the lady cashier has to go and you need to hire more people this is unacceptable for the money we pay
