Food comes out piping hot. Lots of good choices on the menu. Staff is very polite and professional. Today I came near closing time and they kept the kitchen open just for my family. With that level of respect, I am happy to spend my money here.

We went here super early around 4 pm and there was no wait. I hear that there’s a bad wait when you go during peak time but we had no issue! The XLB was fire, probably the best I’ve had anywhere in the bay. With some chili sauce was just perf. The spicy wontons were just as good, those were probably my fave and that sauce they put them in is amazing. The zhajiangmian noodles were okay, they were cold which was odd and my friend thought it was probably because they had been sitting out or something. But the flavor was good. The service was fast but our server was not polite. Just business. Overall a good experience though! My friend and I got these three dishes, we were super full and it was $49 before tip.

First off the apps on the house, so freaking good really salty though. Everything we ordered was good and I believe this is a Taipei style cooking. One of my family’s go to places. Our server was super nice and friendly

Always very busy, but best dumpling noodle house around for sure. Get noodle soups, get dumplings, duh. Stir fries are good too. Can't really go wrong with this menu. Good for larger parties (18 people or less). While waiting, wander around the Daiso in the plaza.

We enjoyed our first visit here. It is a modern restaurant where you write the quantity on a menu. The staff punch in the order and give you back a ticket of your order. The dishes come out when they're ready and the staff crosses the item off your ticket. We got 9 dishes. The combination chow mein was surprisingly good. The honey walnut prawn was a good portion and nice and crispy under the sauce. Their take on broccoli beef was refreshing, not boring. Someone in the reviews said the peashoots could have more garlic, and while not bad, I'd agree that they could use either some more salt or garlic. I preferred the pork xlb over the crab meat xlb. We also ordered their special golden shrimp roll. It was delicious and fresh, but it was not that special. I must be missing what makes it a special. The pig-shaped custard buns were cute and delicious. They gave us 3 different colored pigs; we wondered if they had different custard flavors but they were all regular custard. I would get them again. We would probably try their strawberry chocolate xlb for dessert next time! It was an enjoyable dinner, and we would come again!

This restaurant was so De-De-Delicious!!! Din Ding Dumpling makes fresh-to-order xiaolongbao (XLB) using top-quality ingredients. I always love the rich soup inside each dumpling. The meal includes a refreshing cabbage and peanut salad. For my second entrée, I had the pan-fried ground beef pie, which was absolutely Bussin. A meal like this pairs perfectly with a pot of hot jasmine tea. Next time, I’m definitely trying their noodle dishes! 📍 Din Ding Dumpling, Union City, CA.

Great food, good portions, and reasonable prices. Definitely worth the wait. Must try items: pork& shrimp pot stickers, pork xiaolongbao, and dry fired string beans with pork. The scallop rice was a nice touch. The sliced beef tendon was the least favorite item.

Came here for my brother’s birthday since he lives in the area. Luckily we made a reservation because it was a full house when we arrived. The menu is not too broad and everyone was able to found something they liked. Service was great and dishes came out pretty quick. Definitely would come back for the fantastic authentic food.

I've been coming to Din Ding Dumping House for a few years now, after being introduced to it, and the quality of the food has stayed superb the entire time. I've taken many groups of friends and family here and have had their takeout, while not as good as dining in, on multiple occasions. Now, whenever I have friends visiting from out of town to the area, I recommend this place wholeheartedly! Even my mom thoroughly enjoyed the menu. I can't remember the xiao long bao enough. The pork flavored dumpling melding itself with the soup broth to create a flavorful pouch of deliciousness with every bite. They're the best when they are fresh from the steamer! The tomato egg noodle dish was new to me until I tried it at Din Ding and it's become a staple dish that I order almost every time here. If you're in the area, you must try Din Ding. You will not regret it!

This place has been a favorite for us ever since we found it. Their dumplings are high and delicious and their noodle dishes are exceptional. We've never had bad service when we eat here and can even order takeout with ease. They do get busy during peak hours so definitely come when they open for the most open seating. We got our usuals: Pork & Crab Xiao Long Bao Shrimp & Pork Dumpling Xinjiang Style Chicken Tomato & Egg with Noodle Beef Brisket Noodle I typically get their shrimp fried rice and piggy custard buns (also delicious) but wanted soup for a cold evening. 😊 Definitely a great spot to come with friends and family to enjoy family style dishes!

Busy, yummy and authentic! Came here to get my fix of soup dumplings and I was more than satisfied. They all were filled with delicious flavors, though some of them are very well complimented with some necessary dipping sauces. The other dishes were yummy too so can't complain. It can get pretty busy and hectic during dinner time tho. Food: 7/10 Service: 5/10 Vibes: 5/10 Value: 6/10

Great authentic dumpling house. Very popular spot so you may need to wait a bit before getting seated. All of their dishes are good, definitely shareable so you can try different dishes. My recommendations below are basic dishes which they make really well. Prices are bit on high side. 4.4/5 ⭐️

This is 2sd visit. Food is delicious. Dry noodles bean dishes are good but a bit oily. Dumplings still the best.

Finally got to try Din Ding and I actually really enjoyed it considering pricing is on the higher end for what's offered from what I'm used to 💸 There was no wait since we came early enough for our weekend lunch and got the last available table (nice)! We ordered XLB (piping hot, soupy, and flavorful), potstickers (crispy + juicy), garlic noodles (nutty flavor, al dente), and bok choy (honestly didn't need the bok choy but it's delicious too). Happy to come back another time to try other items. Seating is on the tight side and the lunch atmosphere is super lively.

We ordered way too much as always. We only had 6 people. Everything was good. The noodle soups, pot stickers, green beans, soup dumplings, cucumber salad. The sautéed veggies could have used more garlic. Would definitely come back when in the area. The parking lot gets full since there are a lot of places to eat here.

I have been here so many times, but this is the first time that I could review this place. During the other times we ate all the food before we could take photos of them. This place offer extremely delicious dumplings. They are so moist, and their skin is so appropriately thin. Side dishes are okay. Noodles are diabolical and can be skipped. Noodles are too soft and mushy for my taste. Service is good and quite fast. Waiters are polite. Ambiance is fine in the front, but the bathrooms are a bit tragic.

Din Ding Dumpling House lives up to the hype, with delicious dumplings and a bustling atmosphere. Be prepared for a wait - we arrived before opening, and there was already a line! The Yelp waitlist only works in person, so keep that in mind. Despite the long line, service was surprisingly fast. Our food came out quickly, which was a relief considering the packed restaurant. They offer indoor seating only, with both small tables and large round tables with lazy susans perfect for sharing. We tried a variety of dishes, and most were excellent. The chicken fried rice was a crowd-pleaser, and the NE style crispy pork with peach sauce was a sweet and savory delight. The wok-fried chicken noodle with chestnut offered a unique texture, and the dry-fried string beans with pork were addictive (I could have easily finished a whole plate myself!). Now, onto the star of the show - the dumplings! The pork xiao long bao was a highlight, with flavorful broth and a perfectly cooked filling. The pork and crab and shrimp and loofah variations were delicious as well. The fish dumplings were a nice change of pace, and the shrimp and pork pot stickers were good but a bit oily. The shrimp and pork wontons in spicy sauce were a slight disappointment - they lacked the promised kick. On a sweet note, the piggy custard buns were a fantastic ending to the meal. The custard was perfectly smooth and sweet, a delightful way to finish. Overall, Din Ding Dumpling House offers delicious food in a lively setting. Just be prepared for a wait. But with fast service and a wide variety of dumplings and other dishes, it's definitely worth checking out!

Food there is pretty decent and much more affordable than Din Tai Fung. The braised beef noodle was just ok. The xlb was very juicy and I think this is the best. Service was pretty nice. The only issue is that their plates and utensils could be more clean.

We were looking for new places to try and came across this place on tiktok. It looks really good and we decided to take the 25 minute drive. Inside is beautiful and you’re greeted with a pretty waterfall. I liked the way of ordering which is just writing down what you want yourself on a paper menu. Food came out in an acceptable time. The chicken wings took the longest. once we ordered our food that was the first and last time our server came to our table. We needed napkins and couldn’t get their attention as they never looked our way. No one did a quality check and we had to get up and look for our own to go boxes. This place is great i think they just need to work on their service and implement some standards. I love their to go boxes by the way they are good quality. The food was delicious. My favorites were the chowmein and chicken wings. We came for the dumpling but were disappointed as the pork ones just tasted like american breakfast sausage. the string beans lacked flavor. The Mongolian beef was good. I wish they had a chicken entree available. Overall I would return and try new things on the menu.

After the first time I’ve been there a few weeks ago, my daughter wanted to go here again, this time we tried something new and we weren’t impressed with the new dishes. It was a hot day, the restaurant doesn’t have AC, this is bad, we’re expecting a nice cool environment and we got a warm and sweaty one with fans blowing hot air all around. I wad going to leave but my kids were lazy to choose a different restaurant. Hot and sour minced pork noodles soup, very sour, the pork meat even small chunks are tough to chew. The noodles are good as usual. Combination chow mein is extremely salty, even my son who likes salty food had to complain. My son pork shrimp and egg buns he said they’re good, I haven’t tried it because I’m not too crazy about buns. My Mongolian beef was also flavorful but salty too. I couldn’t believe a little rice now was $3.50. Shrimp and pork potstickers my son had to bring home because they’re not so great any more. This may be the last time I would come here. I would prefer Hongkong restaurant instead. With prices like these, AC is a must for a restaurant. A few weeks ago we went to Bing dumping, was a disappointment. Yesterday my daughter wanted to go to Din Ding Dumpling, so we went without my son because he didn’t like wonton in spicy sauce here. The place was so crowded on a Friday, we had to register on line for the waiting list and waited for 30 minutes. The parking lot is huge because sharing with market and many other businesses, we had to park far away from the restaurant. The restaurant is remodeled very nicely, airy and modern looking. Every party gets a takeout menu and a pencil to mark on what they want to order, this is quite efficient for waiting in line to be ready when seated. Everyone here is extremely helpful and efficient. The service is fast and attentive. The food is the reason why this place is crowded. It’s a full restaurant, not just dumping. All the dishes people ordered around us looked so delicious and inviting. We ordered brisket noodles for me and it warned only tendon and fat, but I like those. There’s no brisket meat at all but everything is so delicious, the soup is excellent and the little fat and tendon are tasty, the noodles are just right, love this bowl. My daughter loves to share this one too. My wife got the spicy chicken peanut noodles which was so tasty, although the chicken was shredded thin. The sauce and peanut are just right with the noodles. We all like this one. My daughter got her favorite spicy garlic beef noodles and we all love this one although there are only a few slices of meat, but the whole thing was delicious. The soup dumplings are tasty like other dumplings places, I’m not crazy about eating these because I have to put the whole bao in my mouth to prevent the soup from squirting out. The kids seem to like this. The spicy pork wontons that my son didn’t like and it tasted better than other place. They’re just wontons in hot sauce, they don’t do anything for me, just the kids. I would like to come back to try all the real dishes they offer on the menu although it seems this is a noodles and dumplings specifically. The sauces and noodles are so excellent here. The prices are reasonable except “where’s the beef”, but there’s the taste.

Food was ok, most of the waiters were rude, we barely finish eating our last bite, they were trying to take my plate away, and right after we finished, they gave us the check right away, not just that, me and my husband were still drinking our PAID hot tea, they keep coming back to check on our check if is ready or not...3 times!!! Come on! There's nobody waiting outside for table, why rush us? Even tho there are people waiting, they shouldn't do that to your customers, super rude! And also they were dropping things everywhere, a waiter drop a plate right next to my pant and spilled a little over my pant, without apologizing. And among their workers, they were yelling at each other, for what I don't know. Because I don't speak their language, atmosphere was just wrong and noisy. I don't think I will come back just because of their service.

We waited about 45 to 50 minutes, after we were 16th in line for a table for 2. The entire place was full but after dinner I couldn’t figure out why. The service was very rushed. We were motioned to our table with a nonchalant wave of the hand. The lemon they brought to the table still had the sticker on it. I had the shrimp and pork potstickers, the pork soup dumplings, and the bone in rib noodles. The rib was the best part of the whole meal. Very well done and seasoned very well. The noodles were good very thick and soft but the broth was very very lack luster. It brought the whole meal down. It was brown broth but it tasted like nothing. No flavor to it. We left it basically untouched, except for the rib. The potstickers were okay but the wrapper barely held together, falling apart shortly after moving it from the serving plate to my main plate. The soup dumplings were just okay as well. I have had soup dumplings elsewhere that I prefer. I thought they lacked seasoning. It was decent overall. Very hyped up to not impress me personally.

How do I start? I know this place has quite a reputation and social media presence. As someone who’ve made dumplings at one of the bay area’s top dumpling restaurants, they do have my utmost respect for the hard work that goes into making the quality of food that they bring to the table. The review is really for the store manager as we experienced an unpleasant dine-in. We sat and ordered couple of dumpling dishes late afternoon. Dumplings came out piping hot and we started eating. As we happily grazed various dumpling one by one, one of my companion’s gold crown came in contact with a calcified pork bone inside of the XLB that was sizable as the pre-kindergartner tooth. We have asked to speak to one of the available server. When we had explained that we found a bone in the food, and requested for a refund for the XLB dish . The server said they will let the kitchen know, and refused to do anything about it, although he was sorry that it happened. I have requested to talk to the manager, and he has revealed himself to be the manager. He said that since we have eaten almost all of the XLB, he couldn’t take it off. It was inside the 6th dumpling where the treasure was found. He said he was sorry but he couldn’t do anything about it. He also refused to take it off the bill because he had no authority do so as a manager. Awkward stand off situation continued as he kept closing his eyes and sighing throughout the conversation. He came back and forth, and by this time, customers around us saw what was happening. He mentioned that since it was not a health hazard and didn’t break our teeth, it was okay. He kept repeating that he couldn’t do anything about it and for us to maybe pay for the ones we did eat. We asked to speak to the boss who wasn’t available and I have asked to speak to him over the phone. The boss said that because we’ve eaten 5 pieces already, we needed to pay for the partial percentage. At this point, their professionalism and willingness to take any responsibility was nonexistent. Did you want us to pay 62.5% of the $13.95 dish? In the end, the boss reluctantly accepted the request and the manager did take it off the bill. Not only that, he put the check in the middle of the table while we still had two other dishes left. We then rose from our chairs and asked other server to take care of the check and quickly left. Servers, our tip was not a reflection of your service. You were attentive and we are grateful. Management, how you handled this situation, that was not OK. Bone in the dumplings… your store was the first. That was a negligence, and you don’t fix the quality of food by yelling at your kitchen staff. We shake our dust off our feet as we leave your premise tonight. Goodbye.
