Honestly I really dont eat kosher food, but this place is so good . I have a buisness in the neighborhood and always eat sushi at this place. It is always fresh and Yakov is always so good to me 5 stars. Try this place!

Awsome place to get delicious Kosher Chinese takeout for a great price. Had the Sceshuan Chicken, and the General Taos Chicken so far and they were great! Try it for yourselves lol

Wen it comes to Kosher chinese it’s either done right or wrong, there is no in between and this place does it right, I only had the lo mein. But it was excellent- perfect texture and authentic taste, will deff be back

It has been a while since one has been able to get a quality Kosher Chinese meal. Fortune has met that void since the closing of the once prominent Shang Chai in Brooklyn. The food is tasty. the employees and owner are quite friendly. The food is prepared rapidly and fresh. My family and I generally get their food at least once per week and have yet to be disappointed. With the generous portions there are usually leftovers as well!!!!

The best Chinese I've had so far. They do it exactly as you ask and prices are unbelievably reasonable considering it's kosher and the portions are huge. Took me two meals to finish. Highly recommend for those who really misses the taste of real Chinese food.

One of the best kosher Chinese food i had in a while I love this place. The people are nice and the delivery is fast. They really care about their regular customers and the food is good too. The menu is very vast so there's always something to pick out. Prices are also reasonable.

This is the 2nd time we ordered event food from Fortune in the last 3 months. Our Chanukrismawanzaa party was a smash hit with General Tso chicken, fried rice, mixed vegetables with garlic sauce and egg rolls. For our Valentine's Day event we ordered both chicken and beef with garlic sauce, vegetable lo mein and egg rolls. We received a full pan of vegetable fried rice also. The seniors went crazy. The food was colorful, nicely seasoned and vegetables and meat just right as far as texture. Again, the seniors oohed and aahed! So did staff and our visiting COO! The owner Yacob bent over backward to make sure we had what we needed. Even with a less than 3 day request for an order for 100 people. We had over ordered with a cashier over the telephone to the tune of 2k+, and he called to verify because we'd never order that high amount before. Who does that nowadays?! We will never cheat on Fortune again. The delivery young man is a cutie pie- more importantly, very friendly, helpful and mannerly. I’ve started eating kosher in the past year and struggled to find good kosher Chinese food. I don’t eat out often but I have a passion for sesame chicken with brown rice, I get it every week. When I ordered from Fortune, the staff was super friendly, the food came fast and I was so excited to find that finally I found amazing sesame chicken! Will be here again

The Chinese food at this takeout is served always hot and fresh. Waiting for an order is normally quick, it takes up to 5-15 min to be ready for pickup. I recommend to try out their lunch or dinner specials.

Good food, good price, just please pay more attention to customer request and notes for delivery. Multiple times I requested extra duck sauce and hot sauce but they failed to read the notes. Otherwise recommend go to place for kosher Chinese food.

After all the holiday cooking it is a relief to sit down with a Fortune Kosher take out meal! The food is always fresh, always high quality and always ready when promised! The order is always correct which is something that doesn't always happen at other places (who wants to go back to get a missing item?). Fortune Glatt Kosher Chinese is a great part of the Fresh Meadows/Jamaica Estates kosher community.

Great sushi, great service. It’s nice to know there is a great spot to have sushi in the Fresh Meadows/Jamaica Estates Area. All the rolls are excellent here which is why it is hard to single out one roll. The quality is great at an affordable price as well. Highly recommend.

I am not required to eat Kosher, but I decided to order from Fortune because I have heard nothing but good things. Fantastic customer service over the phone, quick service, and instead of asking me to walk to the gate, the food was delivered straight to my residence. I ordered wings and General Tso's chicken. Wings were meaty, saucy and very reasonably priced. Overall, generous portions for a very reasonable price!

Fortune is a great place to go if your hungry and in a rush. They have amazing specials and prices are crazy cheap. If you love to eat and if you dont like expensive chinese food thats not worth it go to fortune. (EAT HERE)

Just had a $20 order of sesame chicken, extremely disappointing, the chicken was really hard and flavor was ok, also the fried rice isn’t very good, was hard and lacking in any taste.

The food is good. The only problem i have which is a big problem is the delivery service. In certain areas they charge $25 delivery and my order only comes out to be $16 so if i am eating alone in my workplace then i have to order 2 dishes to make it come out to that price?!?!? It sounds more like a sneaky buisness ploy to make extra money and its an embarrassment on not only the company but the jewish people as well. all resturaunts that are owned by jewish people are over priced so now they over pricing there deliverysl service why because the driver is lazy or feels like his worth is not enough for the amount that he is getting in the first place. Your losing customers like that. Btw It is a 3-7 minute drive from the resturaunt to my house with or without traffic. I recoomend making your delivery service better if you guys want to grow higher in the years to come

40 minutes wait for takeout!! We got to the place at 7pm Sunday and placed our order for four dinners. At 7:25 I asked how much longer and was told 5 minutes. At 7:30 I was told they were packing it up. At 7:40 it was finally brought out to us.

Ive been ordering from this place for years. Over time, especially in 2021 food is bland and does not have a appetizing taste. I always kept coming back to order hoping food will get better but it hasn't. Not worth it. Also the portions are getting smaller.

No one but the chef was wearing a mask. Cashier and 2 of her friends hanging out there had no masks on. Definitely white people sushi. Rice was sooo dry and the fish made me feel a little sick. Won’t recommend.

My mother and God mother went in to order food and a sign that says all cash payments get 5% discount is hung up. So they paid cash and didn’t receive the discount when they asked why they didn’t get it she said “you didn’t ask for it” with an attitude… another customers food was ready she turned off the attitude and smiled giving the whole “hi Sam thank you have a good night” theirs came out and she goes “here” and just pushes it forward… after that they couldn’t enjoy the food so I can’t even say if it’s good or not they just kept thinking about how they were treated. Not how you treat people PAYING money to your establishment. Will not return.

Portions keep getting smaller, and prices keep getting higher. This was going on way before covid and has gotten worse since.

Really dissapointed with the customer service and care at this establishment. I am gluten free and tried calling this restaurant to see if they have any gluten free options, to which they cut me off and said no not even bothering to try offer alternatives or substitutions. I proceeded to call 3 other kosher Chinese restaurants in Queens ALL of which were able to offer me substitutions or items from their menu.

Wretched. I was in the mood for dumplings - so I ordered one order of steamed chicken dumplings and one order of the beef. Both were unappetizing, but the beef dumplings were so gross, that I ate only one and threw the rest in the trash. Really wonderful Chinese dumplings are made with dough that's thin and delicious and a filling that's bursting with moisture and flavor. These were the opposite. The tough was about half an inch thick and the filling was nasty. These dumplings are a cruel hoax on Chinese people and all their ancestors. That being said, I went to the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and there was plenty of parking.

Over cooked fried rice. If u can call is fried rice. Steam rice, no vegetables in vegeatabkefeied rice. Eggplant garlic sauce.. under cooked with wunderkind cook green beans, broccoli garlic sauce.. over cooked. This is not a chinese restaurant, it's a wanna be. Plus way overpriced. Stick with ur local spot and don't try this place

Literally waited over an hour. After I called to confirm there was no delay . Was assured 15 minutes. Food also sucked like last time they messed up my order. Literally never coming back.

THE worst Chinese food I ever had in my life. Everything had the same disgusting smell that I can't even compare to anything. Everyhting was so dry that required liquid to go further down the troath or risk choking! Had to spit out last bite of FIRST slice of scallion pancakes because it was sooooo bad. I ordered about 2 hours ago from Grubhub wasted a good amount of money and even tip more than decently for delivery driver calling the number on Grubhub it doesn’t work after that searched the phone number on google called it and no one picked up I understand there is a snow storm going on but if you are not willing to take the order then don’t accept it!!

I am in the dog house with my mother because I picked up food from here. Vegetables were badly cooked and no flavor either. Unsure why the reviews were so good. We are not Kosher so we were comparing to other Chinese spots in general, this place is not good. Maybe other reviews are better bc it is a Kosher spot and no others to compare to.

I have ordered my meals many times from this take out place and I keep going back to see if anything changes but it doesn't. The first time I ordered my meal I was very satisfied, so next time when I had some people over I went there again, but though this time when I placed a big order I found a lot of hair in my meals and in the seasame chicken 75% of the dish was fried flower. Then, I came again for the last time and my order was messed up and when I called them to confront them about the mistake over the phone I heard the person I was speaking to say, "she is complaining" and the person who was next to her said "just hang up" and next thing I know they dropped the phone on me. I wasted money on that meal and they can't even own up to their mistakes. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Honestly, when I saw 4 stars I was really surprised. Cause this place don't worth even a one. First thing I thought, when I saw my order, that person who cook it NEVER SAW CHINISE FOOD BEFORE!!! I'm ordered Tso tofu and fried rice. Tofu was fried right from the package without any previous breading. No seasoning no vegetables just a tone of sweet sauce from Restaurant depot. Fried rice... was not fried at all. Cheap boiled rice with turmeric, old frozen peas and raw onions can't be called a "fried rice". My friend ordered a chicken with BBQ sauce which was delivered raw too and with trace of feather in it. In general, never thought that food can be so neglected. Hope this place will go out of business soon and can't poison anyone.

Absolutely scummy business. I ordered 12 piece wings and received 6 wings that were cut in half which they counted as 12. This is an insult to customers thinking that they are dumb enough not to notice. Will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague!

I ordered food on doordash. I got 2 lunch specials, and 3 sushi rolls. When the order arrived, only 4 of the items was given and one of the rolls was not prepared. We were charged for everything though. I called the restaurant and the lady that answered was nice but all she can offer was giving credit. The credit was given by telling me to place an order in the future and to call the restaurant to give one roll for free but theres no proof of the given credit. We then tried the food, but the food smelled and tasted spoiled. We called doordash to get a refund for the order, but they also said no because there is no proof. Do not recommend ordering from here. Not only was an item missing from what I ordered and I was charged, but also the food was spoiled. Others had a similar experience in the reviews.

If you want your order correct, not here. They will mess up somehow and to top it off, they won't even apologize. If you order 12 piece chicken wings, they will give you 6 pieces and charge for 12. And the wings are over fried in bad oil. Not good place to order. Go elsewhere
