Came in with my mom during a trip to LA for a quick bite and drink before heading into the park. Our Server Meghan was amazing, her attentiveness and care made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. We loved the Salmon and the Margarita Flight as recommended by Meghan. Recommend this spot for anyone coming to City Walk before a night at the park.

Unironically the cheeseburger in paradise tacos (which are on the happy hour menu!) are incredible. Vibes are immaculate, I don’t think the tables are tho so wouldn’t eat off them like some people I know….. service was awesome, they played some Lenny kravitz which was cool but I think wanted some Jimmy buffet. Come here, be merry, show your toes (although it was kinda cold) and eat some tacos made of cheeseburger. This is the American dream! Wagon wheel

We watched a video by Eddy Burback where he went to every Margaritaville, so when we saw it we were like, yo! Let's go!! Our server Alec was awesome- like literally the sweetest guy! He really made the experience!! Food was pretty good (maybe made better by being super exhausted?), and the Havanas and Bananas drink was dope. Thanks for recommending it, Alec!!!!

My boyfriend and I just wanted a little bite to eat so we stumbled upon the city walk jimmy buffets! we split a burger and a chicken quesadilla at the bar. I’m not joking when I say this was the best burger I’ve had in a moment. LA is full of “smash” burgers but this thick juicy burger was the mommeenntt! Chicken quesadilla was so juicy and perfect! can’t wait to visit again!

At first, I wasn't going to give this place 5 stars. The menu is very simple and short. But the food is delicious! And the staff was very friendly and attentive, but not overly so. Plus, that blender cup margarita is so good! Now, I'm a kid from the 80's, but I've heard the song plenty of times, but I was still expecting a more Mexican style menu. Really, it's burgers, fish tacos, one chicken breast dish, a couple simple salads and fish and chips with an array of appetizers and a drink menu bigger than the food menu. The portions are surprisingly big, however, and very yummy. Plus, the atmosphere is fun! I'm not sure we'll go back because of the limited menu, but if you love what they offer as your normal go to dishes, you'll love it here! Plus, it was super clean.

A quick margarita hit the spot on the way out of Islands of Adventure after a long day of walking and enjoying rides. Very friendly staff.

Highly recommend the burgers and of course the drinks especially the MOJITO! Appetizers weren't impressive...dont recommend the fried pickles or the chips and Guacamole since they really weren't worth the price. The kids meal was moderate but the burgers is what will bring me back!

Stopped in for some margaritas after strolling through the Universal City Walk mall. Really good margaritas! (Would have been highly disappointed if they weren't, considering the name!) I had the Cadillac margarita, which was really good. Looking for something else to try, huge shout out to Devin the bartender for pointing me towards a Spicy Cadillac! The Tajin seasoning on the outside and the jalapenos took the drink to the next level. Highly recommend!

All the other Universal Studios restaurants had an hour wait for a party of 14. Margaritaville was the only restaurant that could get us in sooner. The service was great. We loved our waiter Hunter he was on it, was quick, remembered everything given the size of our party. The food was ok, didn't care for the margaritaville flight, and all drinks were too sweet.

Friendly staff. Very warm and welcoming. Our server was attentive yet not overbearing. We had spinach dip. I would highly recommend that appetizer. For entrees, I ordered the wedge salad with blackened salmon. My salad was missing the bacon crumbs and my salmon was overcooked and dry. My son order the volcano burger, rare. The burger was fully cooked. The attention to detail on customer order is lacking. Also, the person was eager to clean up after us and pickup the tab book. Mind you, we were still sitting down. The place wasn't packed however, I felt rushed. Not sure if I'd go back.

This is not Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville.... this is just a franchise created by Universal that's different. The drinks were really good and Will, our server, made the whole experience very fun, but unfortunately I was not impressed with the food and wouldn't want to go back. The fish was extra salty and ALL the food we had really lacked flavor. It's absolutely not worth the money and doesn't have the same menu as all other locations. If we had realized that this one was different we wouldn't have driven way out of the way to it, it was definitely a let down. But all the service staff was very nice and we really appreciated that aspect of our experience.

So after a long day at Universal Studios, there's not many restaurant options without a long wait. We picked Margaritaville, no wait to be seated. Don't waste your time or money here. The drinks were pretty watered down. The club sandwich came out with rotten cucumbers in the side salad. When we addressed that issue, the waitress just shrugged us off. My Cuban sandwich was burnt, and I mustered a couple of bites. But I had to return it. The fries were decent. Overall, I'm just disappointed with the food.

The Only Real Trinity

Went to go to the movies tonight and decided to get a drink and a bite to eat before going. Thought we would try out Margaritaville. We were going to sit at a table, but decided to sit up at the bar. Literally waited about 15 minutes for the bartender. While we waited, we literally watched her during those 15 minutes speaking to it look like someone who worked there, but was sitting at the bar. She finally come around and ask us what we wanted to drink. We ordered a drink, and that literally took another 5-10 minutes. Mind you the bar was not busy at all. Then I decided to just order one thing to start off because I was already not enjoying my time. I ordered the lava lava shrimp. It was more like salt salt, shrimp. Again, I literally waited another 15 minutes for someone to come back around so that I can tell them that I could not even bear to eat it because it was that salty. Of course, the bartender was still talking to the boy that was at the bar. There were other bartenders around and every time I went to say excuse me they walk right off. By time our actual bartender came to us she was like how is everything and of course in my mind I’m like “Well you could’ve asked that a while ago”. I told her that the shrimp was way salty and she was nice enough to take that off so that was the great thing. Because of the experience, I didn’t bother getting anything else. We ended up leaving and going and eating somewhere else. Do I recommend this place? No, unfortunately I do not maybe other people might have a better experience than I did. Besides the lack of customer service, the food that I did have was too much to even give this a recommendation.
