We didn't expect to enjoy it as much as we did, but all three rides ended up being worthwhile! Without timed entry tickets, we woke up early and rushed to make it before opening time, however as of this past weekend, no timed entry was actually required throughout the whole day – not sure if it was a rare exception or a permanent change. This meant we didn't actually have to go so early but still, was fun to see the area with fewer crowds. The best ride is definitely the new cart one, with mario as an iconic second.

Cannot say enough good things about Super Nintendo world. Did some research before we came here. Highly recommend buying the bracelets, otherwise there isn’t much to do here unfortunately. And these are an additional $44 per bracelet! But with them and downloading the app it made for a super fun experience for both the kids and adults, only bought them for the kids. Also made reservations for the toadstool cafe as soon as we entered the park. Wasn’t too busy but can be. Unless you’re a super fan then it would be ok skipping out on this one. Unfortunately no real menu for the kids. Spaghetti and a cheeseburger were all they offered and we had a picky eater. Wish they had pizza or chicken. But the food overall was amazing portions and even better flavor! The restaurant was alot of fun with little screens and stuff to look at, very clean. Would not return, but would recommend.

The number one attraction in universal where you can buy early access tickets. Clearly very well designed it’s like you really did walk into the world of super Mario, an absolute must visit. The ride itself is mediocre though the detail in the queue is the most detailed and amazing I’ve ever seen. Great place for pictures, there is also a cafe with mediocre food some places to interact using the wrist band.

If you are able to go to the Burbank area, PLEASE book yourself an entire day at Super Nintendo World, and bring lots of spending money. It's something my husband and I have been planning to do for over a year, and we finally went to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary. Right when you enter the attraction, you will be immediately greeted with a true-to-the-video-game scenery, sights, and sounds! I would recommend buying a Power-Up Band so you can interact with the world, especially all the Hidden Blocks and Blocks around the park (your interactions will be logged in the Universal app!). Our favorite part of the theme park was going to the Toadstool Cafe! To get a reservation, there is a geo-locked QR code that is only available at the location; the restaurant fills up quickly, so make sure you snag a reservation and eat some Fire Flower Spaghetti and Mt. Bean Pole Cake! We will definitely be coming back in the future, and will probably bring a couple of our friends!

Toad is my favorite I love toad. Mario kart was fun but not worth 2 hour wait. Very cool place and if you see the tiny details it will be so so cool. It was so cool and inspiring seeing all of the Mario themed stuff. Kinda expensive too though.

My child convinced me earlier in the year to come to LA and visit here. Having shown me many YouTube in advance, I did not experience the sticker shock or surprise related to the power up bands or how it all worked there. The Toadstool Cafe (once I realized one could reserve a time) was also really nice (I had the Mario Burger). The lineups for Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad were usually pretty good (opened about 20 minutes before the time and closed when full). The Bowser Mario Kart ride was a lot of fun as well as the other activities. We came on a Tuesday (not overly busy) and Thursday (moderately busy). My child absolutely loved it (and persuaded me to get far too many toys at the One-Up Factory)

This was our first experience going through Nintendo Mario bowers challenge ride. I am little disappointed with the heavy weight of overhead 3d glasses and the helmet combo. You cannot keep for it more than 5 mins and it starts hurting your neck and back immediately. That kind of spoiled the experience.

Very surreal area in Universal. Bought the early access pass, so we got in an hour early. I'd suggest saving your single fast pass ride (if that's the package you buy) for another ride later in the day. Didn't need to use it here first thing in the morning.

It was the longest wait for the entire visit in this park! Mario cart was fun but my helmet was wobbly so I couldn't focus on target as much. Make sure your 3D helmet ⛑️ is tight on you at least while you are on the ride! :) Cheers 🥂

It's unique & visit worthy, especially for taking pictures with gamer fans & kids. We waited 55 minutes for the ride which was a lot of fun. We got a reservation by scanning the bar code outside Toadstool Cafe (recommended early) & were pleasantly surprised by the food quality once inside. There is a fabulous souvenir store to browse around. Even though it was always crowded to capacity & maybe not the greatest thing ever, we still enjoyed having the opportunity to visit the Nintendo attraction @ USH.

This area was fun, it can take over 3 hrs of your time if you buy the band. The ride is definitely not worth waiting 2 hrs, but it is a good experience. If you have the express pass there is usually zero wait. If you have the band, you can get coins and keys to go defeat bowser jr.

My first time after the launch of Nintendo world. Amazing world created for kids and Mario fans. The ride itself is a lot of fun esp the tech used with glasses. Because of working day and post spring break week, it was a 5 mins wait time in the morning hours on the ride. My complain is, the band that you need to buy for points is expensive (around $45), shouldn’t be more than 19.99 in my opinion.

My biggest complaint is that they don't have unpaid bag or drink storage at 99% of the rides in US so we repeatedly found ourselves sitting one person in the party out while we rode because the cost of one-time use lockers was ridiculous (Super Nintendo World was no exception). Universal Studios has two interactive areas of the park that are initially fun but overall disappointing and ridiculously expensive: the magic wands inside of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the power up bands in Super Nintendo World. The power up bands (decorated slap bracelets.. see picture) were priced at $42 a piece (also not refundable). I recommend trying one out before you buy one for everyone in your family, they open up a game on your US app (can also be accessed on the large screens inside the area) that enables you to collect coins from hitting bricks and stickers (achievements) for doing things inside the land. There are virtual keys you can collect from playing mini games that will allow you to ride the final ride where you defeat Bowser Jr and honestly it was all kind of fun... when it worked. They had technical issues both days we came that didn't ruin the experience but it did take some of the fun out of the achievements. Overall the rides were fun, if the technology was more reliable I'd have given the area a 5/5.

The worst ride in the park waited 100 minutes, and the rides was just a horrible confusing mess. People coming off were all saying the same thing " Well, that was not worth it" Really, i would avoid and I never want to ride this again even with a 15 minute wait.
