This unique venue was the perfect spot to host our collective big 6-0 birthday bash “safari style” with high school friends and beauties! The family style menu was mouth watering and the s’mores for dessert was delightful! The staff and service was impeccable! Thank you!

We spent New Years Eve in one of the tents and had a really good time. It was a set menu with many good choices of food and drink, our waitress was great, and the music had not started yet so we could hear each other and talk comfortably! I highly recommend - we’re already planning to go back next year!

Husband found this place for my birthday dinner because it was really nice and aesthetic and He knows I love such places. did a really good job there ! We came for the happy hour because the website mentioned some discounts on the entree items and were a little disappointed that discounts were only on some of the appetizers and the website had not been updated. That said, the food really was amazing! Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich & Fries (With alabama white sauce, hot honey, coleslaw, pickles, brioche bun, pickle spear) What an amazing beautiful sandwich! That hot chicken with the hot honey and that sauce.. Just everything in there was perfect together. I've already messy Burger as well for a messy eater like me, but totally worth it! Fries were also lovely and crunchy on the side and actually went amazing with the hot sauce instead of the ketchup! Definitely recommend. Barbecue Chicken Flatbread (grilled BBQ chicken, mozzarella, red onions, cilantro) Another wonderful creation here. Perfect amount of all the toppings on there. The cilantro was a really unexpected touch that we had never had before but it went so well together. Added some crushed chili flakes for a little extra pizzazz and it was perfect! Cast Iron Cookie (chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream) They brought it for us on the house because it was my birthday... Really kind of them. Let's say this cookie was so good, We wanted another one! Warm and soft and gooey and went perfectly well with that ice cream.

Celebrating a 50th birthday is a special milestone. The food was a delightful highlight of the evening, offering delicious flavors and satisfying portions. The cast iron chicken was superb. Try it. I am telling you it is the best. While the service felt a bit rushed, it's understandable that occasional busy periods can occur. Our server's dedication was evident despite seeming overwhelmed. The overall experience was positive enough to warrant a return visit in the future.

We really enjoyed our dinner really great food and service. We had the cauliflower and carrots for appetizers. Salmon and chicken were incredible as main dishes. Remaining with the restaurant’s theme,, we ordered the s’mores for dessert.

Our group of 9 enjoyed one of the tents, making our experience unique with a bit of a rustic camping feel. Great menu, variety of appetizers, salads, and mains. Two of our favorites were the ceviche and the fried chicken sandwich. Full reserve wine list available from the sister restaurant. The table top s’mores were the highlight!

I highly recommend this place for a cozy romantic dinner. We got to celebrate our friend proposal and the owner Alex was very friendly and tried to accommodate our table and get us the tent to make the surprise even better. he kept checking on us to make sure everything was good, the food was amazingly cooked. lovely night at the restaurant in the heart of north park

This was the first place we came to after landing in San Diego for our family's spring break vacation. My husband thought he made a reservation, and we called to let the restaurant know we were running a bit late. Turns out he accidentally made a reservation for the sister restaurant. The manager over the phone was really kind and assured us it happened frequently (so note: make sure you are making a reservation at the correct restaurant, they are on the same Open Table page, so it is really easy to make a mistake!). We noticed the server was handling a really large section, but they did so without missing a note. The food was excellent, the atmosphere is unique and fun. I ordered the short rib pasta, and my six-year-old kept sneaking bites. She had ordered the kids Mac & cheese and loved it. We find that kids Mac & cheese usually lacks flavor, or looks eerily similar to the stuff from the blue box. However, her Mac & cheese had layers of flavor and was delish. My husband ordered the burger, and though it was a touch cold (likely from seeming to be a touch understaffed) he said at the end of the trip it was top three dishes he had all week. Our kids loved the s'mores dessert. It was the best way to start our spring break vacation.

What a wonderful dining experience at One Door North! We sat at the bar and the bartender was amazing. We took his recommendations on starters which were incredible and the craft cocktails were tasty & fun! We split the entree is that too was amazing. The atmosphere, the staff and the ambiance were all top notch! Highly, highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a 5 star experience!

We had our holiday get together luncheon yesterday. There were 14 of us so we reserved the Wine Room. It was perfect size for our group and we had privacy. We order mimosa with orange, passion fruit, and cranberry juices. We had 2 each of 4 different starters, their 4 different flatbreads, and the s’mores platter for dessert. We love everything that we ordered. Our server, Chad, and the other staff are so warm, friendly, and helpful. We had a great time and highly recommend this place.

From the moment I walked in I realized I was going for a unique experience. So many people where there. Seemed like the right place to go with hubby on Valentines Day. The beets salad was super tangy. A little bit too much for me. I loved that beets were in it though with the crunchiness of the kale was a treat. Then, was the salmon and mashed potatoes that were so nicely paired with the passionfruit drink. Yum! Loved the goat cheesecake. Thankful for Jardín who was a hostess helped out in the front. We appreciate you for taking pictures of us in the winter wonderland.

I had dinner at One Door North and it was a really unique dining experience. The restaurant has a fun outdoor adventure theme, with cozy tents, lanterns, and greenery that make it feel like you’re dining at an elegant campsite. The atmosphere is lively but still relaxed, perfect for a casual night out with friends. The food was excellent—modern American comfort dishes with a creative twist. I especially liked the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and truffle fries, which were packed with flavor. The craft cocktails were also well made and paired perfectly with the meal. The menu focuses on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, which keeps the dishes fresh and interesting. Overall, One Door North is a memorable spot in North Park. The creative setting, great food, and fun atmosphere make it a place I’d definitely come back to

I’ve been wanting to check this place out for a while and glad I finally did. Reservations were super easy to make the day of. Found street parking a block away. We were the first people when they opened and the place is so cute! We picked a corner table and settle in to try to decide what the get off the menu because everything sounded so good. Appetizers we got were the French onion soup and pretzel. Both were amazing! Entrees were honey short ribs and my boyfriend said they were very tender and delicious. I had the gnocchi and it was so good! We also ordered 4 different cocktails over the course of our meals and they were all very good. No room for dessert but the s’mores dessert looked so cute! I knew I would be writing a review and sending this to my friends even before leaving. Highly recommend!

What truly elevated the experience was Shareen. Her service was beyond reproach. She was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. She made the evening feel effortless and special, the kind of service that stays with you long after the meal. Whether you are planning a group dinner or looking for a spot that works just as well for an intimate date night, One Door North hits that rare balance. Comfortable, charming, and worth discovering.

Cool restaurant in North Park. Decor makes it feel somewhat like you're eating outdoors. We were a large group and sat in the back where the tents are located. Food was really good. I will be coming back.

Delicious food and atmosphere! Kudos to the chef’s mouthwatering masterpiece. Service has to improve though! We had to look for our server to order after 35 minutes of sitting. When we were ready for our bill our server was walking by our table and my friend grabbed her attention, mind you they were face to face and the server completely ignored her. The family next to us told us that we have to be proactive with our orders. If the restaurant is understaffed , give grace and make sure servers have the help they need.

Very nice place love the outdoorsy vibe. Fireside Tahona cocktail is a must have. The calamari was tender and crisp the batter was flavored well. Loved the brussel sprouts and the mini corn muffins were amazing. The macaroni and cheese and honestly mostly everything but especially the macaroni and cheese excluding the muffins was a bit too salty and I don't shy away from salt. The wait staff was very attentive for the most part very welcoming very nice. I thought parking was going to be difficult but to my surprise it was not that might have been in part because it was a Thursday. I enjoyed the burger and fries as well super juicy even well done again fries were salty but still enjoyable. I would definitely love to go back definitely for some more Fireside Tahonas, Brussels, calamari and mini muffins.

Food was excellent, but the service really let the place down. Despite having a reservation, still had to wait 25 minutes for our table. Our first round of drink didn’t come until our entrees came out so the bar mush have been backed up. Our server never checked on us after the food was served and only at the very end when we decided it was time to go. If they can improve the service, this place has good potential.

we had high expectations as this restaurant was highly recommended. Unfortunately our food was not great. All entrees were served lukewarm to cold. Took almost 10 minutes for our server to come back so we could get our daughter’s ice cold Mac and cheese heated up. The s’mores board was literally a kit I could buy at Safeway for $5. The Hersheys bar was still wrapped. For the price and this place I would have expected a more elevated experience - maybe make your own graham crackers or marshmallows at the very least. All the thought is in the atmosphere and the food not so much.

Cute spot, nice decor, good service. Food and cocktails are just ok. The elote cauliflower tasted nothing like elote. The short rib dish was too salty for our taste. Fries were good. Chicken fingers for the kids were good. Cornbread muffins were good. As a foodie, this wouldn't be my first choice in terms of quality and creativity for the high cost. If it were a lower price point, it may make sense to return regularly.

None of the food blew me away. We had the brussel sprouts (good choice), calamari (ok, crispy but nothing special), sausage kale flatbread (lacked flavor but crust was good), and the butternut squash mac and cheese (bland, watery, wouldn't get again, creme fresh added nothing). The mac and cheese came out cold and was served on a cast iron pan that was not heated. We told the waitress and she helped rectify the situation. That was appreciated. We had four drinks. 3 were good and 1 not great. But overall they were fine. Overall this place was just ok. It felt like they were short staffed. Our waiter was also the bartender and we could see at times he was a little overwhelmed.

I really can’t comment on the food because we never received the food. Ordered the flat iron steak medium rare after 45 minutes they informed me it was out and they received another steak from their sister restaurant and it will come out soon. 45 minutes later it finally came out. We refused it and left. They cleared the bill. Giant waste of time best anniversary ever 🤣 I hope the owner sees this and is embarrassed and angry. That being said the Christmas Trees are a super nice touch of ambiance. Instagram probably loves this place. It’s the most positive thing I can say about that experience.
