Love an El pollo loco chicken breast with the avocado salsa! Sides are great to, but it's hard to find healthy fast food that tastes this good. EPL always send to have great customer service too!

Always clean, delicious and great service! No one is perfect and if something is not correct-picky kids, they'll replace it! I've been going to Pollo Loco since I was 18...

I love el Pollo Loco, especially the double chicken tosatad salad no guacamole, or sour cream. Then it's really good.

Busy, but didn't take long for food to be ready. Good service, nice lunch. I had the new birria tacos and loved them, consommé was on point.

The staff is very friendly at this location, the salsa bar was clean and stocked. The menu and food is usually the same as other locations but these little things make a difference in the experience.

I love the chicken bowl. I wish they still offered black beans. I wish they had thick, chunky guacamole there's is like soup.

At first my eyes hurt with the Bright colors but then as I wiped my eyes clean my vision showed me a wonderful display of the new yeezy season clothing and I’m glad I was able to make it in to this pollo Loco as they had models displaying the new clothing. I really like how the clothes seems as if it has been worn already, I think Kanye did a great job with this collection.

Tacos al carbon. Need I say more? They are the best thing on the menu hands down! This location does not skimp on the chicken or salsas. You should definitely stop by

It’s unusual to find fast-food place whose manager creates a happy, friendly mood for his/her employees as well as customers. What a pleasant surprise! I’ll be making an effort to go out of my way, if necessary, to visit this location in the future.

The chicken here was cooked just the way I like it! It had that beautiful dark brown skin and fell off the bone while eating it without issue. The worker honored my expired coupon and I my family had a wonderfully, tasty meal at a fraction of the cost. Id definitely go back here again without question, especially if the chicken is made the same. Yummy!!!

Amazing service! Had an issue with how an associated treated me as a walk up guest and the manager immediately addressed it when I informed her at the drive-thru window. She put special care into making sure I had a peace of mind my food was prepared correctly. I visit this location often so I'm happy to see they care.

This place was so good I wish I would of come sooner. The young man behind the counter paid very good attention to detail. The place was packed of course, I had no problem getting my food or service! There was a mess on the floor from someone else's baby. But that was fine because I got my food; Hot, fast & fresh. They had all the different sides in a bar free for they're customers. And at a fair price too! I will be back!

El Pollo Locos can be hit or miss but this one is a hit. The restaurant is clean, the staff are attentive, friendly, and quick. The prices are cheap. The menu has many items and sides so its not difficult to find something for everyone. I definitely recommend this place.

With their $5 value menu and tasty chicken, this place is quick, convenient, and tasty! Try the nachos, it's great with their chicken, the $5 chicken bowls are definitely worth it. Also - give their Tinga Burrito a try, taste better than other similar burritos we've paid twice as much for!

I love thier food always taste great I had the Street tacos El Carbon, N beans on the side, they were fresh hot. The lines are usually long, but it moves pretty quick.

This El Pollo Loco was way better than the one I usually go to. The food tasted a lot better and the service was good. It was also more spacious than other locations.

Food was great, service was great. it was very clean and our food came out fast, fresh, and hot. the cashier carlos was very friendly and went above and beyond to help us find the item we were looking for on the menu.

Update 12/23. What a difference a year makes. They have gotten MUCH better. The guys who work there are friendly, and they've been getting the orders correct 100% of the time and the no more burned chicken. Their menu is still more expensive than down the hill, but so is everything else on the mountain... I'm still bummed that they don't offer the holiday pazole soup.

We ordered online for pick-up and when I went inside I was greeted right away. They confirmed my order and got it to me quickly. I was impressed how well their staff communicated and coordinated the multiple orders they were prepping. It was much cleaner than the location off of Central Ave. This will be my new go-to location.

El Pollo is one of our favorite travel food stops and we often pick a stop based on the presence of an El Pollo Loco. The flame-cooked chicken is outstanding, and the pinto beans simple with a slightly spicy excellent taste. Great choice for a great tasting meal that's healthy too!

Very good location. Best Chicken Tortilla Soup out of all other El Pollo Loco locations in the area. I'm not sure why the Chicken Tortilla Soup tastes different at each El Pollo Loco location, but if you want Chicken Tortilla Soup get it at this location!

This is Truly one of my Favorite El Pollo Loco!!! Everytime I come here everyone is super friendly today when Blanca took my order she was extremely nice and she answered all of questions and even gave me recommendations!! When it was time to get my food I went to the pick up counter and they way the girl ( I didn't get her name ) displayed my food was so nice she laid everything out perfectly I was so sad to tell her my order was to go because it looked amazing but she was so nice about making sure it was packed nicely to go!!! This truly is a great fast and friendly location they are very accommodating they know how to give Great Customer Service!!! Thank you again for always making sure I have a wonderful experience!!! Clean location with great service. It's a very popular place for the locals to eat at. There's always a line at night after work in school. It's conveniently located besides Bank of America and Albertsons and other shopping areas. Nice place to sit down and enjoy your meal vs wait in the drive through line.

I love the atmosphere of this place, the place settings are simple yet elegant. The patio area is beautiful, if you are here when it's cold they have heaters so you can enjoy the outside without freezing. The food (looking at the burritos) is surprisingly filling and great tasting and the chips that come along with it on the combo are nice and crispy. I've been here a few times now and I just am surprised of why I never came before, great atmosphere and good food. If I had one thing to criticize that would be the bathrooms, I wish it would follow the updated look of the whole restaurant. I really recommend you coming here if you haven't in a long time it's refreshing.

Tried the new chicken and steak burrito box. Pleasantly surprised with the quality of food in the box. Both burritos were tasty and fresh.

They replaced the Chicken Tinga burrito with a queso burrito. It's not a good, but it was filling.

Clean,welcoming,however 2 visits as I watch others obtain their foods, ive had to ask where my order was,and I believe from the reactions and prompt making of my order, I had been for gotten. I used the app and ordered to go and picked up my order which was waiting for me.

I like chicken. I like El Pollo Loco. Update 3/23/24: the chicken is still tasty although the pieces seemed small and a little dry. As far as sides, they eliminated corn on the cob a long time ago. Black beans are also gone. I chose broccoli which is served rather dry. You can't even get butter anymore. I suppose that's why they eliminated corn on the cob...that HAS to have butter. As for atmosphere, the music is too loud but it's continuously accompanied by the sound of the cleaver chopping chickens.

Much healthier than hamburger & fries. We rarely go out to eat but this is one go to place when ya just don't feel like cooking. Good social distancing & mask policy, no inside dining now & drive thru open of course.

I always get a double chicken salad. The food is fresh and tasty, especially when you add cilantro dressing. I was disappointed with my order taker. I paid with cash, but for some reason, the display did not show the amount of change that I was to receive. As such, my order taker had to ask his manager for help with giving me back the correct change. The problem is, the my order taker was at least 20 years old. My point is, that parents need to get their kids off of video games. Parents, you're creating children that can't do the most simple tasks in a real world situation. And this kid is supposed to vote?????

They can do it better

Burritos were on point! Great price, fresh ingredients, and good flavor. Their pico de gallo is my favorite, so fresh and just the right amount of heat. The chicken is yummy but the shrimp stuff isn't as flavorful as the chicken tho. Worth a shot. Also if you download their app you get points and free stuff!

Probably the best fast food you can buy. Taste is very consistent. No matter which one you go to. Service is always the same which I would say is fair. Cleanliness always vary depending on what city you're in. This particular one is always cleaner than others. Very good menu selection. The secret is to ask for jalapeno packets. I don't know why you can buy 10 items of food, and they always want to give you four packets. If you keep asking for more, they usually give it to you. I really do like El Pollo Loco food.

The staff are eficiente and good service: however, the dinning area was not kept up and tables were dirty including fountain area and floor. Management needs to be on top of this.

Service is a little slow and there's always a giant line for the drive thru, but the chicken is well-seasoned and the salsa fresh. As long as they don't "char" (a.k.a. BURN) the chicken, it's good.

Menu is getting bigger and bigger. In this case bigger is not better. In several occasions they got the order wrong. Wrong size, wrong combination, different food. Salsas are a very bad joke, the main ingredient in their salsas is water. They do not have lemon!

I don't know when El Pollo loco became as busy as in and out but as a busy person, I really need to have my order right and timely. So I waited in line for a very long time and I didn't get my full order but I don't have time to return and so I'm pretty much irritated about that the food is definitely delicious it is the order that you asked for

The service was okay. I wait a little bit to get my food. The place is little dirty the tables and chairs. The neighborhood is good. The price is high. Not too hard to find the place. The parking is not the greatest need more parking. The food was good. They need to cook the chicken a little bit more.

Today was not a good day for them 25 minutes pass my pick up time. My order was severely messed up. But the food they did give me did taste good.

I purchased two combos chicken bowls and when I got home it was all soap with beans and rice and three or four pieces of chicken not happy at this one and I've been going there for a long time love the food but the service was real bad this time we expect to get what we pay for whether it's a $3 or a $20 meal they still shouldn't be so tight with their food and this is what's going on all over the United States nobody gets what they pay for anymore it's really unfortunately it's about agreed I guess

Customer service is bad. I requested tortillas, there were not in my order. I specifically asked for 4 house salsa and 4 green and I only got 3. Older lady at the window has not a good friendly service.

Waited in the drive thru for a little while. I asked how much was it for extra cilantro dressing and was told it was no charge. Got home and opened one and noticed a watery, less than half filled container. I hope they even used water to dilute both containers. I feel sick to my stomach.

Common el pollo loco we can do better.

The chicken was burned on our 3 tostadas and was mostly lettuce. The beans rice and salsa were practically invisible. What a waste of $9.50 per person!

You guys blew it tonight - Garbage Been coming to this El Pollo for many years (Upland Colonies), the chicken we have ordered has always been fresh and tender, very tasty, and the service always prompt and friendly. Tonight, Sunday, 12/10/23, yes quite busy, but it took me 15-20 minutes to get my 2 ala carte chicken breasts. Then, when I got them home, they were tough, undercooked or not marinated, so tough we threw about 50% away. Feel bad about our favorite food stop... Will have to give Juan Pollo in downtown Upland a try....

Food is good. Problem I have is consistency of service at drive thru window. Recently on two consecutive visits food items were missing from my bag. It's frustrating because there were no long lines...I was the only vehicle in line! How does this happen!

Last time, chicken, more like Cornish game hen. A dab of salad dressing on the salad. They give you salsa you don't want and not what you need.

The new nachos were terrible. The double chicken nachos need real cheese, not the thousand island Santa Fe style looking sauce that was used. The nachos need salsa, more chicken, and beans. I left half of the chips that were almost entirely clean, untouched by any of the other ingredients. Taco Bell's Nacho Supreme is much better (and that's saying something).

So disappointed in this place because it is so convenient to where I am located but every time I visit there's always an issue with the food or the staff. I ordered the chicken nacho platter and it was just terribly soggy and tasteless, other times I have ordered chicken dinner meals with sides and the chicken is either burnt or overcooked and dry. Staff constantly being replaced not sure what's going on but I wish somebody would get it together because this would really be a go-to for me if they can get their food right.

For the third time they missed something I ordered and PAID for. This time after receiving my order I checked and saw they did not give me my churros. I returned, showed my receipt and waited while she filled several other orders then had to prepare the churros. When she gave them to me no apology. Can't believe this is what you get for $20 an hour. I will not return to this restaurant. No accountability.

My family orders take-out via the app several times a week from this N. Upland location. We usually order a tostada among other items and the app requires us to specify which dressing we want (Creamy Cilantro or Ranch). We always specify Ranch but NEVER receive it. We either receive the Creamy Cilantro or no dressing at all and have to ask for it when we pick up the order. We are always met with an argumentative response that the dressing is in the bag which is not true. We have to ask for the dressing multiple times and each time are told it's in the bag in a rude and defensive tone. I'm not sure why they have to be so argumentative about it, or why the app requires us to specify the dressing if the staff isn't going to pay attention to the order in the first place. It's ridiculous and frustrating to have to argue to get a packet of dressing. Recently, when we picked up our order, we could immediately tell that an item was missing from our order and brought it to a staff member's attention. We were told in a stern and defensive manner "it's all there; it's in the bag" which was not true. We politely explained that we ordered 3 items but only received 2. The staff member doubled down multiple times and insisted it was in the bag. A manager finally got involved and found our missing item. It's frustrating to spend $35-50 dollars several times a week and to have to argue with a staff member to get a lousy packet of salad dressing or to get our entire order in the first place. If anyone from EPL is reading this, you need to hire more service-oriented team members who are not defensive and argumentative over simple requests. We order a lot of take-out and will think twice about ordering from this EPL location. EDIT: It is now several months later and this EPL location just can't seem to get orders right. Today we ordered a meal with mashed potatoes and it came with beans instead. Two weeks ago, we ordered 3 entrees and only got 2 and when my husband questioned the clerk she insisted over and over that the order was complete so he brought it home and then of course discovered he was right and had to go back. Of the 2 entrees we received, one was completely wrong and had a thigh instead of breast meat and totally different sides. We will no longer give business to this EPL location; It's not acceptable to spend $30-40 on a meal only to have it be wrong.

The employees are extremely rude and cut you off when your not done ordering and also they close at 10 because it says on the site but they close by 9:30 so you guys are fall's advertising and honestly it's not worth coming here I wouldn't recommend anyone.

i waited 10mins in line only to find out that the credit card machine wasn't working. the guy said they only take cash. i don't know why my order couldn't have been rung up on a different machine.

Dirty tables to sit inside and ordered 2 breasts and got 1 good one and one that had practically no meat on it, just bones basically and gave it back and she looked annoyed and gave me back almost the same thing with hardly any meat on it and totally dried out:( Very disappointed. Was great until about 2 months ago. 5 star to 1 star. I have been going to this location for many years. The service is terrible now. I will take my business elsewhere Update: gave them another chance after several months. The customer service is even worse. Rude teen working in the front. Had an attitude when you ask him to grab some salsa because the salsa bar is closed still. The food looks terrible and thrown together (literally thrown). There is no excuse. Stop blaming covid for your lack of work ethic.

On 7/12, came to this location for 2 tostada salads and a classic burrito. Was immediately told there are no chicken breast for the tostada salads, so have to order something else. Order a two piece meal (breast and a leg), three piece meal (breast, a thigh and a leg), and the classic burrito. When ready, the order was missing the classic burrito and I had to request. Once home, found out they gave me 5 legs and 1 breast. When I returned to ask about and get corrected, I was told it is my fault the order was wrong because I did not check the order. SO ALL BE ADVISED, they do not take responsibility for getting your order right and think ultimately the customer is responsible (not them) also staff is of low character, so who knows what they do when you are not looking.

Well just left here and got home and missing half our order 🤦🏼‍♀️ I LOVE paying for stuff I don’t get. Get it together people.

I ordered the New loco box. I was very much unsatisfied with my order. My food was cold. The chicken was cold, the churros were cold and the mixed rice and beans not a good idea. The food quality seems to be declining.

I generally like El Pollo Loco however this location must have a problem with there rice cooker. This is not the first time the rice was hard or under cooked. Horrible biting into hard rice. This location is closer to home but i will try and avoid this location or if nescessary avoid there rice altogether. Had the new chicken enchladas plate. All good except rice...disappointing.

This was the second time I went to this location. The first time the food tasted bad, but because we were in a hurry to get home & it was convenient because it was the closest, I decided to give it another try. I've never had a problem with any other Pollo Loco before so I thought maybe they just had a bad day. NOPE, I was wrong! Apparently, the food is bad all the time because the chicken was super dry, the posole had a huge piece of chicken in it (half of a breast) & it was also burnt & dry. The chicken tortilla soup was old & had a burnt taste to it as well & there were no tortillas strips! I went inside rather than go through the drive through, because the line was long, plus I usually prefer going inside. I don't understand why, but it was FREEZING inside! I would've never been able to eat comfortably had I wanted to eat there! I will absolutely not be returning.🙄😣

Raised prices of the food while to portions shrunk. Got 5 chips in my large bag of chips. I will not be going back to El Pollo Loco for the future. What a rip off. Suggest anyone trying to feed your family go somewhere else. Tams Burgers is better.

I could not take website to accept digital coupon $10 off $30 kept saying order can’t be filled due to location being closed. I went in and asked if coupon can be applied due to Error on website. They said no. I ended up paying regular price. They even charge extra for onions and cilantro. Unbelievable! How expensive can bulk onions cost? Especially with their high prices. Next time I will go to Juan Pollo.

I'd avoid this place unless you want to potentially be gaslit into thinking you were wrong about what you were charged, even after you go inside after the drive-thru to prove in your bank charges you were right. Instead of apologizing and making things right, they sent me on my way with charges for my order, someone else's order, and what they say is going to be a refund for some random 3rd order that is less than either of the other two orders I was charged for. I have to now wait 2-3 business days to see if I get some random refund on a mysterious 3rd order and then what? Drive back over there to show them it didn't go through? The two other charges are pending but this refund is not even pending. As of right now I've paid $21.84 for one burrito and the headache of having to argue with them and prove they messed up while my food gets cold. Even if I was refunded everything I'll just avoid El Pollo Loco completely if this is how their managers (Jessica) are trained to handle these situations. Peace and love, but definitely peace out.

Ordered $37 of food, I arrived home not getting the Chips & Queso that I paid for on receipt. Then when I called the person who answered phone telling me "They gave you guac not queso. .. sometimes we mess up orders." SMH! Horrible service, Im not going to this location any more. There are better locations I've gone too and never had issues. This location hit 3 strikes ypur OUT!

I ordered 2pollo bowls and wanted to add lettuce to my bowl. When I got home my pollo bowl had 3 tiny pieces of lettuce and and 4 tiny pieces of chicken swimming in nothing but bean it looked more like I had ordered a soup of beans. I called right away to speak to the manager and the manager who claimed to be the manger Rene was the most rudest person I had to deal with. He refused to replace my bowls and screamed at me in very broken English so I asked him to speak Spanish to me better to see if that would help the situation better. It was worst he continued to be rude and told be that if I asked for lettuce in my food why didn’t I just buy a salad. He refused to credit the order and said that he would not exchange the gross bowls he himself had made. He continued to argue and treat me horribly and then hanged up on me. I will be reporting this horrible person to corporate and exposing him. I will not allow him to continue running business as he pleases and treating customers like this. He has no customer service ethics

Looked forward to the new double chicken tostado. The add showed fresh avocado, 3 slices and a generous serving of chicken. we received a single slice of very brown avocado, that looked like it had been left out for hours and hours. The chicken had so much hormones in it that the wife and I we still awake at 3 in the morning, vowing never to take away from there ever again. Try upping your game to at least slightly representative of the ad on TV.

These are the last three pieces of burnt, black chicken I was given via the drive thru at this place. A patient, courteous young man took my order, and I impressed upon him that I wanted "juicy" moist, fresh chicken. The cook apparently dropped the ball and gave my family and me old, burnt, dry pieces. I paid $31 for garbage. Double check your order or just avoid this place. This is just soooo wrong! I tried AGAIN today. While tge chicken was of much better quality than that I wrote my initial about, the order this time was WRONG. I just can't win with this place. I think at this point I have allowed them to rob me for the last time. We just couldn't enjoy the meal with incorrect side orders and WRONG salsa variety. Again, this is just wrong and so frustrating. Cook st home; I am going to take my own advice...
