Dr. Kate Pierson was so amazing! I have been with Kaiser for many years. First doctor to really listen to my concerns. Took time and booked a mri for me. She is so compassionate. Walked me out gave me her card. Very impressed!

Very friendly support staff/nurse. They made sure I had the correct first aid supplies to take home. Dr Ghazaleh listened to my concerns and treated my wound with care. I’ve been a member of Kaiser for 43 years and plan to stay a member for as long as I can. In fact, with possible plans to leave CA, the potential loss of Kaiser membership is a huge factor in our decision!

I completed a 12 week physical therapy program with Kaiser Permanente's Stacy Haller and I went from not walking due to ankle surgery to walking without a walker or cane and going up and down stairs. The mild swelling and numbness, I am told, will go away. Thanks very much for making my life normal again.

Dr Au is a wonderful doctor + person! He made my 2 cataract surgeries easy and without any anxiety on my part. He explains everything that he is going to do and what I can expect afterwards. Dr Russel, Ocular Plastic surgeon in Vacavill, is very thorough and he noticed what might have been a second growth on my eyelid. He prescribed a pattern of treatment to determine what was going on and set up two subsequent visits to ensure it was not worrisome before he released me. The two doctors we had in the ER were absolutely fantastic. We had a very bad experience at Vallejo ER before this so it was very nice to see people who actually took it seriously and got him fast care. My dad had a laceration on his head (you could see his skull) and was concussed. Within 20 minutes he was seen and treated. The check in people were kind and understanding, the triage nurse actually gave him gauze to hold to his head. I can not say enough for the emergency team at Vacaville. Everyone was kind and professional. People actually wanted to help even if he wasn't their patient.

I arrived early for a bone density test and also need an X-ray on my right wrist. I was taken back for the bone density test almost immediately and then only waited about 15 minutes after for the wrist X-rays. I also picked up a prescription, a wrist splint and then had a blood draw and a vaccine and tetanus booster - all told in less than two hours. On a holiday no less.

I have been VERY appreciative of the level of care I receive from Kaiser in Vacaville. This is an easy location to get to and has outstanding services. The Pharmacy is easy to get to and the staff are always friendly if you are unsure of where to go. Id like to acknowledge Dr Applebaum and his staff as well as Dr. Hang Claus and her staff I have been with them for over 7 years! They are outstanding Primary Care and OBGYN.

It was absolutely great to have the option of going to Urgent Care rather than the ED! The care was excellent but it was obvious this was a new care path that is still figuring out the process, hence the score of 9. Jumping directly to MRI was brilliant!! I’ve had very good experiences with the laboratories and staff at various Kaisers. For example: Martinez, Fairfield, Walnut Creek and the Vacaville labs. The trick to in and out is identifying the best days and times to go. My most recent visits over the course of this week in Vacaville went smoothly. I might have waited no more than 10-15 minutes after pulling my number to be taken care of.

Although I am very pleased with the urology department, I am disabled with MS and must use a walker. The handicap parking and the entire parking lot were completely full so I had no way of getting to my appointment. I believe those of us who are handicapped would be willing to pay a valet to take and bring our cars to us at the front door. This is very helpful at Stanford Medical Center that has the same trouble with having enough parking.

Dr Kappel takes all patients and their eye care seriously. I have seen him several times w different symptoms and worries and he is reassuring and he knows what he is doing. If he has to do research prior to the next step, that is exactly what he does telling the patient what he is doing as he does the next step. He is patient abd kind and always does his best for each patient whether he is working w a child or a geriatric patient like me. There is no better practicing ophthalmologist.

Dr. Battenburg performed my anterior hip replacement surgery December 17, 2025 I was in excruciating pain. Dr. Battenberg was able to relieve my pain by his professional surgery done for me. Dr Martin answered all of my questions and covered all the pros & cons of the different lens options for my upcoming cataract surgery and also covered questions about my choice to maintain my nearsightedness. Dr. Pierson in the Adult & Family Medicine Department was very kind and friendly during the visit. She listened to my concerns and let me know what my options were after doing an exam. She helped me by ordering a medication refill and was more than happy to send the order to a pharmacy closer to my home. She also informed me that an X-ray order she put in could be done anywhere and also shared the hours for the Radiology department onsite. I was very happy with my experience with Dr. Pierson and would definitely come back to see her again.

Dr. Meloni is the best eye doctor I've ever had. I need retinal injections every 8 weeks. She explains thoroughly the status of my retinas, the options for treatment, what I can expect, and any new treatments or medications that may be available. I was assaulted by one of the ophthalmologists in 2019 during a retinal injection (I reported to the State, reported it to Kaiser, and nothing was done. That guy is still employed in the same department at Kaiser). I had panic attacks afterwards every time I needed an injection. Dr. Meloni has been kind, patient, gentle, and reassuring each time I see her. I no longer have panic attacks and can get through my injections with no anxiety. She is a treasure and deserves a raise.

The staff is competent, the care is reliable, and the experience feels like it’s built around real people, not press releases. It’s everything UC Davis pretends to be but isn’t. I’m glad that just after my in-home physical therapy ended, I got a Kaiser appointment for PT. Normally the wait is very long (at least 2weeks) which is not good. Suffering patients ought not to be kept waiting like that. I needed post-op PT appointment so I got it the next week appointment. I’m grateful.

The wait time for the appointment was minimal. Dr. came in and examined my foot and discussed how she would like to proceed as the problem doesn't seem to be resolved by cortisone shots. I'm in agreement with her plan. I've found this doctor to be very caring.

Kaiser Permanente has been my medical provider for over 15 years, in this time I have used it well and I am satisfied with their treatment of my urgency care related to my heart, but that is where the care for me starts and stops, the care that implies having a personal relationship (not be friends) with the medical providers has been deteriorating with time, less time to have a conversation about the symptoms, about the medication and the effects and side effects of the medication is not there anymore, to be able to build trust in the provider. I feel that I have moved away from being a value member to just being a number $$ and the providers need to see so many patients in a determine amount of time that the quality of service has been slipping. It gives me the impression they have grown too big to successful and competent.

The clinician was great it was the cost of the product that caused me to be in happy. I’m in ssdi I have great insurance that covers $800 dollars per ear. I thought cool that should get me some hearing aids. Wrong I would still need to come up with $ 600 more bucks. Crazy on a fixed income I cannot afford to hear. That’s where my problem is. Primary Care 1st Floor, Suite A18. I arrived for my appointment and checked in at the front desk, but unfortunately my interaction with the receptionist was disappointing. Her demeanor came across as unprofessional and noticeably annoyed. After checking me in, she directed me where to sit, but did not offer a receipt. When I asked for one before walking away, she rolled her eyes as if I was asking for something unreasonable. She did print it, but the interaction felt unnecessarily unpleasant and dismissive. On a positive note, my experience with the medical assistant and Dr. Trung Lap Nguyen was the complete opposite. The medical assistant was kind, welcoming, and professional. Dr. Nguyen took his time answering all of my questions and thoroughly reviewing my records, which I truly appreciated. Overall, while the clinical care was excellent, the customer service at the front desk left much to be desired.

This happened 11:04 pm -11:38 pm i checked in for my prescription i was told 10 min i proceeded to wait as they took care of over 6 people who was there after me i stayed in sight and no one checked in to see if i needed anything 30 + min later to find out they were out of stock and that’s only because I went back up to ask what was happening and when I explained the situation to lady she gave me a blank Stare and turned her head , very disrespectful , no sorry ,and no regard for my time . I work two jobs i have work in a matter of hours and they have 0 regard for me saying i would have just appreciated a heads up ,The absolute worst service .

I went in to get fitted for a boot for my sprained ankle was completely misinformed about all of my care and left with a boot that was ill fitted for my injury. I don’t know why as a patient it’s impossible to get help here for anything. I will be back to find a competent dr to fix this problem for now but as soon as I get my new open enrollment for my insurance at work I will be leaving this hell hole of supposed care and go to north bay where I can at least see a real dr in person and not have a computer give me their best guess on my issues. I’m literally so done with this horrible place that doesn’t actually seem to care for patients but more what they can’t milk out of my insurance!

Negligent hospital full of negligent staff that doesn't prioritize patient health and wellbeing. Had stitches in the ER 8/12. They told me they would call me in 7-14 days for suture removal, however i never recieved a call, so the 15th day i called and let them know. They told me they dont have anything for the rest of the week (it was a wednesday) but they will message my primary doctor and reach out to me by the end of the business day to try to squeeze me in. They never called me back. The next day (today) I call and let them know what is going on. They tell me they still don't have anything available and they can "send another message" and i told them them that is what they told me yesterday so i dont want to rely on that. They then said they actually have 48 hours to respond, which is NOT end of the business day as i was told.  It has now been 16 days without an appointment even though it was their responsibility to call me and get me on schedule. Now i have to risk my skin growing over my sutures and discomfort during removal because of their negligence. I now have to wait who knows how long until something becomes available.

I have good experiences here but just know the OBGYN department won’t take complaints seriously, they side with the doctors. A doctor went against my wishes and then lied about it. It was violating and traumatic. Nothing was done but a letter that says “I’m sorry you feel like that happened”. Incredibly disappointed and disheartened.

Horrible experience! Please adequately staff your front desk/receptionists- I waited 40 minutes in the wrong location because each office down MO-B Floor 3 had signs on their desks saying, "to check-in at another location," and NOT ONE OFFICE on that floor had someone to check us in. That is unacceptable; I pay good money to be provided Medical SERVICE, and I expect to be checked-in and greeted by a human, not a machine or sign that sends me on a wild goose chase (especially when I'm already concerned about the reason that I'm there). A machine and/or a sign is cold and impersonal.

I have a very serious condition called HG pregnancy where it's more severe form and can be really dangerous, well they didn't take it seriously and had me waiting 6 hours. I could lose my baby and passout.. I wish they took these things seriously. I had to leave or I was going to faint... not the best er for serious conditions for pregnancy. This emergency room is a joke and will keep pushing you back more hours.

Lack of communication from Dr. George. Asked me to have labs done twice now via email. Made an appointment the first time that she asked for labs. Arrive at the lab appointment I planned ahead for and they tell me that she has not placed the lab orders. I had to run down to the department that she’s in to have them ask her to put the orders in and then run back into the lab to have my labs drawn. If it hadn’t happened a second time which was yesterday August 12th I wouldn’t have been as upset but the same issue. She emailed me requesting labs and didn’t put in the lab orders. I emailed her back the same day asking if the orders have been put in (to avoid a repeat of the issue). I NEVER got a response in email. Went to the lab and AGAIN orders were not put in. Mind you I went in a few weeks after her requesting the labs. She had ample time to put in the orders. When I discussed this with her at the appointment I had yesterday in person she didn’t apologize or acknowledge the issue instead she acted as if she didn’t understand why it happened. I felt it was unprofessional especially coming from a doctor and told her I felt that way and only then did she finally apologize. I am a mom of two kids I have to plan ahead and pay for baby sitters so my time is valuable. It seemed as if she didn’t feel the same about my time. It was shown in her lack of communication and follow through on her end.

It has been a 6 day nightmare for our 6 day old grandbaby. From incorrect medical care for the baby, including an unnecessary trip to the NICU and nurses unable to attach equipment correctly and can’t even get a treatment light turned on correctly.

Act like you’re in more pain than you really are to get help. That’s all I learned from this place, thank you M B Dela Cruz. I waited 7 hours just to hear, schedule an appointment with your doctor. And then they charge me 350. I’m really upset with this, I’m still hurting from my medical problems and they gave me absolutely no help. I hope I get worse because my symptoms were not fully evaluated and I hope to sue you guys because of it. Expect malpractice claims.

Necessary PTs haven't been available, but Kaiser doesn't allow patients to get physical therapies outside of Kaiser. I have been struggling from left-side shoulder pains for three months and two doctors have referred me to PT services. But I just saw a PT recently after long waiting. I learned that I can see the PT only once a month, that is not enough for my pains. Extremely disappointed by Kaiser's practices for patients. That is lack of care for patients.

It was a terrible experience. I went to Kaiser to get my DOT medical exam for my CDL. I currently am healthy with zero issues. The doctor looked up my medical records from a year ago when I had come in for back pain which at the time was keeping me up at night . He decided not to pass my current medical exam until I had further testing which included 2 more appointments one for a completely unnecessary sleep study for insomnia which is ridiculous as I am currently sleeping 7-8 hours every night without waking and I feel great when I wake up! The second test he was requiring was for a nerve conduction study for sciatic pain I had a year ago. Come on! I am on no medications and have no physical issues. Why is an issue from over a year age that is completely resolved even part of this? Who is going to pay for all this extra testing that I clearly don't need? The Doctor did not do his job and I ended up going somewhere else and paying again for what I needed. Complete waste of time and money.

we've had two children at this hospital, and the experiences couldn’t have been more different. Unfortunately, Baby #2 was an absolute nightmare in 2022. We were considered high-risk and had a clear plan in place. When we arrived for induction, that plan went out the window. We didn’t see a provider for a full 7 hours, which is completely unacceptable. This isn't the ER folks. To make matters worse, the epidural was delayed to the point where we never even received it and delivered without it, in agony. The situation only got worse when we were essentially kicked out of our room (think it was the assistant nurse manager, who moved our belongings) to make space for another patient. There was no consideration for our comfort or well-being during such a critical time. It’s a great place to work, but the quality of care is severely lacking. As a healthcare professional myself (RN), I can say that the Kaiser staff—across all departments from the lab, management to the nurses / np and doctors—seem more focused on profits than providing genuine patient care. It’s disheartening to experience that firsthand. Have your kids elsewhere, or before nightshift shows up.

Kaiser’s policies, system, and staff make me feel like I’m receiving free care, yet I am a paying customer. So far, I have not experienced the level of quality I expect from this institution. Waiting 1–2 months for a 20-minute appointment is simply ridiculous

ER is a joke. Staff are friendly but the service and wait times are terrible. Came in yesterday waited 5 hours. No rooms available and the Doctor actually told me to use the bathroom to take my pants off and wrap a gown around me and sit in the hallway. Had to return today due to symptoms progressing and have waited 4 hours and still have not been seen. Lady came out earlier to let us know wait times are 8 hours or so due to not enough beds. I guess I have to be in cardiac arrest before I receive any care. For the amount you have to pay in insurance premiums, as well as copay they should have enough staff and enough beds. Definitely looking to switch my provider when the time comes.
