An excellent meal! We had dinner there on Friday with a large group of friends, and we were seated at table 12, a spacious round table. The staff was very attentive. The blonde waitress was very friendly and helpful from the start. The roast lamb was the best. This restaurant has stood the test of time and continues to maintain its quality and character.
A must-visit in Valladolid. Incredible food, fast service, and super friendly staff. We ordered grilled black pudding (divine), garlic prawns (delicious), and suckling lamb that was out of this world. Tender, crispy, and generously portioned. We'll definitely be back. The place is spacious and very nice.
Excellent experience. The suckling lamb was truly delicious, tender, and with a spectacular flavor. The garlic prawns are also highly recommended. Furthermore, the service from our waitress, Eva, was outstanding—very friendly and attentive at all times. Definitely a place to return to!
We had lunch there yesterday and I must highlight the excellent work of the waiter, who was very polite and professional. However, a woman who was there (I don't know if she was the owner) was speaking quite loudly and calling out the orders, which I found a bit inappropriate. The food was very good and the atmosphere was pleasant. We will definitely return.
Very good service. It has beautiful and incredible views. The service was excellent. And all the food was exquisite. Calamari, garlic shrimp, pepper salad with anchovies... The quarter of lamb and the chops were incredible. They melted in your mouth. I don't recommend the cheesecake, but I do recommend the cream with walnuts and cream with truffles. The truffles were... super, super delicious. You have to make a reservation and reserve the lamb you want to eat. We were left wanting to try the lamb skewer and sweetbreads, which had been recommended to us. So we will be back!
I loved the place and the food. Despite being a bit outside the city and needing a car to get there, it's well worth the drive to enjoy the panoramic views of Valladolid. The food is high quality. They have good meat, and the starters were delicious too. And the desserts! They're all homemade! That's a big plus, along with the fresh (never frozen) fries. The cheesecake was absolutely delicious. You can tell everything is cooked with care. When you make something with passion and use quality ingredients, it can't go wrong. You have to reserve the quarters of suckling lamb in advance, as indicated on their website. It's also a good idea to book a table in advance to avoid any surprises. I'll be back to try other dishes.
Amazing authentic spanish food
A must do in Valladolid!!! It was an amazing experience. The food was eclellent and the service was superb. I would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting Valladolid.
Wow what can i say.... best lechazo ever... went with all my family maybe 15 pips.. amazing
Restaurante precioso, tipo castillo.
The roast lamb was very, very good. Everything else was fine; a traditional grill restaurant with the typical atmosphere and service of these establishments. It's far from the city center, but in return, it has its own parking.
We went on a Monday, I hope it was a one-off, total chaos, a spectacle, we were missing two starters and they changed our plates and cutlery. After a while, another waitress asked if we were missing anything because she wasn't sure where the extra plate went (which is two), then well, they changed plates again, the second plate arrived and the sirloin was almost raw, we asked a waiter to go over the grill, so far so good, when we finished our plates, the sirloin still hadn't come back and he came over with a cheeky face to ask if we were missing anything 😂 😂 😂 If the plate you brought is left, there is a loud argument between the waiters, after another while, which is more than 20 minutes, a sirloin appears brought by another waitress who wasn't sure if she left a plate or not (is it yours? not next door's), and if it wasn't hers, she had cut the sirloin to check and it was whole, but oh well, plate is plate, the daughter was extremely upset. We didn't order dessert or coffee, the bill 🙏 please and see you later. The food was decent in flavor and price, the show was free!!!
No volveremos.
A dinner with friends, six of us, when we arrived they didn't even greet us, nor did they show us to our table—a tremendous lack of courtesy. The roast lamb left much to be desired, and the ham portion was best left unmentioned; poorly presented, with extremely thick slices, and the potato with the octopus was very hard. But the last straw was the waitress's attitude. She refused to go get us a gin because she was in another room and felt tired and unwell with a fever. We suggested that if she was feeling unwell, perhaps she should be wearing a mask, and her rude response was that she wasn't wearing one, that we should wear one ourselves. In short, the waitress's service was appalling. Between the poor service and the terrible quality of the food, we have little desire to return.
We wish to express our dissatisfaction with the service we received from the waitress who served us, identified as A. During our interaction, she repeatedly stated that she was ill and very tired, comments we considered inappropriate in a customer service setting. Given this situation, and precisely because she was the one who mentioned being ill, we respectfully suggested she wear a mask. However, her response was to tell us that we should wear them ourselves, which created an uncomfortable and contradictory situation. Furthermore, she repeatedly stated that she had to leave to retrieve bottles that were not on the bar, negatively impacting the flow and quality of service. We believe that both her personal comments and the way she handled the situation were inappropriate and not in line with the professional service we expect. Therefore, we are submitting this complaint so that it can be taken into account to improve customer service in the future.
We arrived without a reservation and they gave us a table. We asked about the roast lamb and they didn't have it because it was only available by special order. So we got some grilled baby squid, five of them, completely cold. The octopus was tough, and I don't like it too soft. Well, let's hope the entrecote is better. Goodness, when we saw that 200g entrecote! It must have been about a centimeter thick... well overcooked, because they didn't even ask us how we wanted it. Everything was so disappointing! On top of that, the waitresses kept walking around and taking our plates away the moment we looked away. If you're in a hurry, don't give me a table, right? Another thing, the bread wasn't listed on the menu, and it's mandatory to list it if you're going to charge for it. Anyway... I won't be going back.
