It took me over 18 years of living in SoCal to finally eat here. I'm mad it took me that long. Great food at reasonable prices.

They got order correct which is saying a lot for a fast food joint as most barely speak English let alone know how to take an order. This Del Taco listened well and got a special order exactly right. The kids, not adults over 50 who have no business working an entry level job like this, was kind and courteous. Just like the way it used to be before management went to hiring only 50 years old or older team members who have no intention of ever leaving the job effectively destroying the ability for young workers to cut their teeth on this job market. Proud of this place. Will make it our regular Del Taco.

I don't have Del Taco in my area, so always have it when I travel. I found this particular location to be exactly what 1 would expect. The food was delicious the grounds and building were clean and the service was actually exceptional here. I also feel that don't taco offers a good meal for the money.

For some reason this locations tacos and overall food tastes better than other nearby locations ive been to. It tastes more made as you asked for it. Other places when you bite into the hard shell tacos you get a feeling its been there for like 15min sitting and losing freshness or something. But this locations good. Any time you want some good tacos or whatever it is deltacos where its at.

What can I say it's my fave fast food place. It's not a five star restaurant like that, it's a five star restaurant like that! This is one of the best locations I've been to with consistently great food. The only bad thing is there soda is off sometimes so if you are going through the drive thru make sure to take a sip before you bail

The great service in this small fast food restaurant really does inspire me. The staff members are always having a smile wide across their face and they surely do respect the customer and one another. The food itself is tasting great and I couldn’t have found a quicker and better service than here. I love the fact that each and every customer is treated equally and fairly. Employees are always friendly and quick. The food has never disappointed. I love that they sell a bean and cheese cup, haven't seen it on the menu but they have it. Great pit stop when you're rushing to work in the morning.

This store, including their unisex restrooms, are clean and well stocked. During the few times I have been there, the staff have been polite and professional. The food is typical Del Taco fare and they even have coffee which Taco Bell didn't last time I checked. I will return again when in the area.

I'm so glad to be back in California to visit Del Taco. They did not disappoint! I had the chicken soft tacos and the spicy jack quesadilla, so good! I love the consistency of the food. Thank you for making my visit with it!

This is one of the better Del Taco's around. A surprising number of them in the San Fernando Valley get the orders wrong or leave items off, but this one gets it right every time. Beyond that, it's still a Del Taco, so you know what to expect.

I had a very large order, which was filled with 10 tacos 10 burritos four chicken rollers and a special request for a lot of scorcho and Inferno sauce. This is the first still taco where they followed my app order exactly without any problems or issues. Also, even though it was super busy they made everything very very quickly. The cashier was extremely nice and the food was amazing. This is my closest Del Taco and also my most favorite Del Taco. There is a reason why this store has four stars. Others do not even come close. Thank you for my order today thank you for everything and thank you for making my experience fantastic

The Del Tac0 located on Balboa St. Is the best kept, the food is put together with much more care than the other Del Tacos in the valley. THe food is fresher. a

I like their chicken rolls and carnitas burritos when they have them. To me that's the best thing on their menu. The turkey tacos are pretty good as well although the best tacos to me are the hard she'll chicken tacos at Melody's in Reseda. The tamales are so tiny the 2 for $4 is kind of a rip off. The medium sauces are delish. The drive through set us is challenging at times.

Ordered in advance took a few minutes longer than I thought it would but all the items were quite good and the prices were very reasonable.

I only ever get one thing here and that is the crispy fish tacos. They are baja stayle and served with pico and a lime wedge. Actually very good. I'm not so sure about the rest of the food there but I do recommend the fish tacos.

I've only stopped here a couple times trying to get some egg and rice burritos from their dollar menu. Quick service, for sure, and friendly staff. clean restrooms and well kept facilities.

Not a big fan of del taco, but i was surprised by the quality of the meat in "the del taco". The shell was really crunchy and corny just how i like. 4 stars because it was kind of dirty n the customer service was eh.

Great service. Fairly clean tables. Well stocked with hot sauce and other necessary items. Employees very polite and courteous. Food always tasty and fresh and served fast. I would give it 5 stars but not all of the tables are kept perfectly clean.

I went late that evening. One of the outdoor standing posters hit my car going through drive through but one of the workers came out and grabbed the sign and even checked out my car for me. He took a picture of my hood where the stand landed to show me so I didn't have to get out of the car. Thank goodness for him. It was freezing that night. I wish I had gotten his name. Happy holidays to him and hus family.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the location that only has 1 window in the drive thru (not sure if that's good or bad) and one thing that was kind of annoying is that the speaker thing you order at, is covered by some nee food item advertising poster thingy. So I didn't even know where to order from at first. Other then that, great place, got my order fast.

It's Del Taco. They have all the Del Taco specials you know Tuesday taco night Thursday taco night and so forth. Ain't nothin special ain't nothing great. Nothing to complain about and nothing 2 praise about

They sent me cupons. 3 had prices; $1 each, 2 did not. I thought my lunch would be around $6. It was $17. I wish they would put prices on all cupons. Many restaurants put a table & chairs outside. None here. At McDonalds, a pair of double cheeseburgers is $3 (1.5 each). Here it is expensive & semi dry. Their $1 taco was the best 👌 part. They had FF with steak topping. Smelled good but too tough to chew.

Mixed bag at this location. I've come here and things are fast, hot and delicious. Other times, they are SLOW, the food is cold, made wrong (like no chicken in my chicken burrito). Thankfully the good times out number the bad. And if you play Pokemon Go there is a Pokestop at this location and a gym in the same parking lot!

My son asked for ice cups , they gave ice cups with no lids, it made our tacos very soggy in the bag, The Manager Lydia needs to train her team to do a better job at customer service..after all we are paying for it"...Your Corporate office needs to change the way customers are dealt with and handled.."...

Service was good. There was a homeless lady inside the dining area just chillin,drinking her tall can of old English or something. She was talking to nobody...the employees didn't seem to mind.

I was tryna get my bean and cheese burrito with a side of fries and I clearly asked for that and she put the fries in my burrito and then I asked for it again and she gave my fries only like I at least expect you to do better after i give u simple instructions

The Birria taco has nothing to do with the advertising. It is just made of two tiny tortillas and small meat. It is no wonder why the street taco vendors are full of people.

There is a reason that rules are in place for every restaurant. The people who handled our food were not wearing any gloves at all. This is not good for anyone because, what if any of the workers had placed their hands in other areas without washing them? I would not recommend this place for anyone to go to.

Despite what the large litter sign says, the location is not open 24 hours a day. The location was also updated on Google maps but the business seems to consistently confirm that it is open 24 hours and yet they will often close their drive-through very early in the morning; probably after the bar rush. I got food here during the day, and it was not the best Del Taco…

Never had any problems with the food here, or any problems with the service. Foot traffic has to deal with vagrants, but they aren't aggressive in my experience. Faster service when compared to Jack in the Box or McDonald's across the street. Dining area is well attended, and bathrooms are serviceable.

I stopped by this Del Taco today because I was in the plaza and craving some fries. Del Taco fries is one of my favorite when it's done right so I figure to try it out here. I found parking easily because this Del Taco in the plaza has their own destinated parking spots. When you walk inside, you order from the kiosk. I got a large French fries and a regular size drink. It took them some time to have my order ready and to give me a cup to get my own drink. My fries were not that good, I think it was overcooked or not seasoned correctly. I still finish it and you could really taste the different with the coke soda when you compare it to another place. My experience here was okay.

Their "carne asada" is just chunks of what looks/ tastes like rehydrated (yet still somehow dry) jerky. I don't know why I keep trying it at all the different locations when it always tastes like this. Edit because Del Taco contacted me: it wasn't the preparation but just what your product is.

Well the selection of food was great service was a little for as many customers as they had but I did have a little bit of a order nothing to extreme but when we got home to eat the shrimp tacos werent that good and even the regular chicken tacos werent to great either over all kinda disappointing that it wasent better I usually like del taco but not this night!

The sign on the door says they open at 6am and online say 7am

I am just not fond of Del Taco tacos. They are very salty to me. Taco Bell's on the other hand taste a thousand times better . I cannot eat any Del Taco food ! The sodium is off the roof!!!!

Went back after a few years away (the quality of the meat was lacking) to try the "Beyond Meat" vegetarian tacos. Great taco shells and fresh cheese, lettuce and tomatoes(as always) but the veggie meat was overly seasoned.

It's gone downhill since they changed the menu. Prices all went up. Combos all lost an item. No more jacked up b r c. Taco Tuesdays are a wash. They over charge you and you get mini tacos. The bean and cheese burrito is still good. The dbl del burger is good if you have the buy one get one free coupon. Ask for hot sauce, you don't even get one per item. The guy at the drive thru is good.

They used to have a really good shrimp taco. It's not tasty anymore. They changed it. Made with cheaper ingredients because everyone wast ro put out the cheapest products from the highest prices. All out of greed in my opinion. Just make a good product at a fair price.

The food is okay. Location is okay. But this review is being left because the cashier that helped me out today, charged me for my order, complimented me & asked me for my number, I kindly said no & I think because of that he intentionally left items from my order out of my bag that he handed me. I unfortunately didn’t realize until I was back at work. Very unprofessional to say the least. Are you there to work or are you there with other intentions? I’m so disappointed as I paid for the food obviously & I don’t have time to head back over during my lunch break.

Visited for the first time to checkout the food the hard shell taco was good not a fan of soft " street tacos" quesadea not very good soggy tortilla and beef burrito I should have passed on but found out they charge 40 cents for the the little condiment in the picture just bigger than a quarter which you find for free at most mexican food places which was shocking. Any way probably won't stop at this chain fir a few years. Lets see if they can improve.

It's a del taco, it kind of sucks but it is cheap af... there are things on the buck and under menu that cost over a buck? I took away 2 stars for being punks. I thought I would try their epic burrito, paid almost 7 bucks for a burrito that had 5 little 1/2 inch square of chicken on it. To hell if I will do that again. For fifty cents more I can get a half chicken, rice, beans, tortillas and salsa at the Mexican market. F*** del taco.

Once jack in the box bight del taco, the menu items changed and the quality went down. I loved del taco but now it's just as gross as jack.

the food that i got after waiting 20 minutes was cold, a little lukewarm, and just not the temperature of food. i walked up to the cashier and said my food was cold her response, "no its not". Again i stated it was cold and she told me they had just made it. I did not doubt her or come up to her rudely so her responding this way made me more upset. I said i'm sure you just made it but the food may be under cooked, she called over her manager and went ahead to explain to her in front of me that we wanted more food, i said no our food is cold i simply just want hot food the manager took the tray and a few minutes later handed us another with burning hot food. we took it to go

three times there and three times bad. just quesadillas. how hard can it be? with chicken. two times they forgot the chicken (yet charged for it) third time no chicken (i checked before leaving) and they tried to argue and say i didn't order with chicken, yet there it was on the receipt..... as well as the fries they didn't put in the bag. won't go again as who knows what they'd spit in? when they DID put the fries in the bag on the third time, they literally dumped them in the bag. no fry bag/portion container... so who knows where they were, or if it was the right amount? Eta Thought id give it another try after a year. Nope. Still messed upa simple chicken quesadilla, for which i specified NO peppers. Got home, first bite was enough pepper to blister my mouth... literally. Tossed in the trash. Money wasted. Will not return Eta. Tried one more time. Chicken quesadillas. Only. Took forever. Got back to work, opened bag, no chicken, hardly any cheese They all got raises in pay, but can't do the job.

Food is still ok but the cheese has been changed. They went from an attractive cheddar cheese on their nachos to a disgusting looking white cheese that makes the food look unappealing. When I asked the manager when were changes made, she was so incredibly rude to me and then lied and treated me like I wad stupid saying it wad always like that. It wasn't.

Fries almost always, 2 out of 3 times, have black specks on them from the oil in the fryer being old or burnt. And forget ordering an egg and cheese taco because if you don't say "egg and cheese breakfast taco" they have no idea what your talking about and will tell you they don't have egg and cheese tacos. Yup! Lol That happened 2 times. We ate here 3 times in the last 8 months, because we live up the street... Every time was a very bad experience. Pulled in shortly after 11 p.m. Sign in the window (powered on, lit, fully operational, working) says "Drive-thru open 24 hours". No voice came through the drive-thru speaker, even though I sat there for almost 2 minutes, and called out "Hello? Anybody home?" twice. Pulled up to the window, honked my horn twice, still nobody home. All lights on, but nobody there.

I just called this location 10 minutes after ordering from them to report the fact that our Burrito macho combo had a sprite that was basically seltzer water and a piece of plastic in the macho burrito, a 2 in piece of plastic bag or something! This location better make it right, or else I’m never ever ever ever coming back!

Employees are rude and can't be bothered to deal with customer issues. I went through the drive thru and my food wasn't packed correctly into the bags, so as I was driving it fell and spilled all over my floor. The first guy I talked to was rude, with an attitude, and just handed the phone over to the "manager" without even telling me anything. The "manager" also had an attitude and basically refused to resolve the issue. So, I was left to clean up two whole chili cheese fries off my floor, with the THREE napkins they put in my bag. Terrible service, with employees who don't care about quality or customer service.

Plus I Noticed how they handle the food while bagging it....They throw it slam it and at times didn't even care to wrap it securely. I usually like this Del Taco for a late night run, it's quick, cheap, and good. But tonight the staff was extremely incompetent and rude. They gave us our order with no receipt. We didnt check until we got home, there were 2 missing items and drove back. The employee (said she was a manager) was unapologetic and rude saying she just got there and had no idea and can't help because she needs the rest of our food. (No you don't, literally no other restaurant asks for our food when they mess up.) She asked what items we were missing and she said we weren't charged for them. HOW WOULD WE KNOW WITHOUT A RECEIPT?!? And why not offer to make them and charge us for them? Cause she was too busy arguing! After complaining, we finally got the receipt and saw the items were deleted from the order and even those were wrong. My son didn't get his fish burrito, I didn't get my quesadilla taco. Never again.

Their credit card machine declined my perfectly good card (I had just used it somewhere else and later that day I used it again). Fine, it was just over $10 and I didn't need to ruin the day of the person working the drive-thru window. I payed with a $20. Part of the change was almost $3 in dimes. The drive-thru worker said they didn't have any change. It took him a full minute to count the change before handing it to me.

Was looking forward to Del Taco after a long night at work. They forgot our fries and when we came back they were very rude and snooty about it and said “its just a small fries”. It doesn’t matter if its a small fry order . If we paid for it , we should get it. They made us wait 5 minutes by window to get the fries despite seeing us. Literally ignored us and sat with his elbow perched on counter. Then had nerve to tell me its just a small fry. The medium sprite we paid for was completely flat and flavorless.

Supposed to be open at 7am. Waited till 7:12am and no one would answer. Knocked on the door and the employee just waved her hands saying closed.

I went to pick up my order after 14 minutes order was place, When I get to the drive thru the cashier told me my order wasn't ready and to wait and come back later or go inside. I waited on the parking lot for another 10 minutes then went to the drive thru and she said order was ready but when I went to the window I couldn't reach my food because she couldn't stretch a little bit. She was rude all the time . If she's not happy there she shouldn't work there . I was a cashier for 15 years and never got that actitud.

New or not, employees need to be cordial and mindful. I waited for over 30 minutes for a single order. All I got was an employee with a bad attitude that refused to serve and ignored and dismissed my attempts to bring my situation to his attention. However, the place does have a gem: Genesis. She saw the situation and approached me to solve it. She fought hard to help and made things happen. Experience was mostly negative but the positive also happened. Thank you Genesis.

Ordered using DoorDash not sure but all of my food was cold. Try to heat it up in the microwave and it helped a little bit. Ordered eight hot sauce packets only received two. Not the best experience.

Hands down the worse Del Taco in the Valley, the drive up to the Saticoy one is worth the drive. I ordered AND WAS CHARGED for extra guacamole, got home and not only was the extra missing, the original scoop wasn’t in there either. The meat was burnt and tasted a day old. How horrible!
