I’ve been coming to Yagumo Sushi for over 10 years, and it’s hands down one of my favorite sushi spots. The quality is always consistent, the fish is fresh, and the staff treats you like family. Their lunch specials are truly amazing—generous portions, fresh ingredients, and great prices that make it easy to come back again and again. And if you’re a fan of hand rolls, you’ll love their incredible selection—there’s something for everyone. But the real standout? The Ninja Hand Roll. It’s packed with flavor, perfectly crafted, and just hits differently. I’ve had it countless times, and it never gets old. Another fun and unique touch is their Hand Roll Challenge—if you’re brave enough to try one of their spice level 10 rolls and finish it, you win a free t-shirt and a spot on their legendary Wall of Fame. The wall has hundreds of winners over the years, and it’s always cool to see how many people have taken on the heat. Yagumo Sushi is a true local gem that’s earned its loyal following. Amazing family owned restaurant with reasonable prices for good quality sushi! The hand rolls and cut rolls are delicious! We tried the No.10 challenge and let me tell you they do not play! You have to try the No.8 spice level first and we couldn’t even finish that one, sooooo spicy, had to tap out! I would recommend this place to anyone in the area, the owner is super sweet and extremely dedicated to his work!

My Husband first introduced to Sushi at this spot 13 years ago!!!! Since then this has been my spot and all three of our daughters have each had their first sushi experience here as well! We've tried other places that are okay but the warmth of the owner and the quality of the sushi doesn't compared. I have my usual must haves every time I go plus I'm always trying new things off the menu. Great "little hole in the wall" place!

Been to quite a few sushi places and this place is honestly my favorite. It's kind of a hole in the wall, but the quality of everything is always great especially considering how cheap it is and the service is great. I've tried pretty much all of their nigiri, and quite a few of their rolls. They also make the best baked green mussels I've ever had! The sauce is always on point and the mussels are tender. And I know it's so simple but the bean sprout salad is so addicting I could eat a huge bowl of it. Will definitely continue coming here 👍

Took our one and a half year-old grandson here and he powered down the California rolls and the Philadelphia rolls. He even liked my salmon eggs! We love the food and it was nice and The music selection was perfect. Going back!

This restaurant is amazing! I went last night for my Birthday. We ordered a Philly Roll, an L Roll, and a Special California Roll. The staff were courteous and attentive, refilling my drink before i knew it needed it, and whisking plates away with perfect timing. The sushi bar was very clean and well kept, and the sushi chef was very polite. The moment of truth: The sushi was excellent!! I happen to love the L Roll the most, but found the Special California Roll to be delicious as well. The Philly Roll was also well made, though that was more for my boyfriend. I LOVE this restaurant and will be returning many times in the foreseeable future.
This spot. Is low key but good. Not usually my typical dining preference. But was in the area to get my salmon skin fix. Chefs are up and happy to work. This dude named cameron. Super energetic and fun to sit in front of. He had great recommendations and very humble about how skilled he really is. Definitely recommend this spot to new sushi eaters.

I feel bad writing this because the service was good and the people working were nice. But honestly, the food that I ordered was terrible. The scallop nigiri had 0 flavor, and the special california handroll was alright, but that was the best tasting of the 4 items I ordered. In addition to the scallop nigiri I ordered the spider roll and the albacore. I took one bite of each and couldn't finish. To sum it up, great service, not so great food.

Food was alright. With only two people and a couple of online orders we still didn’t get a roll we ordered. Left a 20% tip either way cause it seemed like a slow night. Shame I really wanted to like this place but def needs a face lift and a menu change.
NEVER will be returning to this nasty place! Now I see why they have multiple health Violations by the county of Public Health! This is the worst place to eat sushi from! They served us rotten scallops and salmon that reeked from 25 ft away! If you want to get extremely sick then eat from here. I knew I should've never tried this place, they were the only place open at the time that is why. Owner doesn't understand or know anything about customer service or his sushi! Besides there rotten fish they had messed up our entire order. I would have rather got Sushi from Ralphs and it would've been 20X times better and fresh. Worst sushi place in the Valley! Stay Away.
