Siamo stati da Cesa in occasione del nostro anniversario di nozze, insieme a nostra figlia di pochi mesi. L’accoglienza da parte dello staff è stata calorosa e attenta, facendoci sentire subito a nostro agio. La cucina ci ha pienamente conquistati: la tartare servita come antipasto era deliziosa e il millefoglie come primo piatto davvero squisito. Un’esperienza molto positiva sotto ogni aspetto – torneremo sicuramente.

Siamo stati in questo locale piccolo ma davvero accogliente. Abbiamo preso lasagne e carbonara: entrambe ottime, ben bilanciate nei sapori e cucinate alla perfezione. Il personale è stato molto gentile e simpatico, ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. Un’esperienza molto piacevole, ci torneremo volentieri!

bellissimo ristorantino nelle contrade di Varenna con staff gentile e disponibile. abbiamo provato la millefoglie di lasagne e i raviolini, beh che dire BUONISSIMI. abbiamo anche diviso una tartelletta alle fragole. il tavolo di fianco a noi si lamentava delle porzioni, sinceramente non mi sento di condividere quello che dicevano.. noi ci siamo alzati dal tavolo pieni e soddisfatti! uno dei migliori posti a Varenna! SUPER CONSIGLIATO 🫶

Ottimo ristorantino nelle contrade, con pochi piatti ma fatti bene. La vera cucina italiana! Tartare di fassona, che era fuori menu,davvero ottima. Raviolini abbondanti e delicati.

Cibo italiano delizioso e tradizionale, il prezzo è alto ma ne vale la pena.

Su suggerimento di un amico ho mangiato in questo locale e devo dire che ha soddisfatto appieno le aspettative. Cibo molto buono, personale gentile! Ci torneró

I particularly enjoy their Carpaccio di Cervo. The overall flavor is very unique and extremely appetizing. At first, I thought it might be a bit too salty and sweet, but the chef added a small amount of ground Sichuan pepper to the dish, which elevated the overall taste.

We stayed in Varenna for 4 nights but been here on our first and last nights. We went here on our 1st night and came back on our last night. We were looking for some “authentic” restaurants but couldn’t find any in the area. We read the reviews and came early before the opening for dinner, around 5:45p. The food was super good. Their menu is quite small and not a book like others in the region but they seem to master what they’re doing. C Their lasagna is really the best I ever had so far. The meat is some sort of stews that is cooked for a long time so it’s very tender and tasty. Other dishes like gnocchi or alfredo are also good but lasagna is still my favorite. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Restaurant is quite small but it’s definitely worth trying. The waiting area outside has a good view of the lake. I would def recommend it and will come back here if I ever come back to Lake Como.

Got there 15 minutes before they opened for dinner and were second in line before the queue was full. Worth the wait because they’ve mastered their small menu. Food was incredible. Definitely the small homey Italian feel that we were looking for. Local wine selection is also great and reasonably priced.

We started off with the beef tartar and tomato burrata salad, both were delicious. White wine from Como was very good and so was the limoncello. The lasagna was so good I could have ordered two. The Alfredo with truffle was very good but I am 100% serious when I say that this was the best lasagna I have ever tasted. I see some people talking about service lacking… it is two people trying to serve 30. If you are not patient enough to wait 10 minutes you shouldn’t have the privilege of eating here. We will be going back as soon as we can. Affogatos to finish was definitely the cherry on top. Do not listen to the bad reviews.

Best Tiramisu we have had in Italy so far, very thick and unbelievably tasty. Hubs had the Alfredo, said was seasoned so well, so fresh and creamy. The lasagne was the best food I've had so far in Italy, the tomato sauce so simple but so flavourful. Nothing has come close to this meal so far. 1000% recommend.

Okay, this lasagna? So good. Like a homey pork stew wrapped with noodles and cream. The paccheri was also delicious. Wrapped the meal up with the panacotta, which was also amazing. To sum it up - I really enjoyed this meal! There can be a line, so come early if possible! That being said, we only waited 20+ minutes (Monday around 12:45pm).

Phenomenal restaurant in Varenna. It lives up to the hype. Came for lunch on a Saturday, no wait as we arrived at 11:45. No line up to 12. Seats filled quick with a line forming around 12:20. The food here is phenomenal. A simple menu that they’ve perfected. Tomato salad appetizer was THE BEST. So good. I would wait in any line just for that. Then the pastas were amazing. Ragu and carbonara were both so good! Lots of meat in the ragu and also bacon in the carbonara. It’s just pure amazing! We were so filled up. The meals are perfect size with an appetizer. I saw some said it was too small but I didn’t think that at all and I usually eat a lot. Staff was very attentive as well, but not pushy with the line forming. Fantastic experience!

La Scarpetta was fantastic. We had the fettuccine Alfredo with truffle (top 5 meal of all time) and the carbonara (also fantastic). Do not skip the basil panna cotta with strawberries…it was incredible. Service was really great/friendly!! Highly recommend getting there about 10-15 mins before opening to get one of the 14 seats inside or 6 seats outside.

La Scarpetta is a tiny gem tucked away on a charming cobblestone street in Varenna — no lake view from your table, but the food more than makes up for it. We had the truffle fettuccine alfredo (unreal!) and the paccheri with tomato sauce and buffala — both absolutely incredible. There’s no reservation system, so we arrived about 10 minutes before opening and found a small line already forming. You can grab a drink while you wait about 45 min for first service and enjoy a beautiful lake view from just across the street. Highly recommend if you’re a pasta lover looking for quality food and authentic charm. It’s worth the wait. 🍝

One of the best meals we had on our entire trip! Everything we tried was top quality and tasted incredible. The atmosphere was great, it’s a small restaurant which allows the staff to create a rapport with their customers and provide a great level of service. This is a must visit whilst in Varenna - don’t miss it!

This cute little restaurant is the best in Varenna, service was impeccable and the food so good we went back two nights in a row. Among the 2 of us we tried all pastas from the limited menu and would highly recommend every one of them. Also the tiramisu was one of the best we ever had.

This is the best restaurant I ate at during my 4 days on Lake Como. The restaurant is very small, with just a couple of tables inside and outside. The service is fast and very friendly. We had the smoked trout appetizer, the lasagna, the carbonara, and the tiramisu. I think I will dream about the lasagna and carbonara tonight. If I were staying on Lake Como for another night I'd absolutely come back here. Make sure you get here before they open so you don't have to wait in a long line.

Tiny restaurant with great food, well made, tasty and recommended.we didn't have to wait because we arrived a few minutes before they opened. Usually there is a line (they don't take reservations). The service was friendly and very attentive. We are vegetarians and ordered the insalata with tomatoes (so delicious!!! )pasta with traffuls Which was amazing and delicious, and also the pasta with the buratta and tomato sauce that I couldn't stop eating. For dessert ordered the tiramisu, Which was also great, just the right amount to enjoy. thank you for a great experience!!!

The waiters were nice, service not too slow and not too fast either. The food was amazing : fresh pasta made instantly, cooked to perfection with great sauce. We also had the cheese and charcuterie platter, all products were of good quality. We arrived at opening time so we didn’t wait, but by the time we left there was a eaiting line. Highly recommend

Arrived around 8pm on a Saturday evening, so we had to wait in line because they don’t take reservations. The wait took about 45m and was well worth it. The beef tartar was out of this world. So were the lasagna, carbonara, and tiramisu. Small menu but incredibly good. Service very good. This place is a must visit in Varenna.

This is an excellent Italian restaurant. Probably the best in Varenna. There are 3 tables for 2 (and a kid) outside. They are worth waiting for or queuing for ahead of 1200 hr opening. At lunchtime there was a choice of 4 appetizers and 4 pastas. And they all contain local twists and innovative tweaks. A good selection of local wines as well. Didn’t have room for dessert but they looked good on others’ tables.

This little hole in the wall is a gem!! We waited for a table but it was well worth it. The food comes out quickly, so tables turn over in a reasonable time. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We had our baby with us and they were very helpful and attentive to his needs. We ordered chef salad, which was fresh, hearty, and delicious with homemade Caesar dressing. We both also ordered pasta which did not disappoint. This is in our top five meals in Italy!

Buon ristorante antipasto nella norma buoni i primi,servizio gentile e premuroso unico neo (forse dettato dalla frenesia), è stato offerto il calice di rosé di mia moglie(per la festa della donna!),ma poi nel conto era cmq presente quindi l'ho pagato!🤷

The carbonara’ sauce came out as cooked egg instead of a creamy sauce as the kitchen definitely mixed it when it was too hot. Other images of it from other peoples reviews seem way better, but very disappointing that they would serve this when it looked obviously dry. The Alfredo was good and came with a generous portion of truffle.

Porzioni piccolissime per piatti da 18 euro. Nemmeno un bambino si sarebbe saziato.
