Bellissima cena tra amici in questo locale raccolto con una bellissima atmosfera..antipasti ottimi, sia il crudo che l’antipasto misto, il risotto poi era veramente ben fatto!! Menzione particolare per il personale che ci ha seguito benissimo e con cui abbiamo fatto una simpatica chiacchierata!!

Abbiamo trovato questo piccolo ma fantastico ristorante, dopo esserci persi a Venezia. Non poteva capitarci esperienza migliore! Ci ha accolto molto gradevolmente la Signora Larissa, che ci ha fatto accomodare e metterci subito a proprio agio, pur non avendo appunto prenotato. Il posto è piccolo ma accogliente e se si vuole intimo. Abbiamo cenato scegliendo due antipasti di mare assolutamente di prima qualità, tutto freschissimo e gustosissimo, crudo per la mia fidanzata, cotto per me. Ho saltato il primo, visto l’abbondanza delle porzioni per gustare un secondo di pesce all’ arancia che ho trovato prelibato, la mia compagna ha scelto una zuppa di ceci e pesce che ho assaggiato, delicato e gustoso allo stesso tempo. Panna cotta di produzione casalinga da 10! Torneremo a Venezia e sicuramente mangeremo ancora quì, prezzo ottimo in rapporto all’ottima qualità di ciò con cui abbiamo cenato. 5 stelle meritatissime!! Trovato per caso questo ristorante in una piccola calle siamo stati colpiti subito dall’ambiente familiare e dalla simpatia e disponibilità della signora Larisa. Abbiamo mangiato un’ottima e abbondante frittura di pesce e verdurine (x 2) annaffiata da un ottimo prosecco. Il dolce non ci stava proprio perciò abbiamo preso la crema dì limoncello fatto in casa. Era talmente buono che abbiamo fatto il bis (mio marito ha raccontato alla signora che li avevo bevuto tutti e due io). Siamo stati molto soddisfatti e sicuramente ci torneremo. Lo abbiamo consigliato al portiere del nostro albergo.

Questo ristorantino è una perla nella vastità dei locali della laguna veneta. Partiamo dal cibo: preparazione accorta e sapori eccezionali, garantiti dalla freschezza del pesce e degli ingredienti utilizzati. Le porzioni sono più che oneste. Il servizio è ottimo, caratterizzato da gentilezza e disponibilità. Inoltre, il locale si trova in una calle poco trafficata e silenziosa, lontana dal via vai turistico. Prezzo proporzionato a quanto offerto e alla città in cui ci si trova. Quando tornerò a Venezia, passerò sicuramente di qui!

The best seafood restaurant we've visited in Venice! A generous platter of seafood and fish in perfectly crispy tempura – delicious shrimp, calamari, mussels, and salmon, served with fresh bread and light, homemade white wine. An ideal dinner for two at a fair price! We first discovered this restaurant back in 2021, and after four years we returned to once again enjoy its incredible flavors. The lovely owner and the chefs welcomed us warmly and even let us stay past closing time – such a kind and memorable experience. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to any couple – a peaceful, atmospheric outdoor restaurant, perfect for a romantic evening.

Ah, to say this was special is an understatement. Tucked away from all the touristy spots, this is the perfect spot for a dinner date. Me and my husband were traveling for our honeymoon and after a week and a half, we began to catch ourselves comparing the restaurants to this one. This one just is the winner every time - especially if you want a true seafood risotto. They’re very gracious with the amount of seafood as well within it!! Do keep in mind, a true risotto takes time to make and the owner - she warned us about it. We ordered the mixed seafood (a venitian classic I believe) and mussels/clams (super flavorful) which were great starters to hold us over for the risotto. Then the risotto came out shortly after and it stood no chance (we used the bread to clean up the left over sauce, flavor was amazing). But what really won over is the chef and his wife. They’re both such great, down to earth, hospitable people who truly want to bring a great venetian experience to you through food. They were so kind to us, and I was very happy to have left this special place being able to give my thanks to the chef/husband for such a great meal. It was our first meal of the honeymoon adventure, so this place holds a special place in our hearts. Their panna cotta was also amazing, so it’s a must try. :)

A truly hidden gem! Try this place and the delicious seafood plates. But save a bit of room for the amazing desserts! The staff is super friendly and very eager to answer your questions. Wow, what amazing food. We went early at opening time so the restaurant wasn't busy at all. The lady was lovely, spoke great english and the food was just amazing. We had the scallop tagliatelle with courgette and the black ink pasta and both were superb. This was our last meal in Venice and so happy we chose this place as it left a lovely last impression.

Best tagliata I’ve had so far in Italy, with veal. Actually the best pasta. Cuttlefish ink pasta was awesome. Tuna steak was extremely generous and was unreal. Venetian style fish platter appetizer was unique and very good. We liked the sea asparagus and sardines in that platter. We had the house white wine and it was an excellent pairing with our meal and was very clean and smooth. This place should be packed but there were only a few people here, very intimate experience. We also liked the fish with orange sauce. Amazing service, and the food came out quickly too. Felt like a mom and pop restaurant in a wonderful way. Finished with limoncello and a wonderful cappuccino.

This restaurant is a gem in Venice. It is a warm and inviting space and the food is incredible - some of the best we had in 2 weeks across Italy. They were able to accommodate us (with a baby stroller) with a last minute reservation. Highly recommend a reservation. The food was also noticeably fresh - one of the menu items specifically had a switched main ingredient because the chef "didn't like the available asparagus" that morning. This is how you know you are eating at a gem. Highly recommend this restaurant which is not your run of the mill "Venice Tourist Trap". Don't second guess yourself.

Fabulous home style meal in the hole in the wall restaurant in the San Polo area. There is no canal view, but they do have an outdoor style seating area which was covered we went due to rain. This delightful place is run by a husband and wife team. We first tried to walk-in on a Friday evening without a booking but unfortunately they were fully booked, so we booked a table for the next night. We had two starters (Mussels & Clams with Toasts + Mixed Raw Seafood Platter Venetian Style) and two pastas for main (Tagliolini with Scallops & Asparagus + Tagliolini with Mixed Seafood). All portions were quite large so we were full at the end of the meal and couldn't have dessert. The starters were definitely the highlight for us, the broth of the Mussels & Clams was so tasty and the raw seafood platter was very fresh. The service by Larisa was friendly and efficient all on her own, plus Virgilio's wonderful cooking. Also very reasonably priced. A great meal and would definitely recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment!

Wow!! Just Wow! We ordered six different things and they were all Fantastic. The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. The cook, her husband, comes out and greats you as well. They take pride in their restaurant and it was such a pleasure to be a guest. What a fabulous place. I’m going to recommend this to everyone I know!!!!

Loved it! They have some great seafood specialties! No lasagne or pizza as you can see in the menu picture. 😁 The portions were generous for the prices charged and the service was very good. Cute place with nice ambiance. Try the soave house wine, which Venice is known for. It goes great with the seafood. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Locale intimo e romantico. Pochissimi coperti all'interno mentre la zona all'aperto i tavoli consentono qualche posto a sedere in più. Consigliata la prenotazione. Ottimi i 2 piatti ordinati, assaporati con gusto. Antipasto: baccalà mantecato e polentina piatto splendido + sarde in saor molto saporite anche questo stupendo. Poiché le 2 pietanze sono serviti insieme, nello stesso piatto, si consiglio di consumare per primo il baccalà mantecato con polentina e a seguire le sarde in saor, questo x nn perdere la delicatezza del baccalà. Com portata a seguire ho scelto un primo, degli ottimi tagliolini al nero di seppia. Delicato e ben preparato. I pezzetti di seppia si scioglievano in bocca. BRAVO CHEF e brava la socia titolare. Lei, molto gentile e premurosa nel servire, attenta ad ogni dettaglio, nel comunicare con gli ospiti stranieri ho notato l'ottima padronanza dell'inglese e del tedesco. Anke se un poco nascosto tra i vicoli di venezia consiglio questo locale. Acqua pane e coperto tutto 32€.

Personale molto cordiale e affabile. Ottimi i tagliolini fatti in casa e la frittura in tempura. Bello il giardino esterno, la sala interna forse un po’ da migliorare.

A hidden gem in Venice — unforgettable! We had an absolutely fantastic dinner here. The food was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented — every course felt like it was made with love. The ambiance is warm, intimate, and authentically Venetian, with cozy vibes that make you want to linger all evening. Our waitress, Laura, was a true standout — friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what she does. She made the experience even more special. One minor miss: the tiramisu. It had an unusual aftertaste — almost like goat milk — and didn’t quite match the excellence of the rest of the meal. But honestly, that’s a small blip in what was otherwise an amazing night. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for quality Venetian food with charm and heart. Will absolutely return!

This restaurant was run by husband and wife. The main' I ordered was pasta with sea food, it was tasty but we had a plate full of Pasta, and very little seafood except for what you can see in the shells, we had calamari sliced very thinly. My friend ordered scallops and asparagus with pasta, she had a plate full of pasta, one scallop sliced very small and 1 asparagus sliced very finely. It was our most expensive meal in Venice but definitely not value for money. The Tiramisu was divine.

A mix of tradition and experimentation… with controversial results. Went for dinner on Saturday. Found place without reservation (at 8:30 pm). We started with a mix of steamed mussels, and a mix of seafood (scampi, salmon, sea bass, tuna fish and St. Jacques). Both were pretty tasty, but some un-conventional ingredients were (my personal taste) taking away a bit of taste (zucchini and onions in the steamed mussels and pineapple on the St. Jacques). Main courses (spaghetti al Nero Di seppia and mixed grilled fish) were controversial too. Spaghetti were very (too) tasty and sticky, likely having some onions in, and resulting not delicate at all and tiring after few bites. Grilled fish was definitely better, even if mustard and soya sauce, served with the fish, were once again (to me) too aggressive ingredients. All in all I like experimental cuisine, but here it has some questionable results. Place is very silent and pleasant. Staff is caring and gentle.

Servizio ok e location carina, ma il cibo lascia a desiderare. Porzioni davvero misere e conto ingiustificato. Il risotto aveva pochissimo pesce ed era a dir tanto tre cucchiaiate. La “grigliata mista” non si può chiamare tale se è fatta sulla piastra. E poi io dico, siamo sull’Adriatico: non puoi servire salmone e tonno (peraltro non fresco) nella “grigliata”. Due scampi minuscoli e una cappa santa. Mi sarei aspettato una sogliola, degli spiedini di seppie o calamari, magari un pezzo di anguilla. Ma non il salmone norvegese da supermercato, dai. Piatti così possono soddisfare solo un turista straniero in visita per la prima volta.

Prezzi elevati per la qualità del cibo. Il pesce non era freschissimo e la pasta sembrava precotta. Sconsigliato
