Absolutely perfect little lunch/dinner spot, surprisingly not as crowded as you would expect! Right on the water, almost under the bridge. Service was fantastic, fast, and super friendly. Also lowkey had the best mussels of my life so far. Extremely recommend!

During our recent trip to Venice, we had the pleasure of dining in this place. Nestled beneath a charming bridge, this enchanting venue offers a veranda that sits directly over the water. As we dined, gondolas and water taxis glided gracefully by, enhancing the already magical atmosphere. The gentle lapping of the water against the foundations provided a soothing soundtrack to our meal, creating an ambiance of unparalleled romance. While the setting was nearly perfect, the addition of soft music would have elevated the experience even further. Nevertheless, the combination of exquisite cuisine and the mesmerizing waterside setting made for an unforgettable evening. Wanted to eat lunch on the grand canal this place more than fit the bill. Just passing by at lunchtime and scored a table for two on the water. Loved the three men who waited on us. All warm and attentive and the food was good too!

We really expected this venue to be a tourist trap, most of Venice is. Im used to surly service, basic food and low value for money. However this was just perfect! Really delicious simple plates and very friendly service. We sat right on the water next to the famous bridge and felt very tranquil! Would highly recommend.

Perfect location on the canal but more importantly food was delicious! We ordered fresh seabass with potatoes. Delicious fresh fish! Also ordered pesto spaghetti with shrimp, mixed salads, aperol spritzs, espresso. The staff was friendly and made our meal enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I come here every time I come to Venice and was very happy to dine here by myself for my last meal of this trip. Ristorante Al Buso is very reasonably priced offering super tasty food with a stunning view of the Rialto Bridge. My favourite is the Spaghetti Vongole with a nice Barolo, it doesn’t get much better! Will be back again for sure on my next visit.

What a location !!! Eating dinner right on the riverside as Gondolas float by. Pasta with mussels was by far the best food that I had on my trip and the service was friendly and attentive. The feeling that you are almost under the Rialto bridge as you are dining only adds to the ambiance. Considering the fantastic location it was not that expensive.

Se si consuma all' esterno questo ristorante ha una vista spettacolare sulla laguna e sul ponte di Rialto eccezionale. L' antipasto misto di pesce ottimo gli spaghetti allo scoglio buoni dessert splendido anche lo spritz. Servizio impeccabile e attento alle esigenze dei clienti anche se 7 euro pagati in piu' per il servizio un po' pesano.

Un ristorante situato in una location splendida. Abbiamo mangiato bene per essere in una zona super turistica, delle linguine all’astice. Il menù è veramente lungo e improntato sul turista straniero. Il servizio è gentile e veloce.

Ristorante proprio sotto un lato del ponte di Rialto, l’unico in questa posizione. Tavoli all’aperto piuttosto stretti. Bello se siete proprio a bordo scalini, meno se siete verso la strada perché c’è sempre un caos incredibile e con ogni probabilità la gente vi passerà accanto X fare foto (l’ho visto con i miei occhi) Il cibo è buono, prezzi alti ma vista la posizione è ovvio. Ci siamo fermate quasi per caso, attirare dall'offerta cicchetti ma subito persuase da chi ci ha servite, che con destrezza e SIMPATIA ci ha suggerito tutt'altro, un ottimo piatto di assaggi di pesce, per chiudere un dessert al pistacchio. La posizione poi del locale sotto il ponte Rialto una cornice perfetta. Prezzi giusti.

Beautiful canal view! The team was short-staffed but still did their best to take care of the tables, which I appreciated. One star off because the waiter repeatedly refused to answer whether the vegetable pasta contained eggplant, even when I kindly asked if he could check with the kitchen. It was a personal preference for me but could easily have been an allergy. Especially since the vegetarian options are already very limited, this felt unnecessary and not great service.

Hanno un menu, che accompagna 1 piatto e un secondo piatto di carne o pesce, io ho optato per la carne, ma non è carne. Sul menu c'è scritto braciola di manzo, ma quando arriva è una bistecca di petto di pollo impanata.

Ristorante con una bellissima location, proprio con vista sul ponte di rialto , prezzi da località turistica però se passate dei giorni a Venezia fermatevi qui se volete portarvi un bellissimo ricordo in un ristorante proprio sul mare, cibo discreto personale che sembrerebbe che ti volesse fregare ma tutto sommato sono abbastanza tranquilli. El propietario está totalmente loco se pone a gritar a los trabajadores delante de los clientes y a recoger las mesas como un loco intimidando incluso a los turistas que intentan hacerse una foto , pediría a las autoridades italianas a no permitirle gestionar un negocio. Destruyen el turismo de las ciudades. La peor experiencia de mi vida en un restaurante Il proprietario è completamente matto, comincia a urlare contro gli operai davanti ai clienti e a sparecchiare come un forsennato, intimidendo anche i turisti che tentano di farsi una foto. Chiederei alle autorità italiane di non permettergli di gestire un'attività . Distruggono il turismo nelle città. La peggiore esperienza della mia vita in un ristorante

We were there the evening of August 27th, 2025. The food is quite mediocre but the location right on the Grand Canal is very nice and if they put you under the umbrellas it almost feels away from the hordes at the Rialto bridge. After we paid our bill, which included a 12% service charge, the waiter came over to us to say that that charge was not for him but for the restaurant. We felt compelled to tip him again in cash, 20 euros for a 218 euro bill. I never heard of such a thing and felt angry at being connived in this way and sorry for the waiter if it is true that the house does not distribute the tips to the wait staff.

Personale scortese di una maniera unica! A differenza dell'ospitalità e della cordialità dei Veneziani queste persone sono scostumate e di una arroganza unica! La signora ed uno dei camerieri giovani dovrebbe avere lezioni di civiltà. Hanno la fortuna di essere nel posto più bello del mondo ma ne approfittano!

servizio disgustoso, il cameriere di colore é stato un maleducato che si lamentava per la richiesta di un cliente di muovere la tenda per pararsi dal sole, in piu' abbiamo aspettato 4 ore per un piatto di quantità molto discreta e minima di pasta.

I resent having to give any stats at all! Worst dining experience we had during our 6 week European holiday. Food was far too quick to be freshly cooked. Chicken was reheated from being precooked and sauce tasted like it had come out of a can. No sooner had we finished our meal, we had an aggressive waiter asking us to leave. We still had wine left to drink and we were made to feel very uncomfortable. This restaurant soured our Venice experience!

The dining experience was deeply unsatisfactory. The dishes lacked flavor and quality, especially given the unreasonably high prices. Unfortunately, the service was even worse than the food. Our waiter was not only dismissive and arrogant throughout the meal but also reacted rudely when questioned about the bill. To make matters worse, he openly complained about not receiving a tip. Such behavior is unacceptable in any professional setting. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking good food, fair value, or respectful service

The restaurant is in a beautiful location and has an appealing atmosphere, but unfortunately our experience with the service was very disappointing. We sat down and looked at the menu, but since they didn’t serve pizza we decided not to order food and only had drinks. Once we informed the staff, their attitude immediately changed, they were visibly unfriendly, went inside pointing at us, and when I asked if there was an issue, they denied it sarcastically. This kind of behavior makes guests feel uncomfortable. The owner should really teach the staff to treat all customers with respect, regardless of how much they order. Sadly, because of this experience, we would not return.

I ask for a coffee, nobody at any table, they said I need to order also pasta. They prefer to loose clients than to have the proper ones. They can have a lot of customers with only coffee because people are making loong line to make pictures exactly near the place.
