Sono partita da Genova con l'intenzione di venire a mangiare qui e ho fatto bene!!! Cibo ottimo, sia pizze che primi, per non parlare poi del tiramisu. Posizionato su un canale, d'estate sarà ancora più bello immagino con i tavolini fuori. Noi essendo inverno abbiamo mangiato, locale in stile un po antico con travi a vista. Personale gentilissimo. Ve lo consiglio!

Ho festeggiato la mia laurea in questo ristorante sul canale fuori dalle rotte turistiche. È stato organizzato un rinfresco con cicchetti tipici, sfiziosità fritte e affettati e anche un risotto cacio, pepe e guanciale; tutto accompagnato da spritz e prosecco. Era tutto abbondante e di ottima qualità. Sono stata piacevolmente sorpresa dal servizio e dalla gentilezza del personale. Mi è stata riservata una saletta privata per 20 persone dove abbiamo potuto festeggiare in tutta tranquillità serviti seduti. Ogni esigenza è stata esaudita al meglio. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Di passaggio a Venezia in arrivo dalla costa azzurra abbiamo visto passeggiando questo ristorante. Una delizia dall'antipasto al dolce. Bellissima serata in famiglia discutendo con il proprietario che ci ha proposto ottimi piatti e bevande. Ottimi digestivo. Veramente da provare!

Amazing spot for a meal out of the crowded streets of Venice. The location is fantastic if you'd like to enjoy a moment of quiet in an otherwise very busy city. The food is great and very well thought & prepared. You'll be extremely well looked after too. Praise to Roberto who looked after us splendidly. Will be back for sure.

Beautiful restaurant located at the canale. We booked via the fork and had a 50 percent discount. The Spaghetti vongole tasted very fine. Do not dare to order Parmigiano to this dish. The waiter will not be amused (: The only negative aspect was the coperta, which was not worth its money. All in all, I would highly recommend this place.

Burgizza

So far in a week in Venice this was our favorite. Pizza, pasta superb!!! I had the octopus as well and it was grilled perfectly, tender and flavorful. Overall I wish I came her first. There’s tons of places to eat, however this place feels more authentic. Great seating outside ;) oh yeah the melon prosciutto is 💯🫶🏻❤️❤️❤️

Great pizza place! A restaurant a local recommended us and we weren't disappointed. A large variety of pizzas with reasonable prices (something not that common in Venice) and good service. They're fast and polite and the location is excellent as you're next to a canal and there aren't that many people passing by.

This restaurant has a really good atmosphere and is very lively. It gets busy soon, so either reserve or come early. If it's good weather, definitely sit outside. The place is really good for its pizza as it's a pizzeria after all. Although one of the restaurant's signature dish, the Scoglione is nothing but one of the best things to be had in Venice. The pizza is very reasonable but other prices are a bit touristic and hence a little bit higher but still it's worth it. The staff are super friendly too. Overall a really good restaurant.

Ate SO much and it was all delicious. Large portion sizes with reasonable prices— pizza is €8-11 and it’s sizeable. Mains are mostly €15. Couldn’t decide between a calamari or burrata and meat plate so they just gave me “half” of each (full was €16, half was about €10). Food was fresh, cooked perfectly, exceptionally delicious. Thank you!!

On a short break holiday visit one off the places I stopped off to eat.. Had a meal here ..was lovely. .. Well presented..tastes great. Ravioli. . Clean ..staff friendly. .. Went at a quite time of year...December but was a lovely evening meal .. Not badly priced either...😙

I almost didn't want to write a review because I don't want this place to get overrun. A quiet respite from the hyped buzzing tourist scene of Venice. Mostly locals, friendly service, idyllic view of a little canal.

Sono stato in questo locale più volte ed ho sempre ricevuto un ottima accoglienza accompagnata da del cibo di ottima qualità. Consiglio sia le pizze, condite in modo equilibrato, con un buon impasto, cotte molto bene. Sia la cucina tradizionale. Ottimo sia il baccalà mantecato, servito su della polenta nera, che il fritto misto. Croccante ed asciutto , di pescato del giorno estremamente fresco. Tornerò di sicuro.

We came here for lunch, the place is fine and located in a quiet area, nothing crowded. We ordered several pizzas and house wine. Nothing was extraordinarily rich, but the truth is that the quantities were large and not bad. The service very friendly and attentive. Good option if you are in the area, you are hungry and you fancy a pizza. The right prices.

Decent for a standard Venetian place, and at a good price. Came here cause trying to go to the crepes place nextdoor which is rarely and inconsistently open, so we were pleased with the food and service at got here. My wife was extremely pleased with her Lupin pizza, which is a pepperoni pizza with french fries baked in. I got the ravioli filled with cheese, squash and served in a cream sauce with scallops. Not bad. I wish I'd gotten the whole grilled fish I saw being served up at another table, that looked amazing

Hotel stile veneziano in località Cannaregio. Ristrutturato in parte, alcune stanze calde altre fredde. Soazio saletta colazione piccola.

Sufficente ma senza guizzi particolari lo “scoglione” (calzone ripieno di spaghetti ai frutti di mare), nella media gli gnocchi al ragù.

Good location. Nice options sing for dinner. No hot breakfast options for breakfast. No kettle in the room. Advantage is that the boat stop is just outside the hotel.

The waiters are incredibly rude and constantly try to force you to spend. Don't eat pizza here; you'll get the worst Italian pizza. Their cheese isn't mozzarella; it's like leather. The flour used in the oven is out in the open, not in a sealed container. This restaurant's value for money is terrible.

The food is very... Maritime to say the least.. whole deep fried prawns complete with shell and anchovies with bones. Paid 70 euroes for a 5 course meal.. we enjoyed about 2 of them.

Niente, ho prenotato due mesi fa con The Fork una cena di compleanno per 8 persone. Sconto 50%. Alle 16 dello stesso giorno mi danno disdetta perché il ristorante è chiuso. Chiamo, rispondono al telefono e mi propongono uno sconto del 30% senza prenotare con l'applicazione. Che dire... Peccato. Cenerò da un'altra parte. Serietà zero.

Personale di una scortesia mai vista, prenotato su the fork non ha accettato la prenotazione in quanto fatta da me 5 min prima e nonostante the fork dava il tavolo disponibile! Ha esordito dicendo che accetta solo prenotazione su the fork fatte almeno un’ora prima!!! Puoi anche servire il migliore cibo della laguna (da verificare) ma non si deve mai dimenticare educazione e la sdoganata frase… il cliente ha sempre ragione! Pessimo!

This review is for my time in Oct 2025, just writing this a little late. I made a reservation for dinner through The Fork, and the staff was incredibly rude treating my party. Although our reservation was well before closing time, we felt rushed when looking over the dessert options as our server stated they needed to catch a bus home. The vibe was completely off, they kept making comments such as “you have discount from The Fork” and “do your best to help me”. I honestly liked the food (I like mushy pasta btw) but the service was really not it. Would recommend some other options in Venice over this.

Not good experience. The restaurant is filled with oily smoky smell from back kitchen. I ordered seafood spaghetti,one of mussels must be rotten and the whole plate is smelly and stinky. I ask for a return but they told me the smell is from garlic because they put lots of garlics there. Garlic is aromatic and smells good, but honestly no matter how much garlics you put there won’t cover the smell from the rotten seafood. No joke,they treated me like I have never had any seafood in my life. The Tiramisu is just so so.

I went to this restaurant on 4th August around 5h34 pm . As a Black traveler who has visited over 30 countries and been living in different continents , I was disappointed by my experience here during my first week in Italy for visiting. The food was delicious, and one staff member gave professional service, which I appreciated. But I couldn’t ignore the fact that I was treated with coldness when I arrived — while other guests were welcomed warmly. I felt watched throughout the meal. A man stood outside near the entrance until I paid, then went back inside immediately. That kind of subtle monitoring made me feel distrusted and unwelcome, even though I was respectful and left a tip. When I passed by the next day, the same staff member avoided eye contact, even as I was about to say hello. Having traveled to more than 30 countries, I know when I’m being treated differently — this was one of those moments. I hope the business reflects on how it treats guests of all backgrounds. Real hospitality is more than just good food or polite service — it’s about human respect.

Pizza was nice, not bad. There was one man who seemed to be the boss who was older and he was very nice but the younger bloke who served us was a right smarmy tourist hating git despite our attempts at Italian all evening. The pasta was defo microwave (see images!!!) , not exactly great to have a microwave on display. All in all it was fine and not too expensive and if the other man had served us it would have been a much better experience!!!
