Fantastico. Tornare qui dopo la mia ultima visita a Venezia è stato un grande piacere. Grande gentilezza e disponibilità del personale, prezzi ottimi e per quanto io non sia un intenditore del genere direi cibo strepitoso. In particolare ci è piaciuto molto il budino di riso. L'ambiente è accogliente e caratteristico. Unica nota negativa è il bagno che era sporco, ma questo per colpa dei maleducati che lo usano... Se ricapiterò a Venezia tornerò di sicuro.

Ottima scelta di pietanze dal medio oriente. Il personale è gentilissimo e simpatico! Le pietanze sono gustose e le porzioni perfette per poter scegliere più combinazioni senza eccedere. Ho accompagnato la mia cena con una deliziosa bibita iraniana allo zafferano: dissetante e leggera. Ho concluso con una panna cotta vegana allo zafferano, da sogno!

Se volete un posticino più tranquillo, staccato dal tragitto e dai soliti locali italiani per turisti potete optare per questo localino orientale. Piatti pakistani, bengalesi, iraniani: cous cous con le verdure, dahal di lenticchie, hummus di ceci… Un’esperienza da fare come suggerisce il nome del locale. Personale molto accogliente. Buono.

Superconsigliato, possibilità di ordinare alla carta o di fare menù a più opzioni. Buonissimo tutto, ragazzi stra gentili. Tantissima scelta per vegani o vegetariani. Servizio rapido ed ottimo.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo a mangiare qui per cena, oltre ad avere un sacco di opzioni vegetariane lo staff è molto accogliente e l’ambiente è molto carino, consiglio!

Pur non amando la cucina orientale, mi sono trovata molto bene perché l' assortimento di piatti proposti accontenta i gusti di tutti. Ambiente molto bello e curato, personale disponibile, prezzi adeguati rendono questo ristorante veramente interessante sia per un turista che per il residente.

Una vera esperienza di ristorante. Molte scelte variegate e provenitenti da diversi luoghi del medio oriente. Il locale aiuta molto nel creare l'atmosfera da ristorante esotico, con mura colorate, tavoli e sedie particolari. Il cibo non è da meno, il mio tris preferito è riso Kabuli, pollo con salsa yogurt e mele e salsa tzatziki. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottima considerati i prezzi medi di Venezia. Ottimo ristorante dove si vuole fare esperienza di qualcosa di nuovo e sorprendentemente buono.

Bel locale e situato in una zona tranquilla di Venezia (noi abbiamo cenato qui i primi di Ottobre). Quello che abbiamo consumato era buonissimo e sicuramente ritorneremo; ci sono molte scelte di piatti e di varie provenienze. Immancabili (ovviamente) molte scelte vegane-vegetariane. Buono il servizio.

Dentro non l'ho visto perché abbiamo mangiato fuori ma devo dire che il cibo è ottimo! Fantastica l'idea di poter abbinare più piatti da paesi diversi ad un costo basso per la quantità di cibo che ti arriva. Il personale è gentilissimo. La ragazza che ci ha servito è stata molto molto carina spiegandoci come funzionava l'ordinazione e a me in particolare ha anche spiegato ulteriormente cosa aspettarmi da un determinato piatto, nel caso non mi piacesse. Sicuramente ci ritorno e faccio anche qualche foto in più!

Una bella esperienza, un mix di cucina dall'oriente, di buona qualità. Prezzi modici, bella atmosfera e simpatia unica dei ragazzi che ci lavorano. Ci torno ogni volta che vengo a Venezia. Novembre 2023. E anche quest'anno, visita d'obbligo.

What a lovely restaurant in a quiet side street. What had been sacamed earlier in the day by a restaurant by the Grand Canal, Canal Grande, and it spoiled our day, until we found this place. Staff were very nice and helpfu, especially the female staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the prices were very reasonable. They didn't even put the service charge on the bill. We went there twice! We would recommend that.

We had a lovely lunch at Orient Experience. As vegetarians we were spoiled for choice. The falafel starters were delicious - the smoked aubergine dip was fantastic. The spinach borek was average. We had a nice mixed plate that we shared. The service was great at first as it wasn't busy but once the lunch rush started there was only one person serving the tables so it was a bit chaotic. That said it was delicious and we will be back.

There are times in your life where you might take a wrong turn or sit in the wrong seat, and it works out for the better… like, completely changes your day. This was one of those choices; we were supposed to go to Orient Express… another 10 minutes walk. After we sat here, got a beer and ordered food, we realized that we hadn’t made it to our intended destination. The food was a God send. A chilly, windy and rainy evening in Venice, and this place was just what we needed to get that enjoyment feeling back. Highly recommend!! And great for vegan!!

After eating here I was shocked to see that there were only 4.5 stars listed on reviewing the Orient Experience. This place deserves five stars. The food was absolutely phenomenal, best hummus I’ve ever eaten, the dal was perfect and the shish kwar chicken delicious- all for an excellent price. I loved to see the many dishes from Syria, Pakistan, Lebanon, etc. 1000% recommended. As someone who is only passing through, I really appreciated the beautiful, clean bathroom stocked with soap, warm water and the option of paper towels or air dryer.

Absolutely amazing restaurant, it was so good we went back twice. This restaurant is a hidden gem! As soon as you walk in you can smell all the spices and it makes you want more. We opted for a selection of food so we could try it all and my personal favourite was the Pakistani chicken. The food was so full of flavour and the portion sizes were big, I struggled to eat it all and the second time we went for starters. The service was very good and attentive, the host could see I was struggling with the heat (not of the food) and pointed the air conditioner and fan towards me. There were other people in the restaurant and we could not help but look over and see what they had. It all looked so good, we have said if we go back to Venice then this is the first place we will go to.

Homemade style food. You get options of 2, 3 or 5 in the menu. We got mantu with chickpeas, beef stew, beef biryani, fried vegetables with yogurt, falafel, kufta, lemon chicken, chicken in cream, all tasty. Biryani seemed like it is leftover from yesterday. Mostly a good sample of Afghani cuisine. A worth try.

We really loved this restaurant! Any of the chicken dishes are amazing, and the rice pudding for dessert was so delicious and unique! Service and food presentation was also exceptional. Definitely visit if you’re in Venice and want something other than pizza/pasta!

After spending 2 days of eating just pizza and pasta (vegetarian only due to being Muslim) we decided to try restaurants further afield. Honestly, this has to be one of the best places I’ve eaten. The food was impeccable. Beautifully seasoned and cooked. Presentation was great. The decor was beautiful as well, understated. Absolutely would recommend you dine here whilst in Venice.

Saw this place in the BBC TV series and really liked the multicultural ethos of the restaurant. Visited on the last day of our trip to have lunch. The restaurant is conveniently located en-route to the train station. Good food choices with generous portions all at a very reasonable price. Staff were superb, explaining all the options and helping us to choose the suitable combinations. Really a great place to have meals. Friendly atmosphere with a good mix of the local residents and the visitors. It is still one of the best kept secrets so unlike some touristy places in Venice, you would not be rushed and could take as long as possible you need to finish your meal and perhaps have a conversation with the locals.

Locale piccolo, ma accogliente, a pochi passi dalla fondamenta della misericordia. Ha posti sia all'esterno che all'interno con una sala molto colorata. Il cibo è buono, uno dei pochi ristoranti etnici a Venezia, isola. Consiglio il kabuli, il quorma e i samosa. Il pollo è un po' secco e il sugo con cui è servito non aiuta a migliorarlo. Ho preso il menù di 5 scelte da 18 euro. Tutto sommato ancora molto accessibile. Con un coperto di 2 euro, senza pane. Noi avevamo chiesto anche una naan, ma non ci è arrivata, abbiamo pensato che la cameriera non lo avesse inserito in ordine e non lo abbiamo richiesta. Però alla cassa ce lo hanno messo in conto, una volta fatto notare alla cassiera, lei si è scusata e l'ha tolta. Può capitare. Il locale aveva solo una decina di persone, quindi non molto affollato, il servizio e l'attenzione ai dettagli è da migliorare.

Sono stata per pranzo con amici. Locale molto carino in centro a Campo Santa Margherita. I menù a prezzo fisso sono molto convenienti (9€ o 11€) e ti permettono di crearti il tuo piatto scegliendo tra diversi accostamenti di pietanze orientali. Ottimo servizio, gentile e sorridente, che ci ha messo a nostro agio.

Ci sono pochi posti a Venezia nei quali poter mangiare bene al giusto prezzo, questo locale è uno dei pochi 😊. Molto convenienti i menù, soprattutto quelli da 3 o 5 scelte: praticamente si possono scegliere 3 o 5 piatti (ad eccezione dei dolci) a 11 o 14 euro. Gentilissima la ragazza che serve e servizio veloce. Il locale ha sui 20/30 posti, noi siamo arrivati presto e non abbiamo avuto problemi, ma si è riempito poi velocemente...meglio quindi prenotare. Il cibo è molto buono, consiglio piatti poco diffusi come una particolare zuppa afghana (nel menù sono indicati i paesi di provenienza). Unica pecca, manca il caffè arabo, ma la ragazza mi ha detto che colmera` presto la lacuna. Se siete a Venezia non potete perdervi questo localino, una chicca anche per l'arredamento particolare e caldo.

Ristorante piccolino ma ben arredato, esotico e curato negli interni. Il menù ha moltissime opzioni vegane e vegetariane segnalate, e altre naturalmente gluten free. Si può scegliere un menù da 2/3/5 piatti (esclusi antipasti e dolci), il che apparentemente sembra un buon affare. L'unico difetto che ho riscontrato sono le porzioni scarse (quelle che vedete in foto sono tutte 2/3 portate servite sullo stesso piatto). Per il resto il cibo è buono e siamo state servite con cortesia e disponibilità.

Sono stata in questo locale più di una volta e sono sempre rimasta soddisfatta. Il personale è sempre molto gentile e il sevizio veloce. Io nei propone varie scelte ed è possibile comporsi il piatto a proprio piacimento. Il locale è molto carino anche se un po’ piccolo e i tavoli sono molto ravvicinati. C’è anche la possibilità di sedersi all’esterno eventualmente.

Piatti ottimi con preparazioni di vari paesi. Possibilità di costruire il piatto con più pietanze. Bella scelta di thè. Prezzi bassi e servizio efficiente.
