Ho cenato stasera, ed è stato un susseguirsi di…Vorrei questo, ed anche questo, e anche questo però,quindi…ho deciso di prendere un antipasto di cicchetti di mare, per poi assaggiare uno spaghetto al nero,(dove sono impazzita) e poi pescato del giorno in “saor” MERAVIGLIOSO!!! Un fritto di paranza a dir poco strepitoso!!! Che dire un esperienza meravigliosa! Personale TOP!!! Disponibili e gentilissimi!!! VORREI TUTTO QUESTO NEL RESTO DELL’ITALIA!!! Ristorante accogliente e molto caratteristico. Situato a meno di 10 minuti da Piazza San Marco, in un vicoletto tranquillo. Tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato ha rispettato le nostre aspettative. Tutto molto fresco e buono. Da prendere l’antipasto al baccalà con la polenta. I miei ravioli al branzino erano davvero buoni. Personale molto gentile. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato!

Locale delizioso e frequentato da una clientela internazionale (come Venezia d’altronde). Gli spaghetti al nero di seppia e tartufo erano molto saporiti, mentre i ravioli di gamberi e burrata erano delicati ed equilibrati. Ottimi anche i dolci. Che bella scoperta! A 5 minuti da piazza San Marco si trova questo locale molto suggestivo, arredato stile navale molto bene e molto ben curato. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto misto di pesce che era eccezionale, soprattutto il tris in saor, il salmone si scioglieva in bocca e gli scampi erano favolosi. Come primo abbiamo preso i tagliolini neri con crema al rosso d'uovo, gamberi e limone. Molto buoni anche se da un sapore particolare per via del limone, ma ottimi. Abbiamo poi preso un fritto misto che era a dir poco spettacolare! Grande varietà di pesce, ottimo. Tutte le portate sono state divise tra me e la mia fidanzata e il fritto non siamo neanche riusciti a finirlo. Attenti alle posizioni che sono abbondanti, avremmo sicuramente cenato tranquillamente anche senza il primo. Comunque abbiamo pagato poco più di 40€ a testa che per un menu di pesce, 2 bottiglie d'acqua e 1 bibita, è un prezzo più che onesto. Sicuramente la prossima volta che tornerò a Venezia, sarà una delle mie tappe principali!

Locale molto bello, arredato con gusto e tranquillo. Ottimo cibo veneziano, con piatti ben curati e porzioni più che oneste. Servizio cordiale, forse i primi si sono fatti attendere un po' più del normale (non avendo preso l'antipasto), ma di sicuro ne è valsa la pena.

Eccezionale! Non è facile trovare un ristorante così buono e con prezzi così accessibili a Venezia, ad un passo da San Marco. Noi abbiamo preso il tris di saor, le capesante su vellutata di piselli, spaghetti alla Busara, e ravioli al nero di seppia ripieni di branzino. Tutto buonissimo! Anche il pane assolutamente degno di nota, fatto in casa da loro ogni giorno. Ristorante che raccomandiamo decisamente!

Sabato si decide di fare un giro a Venezia, ora di pranzo solito dilemma : dove mangiare senza incappare nel solito scadente menù turistico e senza farsi spennare !!!! Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di scegliere questa taverna a due passi da Piazza San Marco, dove abbiamo trovato: personale attento e veloce, cibo di qualità e conto finale più che corretto!!!! Aggiungo che la prova del nove è stata il piatto di bigoli al ragù di faraona che mio figlio ha ripulito facendo scarpetta, cosa mai successa!!! Complimenti!!!👏👏👏

Scoperto per caso e successivamente consigliato dall' albergo in cui ho soggiornato. Locale molto piccolo, vivamente consigliata la prenotazione specialmente nei periodi di alta stagione turistica. Accoglienza eccezionale: la sensazione immediata è quella di essere immersi in un contesto familiare. Cucina tipicamente veneziana molto curata: piatti prelibati e tiramisù da Urlo! VERAMENTE VERAMENTE CONSIGLIATO!!!

Cibo strepitoso, giardinetto interno piccolo ma delizioso. Consiglio l'antipasto di mare composto da cicchetti, uno più buono dell'altro. Il pesce è freschissimo, anche nella frittura di pesce che era ottima e abbondante. Il bombardino finale, con gelato, vodka e limoncello serve poi a mandare giù tutto! Forse il ristorante più buono in cui abbia mai mangiato a Venezia - città notoriamente irta di perigli economici e alimentari per gli avventori non autoctoni incauti che si avventurano cercando di dribblare le varie trappole per turisti di cui è disseminata - con un rapporto qualità prezzo davvero incredibile. Locale promosso e subito segnato tra i preferiti ❤️

Squisito! Consiglio calorosamente gli spaghetti al mero di seppia (eccezionali) e l’antipasto in saor. Ma anche tutto il resto era buonissimo, anche il vino della casa.

We ordered the spaghetti with clams and the ravioli allo zafferano ripieni di ossobuco. The spaghetti were cooked perfectly, with a very generous amount of clams. Rich, balanced, and full of flavor. The ravioli were delicious and refined. However, the portion of ravioli is quite small considering the relatively high price. If you don’t order a starter or a main course and come hungry, the ravioli alone may not be sufficient for a full lunch or dinner. We also tried the house rose wine, served by the bottle, which paired nicely with the food. For dessert, we chose the panettone with raisins and mascarpone from the seasonal menu. Absolutely outstanding and well worth ordering. The restaurant’s interior deserves special mention: it is a true work of art and adds a lot to the overall experience.

We did not have reservations here but they quickly found a table for us. Although the space is small and tight, the service and the food was well worth the close-quarters. We started with baby squid in a bread bowl which was excellent, in a wonderful tomato-based sauce. Our main dishes, a seafood pasta and liver with polenta were so flavorful, and not to mention very large portions! We were so full, there was no room for dessert! I had this restaurant saved as a recommendation and we went after the Vivaldi concert since it was near the church. It was later in the night on a Friday and the restaurant was mostly empty. However, everything was great and delicious. Service was perfect and the food was fantastic. The bread was the fluffiest and softest bread we had in all of Italy.. it was so delicious. I ordered the spinach ravioli with sausage and my partner ordered duck gnocchi. We then split the tiramisu for dessert and watermelon was provided on the house for us. The interior of this restaurant was beautiful and charming. They had a seasonal/daily menu as well as the standard menu and it is evident that this changes often which is neat. Highly recommend!

I've been to Venice many times. But it was my first time here. My wife wanted to eat the cuttlefish ink pasta from one of the recommended places by Japanese tourists. We couldn't go to the first place due to the distance. So we chose this restaurant. And let me tell you, I am seriously grateful that other restaurant was too far. Because this restaurant has become my absolute favorite place to eat in Venice. The decor made me feel relaxed since I was a sailor. The main staff was the nicest guy I've ever met in Italy. The food was so good it deserves a Michelin star. It was so good we not only came on the first day. We made sure it was our last restaurant before leaving Venice. I had the black ravioli the first visit and spaghetti alla busara the second. For appetizers we had the fish plater on the first day and the meat plater on the second. We had tiramisu on the second visit for dessert. To all the staff at Taverna Scalinetto, especially the gentleman in the photo, thank you so much for helping make my honeymoon memorable. We loved your restaurant and hope to come back if we visit Venice again in the future! Until we meet again! -Will

We were thrilled to find another place with so many gluten free options! The food was great and the staff were incredibly polite and patient. The plates are small as to be expected so after a long day of roaming the city Id recommend at least one 1st dish per two persons or an apatizer dish for each person.

We had such a great experience here. We tried their charcuterie board that came with an assortment of Venetian meats and I will have to say the salami was our favorite! They also provided a complimentary bread basket that we used to eat the meat. The charcuterie board we got did NOT come with cheese! Just a forewarning. But we have a great time nonetheless. After our appetizer finished they brought out our pistachio pesto pasta. That was by far one of the tastiest pastas we’ve ever tasted! A subtle hint of the pistachio nutty flavor and such a rich taste. Additionally, the pasta didn’t leave you feeling bloated. Such a great experience. There is also the option of sitting outside in their small courtyard area or inside in their cabin like feel! We opted for inside because it felt very pirate ship but cabin like feel. Also, there was a 6 euro cover charge per person . Overall had a great experience would recommend!

Well, I’m genuinely impressed. The place is just lovey and the people are naturally charming. I did not have the impression of the overly fancy waiters, manners, atmosphere, or attitude, at all. FOOD: once again, I’m a very sensitive person to smells, taste, and definitely a softy tummy. I must say, everything that came out of the kitchen was delightful to smell and turn my eyes every single time. For us we ordered the Seabass fish baked on sea salt and I must say it was just buttery delicious. Our waiter Farid, did a fantastic job on dissecting the fish for us and serving our portions, its was 1 kg of pure fish for two! It was delicious! We ordered vegetables as a side and it was the best decision! SERVICE: very welcoming, very attentive, without overwhelming. Simple, straightforward, very polite, and cheerful. Ristorante molto carino, con uno staff davvero gentile e un’atmosfera sicuramente caratteristica. Ogni volta che veniamo a Venezia e abbiamo possibilità di fermarci a cena veniamo in questo locale. Servizio cordiale e vasta scelta di piatti. Gli spaghetti alla busara sono davvero ottimi, con il giusto dosaggio di piccante e pasta cotta al punto giusto. Grigliata di pesce davvero buona e abbondante con già il contorno compreso. Ombrina al cartoccio invece a mio parere personale era un po’ troppo acquosa, quasi fosse una zuppa, ma comunque passabile. Il posto si trova non poco lontano da piazza San Marco ed è facile da raggiungere passeggiando per il lungomare.

Ottimo ristorante, piccolino e caratteristico, forse un po' caruccio, ma in linea con tutti gli altri, d'altronde siamo a Venezia e a pochi passi da Piazza San Marco! Cmq, rispetto a tanti altri ha piatti tipici e tradizionali, nel complesso ho mangiato molto bene. Il ristoratore è giovane e di una simpatia unica. Lo consiglio vivamente.

We had a really nice dinner at Taverna Scalinetto tonight. Both my husband and I wanted pasta and this restaurant was highly rated. We just happened to come across it meandering down the streets of Venice. I have a ravioli with sausage in the red sauce. My husband had a pistachio pesto pasta. We also enjoyed a bottle of wine and a delicious pistachio tiramisu. The service was great. It was nice and cool inside with the heatwave. And overall such a wonderful meal. I loved my dinner. Purtroppo la nostra esperienza presso questo ristorante di pesce non è stata delle migliori. I tavoli erano un po' troppo piccoli, rendendo difficile disporre i piatti comodamente. Inoltre, il cibo non ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative: l’antipasto era mediocre sia per qualità che per varietà. La grigliata di pesce ordinata e non mangiata (35€) ci ha costretti a fermare la nostra cena. In particolare, il filetto di San Pietro era gommoso e aveva un sapore non proprio fresco. Abbiamo segnalato la situazione al personale, ma purtroppo non abbiamo ricevuto una risposta chiara.Per questo motivo abbiamo deciso ti terminare la nostra serata altrove. Eravamo in una saletta di 12 mq con 8 tavoli seduti sopra un termosifone. Cibo pessimo, fiori di zucca congelati con la ricotta ancora fredda. Pesce non fresco! Eravamo in 8, gli adulti tutti scontenti delle proprie pietanze. L'unica nota positiva la gentilezza del cameriere.
