Sharky's Mexican Grill

Can call in orders without a card. Have the best chips that come with orders. Have a loyalty program. Eat the 1/2 Tofu Power Plate with 2 sides every time, and I am not a vegetarian.

I'm always impressed by the speed with which Sharkeys' staff prepare and serve their food, coupled with the quality, taste and texture they achieve as a "faster food" restaurant. In particular, I enjoy their creative, hearty, and protein-rich vegetarian options. In addition, their friendly customer service is always on point.

The grilled mahi mahi taco was delicious.

First time in - very clean, fast service, good food. The veggies were a little too al dente but maybe could've asked to be cooked more. Will happily go again.

They have the BEST HEALTHIEST food around! James the Manager is the absolute best!! Always willing to modify my order just the way I like it and even remembers it the next time I come in! Great customer service. Love to meet friends there for lunch.

There’s plenty of seating inside and outside.

I’ve been in a lot of Mexican-American restaurants and I can say the nachos and taquitos were bomb. Also Jayleen was very kind :). Definitely coming back to try the tacos and more items in the menu, maybe this place will become one of my top 3 Mexican grills in SoCal.

I ordered the 2 Taco Plate, Guacamole and the BBQ Chicken Salad. It is so difficult to obtain Take-out orders that are completely correct, but my order from Sharky’s was perfect. Even the amount of extra salsa that I ordered was included. I called the restaurant after placing the order and asked for a change to the salad and it arrived just as I ordered. Everything was cooked perfectly and the food from Sharky’s is always amazing. I will definitely order from them again!

Power plate was okay, premium sides that aren't fancy though should be included, broccoli is premium (?) And 1/2 of my chicken was reheated and tough, the other half was juicy and tender though. Wish I could have tried the Quinoa for not additional prices!

Love their food. Almost always get it to go but disappointed lately how stingy they’ve been with chips on to go orders. They give you a bag with like 6 chips in it. Only gripe though, great value for $ quick and tasty.

We ordered a steak taco plate, a shrimp burrito, a kids bean and cheese burrito, and a chicken tostada salad. My kid devoured the burrito, she loved it. Shrimp burrito was also good. Tostada was great, but the chicken seasoning was weird, not sure what it was, paprika or what, but I didn't like it. The steak tacos were excellent and the meat was delicious. Overall a good place to stop to enjoy a quality Mexican meal before hitting the beach

It's sort of a nicer than fast food version Mexican American food. I always have good food here, the salsas are great, and service is usually pretty decent. It's nothing mind blowing but definitely great if you're looking for quick food.

Great mexican-based restaurant that features organic ingredients. Lines occasionally get very long at lunch & dinner, and the seating can fill up quickly. Salsa bar is usually well stocked with mild, medium, and hot condiments. The tortilla chips are highly addictive.

The chips were very good and the salsa bar was clean and well stocked with a delicious variety of salsas. Prices were reasonable, indoor and outdoor patio seating with a cozy atmosphere completed the dining experience. I'll be back for sure.

I always order the sharkeys chicken salad . It is large so I ask for 2 dressings . This time they gave me 2 dressings that were less than half full . This is not what I normally get . I should have checked before I left . I am upset it is not enough for the salad.

Semi regular here. Food is good and healthy. We used to come here for date night pre pandemic. My reason for 3 stars is that 1 a la carte steak taco is $5.50 so if you want 3 tacos, that’s over $15 - not including beans and rice. Doesn’t seem worth it to me.

Their food is delicious (nachos in a pizza box are my favorite!). The salsa bar is fantastic and has a great spread. But the staff is generally rude or indifferent, so that definitely takes away from the experience. I wish they would steal the Camarillo Sharky's staff, who are always friendly and engaging. I'd probably eat at Sharky's way more if they had online ordering where I wouldn't have to interact with them.

First off I called in my order at 4:37. She said it would be ready in 10 min. I was there at 4:50. Was told it wasn’t ready. So I waited, it had been sitting on the racks for awhile. So when I got it, it was cold. Also I asked for flour tortillas for my shrimp tacos and they gave me corn. I got a side of guacamole and it was brown and tasted bad. So I don’t know if I will going back.

I don't know if it is customary to give customers poor quality food, an order that is subpar to what the managers or owners would consider adequate. I ordered two exact burritos and one was literally half the size of the other. I don't know if two cooks prepare food differently but I pay and generously provide a tip for an order I pick up, I always expect good service and quality. Today I received none of that. Therefore, I won't be returning and giving my business to a restaurant that does not take care of its customers. I will also keep my friends and family from visiting this place as well as I believe they deserve better. I will be supporting smaller businesses that actually care. I suggest you rectify this and improve.

Why do they let workers answer the phone if they can't take simple orders? I ordered two burritos today with very ordinary instructions (brown rice, add avocado and salsa verde, hold the cheese) and you'd think I was speaking a foreign language to the guy. He wasn't familiar with the menu at all and after several minutes of excruciating clarification and repetition, he finally seemed to get the picture. 10 minutes later I pick up the burritos and (surprise) nearly every aspect of the order was wrong! He didn't even manage to cut them in half like I asked. You'd think he was doing it on purpose. Thankfully the manager swooped in and comped the meal with profuse apologies. But honestly I would rather pay for the correct order than half-heartedly accept a botched one. Those ruined burritos aren't worth the frustation (and they actually tasted awful). Don't think I'll be coming back. This whole ordeal has totally soured my opinion of this establishment.

I've ordered take out from this place dozens of times, every single time I order guacamole, and EVERY single time, I do NOT receive it. I understand once in a while missing an item from an order, but EVERY single time. Ridiculous. If you're ordering take out or delivery, I recommend using the Oxnard location. They get it right.
