Authentic Mexican decor on the inside and also some outdoor seating available. We were a party of 3 and sat outside to enjoy our meal. Some of us had their breakfast options while others had lunch. I believe i ordered a pork enchilada for this meal. Everything was very flavorful although the pork was very fatty. Their salsa was delicious but too spicy for the ladies that were with me. Our server was very attentive.

All about this place was great. The food was delicious, arrived pretty quick, and the strawberry margarita pitcher was great, enough for 4 people. The tables and chairs are so colorful, so Mexico. You can also get your own tequila and store it there for when you come back. Genius! I'm definitely coming back!

Las Potrancas on 64th St. sits among a very unassuming strip mall and is easily missed or passed over, but I think it deserves another look. My wife and I as well as many of our friends come here on a regular basis and are always greeted with a smile and wonderfully warm comforting Mexican classics. Before I start the actual food review I am well aware this is not the most expensive or most authentic and probably not the most healthy Mexican restaurant choice in the area, but that being said they do a wonderful job and each time deliver an outstanding product. The prices are reasonable on the food and the drinks ,all though sometimes there can be a wait during peak hours I think the ladies at the front of the house handle it well and seat people in as timely fashion as they can. I normally get the shredded chicken and bean burrito or sometimes the shredded beef version and it always arrives hot and delicious, I think what I love most about their food and their presentation is more of what it isn’t… like overdone or deconstructed or pretentious, I think you get the idea. this is every day Mexican food at a reasonable price point with good ingredients delicious sauces and a nice presentation. Do some of the plates come covered in cheese ,absolutely. like I said this may not be a Michelin star situation, so if that is what you came for you may be disappointed. Overall it’s a great place to gather with friends and family and enjoy reasonable Mexican food from delicious recipes at a price that won’t rival your car payment. They even have a small bar that you may eat at as well, And many TVs. There is a large steel cage in the lobby where you can bring your own bottle of tequila and keep it safe to enjoy during your meal. Brightly colored tables and chairs and big smiles is what you will find along with wonderful food at Las Potrancas.

We came here on a reference from a friend... WE LEFT IN FOOD COMAS 😋. So delicious! Our server was fast and kept the drinks refilled. The food was delicious. My husband and I enjoyed our corner booth for days night. We recommend and will return often

Pretty good food at fair prices with solid, friendly service. The atmosphere isn’t really my style, though its a style some enjoy. Overall, a solid spot and worth a visit.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ — Great food, great value, one small gripe We had a really enjoyable meal at Las Protrancas yesterday. The food was great — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very fair, especially considering the quality. Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. The only thing that took away from an otherwise excellent visit was the music. They were streaming Pandora’s free tier, ads and all, and the particular songs that came up were a bit on the obnoxious side. Probably just bad luck with the rotation, but it did distract from the atmosphere. Still, the food and value easily outweigh that minor annoyance. We’ll definitely be back — hopefully next time with a smoother soundtrack.

I recently ate here with my family who came here from out of town for the holiday. We had a party of 9 so arrived earlier to get a table. We were seated shortly and received service. Our waiter was very accommodating and the food was as good as the first time we had eaten here.

Great little Mexican place in Arvada. We got the shrimp fajitas and a combo plate with cheese enchilada and beef taco. Everything was very good. Service was a little slow but okay. We made a video - 2 points if you know what movie we are spoofing!

Very good food and a nice team. There is always a super friendly vibe when coming here. Wait staff did not know the difference between the Las Potrancas burrito and the Colorado burrito, but the issue was resolved. I ordered their special Potrancas burrito and it was very good. I thought the salsa would be a little odd tasting, but it had the right amount of flavor and complimented the burrito. I would recommend green chili over the red salsa, but the spiciness of the red salsa is better than the green chili. Overall the restaurant has great service and good food.

We enjoyed our dinner the other night for the most part with exception to the atrocious overhead lighting. They have so many LED can lights in the ceiling that completely killed our desire to eat. Bright white/blue lighting is not conducive to a warm and friendly dining experience. We felt like we were eating in a school cafeteria. We won't return unless they decide to overhaul this really bad lighting design.

I have been here before with family and dined in. Never had a bad experience until I did a takeout recently. I ordered chili cheese fries everything was fine until i got home and realized my fries are actually Potato wedges and was missing utensils that were actually offered to me so funny .. I called the manager, letting him know that I was given potato wedges instead of normal fries. He let me know that there was an outage on french fries that they have not had french fries for three weeks. I explained to him that any customer should be aware and let know By whoever is taking the order that there were no Normal french fries in the restaurant and they would probably change their meal. The manager seemed as if it was not a issue his associate did not let there customer know of the outage & The manger proceeded to tell me a story on when he was given Potato wedges instead of fries at another facility instead of And he was happy and was unaware of there outage and told me i could go back and get my money if i wasn’t happy. I would not do any takeout from this establishment. I have been To better los Patracas establishments they don’t seam to care about take out customer satisfaction. IF THERE IS A OUTAGE YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE AWARE DO NOT TRY TO GIVE US POTATO WEDGES I DID NOT ORDER NO CHILI CHEESE WEDGES (.)

Service here was terrible. We order a 2 1/2 dozen of bean and cheese burritos and was given the wrong order. When my family and I have tried to called the restaurant, they hung up the phone and turn off the phones so we couldn't get hold of them. When we showed they were rude towards but luckily we were able to get our refund back. I would not suggest this restaurant as there are many more nicer Mexican restaurants. DO NIT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A RUDE TEENAGER TO TAKE CARE OF YOU!!!

I must share with all the public that the beans here are absolutely awful and green chili is like green jelly. I called and spoke to the owner or the manager and the guy on the phone told me that they are known for their beans and green chili. All I know is that they are atrocious.

Busy dinner rush, they do not appear to have bus boys that take empty glasses back to the kitchen so the dishwasher can wash them. Sitting at the bar with dirty drink glasses sounding me.
