Opinions de Nero Cafe Vera
A really cool coffee shop. Stopped in for a latte and bagel. I had the everything bagel and my girlfriend had a croissant. It was a great start to the day. They also had different types of danishes and cakes. If you want a breakfast sandwich they have that as well. The coffee shop was really nice with various types of seating areas (tables, comfortable chairs and high top chairs). I really enjoyed this spot.
I am a regular here at Caffè Nero, and have probably been coming about 5 times a week on average for the past year and a half since moving to Providence, RI. My go to order is a hazelnut oat milk latte and I highly recommended it. They always manage to get the foam perfect even when using milk alternatives which is something I’ve noticed lacks depending on the cafe you go to. I’ve tried a number of other cafes in the area and the reason I come here over any other is because the lattes are absolutely amazing, the service is even better, and the atmosphere is inviting/cozy. No matter who is working, I know I’ll be met with a friendly smile/chat, an amazing drink, and some delicious food if I was hungry that day. I can always count on the environment and the staff here when I need to get schoolwork done, stay motivated, and/or have any questions at all. I also utilize a manual wheelchair for everyday life and the staff is always there for any assistance I may need, whether it be carrying my drink to my table or opening a door when my hands are full. I love being a regular here, and very much recommend anyone in the area looking for a perfect coffee/latte to come check it out. Thank you Caffè Nero for fostering the welcoming environment you have here.
This is the perfect coffee shop. We got an American, a cafe an latte, and an almond croissant and everything was superb. The atmosphere is perfect. We were just here visiting, but if I lived closed I would be here all the time.
The most cozy and welcoming atmosphere for a cafe in the heart of downtown Providence. Great coffee and even greater people. My favorite PVD spot to lounge at for hours.
Cafe Nero is a great chain coffee shop in Providence. The coffee is well prepared and the staff is knowledgeable and cordial. They've a goos selection of pastries as well. What makes this location special is the number of great conversations I've had. The atmosphere promotes convivial conversations. From Brown graduate students studying to first responders taking a load off, things here are easy and full of conversation.
Came in with a group after ice skating in downtown Providence and ordered a variety things. Only one person in our large group did not enjoy their drink and it was replaced immediately by the barista. Topnotch customer service! Will return on the regular.
This is such a cute little coffee shop. The employees are so nice. I mentioned i wanted a cold brew with oat milk and the barista let me know that she made an oat milk cold foam too that pairs well with my choices. As someone with dairy restrictions, it was nice to have someone take time to offer extra options I hadn't noticed as available.
Went here every morning during a work stay as it was across the street from my hotel. Very good Italian style coffee drinks and light lunch/ breakfast items. Cool vibe/decor inside, friendly staff, and this location has a ton of seating room.
One morning, I purchased a cup of coffee from the Omni hotel that, unfortunately, was not drinkable. Rather than let it dampen my mood, I decided to venture downstairs. Right there to my left, I spotted a Nero's coffee shop. Even though the line was very long, the wait was absolutely worth it! I ordered a cappuccino and it was excellent—perfectly made and exactly what I was hoping for. It’s clear the long line was a testament to its quality and popularity.
Caffe Nero is so cute, and everything is fantastic! Came here twice during my vacation, and the drinks were amazing and so was the food. The line can get a little long, but that is because the barista’s take their time actually crafting your drink and not just throwing it together like at Starbucks. All the pastries and sandwiches are so fresh and delicious. I wish I lived here so I could keep coming back!!
Came to Providence for 2 days with my gf seen this caffe on the street and decided to stop by. I ordered Ham and Cheese croissant and Chicken Pesto Provolone chabata. With Iced Strawberry Vanilla Matcha Latte and a regural Latte. Not kidding the best coffe I ever had in my life I was watching the barista do his magic unlike nothing i’ve ever seen. Coffe beans were all the way from Kenya,Africa tasted absolutely amazing. Food tasted really good as well and was fresh, if i’m ever back in Providence i’m stopping by 100%
The Chicken croissant was perfect, the coffee is amazing and the inside was very welcoming and fun with books and plenty of space for a Sunday morning cup of coffee and people watching. Even with seating outside it was very present. The line for me was quite long and roughly 5 minute wait but well worth the wait.
I love this store! The food, especially the bakery items, is absolutely delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, particularly to children. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The only downside is the parking—it’s quite challenging to find a spot nearby. Despite that, this remains one of the best coffee bars in Providence.
I ordered a large iced coffee and a piece of walnut banana bread. The BANANA BREAD WAS AMAZING!!!!!! The coffee also was great! A great vibe for some studying or a solo hangout. Also a great spot to meet some friends and catch up. The barista who helped me was absolutely incredible. It was my first time and I didn’t feel rushed or anything, like I do in other coffee shops! The vibe was very laid back. I will gladly shop here instead of Starbucks!
Milo was quick and had a great memory for our really large group order. Tons of different types of seating which I love in a place. Seems like it could be great to work on a laptop here but I forgot to check if there was free Wi-Fi. Not the easiest place for parking but it’s nearby the mall that has free two hour parking and is a minute from Kennedy Plaza I didn’t want to like it here because it’s a chain but it’s nice and big, has a ton of space and is such an appropriate theme.
Stopped in for some afternoon coffee and sweets. Not disappointed. We sampled tiramisu, cinnamon bun and chocolate cake. The tiramisu was one of the best Jess has had. Light and full of flavor. Cinnamon bun had awesome icing, but likely was better freshly baked. The cake was rich and chocolatey, but a bit dry. I had cold brew with cold foam and it was excellent. Strong, but not bitter at all. Jess had latte, her favorite and liked it. Cute place, great service from Tolani. Her work partner seemed a bit controlling, so glad we had her serving us.
Love this place, but a barista made me and a few other customers visibly uncomfortable. He is very passive aggressive, extremely loud with his responses (making the entire cafe jump at one point when he responded to someone trying to buy a coffee) explained to an Asian women she needed to “try to annunciate because words can sound similar”. If I didn’t have schoolwork due that day I would’ve left. Not trying to be a Karen, but felt like it needed to be addressed and hopefully advised.
incredibly over priced chain. 10 dollars+ for like crissont sandwiches and equally ridiculous prices on coffee, tho the coffee is good, much better than any other US coffee chain. No, this place is the pits because the two women working the shift were blatantly mocking me for the way I smelled. I think? idk, if there was a genuine problem they were too cowardly to let me know. Cannot stress how unbelievably and absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional this is. It encouraged patrons to start joining in on the comments. All I did was sit in the back of the store and sip coffee while working on my phone. The utter nerve is just unreal. I cannot believe this service, and even worse is that I spent my last 5 bucks at this sorry excuse. Just ridiculous.
It was 2:50 PM. I was going to wet myself, so i saw this beautiful restaurant and i decided to get in. When i got in, i politely said good afternoon and i did not received a greeting back. Then i said: “i really have to go to the bathroom.” and the staff responded like they don’t have anything to do: “You need to buy something before you can use the bathroom” and i said ok, i understand. Then i proceeded to look the menu to buy something cheaper and i did not saw anything cheap, it was all unnecessary expensive, and when i was deciding what to choose the staff (it was a man) started to asking me so many questions about what i want to buy and i said: i need more time, and he was insisting to telling him what i want, then the man said: “if you don’t buy something, you have to leave the place NOW!” When i heard that, i felt soooo bad, like a dog in the rain without a house. i felt so bad that i walked out from the place, leaving that feeling inside of me for like 2hr. I don’t recommend this place at all. It’s a shame that older reviews talk about the bad customer service of this place and they don’t do anything about it.
