Opinions de Pino Bianco Verona
Myself and my two best friends go there every year or so in November to celebrate our birthdays we were there on November 28. The waitress name was Danyelle. She was hands-down amazing the manager, Danny DeGeorge was amazing came over not once but twice to check on us which was so thoughtful they gave us pieces of cake w candles it was just a perfect night as always and I want to thank everyone
I celebrated my birthday here a few weeks ago and was so impressed by the experience we had here. Everything from start to finish was exceptional, including the service and food. The warm bread offered to start the meal was warm and yummy, making it hard not to fill up before the meals arrived. My husband and I decided to split the Caesar salad; so grateful, as it was a huge portion! We also split our entrees. We both loved the short rib with risotto. Even the carrots it came with were delicious. I can not get over how amazing this entree was; do yourself a favor and order this! We also split the chicken marsala, but I opted to upgrade to homemade Tagliatelle. The marsala was very good, but the pasta was outstanding. It's hard to find homemade pasta, and it's clear this is one area where they shine. Unfortunately, I didn't have room for dessert. Hopefully next time! Highly recommend making reservations for this restaurant if you are planning a trip to Turning Stone.
I had an amazing dinner at Pino Bianco to celebrate my birthday, and everything about the experience was perfect! Danielle was our server, and we absolutely loved her. She made excellent recommendations that elevated the meal even more. The food was absolutely phenomenal—every dish was delicious and came out so quickly! It was such a wonderful evening, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Pino Bianco, for making my birthday celebration so special!
Second time here. We stay at the RV Park and get the shuttle. This food is AMAZING!! Fresh made pasta, top grade ingredients, just fabulous. This time we had the Baked Ricotta app, then the Crab and Corn pasta dish that was KILLER! The BF got the veal Marsala for the second time. He's in love! Marsala can be a bit much to me sometimes, but not this one! It's PERFECT!
Out of all the restaurants at Turning Stone Casino, this one is my favorite. The decor and atmosphere is a twist of that classic Italian bistro with some modern appearance. The food is amazing. There’s very few places that actually serve homemade pasta. Some dishes you have to ask for the upgrade, but it’s well worth it. Service is prime as well. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.
We are at the Turning Stone Resort for a wedding and ate at Pino Bianco. What a treat. The meatball appetizer was so good. One of the best meatballs I have had in a long time. The lasagna, Francaise, and linguine with white clam sauce were all delicious. My parents were unable to make it and it happened to be their 55th anniversary. When Anne-Marie, our waitress, found out she brought us a cheesecake for us to celebrate in their honor. It was so kind and thoughtful. We also ordered the tiramisu and the flourless chocolate cake which were amazing. The cappuccino was outstanding! What a treat this place was!
Wifey and I chose Pino Bianco for a special dinner occasion, and we were happy we did. The atmosphere was relaxing and well decorated. Our waiter was very professional and attentive. Every dish we had, from the appetizer, to our main dishes, to dessert, was excellent. It was fresh, paired well, and perfectly seasoned. The herb butter on warm fresh bread tasted so good. The calamari had breaded hot cherry peppers and breaded olives. I had never had it like that, but it was a perfect touch. My seafood pasta dish was AMAZING! Best seafood pasta dish I’ve had in CNY area. It included, shrimp, calamari, and scallops, and it was cooked perfectly. Not over cooked and chewy like some of the other places we’ve tried in the area. We can’t wait to come back here again to try something new :)
Our family chose Pino Bianca for a special dinner while camping at the Villages. The ambiance was relaxing and well decorated. The service was professional and attentive. The food, from the appetizer, to our main dishes, to dessert, was excellent. Everything was paired well, freshly made, and scrumptious. Pricey as expected, but you get what you pay for. See pictures.
Very nice atmosphere. Prompt, attentive, polite service from Jade. Excellent quality food….and bread was superb. Sadly, both tasty meals arrived lukewarm. For such a high quality and pricey restaurant, there’s no excuse. In retrospect, I should have complained.
We come here often as it’s my fathers favorite Italian restaurant. Food is very good including the fresh warm bread they serve to the table - I’ve had the chicken francaise, the chicken parm, their meatballs, the chicken riggies and the lasagna throughout my multiple trips here over the years. The food is very good, my only gripe is the skimp a bit on the pasta portion. If the pasta portions were bigger then definitely would be a 5 out of 5.
Three of us dined and had an enjoyable dinner with some hiccups. We were seated promptly and our server was Jenn. Everyone looked like the place was understaffed. Jenn get a bit impatient midway through the meal but came around and admitted she was in a tizzy. No recurrence. Bread was great. Crusty and moist with a pesto oil! Two of us split a Caesar salad and had minestrone soup and a shrimp cocktail for dinner. The Caesar was great, fresh crunchy greens, croutons and a tangy Caesar dressing. The minestrone was also great with vegetables and lots of taste. The shrimp cocktail for $25 was disappointing. At that price point you will normally see large shrimp (like 10-12). These were I think 16-20, and they were soggy. Served with olives and a spicy cocktail sauce. The spaghetti with marinara with added grilled shrimp was tasty, but 3 small grilled shrimp for $12? Really? There was cheese grated at table side but I could not grab anyone to ask for crushed red pepper. I went without. A cosmopolitan took a VERY long time to come. “The bar is very busy”. The overwhelmedness of the staff was palpable and took away from the experience. No dessert. The ladies next table shared their birthday cake with us! So nice!
They were extremely busy on a Tuesday night, which I think was unusual for them, so service took a while but the servers were nice and apologetic about it. The grilled romaine salad was really tasty, and the spaghetti marinara was a good comforting dish. The broccoli rabe was only ok, I’d stick to just the salad for my greens
Great restaurant for inside the casino. The atmosphere is really nice and service was excellent. Cocktails were well poured. I ordered the Fried Calamari which was very good. I also had the Pino Chicken Riggies with sausage and agreed to have it “spicy” as suggested by the server and that was a mistake. It was WAY too hot and not enjoyable. I would order the dish again, but definitely not order it hot.
3 stars bc we frequent here and have never had a bad experience. One star based on tonight's experience. 7pm reservation. Didn't sit until 730 *although multiple tables open. And had to ask again if our table was ready. Appetizer and bread came out wrong at 8pm. Correct Appetizer came 15min later. Salads 830pm. At 845 we decided we were done and asked for the check. They comped everything which was nice but almost 2hours and no dinner is crazy. We'll grab burgers and go gamble.
Very disappointed with this casino dining option to the point where my wife and I took our mains to go back to our lodge suite. The server went MIA midway through our dining experience after I mentioned how terrible the calamari was that she suggested and how steamed clams came out as mussels without being notified; she was a people pleaser for a party of 8 from a conference that sat down after my wife and I. The bread was a very sad excuse of bread. The mains were mediocre at best and overpriced; I could have made a better meal at home but still got gauged for 212 USD with some overpriced beers added to the tab. Never Again
They comped the meal so whatever. I feel sick after. Slow service. Sent back burnt gnocchi and waxy bucco, they were nice about it. Second gnocchi was delicious. Crème brûlée was served cold, clearly brûléed earlier in the day. Had what looked like a loogie in the wine glass, waitress said ‘must be backwash’ from our appetizer… after my wife saw her carry the drink tray onto the kitchen from the bar…not good. Awkward and disappointing.
Over priced bad Italian food! Olive Garden is better and more comfortable with nicer staff. The staff ( hostess, server and busser) seemed as though it was too much work to serve us from the time we walked in. The drinks were sub par, after waiting 20 minutes for them. The salad was wilted and warm, the pasta was over cooked and the sauce was sugary. The cost for the meal was as much as the room.
I asked for a reservation. I had no issue waiting for a confirmation or even a later time. But I received no phone call. No email. Like they said I would. I understand there may have been a longer wait. Bit I didn’t get a phone call or email. Absolutely not ever going to try to go again. I have loved it here in the past but friends and family have rid me it’s no where near as good as it was. But I was willing to give it a chance. But not anymore. You have 100% lost the business of many locals.
Food was underwhelming and service was very poor. I am Italian and know true Italian food; This was not it. I am also vegan and while they did have a vegan option, it was awful. It was a vegetable ravioli that was all processed. There was not anything fresh about this meal. Was very obvious that it was mass purchased and pulled out of the freezer. I have been to many restaurants that have talented chefs who are able to whip up a fresh pasta and vegetable dish that is very tasty. No options for something this simple to be done which tells you a lot about the kitchen and food they are serving. For the prices charged, the quality is unacceptable . The service was absent from the time we were greeted to the time we left. Our seater seemed grumpy without a smile. When she sat us, the booth seat was dirty. Not even a “hold on let me get that cleaned for you”. Nope, she just stood there annoyed while I cleaned it with a napkin. I am not talking about a few bread crumbs, this was down right dirty with food. If they can’t get this customer facing aspect to be cleaned I would hate to see what the back looks like . Our server was useless. We had to track down other people for another drink, bread,, etc. she didn’t even check in after the first bites to see if everything was ok. My food ended up cold by the time we saw a worker to track her down. My husband finished his meal by the time I started on mine bc of this poor service. This place, in my opinion, is lacking the basics of customer service especially for the prices they are charging. Olive Garden rates higher on all aspects to this place. I did not enjoy my time here and will avoid ever going back. For the prices they are charging: Food is low quality, service is poor and inattentive, cleanliness seems to be lacking. I would not recommend this to a friend.
