Mi sono trovata davvero bene in questo bistrot. L’atmosfera è accogliente e tutto quello che ho assaggiato era molto buono. Il personale è gentile e il locale è molto bello e ben curato. Un posto in cui tornerei volentieri.

I was out going for a great bowl of soup…. And I FOUND it! Recently moved to Rome from the USA and been on the hunt for the “special” places. This place was a wonderland It is so beautiful it hits doll house like feel. Small white lights and parties lining the entrance. It feels enchanted. I was looking for something with a unique and delicious flavor and their vegetable soup is it. With hints of sweet spices. I loved it. I think you will too. This was my first time here and the pleasant server treated me with a big smile. She seated me and soon brought fresh water and an ice cold Coke in a large glass bottle. The atmosphere was posh so I thought a tiny one was coming but this was a large yay. The soup was enough for 2 people. Before it arrived they placed carrots and cucumbers along with a popular Italian vegetable called Finnocio that tastes a bit like licorice. How refreshing! Then I tasted the soup. My first word was wow. As if that was not enough already the kind waitress Gloria brought me a full complimentary desert! Delicious pumpkin bread and treat. I felt like a queen! I will ask for her next time because she made my visit wonderful This place is a MUST! Add it to your list you will be glad!

From the moment you walk in, the staff welcome you in a very friendly way, with a smile. The tiramisu is outstanding and the limoncello spritz is delicious — everything tasted excellent. The place has a great atmosphere — I will definitely come back on my next visit to Rome!

Really lovely cafe in Rome - has a great selection of teas and coffee. We had brunch here and it was delicious! I had the salmon and avocado which was tasty and a good price. I also had the chai latte and my partner had a great coffee. Very attentive service and lovely decor. Wish I'd found this place sooner as its not too touristy but pretty close to piazza Navona and the river. Would go again, highly recommend.

It was one of the best dining experiences in Rome. I had a vegetarian lasagna that was truly unique, and a salad that went perfectly with it. The street atmosphere was delightful — the service, everything. The menu was about 80% vegetarian. Absolutely perfect. Bitten 🇩🇰

Lovely place! I was able to order with my broken Italian, but the staff also speak English. Vegan options as well as oat, soy or almond milk replacement. The vegan cake was 5* 🤩

Stumbled across this fab café on my last day in Rome recently. Had the most amazing smoked salmon & avocado salad with fennel, pink grapefruit & orange - sounds like it shouldn’t work but it was fabulous, so much so I’ve had to recreate the salad at home. The bread basket was also wonderful, with the most amazing herb bread among the selection. Very friendly staff. Deserves a much higher rating than it has on here. I highly recommend.

Genuinely can't recommend this place enough. Food is incredible, especially the BAKERY, the best dessert I've had in Italy, I'm going to dream about that cake and fresh in house made custard for the rest of my life. The espresso is good too. Def one of my fave finds in Rome.

Great little cafe bistro in a delightful, peaceful setting, we sat outside for lunch but inside tables were cute too. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious fresh food. Coffee and apple crumble dessert was excellent. It felt like real Rome rather than just another tourist cafe.

What a beautiful place! All of the bakery are such amazing and very tasty maybe the quantity could be bigger. A special big up to Zack, nice person very helpful and good trader as well aha! This is a great cafe! One of the best in central rome. It has delicious food, a great menu with lots of options, and very good coffee as well. The croissants are so amazing and there are lots of flavors. They have a large variety of teas as well from all over the world. This place should be rated at 4.5 to 5 stars without a doubt. The outdoor seating is lovely and the street is not too busy or loud. Highly recommend!

I don't understand the low rating of the Caffe Novecento! We had an excellent brunch made with fresh ingredients, fresh pastries and excellent coffee, the service was friendly and the atmosphere is very beautiful! The prices are reasonable considering the location. If we are ever in Rome again, we will definitely come back here.

Fantastic caffe latte! This is one of the few places we came across in Italy where they present their lattes like "layered latte". They tasted better than average. We had our coffees at the bar, which is cheaper than having them sitting down. The waitresses were all very lovely. We were there when they were just putting out freshly baked pastries onto the stands. And they looked amazing! If we had not already have breakfast at the hotel, we would've grabbed some.

Outdoor seating at a fairly mediocre cafe, albeit with delicious croissants. Positives: They do a cute layered caffe latte here, which tasted good and was nice because finding lattes in Rome is genuinely not easy at all. Their freshly-baked croissants were simply outstanding and some of the best that I’ve ever tried. Negatives: The quiche was nice but VERY small (about the size of my palm) and honestly not at all worth the €10+ price we paid for it. Their slices of brown bread were very dry and not flavorful at all. The avocado slices were black and mushy, I certainly wouldn’t have served it to any customer. The scrambled eggs were…fine? Not seasoned at all though. If you just want a proper latte and croissant, check this place out. Otherwise, I’d say that there are certainly better options for breakfast and lunch in Rome to try out than this place.

Nice place, kind staff. But that's all. I had watery eggs without salt, I got an avocado which I asked to be left, peace of raw celery and big piece of parsley. Also hygiene is questionable and no locks at the toilet, which is 2 metres away from the door.

Siamo stati truffati dal proprietario/gestore di questo bar. Siamo entrati per prendere un caffè, un cappuccino e un pezzo di brownie al bancone e il proprietario - visto che il bancone era occupato - ci ha fatto sedere velocemente a un tavolo proprio lì facendo capire che ci avrebbe servito rapidamente come se fossimo stati al bancone stesso (e di conseguenza con gli stessi prezzi). Quando siamo andati a pagare invece ci ha presentato questo conto folle di 12 euro per un caffè e un cappuccino che avevamo richiesto al banco. Non andateci

Siamo entrati attratti da un buffet dall’aspetto molto invitante, con prodotti da forno ben esposti e tartine appetitose. Ci siamo seduti, abbiamo ordinato due cocktail (buoni) e chiesto al cameriere di poter assaggiare alcuni prodotti del buffet. Ci è stato risposto che ci avrebbero portato un piatto misto. Dopo i cocktail, arriva invece una ciotolina di verdure crude tagliate sottili e due salse (una di hummus di ceci e un’altra non identificata, di colore viola), mai richieste né spiegate. Sul conto, scopriremo poi 10€ addebitati per questo “accompagnamento”. I prodotti da forno del buffet, quelli per cui eravamo entrati, non arrivano. Chiediamo a una cameriera qualcosa di diverso dalle verdure crude, specificando che non siamo vegani. Successivamente ci vengono portati quattro mini crostini (mortadella, carciofi e zucca). Vedendo che il buffet continuava a essere rifornito ma ignorato dal servizio, ribadiamo che dovevamo andare a cena e volevamo solo stuzzicare qualcosa dal buffet. Dopo ulteriori chiarimenti, indichiamo direttamente cosa desideriamo e scegliamo un prodotto da forno con baccalà e una micro quiche alla zucca. Arrivano posate e stoviglie, poi un piatto di baccalà mantecato con polenta (mai ordinato): piatto rimandato indietro, anche perché l’odore del baccalà era molto forte. La quiche era buona, ma 7,50€ per una porzione così minuscola sono ingiustificabili. Totale: 41€ per un aperitivo confuso, non richiesto e gestito male. Tanta apparenza, pochissima sostanza. Non torneremo.
