Decided to try this place out based on a pamphlet that was on my door. I haven't had a pizza with proper seasoning, great crust, and great bacon in a long time. I was absolutely astonished by just how good it was. Got fried mushrooms as well, due to never seeing as a option. The mushrooms were really juicy and were actually really nice. The breading on the mushrooms was nicely crunchy. The pizza reminded my wife of New york. Definitely getting it again
Tried Big Apple Pizzeria with the wife. The food was delicious. We had the two cheese slice special and the philly combo with fries and drink. The pizza was pretty good. The philly was very tasty. The bread used for the philly is perfect. Fries complements the Philly as well. We really enjoyed the time together and customer service was A1. If you are ever in this area come by and try this place. If its anything like this time around you wont be disappointed.
This place is so god damn good I couldn't wait to make a review got a good deal with a 18 inch one topping pizza garlic knots And a appetizer I chose chicken tenders as the appetizer they were mind blowing absolutely perfect with a thin crisp and a tender center the garlic knots were light and thank god not to garlicky and the pizza was perfect literally impossible to find one thing wrong with it I will definitely be coming back here hungry for more and if anyone sees this review don't you dare hesitate, come eat here NOW!!!
I’ve been ordering takeout here for a few years now and the food is great! What’s better is this place is run by great people. I enjoy going in talking to everyone here, very friendly! Personally I think the calzones here are amazing, but quite frankly, everything here is great!
Best pizza in the area. Great service. I stay 20 minutes away and pass countless pizzerias just to go here. Worth the trip and money
Bought the family special 2 pizzas , 20 wings, garlic knots, and soda !! What a deal.. And it was delicious!! The sauce for the garlic knots is a must for me, pretty sure its homemade. Either way that alone was delicious!! The pizza wonderful, the chicken wings crispy!! Personelly its a must try!! Ill be a regular from now on!! Great job wonderful food.
Best pizza and value we’ve had in the area! The pizza is dynamite. We got a pepperoni and one of the biancas. Both amazing. The wings were a little overdone but still delicious. Only mention for the feedback, not a deal breaker for us. Consider us your next regulars!
It’s really good pizza with reasonable pricing. I usually go during lunch hours and they have a good deal for 2 slices. I always have a good experience and good wait times. Highly recommend.

Got pizza here Tuesday, with the slice app and as usual they did not disappoint, this is one of the two pizza places I get pizza from on this side of Norfolk! Keep doing your thing big apple pizza, and the 3 cheese fries raviolis here are amazing!
Got the pizza wing deal, with tiramisu, garlic knots and a sub for the family and everything came out delicious as always! It was delivered by them as well and it got here in decent time for all that we ordered. The pizza cooked to perfection and it’s like a slice right out of your favorite pizza shop anywhere in New York; the wings perfectly crisp, sub was stacked, garlic knots evenly sauced, and the tiramisu is a must have. Will be ordering again and again!
Really really good slice of NY style pizza. They do it right, spoke to owner for a bit and he moved here from NY to bring the real deal to town. I had 2 slices of pepperoni before I remembered to snap a pic!! Lol this is the last slice. Delicious, fresh, def gonna be back there a bunch now that I live nearby. 💯

Christmas eve and about one of the only places open. I have been here numerous times and the food is always good. This particular day I ordered through door dash and their system had problems with door dash orders. They completed the order once they found it. One of the workers grabbed the wrong pizza and gave it to me. It was still delicious just missing half pepperoni. The Stromboli was really good too. If you are in this area stop by for some good food.
Been here many times. Even brought my wife here and she liked it.Good food and good service. Very friendly staff and helpful if u got questions about a dish. Have tried few different menu items. They got good lunch specials. Pizza by the slice. Eat in or take out. I recommend this place to anyone that enjoys good food. Thanks for the continued great food and service. 4 thumbs up and 5 stars.
I ordered Stromboli with chicken and spinach. It was delightful!! The Stromboli was huge, fresh and delicious! I will be back soon!!
Came in to pick up a door dash order and was denied access to the restroom. The cashier stated she would only allow me to use the bathroom if I paid for something. She was patronizing, condescending, and overall rude. What a great way to treat the drivers who deliver to your patrons. Would never recommend
Ordered through door dash on 3/30. They offered a special of wings, a pizza, and some garlic knots but it wouldn’t allow me to pick the toppings on the pizza or the flavor of wings so I figured I’d just call the place and talk to them about it. Before I could call them a woman working that day called me and lectured me about how I shouldn’t be ordering through door dash because they charge more and next time I need to call them directly. She said if she hadn’t been working they would have just made everything plain and not bothered calling to check if that’s what I wanted. Well, there won’t be a next time. I had no idea this place existed except for through door dash, nor did I have any idea they would deliver to me. As far as I know, your business has to volunteer to be on door dash so why am I being scolded for using it? I understand there were some technical difficulties but that should be taken up with DoorDash, not me. I still ordered the food regardless. I asked for garlic park wings and they tasted very lemony. I threw them out. The garlic knots were pretty dry and the pizza was average. I’m happier ordering dominos
Excuse from the owner that the “delivery driver” was in a rush and will not offer a refund. I do not want another pizza I would just like my money back.
Ordered a burger, fries and sub at 1pm for delivery, called at 230 to see where my food was because it wasn't delivered yet. The man who answered said they mixed it up and thought it was a pick up and it would be delivered soon... I asked if it would be hot since it had been an hour and a half... he said yes.... my food came wrapped in foil... it was hot but obviously had been put back in the oven... with the lettuce, tomatoes and everything left on it. .bun was hard as a rock and the food was disgusting. 30 dollars wasted.... I will never order from them again.
I decided to try this place after finding their pamphlet in the mail. I've had some poorly prepared food before, but this place has successfully topped them all. Not only was our food poorly made and overcooked, all the ingredients used in our meals tasted exceptionally cheap. My son got the NY Buffalo Chicken wrap and couldn't finish it. He complained that the chicken was mushy, the sauce was really salty, and the wrap was dry without the ranch dipping sauce. I took a bite and can confirm everything he said was true. Despite the salty flavor and mushy texture, it was at least edible. I got the stuff shells. It was a lesson and a reminder to never order this unless you can confirm the expertise of the chef. It looked edible, but I was disappointed after cutting into it. The mozzarella cheese they use was probably the cheapest you can buy and was so baked on that it was like cutting into rubber. I'm assuming the shells were stuffed with Ricotta cheese, but it was so dry, flavorless, and gritty that I couldn't really tell what it was. I got halfway through the meal, and couldn't stomach the rest. My wife got the Gyro. There was so much grease in it that it actually broke the Tzatziki sauce and turned the pita into mush. She had thrown it away before I could snap a picture of it, and I wasn't about to fish it out of the garbage. She tried to eat it, but the mushy pita bread and nasty broken sauce were deal breakers for her. Normally, I give a place a few tries even after a bad experience. But, to fail so completely from start to finish on every item in my order is inexcusable and undeserving of future patronage.
Ordered pizza around 7 to 730 on a Thursday. Order contained the spaghetti and meatballs, cannolies, a gyro with fries and finally a margherita pizza. Got the order around an hour or so later with the pizza box caved in ,which stuck to over half the pizza. My wife ordered the gyro and fries which contained only a handful if you could consider it a handful of fries which was an extra 3 bucks which is whatever. The third issue was the spaghetti and meatballs where the meatballs were cold, still pink in the middle, and finally had very little sauce. The final issue was the cannolies which were soggy and overly dressed with sauces.
