We went here for my husband's birthday! Alfonso was amazing! The drinks were strong and smooth, while the food was amazing! The vibe was there! We both would recommend for a night out! Especially when you're going to the shows next door! :) We recommend the tomahawk for two!!

I really enjoyed The Grill! Our waitress Donnie was great, and made some solid recommendations! DO NOT skip the Salted Honey Herb Rolls! I repeat! DO NOT SKIP the Salted Honey Herb Rolls! We came for brunch, & I had the Lechon Asado Hash, which had a great combination of flavors!! The addition of the plantain really balances the pork in the dish, and the sauce was perfect! The Grill Punch was delicious and I’d lead with that drink! For dessert, I really liked the Pavlova & some other stars of the show included the crab cake Benedict along with the half chicken with chimichurri sauce! Honestly, I would come here again. The ambiance is perfect and the staff were all great! Keep up the great work!!

Erin was a great server! We had the seafood platter, ribeye, and Beef Wellington and everything was delicious. The mushroom side was very flavorful also.

This fine dining restaurant was great. The food was phenomenal & the service was too. Definitely recommend if you haven’t came already. The prices are pricey but it’s a fine dining restaurant so it’s to be expected

Foods was AMAZING. One of best burgers and fries I've had at a restaurant. Hands down!!!! Lobster sandwich was also delicious. I was pleasantly surprised. Loved the staff. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Place was spotless. Highly recommend.

The Grill absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance sets the tonemodern, stylish, and upscale without feeling stuffy. Perfect for a date night or a special evening out. The food was outstanding across the board. We started with the baked dip and fresh bread, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. The soup was comforting and flavorful, a great way to kick things off. For the mains, the shrimp pasta was cooked beautifully shrimp were tender and well seasoned, and the pasta was creamy without being heavy. The roasted chicken entrée was juicy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with crispy fries and a delicious sauce. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and plated. Dessert was simple but satisfying, and the drinks complemented the meal well. Service was attentive and professional, and timing between courses was just right. You can tell this place takes pride in both the food and the overall experience. Highly recommend The Grill if you’re looking for great food, a classy atmosphere, and a memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back.

Everything was top tier, the customer service, food and ambience. I literally can’t wait to go back again. Craving for that tender medium rare steak I had with Chimmichurri sauce I think was the sauce I had, and it was so good. Never had it with steak!

I am so glad they are trying new restaurants in Virginia, I can honestly say everyone I came in contact with was attentive, professional and had a sense of humor, if the customer service is off - it's a done deal for me. I really enjoyed the ambience, music and the food (skirt steak,salad and fries and pineapple upside down cake. The food was fresh and delicious, I'm sure the summer vibes here will be super packed better try it before the weather warms up :)

The food was amazing especially the lobster bite, not to mention the drinks were also amazing. Our server Alyssa was amazing, she catered to us with care and patience. Overall a 10/10 experience, we would definitely come back.

My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was flavorful, fresh, and truly reminded us of the quality we’re used to back home in Miami. It’s not often we find a place that matches that standard, but this restaurant absolutely did. Our server, Alfonso, delivered excellent service! He was friendly and attentive, and didn’t blink twice when we wanted to change out a couple items. Management also deserves special recognition. Mrs. Kelly went above and beyond to ensure our visit was well‑received, checking in with such genuine care that it elevated the entire experience. From the hospitality to the food, everything exceeded our expectations. It felt like a little taste of South Florida in VA. We left feeling appreciated and well taken care of. Highly recommend.

Liz was amazing! She was training someone else and still delivered top-tier service. Her food recommendations were spot on, and everything was delicious. They also went the extra mile to do something special for my wife’s birthday, which meant a lot to us. Overall, this place was amazing, and we will definitely be back!

Overall great experience. We had Alfonso as our waiter. His knowledge of the menu and recommendations were awesome. We had a wobbly table that was noticed by staff early and we were moved immediately. Water was always full and plates were gone as soon as we took the last bite. We had the “all the bites” as the appetizer which was incredible and the salted honey rolls which gives Texas Roadhouse rolls with cinnamon butter a run for its money. The oysters were ok. I’d still go to the Atlantic. Entrees were the seafood pasta and red snapper. Both were great. Cheesecake to wrap it up left two happy customers. Payment in the form of a QR code dropped at the table made payments and any splits easy. Auto gratuity of 20% so watch that but I’ll pay for quality any day. We will definitely go back because the steaks, burgers, and lobster rolls also sounded so good. Would recommend.

I recently visited The Grill in Virginia Beach for brunch and I was definitely not disappointed! The food was great, and we were all so hungry, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. We ended up ordering a lot, but it was all worth it. We kicked things off with two appetizers. The Crispy Calamari was perfectly cooked—crispy and delicious. I’m usually not one for crab dip, but I have to admit, their Three Cheese Crab Fondue was a game changer. It didn’t have that overpowering crab flavor. For my drink, I opted for the "Without The Punch" cocktail, and it was refreshing. For the main event: the Coconut French Toast. This was not your average French toast. One massive, fluffy slice that could easily pass for a piece of cake, but it was light and tasty. I also ordered Fancy Chicken Tenders, but by the time I finished the appetizers & French toast, I didn’t have room for the tenders. I ended up eating one later that night, and it was good. Our server was friendly, personable, and had a great attitude, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere was also pleasant, though I wouldn't have minded if it was a little brighter inside.

Beautiful new venue. They have only been open 4 weeks but you cannot tell by the level of service. We are traveling from out of town for a Track meet and stopped in to celebrate another great weekend. They were fully booked for reservations but accommodated us at the bar. Indigo was absolutely amazing, it was wonderful to feel her hospitality. I didn’t see her stop moving making sure everyone was enjoying their experience.

Delicious food, vibrant crowd. The only issue is if there is no street parking available the parking lot accross the street is costly.

I truly enjoyed my Tuna Bites, Something Blue libation, the Sunset Shrimp Linguine meal and Sorbet dessert. I also appreciated the special treat from my former student Alphonso and will definitely coming back to try more menu items. The manager was very accommodating and made us feel seen and very special! Great experience!

Our waitress was Vivian and she was a pleasure to accompany our party. The Filet Mignon was 10/10. Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes and green beans was also 10/10. The drinks were good as well. Overall, an excellent and fun experience and Vivian made it all worth while. She was very friendly and engaging in our little shenanigans. A very sweet and witty lady. The atmosphere gives vintage Miami vibe. A must stop and experience.

We sat at the bar and they were wonderful! Best Espresso martini and Old fashioned we have tasted in awhile. The crab cake had very little if any filler and the burger was cooked a perfect medium and came with herb fries. It's not a casual date night place. They describe it as an elegant dining experience, I agree. We ordered mushrooms with the crab cake but they paired perfectly with my burger also. I forgot the bartenders names but I would like to give them their kudos. Two men on Sunday, 01/18 around 3:30.

Had a great experience at The Grill. The food was on point, the vibe was lively without feeling over the top, and the service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. You can tell they take pride in the whole experience, not just what’s on the plate. The only small downside was the music, which was a bit louder than it needed to be for easy conversation. Other than that, it was an excellent visit, and I’d definitely go back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. My waitress, Ceara B, delivered the most genuine, attentive, and professional service I’ve ever had. I’ve truly never experienced 5-star, high-end (bougie!) service like that before. She clearly takes pride in her work and makes guests feel valued and cared for the entire time. On top of that, the manager was just as amazing, present, professional, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-tier. This is how dining out should feel. I will definitely be back and highly recommend asking for Ceara if you want an exceptional experience! 👏🏽🍽️✨

Food was AMAZING. My only complaint is they are a new establishment so patience is key if you have it. We did arrive for a 7pm reservation and did not leave until 9:45pm , we had to wait 30 extra minutes after our reservation, so we sat at the bar and after 20 minutes we had to ask a bartender for a drink which was disappointing because I watched other people sit after me and be served right away. Overall , the food was amazing which made the 3 hr experience semi worth it!!

This place is incredible!!! Tried this place for the first time tonight and did the Restaurant Week special and it did not disappoint! The food is amazing, the music and vibes are so awesome, and a great location too!!

Outstanding food and service! I highly recommend this restaurant for some unique dishes and flavors. Everything we ate was amazing. Outstanding job by the chefs and servers. Five stars for everything with the exception of atmosphere. That is not due to a knock on the restaurant itself, but to some workers going in and out of the door in the middle of the restaurant that leads directly outside. It was a cold day so that breeze kept coming in every several minutes. Other than that, outstanding!

I ordered the seafood linguine after asking the waitress if it was good. I was told that it was one of their most popular items and proceeded to order it. What she didn’t tell me was that I had to take the clams, mussels, and prawns out of the shell to eat my meal. It was time consuming and very messy. The dish should come without the shells or somewhere in the description it should be noted. I wanted pasta, not a boil bag. Although the flavors were good; I left covered in seafood seasoning.

I stopped by with family over the holidays with no reservation. We were seated right away but it was just okay. We all had seafood and the table beside us had what looked like ribs, steak and chicken. If we visit again, I'd skip the fish. I enjoyed my branzino but nothing has topped the branzino at Luce Secondo. The cocktail sounded more impressive than it was and is mixed at the table. The mango sorbet and crab deviled eggs were good. The lobster bites were just deep fried pieces and I expected better flavor or at least a great sauce.

What a beautiful brunch. Everything was fresh and delicious. The French toast was so warm and crispy. The crab deviled eggs—yes! The crab avocado toast—was ok. Had better but I stilled enjoyed it. Overall, 8/10 recommend!

The experience was great! The food was amazing, and the waitress had amazing recommendations. The atmosphere was awesome, except the bathroom was dark. My wife waived her hands in the bathroom to see if the lights would come on with no avail. The only critique I had was that the cauliflower was undercooked (more on the raw taste side). I WOULD come again.

Food was flavorful, and the waiters were friendly. The brunch isn’t really my style of brunch. I was looking more so for breakfast like pancakes, waffles etc. but for what they did offer it was delicious. Great overall experience!

First time dining here Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and had good recommendations on what to order. Appetizers were delicious! We had the lobster bites and honey rolls. Entrees were waaaaaay over salted, couldn't even finish my crab cake. Overall a cool place, would probably come back for drinks before a show at the Dome.

We chose the Grill restaurant to host our monthly celebration for dinner for a group of 10 friends, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing-especially given the cost. Because of the size of the group, we had a preselected menu that was to be served family style, and the total bill exceeded !,200 (over $120 per person). For that price point, we expected normal portions of food and a satisfying dining experience, but instead, we received chicken and salmon cut into fourths and 3 ramekins of mac cheese to be split between 10 people. The desserts also had to split between ten people. Several of us left hungry, which should never happen after spending that amount of money at a restaurant. The atmosphere was okay. However it didn't match what you would expect for a higher-end dining experience. The only bright spot of the evening was the waitstaff David. He was very attentive, kind, and professional throughout the night. He truly did his best to provide excellent service. At the price level, food quality, portion size, and overall ambiance should align with expectations. Sadly, this experience did not deliver and unfortunately, neither of us have a desire to ever return.
