I enjoyed my meal inside tonight. It was a late meal so the lobby ended up closing during the middle of our feast. The lobby attendant kindly told us to take our time. That made me feel good and welcomed.

They got new staff. Haven't been here in a while but theyve addressed the concerns. Workers working hard and getting food out as fast as possible. Will try again.

We live around Waco, and keep coming back to this restaurant for take out. Don't mind people who give poor rating, but we have been grateful and lucky to get their good service and, importanly, the chicken! So crispy! We know it is about the taste, but it is so much better than another franchise selling fried chicken! 😁👍🙏

It appeared that they were short on staff. Many fast food places face the same problem. But the 2 employees that I saw were really moving fast. One was taking orders, serving orders and removing food from cookers. And despite all that pressure they were still courteous! Thank you for working so hard for us hungry customers.

Ashley it's very professional, attentive and good at what she does. But I do have to mention that corporate needs to do something about their air conditioning. These poor people are suffering and the AC has been out for a month. There's no excuse to do this to them. The crew was awesome. The food is awesome. Five stars for the crew at this particular location. But my disappointment is with the apathetic Corporate Office that obviously has the money to get this done, but doesn't care enough to do it in a timely fashion. I grabbed lunch from Church's today and had a great experience. The food was yummy, hot and fresh. I got the 2 pc combo with fries, biscuit and sweet tea. The chicken was crispy and tender and the biscuit was buttery and sweet, just the way it should be. The drive through staff was welcoming and friendly. The girl that took my order did it quickly and accurately while also being friendly and courteous. Richard P was the cashier that gave me my food. He too was friendly and quick to get my order to me. Here’s the deal. The food is delicious. The staff is awesome. We got our food in a timely fashion, but that AC not working in the restaurant is unbelievable.. for a whole month, especially during the summertime-in Texas ;Oooof ! That there was the only disappointing thing about this place because we are travelers and we are not the only weary travelers that just want to sit down and enjoy a meal , but the worst thing about it being triple digits outside is going inside and watching these poor employees struggle to breathe and there’s no telling what other kind of health issues comes along with this working environment. One nice/professional lady employee could barely speak because her voice is getting messed up in that heat . Last time I checked “CHURCH’S CHICKEN “ is a big enough corporation to pay for AC maintenance.

Even though there was a line before me, the wait was short, it was simple to order, and the lady and man that took my order and handed me my food were nice. Their chicken is little. The fries are hard over cooked. The biscuits are hard and were very little.. The cook's didn't have any hair nets on. It used to be really good but its gone down alot.

Make sure you visit this location and not the one that is in with a gas station because it is way better. Chicken tenders were fresh, they actually have honey packets (unlike most places), the fried okra was hot, crisp and plentiful, and portion sizes were on point. It is a little on the expensive side but no worse than competitive chicken places. Their honey butter biscuits blow everyone else's out of the water.

Find the breading turns hard when chicken cools, however when put in refrigerator in zip lock bag the breading moistens. It becomes a lot faster and easier to eat for those with very few teeth.

The chicken strips were good, the small fry was just that (small), the Cole slaw was ok, but the biscuit tasted fantastic. It was however the size of a silver dollar (I kid you not). Overall an average experience.

The food wasn't as good as usual. My husband and I had the mixed chicken meals and they were way more greasy this visit. I also had to wait a few minutes to order so they could catch up behind the counter so I was a little disappointed.

Service is pretty quick, but I felt rushed at the drive thru. Also, I've been on a couple of different occasions when my jalapeños were super small which was disappointing.

The food is good just takes too long to receive your order. When going through the Drive Thru you have to put out and park, then wait about 15 to 20 minutes for them to bring you your food.

They take really long to serve your food.. customer service isnt that good, they need new managers that can tell the employees what to do..looks like everyone is lost.. this place also need a good clean up..employees are not paying attention to cleanliness of the restaurant. other than that food tastes great.

Plan on waiting at least 15 minutes at this location from when you order to when you get your food, whether you go drive-thru or walk-in. Even if there's no one in front of you, you can almost guarantee there will be no "fast" in this fast food.

I have been eating at this Church's for over 20 years .But today I purchased a 10 piece meal . And when I say the chicken was over cooked or cooked in dirty grease it was very dark not that golden color it normally is. . And the chicken was very tasteless no season at all . Everything else was good can u guys please do better a seasoning and battering the chicken

Regardless to what churches I visit, they are always out of what i want. For example, I went to churches to take advantage of their chicken tender special. I wanted half spicy and half mild, but they only had one spicy tender at the time and no mild at all, so i had to wait for them to cook it. Afterwards, the order was still wrong when i got home with no spicy tenders and i had all mild tenders. I have not been back sense because of various issues.

I would not recommend this place to any, ever. We went through the deive through and was told it would be at least 15 minutes. I understand being under staffed so we decided to order. We had to re order at the pick up window where we paid and was then directed to wait in the parking lot for over 45 minutes. If you are this busy, be honest. We were then directed to go back through the drive through to pick up our food. When the girl gave us our food a woman in the back geound rolled her eyes and said these people are bout to p$## me off. That did it. Im done. I have asked this place before to review thier managment, Now....i will never go back and I will make sure my friends and family follow suit. RUDE, SLOW, DISRESPECTF.

I ordered my food before I came Postmates said order was ready but while I waited I called to ask where to park because there was no designated pickup order spots. Then I waited another 10 mins before calling again to see if I needed to walk too the door some dining room was closed. Food was ok but my biscuits was missing. When I called about that the guy that answered was a smart as so I just said thank you and hung up. I spent $25 for rude service, slow service, and an incomplete order. I will never put my money into them again!!!!!!!!!

Super filthy walked in almost fell there was water and coke spilled all in the entrance of front door. The lady I'm guessing manger was just talking to her friends didn't care to help me or cleanthe fitly mess by front door. I have eaten here almost every Sunday after church services for the past 16 month. For most of last year they had an experienced crew that worked well together. But these last few months it has been a stream of new faces. Today the cashier (wearing a nose ring tha looked like snot) got my order wrong. I have been ordering the same lunch for 16 months. When I pointed out that what she had rung up was not what I ordered she began to blame me, telling me that what she had input was what I had ordered. I slowly repeatedmy order which with much facial attitude she rang up. I made the mistake of assuming that she got it right this second time. When I received my meal it was not what I asked for (two legs) but was one leg and a thigh! The restaraunt was not clean. While eating my meal a few other customers had to go back to the counter because they too did not get what the had wanted. Good employees make for a good dining experience. Poorly trained employees with an attitude that seeks to blame the customer make for a bad dining experience.

I am visiting Waco and must say this location makes me not want to go to another Church’s restaurant. My order was brought to my car in the drive thru. I did not realize nothing like silverware, napkins, or condiments were not put in my bag nor did the employee ask me before she had me pull forward to serve the next vehicle. I got to my hotel to eat and the chicken was so dry and hard that the crust just fell off the chicken. The only thing that gave them a 2 star was the biscuit but then again I got no butter or honey for it. Definitely would not recommend this location.

We stopped here after a long trip to Austin and in a hurry to get home to Fort Worth thinking we could quickly eat and get back on the road. But when we ordered 2 2 pc mixed dinners and 1 all white dinner,after 15 minutes of waiting because the cashier Burtram told us the cook had just dropped white meat in fryer we were then told it would be another 15 minutes because he dropped dark meat instead (when they had a whole big tray of dark meat already and no white)! I took tenders and my husband and daughter took all dark meat. The next day I called and let them know what happened. A manager called me back and when I told him we didn't live there he told me he would get with his manager and get us coupons good for Fort Worth. That was 10/29/21. Haven't heard anything since then ! This Church's doesn't care about customer service at all!!!!

Dry chicken for sure ! Small portion of fries and just thrown in the bag !!! This is very upsetting. And on top the staff forgot my extra biscuits! And didn’t even give me honey! After I asked!. Worst experience ever, arrived at 9:50, was told it would be a 15 minute wait after convincing the order person to start my order. They were hesitant to work and did not seem to care that I was there to order something, and online it says they do not close until 11 mind you, and the lady tried to tell me they close at 10:15. Between 9:50 to 10:15 all of the workers sat around and stared at me, doing absolutely nothing but talking. Then one of the employees miraculously filled a box with chicken and left (I thought this box was mine because they told me I had to wait because they were out) and right after that a lady came to the window and told me that they just now started up the machine again, and I have to wait another 15 minutes. More time passes, and I finally get my order 45 minutes later waiting in a drive-through. This is the worst service I have ever heard of, do not recommend at all. Stay away.

I ordered a 3 piece tender meal & it didn’t come with gravy. When I called and asked to speak to the manager he said I had to ask for the gravy. I asked if it came with it and he said yes but you have to ask for it because some people get ranch. Lol now I’m just sitting here eating dry tenders just because I didn’t ask for the gravy that it was suppose to come with 😂

I have eaten at many church's before but I've never had one where I had to throw the food away. It was absolutely disgusting. The corn was so mushy you couldn't eat it and the chicken was burned to a crisp. I ordered a 6 piece and got 3 bony wings, a breast and a thigh. Yes, that's right, that equals 5. My wife ordered the baked chicken and it was so dry it could not be eaten. When I called and spoke to the manager. She stated that she cooked it herself like somehow that would make it better. The chicken had a rancid taste like the oil was dirty. I just threw 30 plus dollars out in the street. I warn you to save your money and go somewhere else. Do not eat at this location, it's nasty.

Did a online order that would be ready at 4:35 pm and drove up at 4:37, waiting in the drive thru and was told to wait on the side and they would bring it out. I walked in at 5:15 asking what was the hold up? There excuse was there was only 2 people working yet when I walked in obviously there is more than 4-5 people. They weren't slow and they had plenty of food ready. I counted 15 cars they helped while I was waiting. I asked for a refund and they refused to give me a refund in the store said were making your food now time now being 5:20. Very disappointed.

I went in the restaurant instead of the drive thru because I wanted to try the wraps I heard people talking about. It wasn't that many people only two cars in the drive thru and one guy in front of me who order was already taken. I walked in it was two girls in the front one guy in the back, nobody greeted me or even said give them a min. Usually they have the best chicken BUT yesterday evening it was dried(old) and tasteless. If I didn't live so far away, I would have returned for a refund. Tried giving to the neighbor cats, they didn't even want it. $15 wasted 😟 I called several times to complain but no one answered.

This place sucks I can't tell you how many times I've ordered chicken and it was old. When I told them they gave me more old chicken. The manager there sucks also. My husband ordered the 24 piece tender family meal at the drive through. The lady literally disappeared for three minutes... She eventually came back and said what do you want for your sides. My husband asked her if we could do half spicy... But she kept repeating what do you want for your sides.... We gave her the sides and she was done.....she was rude and terrible at customer service. I will never go there again and wouldn't recommend anyone ever go there

30 minutes for 3 biscuits, 1 large mashed potato and 4 pepper poppers. Come back and the order is wrong. Get some better management and employees in there. 3 times there with the same person taking order and has attitude every time, send her behind cook station, suits her better

Chicken was so hard I didn't order 4 wings. Mashed potatoes were so thick my spoon stood up by itself. Dry potatoes with not enough gravy. Are you saving the gravy for someone else?
