I’m a regular at this restaurant and can’t say enough about it. The majority of the staff is fantastic, they’re all very friendly and good at what they do. The food always comes right and the kitchen is always willing to make accommodations for anything on the menu. It’s our go-to spot every time family is in town.
The Baja shrimp tacos were good but Angelina herself made this a 5-star experience. She was so sweet and attentive to us, always made sure our glasses were full and that we had everything we needed. I want to come back specifically to experience her service again. She deserves a significant raise.
Our waiter was awesome! The food was delicious and good portion sizes. It was a little crowded, but we were a group of 9, so tables had to be put together. All in all, though, it was a fantastic night!
I Had a great time, the waitress was so AWESOME. She treated us as though we were family. Was very knowledgeable on the history of the restaurant, gave great sugestions not only for this visit, but made suggestions for our next visit. Dinner tasted so good. Everything was very fresh. I highly Reccommend this place and Kayla I highly Reccommend as your server. Thx
The waitresses are friendly. The food is great. Couldn't ask for a better place
Best Chuys we’ve visited and we’ve tried many in several Texas cities. The food was super fresh, the service quick, and the atmosphere was upbeat. The space was clean, even the restrooms were clean
My wife and I were deciding on whether or not to go out to dinner, just because of the usual. Poor service, high prices, order never right, and just not good ol home cooking. But we decided to go to Chuy’s. We sat right down, and had Joaquin as a server. He smiled the entire time. Our drinks were never empty. Our order was perfect, and the food was great. Thank you Joaquin for making our experience amazing! We need more servers like you. You never made us feel like we were a burden on you!
Great food, really good prices, and friendly staff. What more could you ask for?!?!?
Love us some Chuys! We have 2 within a couple of miles of our house in Austin, and of course the original on Barton Springs. My favorite is chicka chicka boom boom.
This was the first time I had ever been to Chuy's. The hostesses and our waiter were both very friendly. I could have made a meal out of the creamy jalapeno dip on its own. Their salsa is good, and the nachos were excellent. I will definitely be back.
Good food. Its a big place and on a Friday night it's packed. Place to be.
Hadn't eaten at Chuy's in a while. Large dishes, reasonably priced, food was good, service was excellent.
The cheese queso is very good! I could have made a meal out of it by itself!! The food is good I try to go wherever I am in Waco!
I ordered take-out, because I absolutely love Chuy’s (specifically this location). I ended up not feeling well after eating, and I contacted customer service. Without skipping a beat, Danielle contacted me the next morning and followed up with an email. She was so kind, communicative, and immediately resolved the issue. The service at this location is incredible, and the staff truly care about your dining experience. I will be back for sure to give it another try - this is the only time I have ever had an issue (and I come often!). I highly recommend Chuy’s!
Let me tell y’all something. If you are lucky enough to come to this Chuy’s, I hope y’all are able to get served by Kenny. He is the GOAT waiter - there’s no debate. Kind, friendly, gave my sister her meal for free because she just defeated cancer. Kenny is great, Chuy’s is great, food is great, vibes are wonderful. Thanks Kenny and thanks Chuy’s. Also he gave us like 5 creamy jalapeño’s, one for each of us. He is that guy.
We are a big family so hit the waitlist option online before heading out. Very minimal wait . Service was fast. Food was hot. No need to ask for refills
Great dip offered with chips and salsa. Great serving sizes.
I usually always come to Chuys and have no problems but today I had an AMAZING time, PEDRO was my server and he’s phenomenal. i’d tip this guy my entire life savings if it wasn’t only a few dollars. W server. W food. W restaurant. Gobbless.
Awesome food at reasonable prices. A bit out of the way but if you're using GPS, won't be a problem. Had fish tacos with green chili rice, and charro beans, all excellent! The appetizer chips were light and fresh and salsa tasty. If you like Tex Mex, take the time if you are traveling by like we were, stop by, you won't regret it!
We dined in for dinner here and we left full and satisfied. Our waitress, Vanessa was very kind and was amazing. We definitely will be returning.
Update Dec 11 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Average kind of night as far as it being busy.e and my boyfriend went along with my mom and sister this time around, this was their first time. We had great service and once again our food was delicious. Me and my boyfriend shared the beef fajitas again while my mom got a chimichanga with fajita beef, and my sister got cheese enchiladas. Everyone enjoyed their food! Can't wait to go back and visit! It's always been a good time! Thanks again Chuy's! 2 Weeks Prior ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was a really busy night when we went, we we're quoted 20-30 mins, but we were sat in about 15! We always had chip and dip, the thin crispy chips are our favorite. My boyfriend and I shared the beef fajitas for 2. We received our food in a very timely manner considering how busy they were. We were very happy, and our waitress was very kind to us. Thank you Chuy's!
Chuy's is always a win (even though it is a different experience these days than it was 10 years ago), but I'm writing this review to recommend THIS location and DEVIN... Seriously the best and kindest service we've ever had at a Tex-Mex place ever. Just hope you get placed in her section!!!
There was no wait, the food was great and came quick. There was a good number of people there, too. They were top notch on the customer service and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience here. A special shoutout to Pedro making a night to remember. I'm Definetly looking forward to going back . 10/10 will definitely recommend
Such a great place for yummy Mexican food! The wait time can be lengthy, but so worth it.
Alisha, Alisha, Alisha that's what you call excellent service girl you rock. The food was so amazing and I most definitely will return and thanks to Alisha..
Makenzi was amazing!! The Wife and I will be back soon!! Update since the last visit. Silas is killing it in the kitchen, 👌 his plating and cooking is on point! Great job! Update Charles was amazing as our server that's one hard working guy my cup was never empty food was amazing and service outstanding! Update for our Current visit Our server Peyton was amazing she was on point with the service, refills, and keeping our chips stocked. She made sure our table was clean at all times and was so nice to my wife and I we just love coming to Chuys outstanding job Peyton you are exemplary!
Very large almost overflowing plates, food was phenomenal waitress was attentive and professional. By the way >>> the burritos are absolutely as big as yo face >>> IF NOT BIGGER
Fast service great food, my service dog in training was treated well and everyone followed the ADA rules, love that! Really helps in training!!
Always enjoy coming to this location when we drive North. Food is always fresh and extra flavorful.
We had my sister's dog with us and they were VERY welcoming while we had him on the patio - even brought him a bowl of water. It was a little bit of a wait on a Friday night, but definitely worth it. The servers were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and the jalapeño ranch was so good.
PEDRO YOU ARE AMAZING! I have never had such a great experience at a restaurant before like this. Pedro was fast and accurate with our entire order, so kind to our kids! Our drinks were never empty, our chip basket stayed full and so did the dip. The recommendations he gave were amazing and just what we were wanting. We want to thank you Pedro, you don’t have many waiters/waitresses like him often! I hope you only succeed in life because you deserve it!
This place was yummy! I loved the chicken enchiladas rice and beans. The kid t-shirts were adorable. Waitstaff was quick and efficient. We got a kids plate and adult plate with tea and a small guacamole and it was about $25. We came a little before 6 on a Thursday and it was getting packed. I would come early. We are from Canada so the fresh salsa was very tasty but a little too spicy. Fun atmosphere.
Food was excellent …. hot when came out was definitely satisfied and happy with service portions and quality of food our server flor was awesome and very attentive she needs a raise very happy
Birthday party for my youngest granddaughter. Chuys kept the cake and ice-cream for after there amazing food. What a great time and service. We all love Chuys.
Jordan was super awesome! She was very attentive and gave great service. My table didn’t go ever without not having a refill on our drinks, or without having chips or salsa. Our food came out great and fast. She would even give us updates while we were waiting on when the food was coming out. She told us that she was just getting out of training, for someone new to serving you guys sure do have a great one. She was very friendly!!
Always a relief when you get a server like Wendy! She kept on top of things and most importantly very personable! We enjoyed our visit and will definitely come back
Fajitas were amazing. Always love thier creamy jalapeños sauce/dip. Good service.
I got the steak burrito its like $13, that was amazing 👏 plus the chips an salsa was freakin amazing I will definitely be going back our waiter was as nice as she could be always checking up on us. Wished I coulda tipped her more... great restaurant.
Great friendly attentive wait staff and bartenders. Food is excellent. It is Tex-Mex.. so it will not compare to authentic mexican food. I have never has a bad experience.
Fun Atmosphere, Flavorful Fajitas, and Margaritas Worth Coming Back For ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chuy’s never disappoints when it comes to fun vibes, bold flavors, and a Tex-Mex experience that feels like a little fiesta every time. We stopped in for dinner, and everything from the service to the drinks hit the mark. I went with the chicken fajitas, and they came out sizzling just the way they should—hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, with perfectly grilled onions and peppers. Wrap all that up in a warm tortilla with some of their house-made guac and boom—you’ve got a party on your plate. And speaking of parties, their house margarita is no joke. It was smooth, strong, and refreshing with that just-right balance of citrus and tequila. Definitely one of the better house margs I’ve had in a while. My wife ordered the cheese enchiladas, and she was all smiles from the first bite. The enchilada sauce had a rich, smoky flavor that brought the whole dish together, and she raved about the creamy, melty cheese inside. Her strawberry margarita was fruity, fresh, and not overly sweet—just how she likes it. The whole experience had that signature Chuy’s charm—colorful decor, upbeat energy, and a staff that genuinely seems to enjoy making sure you have a good time. Whether you’re craving sizzling fajitas, cheesy comfort food, or just a great margarita with your better half, Chuy’s delivers. We’ll definitely be back for round two (and probably round three). Highly recommend!
Chuy's is our favorite place to eat wherever we can find it! Visiting Waco, we were so glad to find it when we Googled nearby restaurants. The food is always top notch. The chips are light and crispy. The white sauce is so good I'd lick the bowl clean if I wasn't in public. Often I get the chimichanga, but this time I got the flautas and they were amazing and plentiful. My husband always gets the enchilada and gets a fried egg on top. We can't get enough! The waitress was so friendly and fun. They are dog-friendly on the patio and it's sheltered from the wind so we didn't have any problem with our little dog.
I personally had a great experience at the bar for the food and drinks. I ordered another drink and it was great. I ordered another one and it never came out so I just paid my bill and moved on? Don’t know what the problem was cause I asked and got no response or reply so I just paid my bill politely and left it alone!!!
We all got burritos and not only were they big portions, plus rice and beans, they were all delicious. Fast service as well!

My friends and I decided to eat here tonight before we headed out to a college football game. Even though it was busy, the service was excellent and we were well taken care of. I had the taco salad…

Handled our large takeout order perfectly! Food was delicious.... Especially the jalapeno sauce!
Great chips and salsa and a huge and varied menu. Always good food and service the several times we have visited.
We visited with our grandchildren. We were seated quickly. Food was brought out quickly. We all enjoyed the meal and the staff was wonderful.

Awesome as usual. clean. Very attentive server. Justin was great!! Delicious food. Would be a place to stop again when in town.
Ordered takeout to eat in the hotel. This is a Saturday night and the restaurant is very busy. We ordered Baja Shrimp tacos and fajita chicken tacos and both were excellent. The sauces were yummy…
Our service was a gentleman, I don't know his name but he was not very personable. Salsa was sad it was so chunky tasted like pico. Queso was underwhelming. The lady serving the table next to us was so extremely sweet and bubbly so I know they do offer great customer service. However we just didn't receive it. I didn't take a picture of our salsa but pretty much this photo is what it looked like only with ZERO liquid. It literally looked like pico.
I really like this place. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. They give excellent tips on what to order and what two margaritas to mix together. The food is delicious! I wasn't too impressed with the steak in my fajitas. It tasted pretty burt and had a strong charcoal flavor. Their chicken is marinated and is extremely juicy and delicious. Their margaritas are very good. I highly suggest mixing Mango and Strawberry. They also have a skinny margarita so there's a little fun for everybody! I highly recommend coming and enjoying this amazing Tex-Mex restaurant!
Frankly I’m not a huge fan of all the food, loved the chips salsa and other dip but my overall food was meh, no issues just wanted a stronger punch of flavor. The vibe is great and staff is friendly, go see for yourself!
My fajitas were great. I ordered beef but got chicken. The server redeemed herself by packaging up the chicken fajitas along with additional chips and green sauce!
Great curbside experience! Lots of food for the price well packaged! Had a ton of chips and salsa with it. Just like at the table! Love this place!
I got the Bang Bang chicken and it was spicy! Added a side of avocado and sour cream and it balances out the spicy perfectly. Be sure to ask about GF options. Their said that their corn tortillas are GF but are possibly cross contaminated in the kitchen with other wheat items. Their chicken in the bang bang chicken is GF but not all of their meat options are.
Tacos al Carbon good. Loved the lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Definitely add peppers and onions. Refried beans ok.
As far as chain Tex Mex goes, Chuys is one of the best. Typical environment inside the restaurant and this one has a good amount of patio seating. Food quality is great and its usually busy so service can be slow but its always friendly. A bit pricier than On The Border or other chains but worth it IMO.
We used to go to the original in Austin. Definitely not as good as back then. Chips used to be homemade and thin but now just bagged style chips. Definitely has a different style to tex-mex but many good items worth trying like the steak burrito, flaunts, and my favorite the crispy tacos and the Mexi Cobb salad. Anything and everything with creamy jalapeño sauce. Enchiladas are not not my style here. Prices are fair.
“Overfed and Underwhelmed: My Chuy’s Waco Experience” When you walk into a restaurant, the welcome sets the tone. At Chuy’s in Waco, that opening note fell flat. I was greeted not with hospitality but with a finger point — “take that one over there.” It’s a small thing, but it frames the whole meal. Restaurants aren’t just about food; they’re about how people feel when they sit down. Chips and salsa landed quickly, and I’ll give credit where it’s due: the chips were whisper-thin, crunchy, and almost weightless, the kind of chip that shatters between your teeth. A perfect vehicle for dips. The green salsa (creamy jalapeño, as I later recalled) was bright and flavorful, though it arrived sloppily streaked on the bowl’s rim. That lack of wipe-down before hitting the table summed up a service style that felt hurried and inattentive. The red salsa? Uneventful. Thin, watery, and missing the spark of heat or depth of flavor you expect at a Tex-Mex table. The appetizer — Fajita Chicken Nachos, listed as “Ponchos” — was both the high point and the downfall of the meal. Piled high with cheese, guacamole, jalapeños, pico de gallo, and smoky chicken, the plate looked like a Tex-Mex parade. And to be fair, it tasted good. But here’s the catch: this “appetizer” could feed two people comfortably. As a solo diner, it left me overwhelmed. This is where portion control matters. A fine-dining kitchen knows when to scale down. Chuy’s, for all its color and kitsch, doesn’t seem interested in balance — they lean on abundance as their calling card. I had planned to order an entrée, but there was no way. The Ponchos were too much. I pivoted instead to dessert: Tres Leches cake. Again, size ruled the day. The slice was huge, swimming in sweet milk, drizzled with caramel, and topped with strawberries. It looked the part and tasted fine — moist, rich, traditional. But after a mountain of nachos, it became too much of too much. Sometimes indulgence needs restraint to really shine. To drink, I chose the Coconut Mojito. Fresh mint, lime, and coconut promised tropical refreshment, and it looked crisp in the glass. But flavor-wise, it never transcended. It was fine — but didn’t taste crafted with the hand of a mixologist. The service echoed the theme: functional but uninspired. My server, Sean, delivered food without energy, brought the check before I’d ordered dessert, and never once suggested an add-on or upsell. In another context, that restraint might be appreciated, but here it felt more like disengagement. The décor leaned into Chuy’s trademark quirk: walls crowded with chihuahua artwork. Some diners find it playful; I found it more distracting than charming. Combined with the lunchtime lull and a lack of warmth in the room, the vibe just didn’t pull me in. At the end, I tally a mixed experience. The Ponchos were tasty, the chips light, the creamy jalapeño dip memorable. But portion sizes bulldozed subtlety, the service lacked spark, and the overall hospitality felt half-hearted. A restaurant’s response to reviews often shows how much they value guests. A glance at Google reveals silence from management — a telling detail. Chuy’s has its loyal fans, and I understand why. Big plates, bold toppings, and colorful walls make an impression. But for me, it never rose above “okay.” Not bad, not terrible, just not somewhere I’d hurry back. I’ll give it four stars, and that’s generous — carried mainly by those fajita chicken Ponchos.
We came here on a Thursday night of Baylor graduation weekend. It was packed. Luckily there was plenty of parking. We only had 3 people so we did not have to wait even though there were larger groups waiting. Restaurant was clean with some cool decor. The service was good. Our waitress kept checking on us even though it was extremely busy. The food was good and in my opinion inexpensive. Starter chips and sauces upon request. I had the Elvis Presley Memorial Combo. It had a little bit of everything. I was unable to completely finish my plate, which is a rare occurrence. It might have been because of all the delicious chips I ate before it came out. I took the rest with me and heated the next day. Definitely a good experience.
First time trying Tex-Mex the food was flavorful and a bit spicy. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. the restaurant was very whimsical but a bit crowded.

Hi I ordered Beef Enchiladas plate with rice and beans take out and a small tea. The enchiladas were cold and the beans taste like can beans. They didn’t put any tortillas either with my order
Heard a lot about this place and thought we'd try it. Margaritas were overpriced at $11 so I didn't oblige. The mild salsa was tasty but way too hot for us. We LOVED the cilantro ranch-like sals…
The service tonight from the young lady carrying out orders really could have been much better. When you spend money at this establishment often and just spent 40 dollars on 4 pieces of cake mind you.. not a whole cake and she didn't want to give me the complimentary chips and salsa. I think the restaurant would rather your service be better than try to save them on chips and dip. She made sure it was for 1 serving as well.
Very disappointed, waitresses couldn't care less, forgot kids meal desert(kids love them), didn't care that the order wasn't prepared correctly, no napkins, the simple things make a difference.
Our food was alright, service? Unfortunately non existent. Myles W. Seemed uninterested in serving us. Never checked up on us, took awhile to receive stuff we kindly asked for, (plates, knives, bowls, soda ECT.) Food runner was also not friendly and unhelpful when we asked for the stuff our server wasn't giving us.
I understand that this is a college hot-spot and I went at an off time but the food was as not as great as it was hyped up to be. The salad was quite wilted and bitter. One of the friends I was dining with ordered vegetarian quesadillas and received chicken. I have previously gone here in the past but my most recent visit was a bit disappointing.
Chuy's is a fun vibrant restaurant. However, there just aren't many options for Gluten Free diners. Even the queso has gluten! So if you are GF and go to Chuy's, just know that dinner will consist of guacamole and margaritas.
Having been in the food service industry for over 35 years, I was so disappointed with the customer service here. The only one that showed any was our server Lindsey. No smiles, flat out rudeness, and not helpful from the rest of the staff.
Enchiladas were cold so we sent them back and the second set was hard and the inside cheese not melted. They didn’t even offer to take the meal off. We ate it because we were hungry and tired of waiting. Service slow. Nachos didn’t have much meat on them so we had to combine meat off one nacho together another to eat it. They sat us out in the patio but didn’t ask if we wanted to be seated there or inside.
Chuy's has a certain expectation level for me, lively with great food and friendly service. This particular location missed the mark for me. Went here for lunch and the food was bland and dry, barely tasting any grilled onions etc in my fajita chicken quesadilla. The hostess was nice, but the waiting staff (at least the one I had) could use a bit of a refresher. Unfortunately, I would not revisit this location.
Food was good, server was attentive. At the end of our dinner this employee decided it was funny to start hitting the window with the broom and make noise while we were at our table. Then she started picking through the top window and laughing. I don’t know what was the purpose, but the noise was so loud that we thought the window could break at anytime. Great restauran, hopefully the staff can be trained in providing a better customer experience.
We had been to Chuys in Kansas City and saw there was one here in Waco, we stop in got a booth ans we sat and sat no one came to say hi, what would you like to drink or anything. 20 minutes wait no service
We live 40 miles away from Waco but frequently make the drive in to Chuys in Waco - our favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, our last visit was not good. The food was bland, tasteless, and just not up to par. Service was very good but the salsa and green sauce seemed unseasoned. The steak burrito was great but the burrito bowl was - again just tasteless and totally forgettable. Chuys Waco needs help. Al & Teddy Culp - Norse, Texas
Absolutely egregious wait time. Yes, we went on a Friday night with a party of 8, but we literally watched as the staff bring in several other parties of the same size before us, all of whom arrived after us. We waited over an hour for our table and over an hour for our food, and the food at Chuy’s is most definitely not worth a two hour wait… I’d avoid this spot if you were to come on a Friday night. I only gave two stars for the creamy jalapeño dip.
Service was great. Had a table of five and everything went smoothly. But sadly we were all let down by the food. EVERYTHING tasted very bland. Chili sauce was super nasty and the meat in the enchiladas wasn’t very seasoned. Everything honestly tasted like hospital food. Nobody complained because we aren’t that type. I even tried a piece of a kids quesadilla….tasted like they used American cheese. Tasted more like a grilled cheese sandwich then a quesadilla. If they are using American cheese in the kids food they should be embarrassed. Won’t be coming back. Elvis Presley would want his name taken off the menu if he knew the food they served with the Elvis dish.

My wife and I were brought to a table that had not been cleaned. There was a tray on the table with beans and rice all over the floor and my chair. The waitress apologized and removed the tray but we had to request a new table. They didn't offer to clean the table or move us. Chuy's is generally an ok option but this location was seriously disgusting... The rest of the restaurant appeared as well kept as our initial table. We won't be stopping here again on our way back to Austin.
Absolutely terrible, salsa was runny with no taste, took forever to get food, ordered chicken chimichanga and it was nothing but straight good cheese. Terrible! Will NOT go back
Absolutely awful service by our server Sierra tonight. We were there for a celebratory dinner and drinks. We never got a chance to order food because we were unexpectedly handed our checks after a few drinks. We felt like we were being kicked out and we know we did not drink enough to be cut off. It was still only two hours before closing and my group felt so uncomfortable we went home without dinner. I come here often and have never experienced such unpleasant service.
The wife and I love going to Chuy's when we're in Waco. But the service was subpar to say the least. It wasn't that busy and our waitress was all over the place. The only thing good was the food. Even the hostess girl was like "Is there anything I can help y'all with?"... Yeah we'd like a freaking table. I'm not standing here to look cool.. anyways the only saving grace was that food. Even though she didn't bring our appetizer out until after we had already gotten our food . Oh well it is what it is I guess.
Hosting was terrible, they told us 15-20min wait. I checked with the host and was told we would be next. 15 more minutes goes by and host still says we are next as people who came in after us have been seated. Management needs to work on this. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
The tables were dirty, the staff wasnt attentive and the bathroom had only scolding hot water. I can only imagine how many people avoided washing their hands..eww
Food is not authentic. Salsa were cold and food got mixed up someone else's. Sorry, but I will not go back again.
First of all I hate being that guy. Posting on here so maybe it’ll get some attention and make their system better. I ordered food to go on April 27th 2024. When my wife picked up the order, our order was wrong. They had to remake the order of Chicka-chicka Boom-boom enchiladas. When she brought the order home and I started to eat it I noticed the chicken was raw! I left a message on their website and received no response. I had food poisoning from chicken from another business last year and it was the worst 3 days of my life. You don’t mess around with raw chicken. That order left a bad feeling for me so I didn’t eat Chuy’s for a while. Fast forward to last night June 2nd 2024. I went inside the restaurant with my wife and two year old son and ordered food. When they brought my food out I found RAW chicken AGAIN. I was not upset with my server. It wasn’t his fault and I think he did a good job. Finding raw chicken again is unacceptable. If it has happened to me in my last two visits, there’s no way it isn’t happening to other people. They need to fix their process because clearly something is wrong and people will get sick. Good luck and order at your own risk.
Called at least four times today. Was placed on hold and told they were going to get someone who could take my order. Was on hold so long the call got rerouted and rang to the main line several times. Finally I got a male on the phone that took my order and said it would be ready in twenty minutes. Called when I arrived for my order to brought out. 10 minutes later, my order still hasn’t been brought out as I am watching a lady bring others out. I call again and can’t get through. After my fourth call I reach a lady who asks if my order could be under another name. Mind you this is the same lady I spoke with when I arrived that said it would be right out. I explained that a male took my order. She placed me on hold and he came to the line and said it would be out shortly. 30 minutes later and my order has not been brought out to my car. This is the worst service I have ever received. Update - after fourty minutes I walked in and was told they were still working on it and I could wait in the lobby. I refused and told them I’d go back to my car at curbside and wait. Five minutes later my food was brought out and the lady told me the manager wrote my order down but didn’t put it in. GREAT. 40 minutes for an order that I was told would be ready in 15
I approached the host for a table for me and my husband. The host, named Emma, in Waco, TX, told me to button up my top, claiming it was a kid-friendly establishment. For context, I was wearing a button-up shirt with only the first button undone, showing a small part of my upper chest and lower abdomen. I told her I would not button it up and asked why I needed to. I also requested to see the policy or dress code that stated my outfit was inappropriate. She then tried to embarrass me in front of her coworkers and other guests, which was completely uncalled for. Thankfully, I didn’t let her behavior get to mei refused and was seated to my table .The manager later came to our table, served our food, and didn’t say a word about my outfit. I’m extremely upset by how unprofessional she was clearly intimidated! Jealousy is so ugly take care Emma !
