Very friendly and splendid experience to eat here. Staff are waiting to help you, and the food is delectable! My steak was cooked to my exact specifications and the sides were borderline hot (perfect), and their Roadhouse Sauce is very tasty. Was asked by 3 different servers if everything was "To my liking." What a great culture and atmosphere. Love it here!

Wonderful service. The wait was 4 mins on a Thursday evening in a very crowded place. The hostess asked us while we walked to the table if we’d been to that TX RH before. I replied that we’d not been to this one. About 5 mins after sitting down, a supervisor came over and welcomed us, gave us a coupon for a free appetizer and a bag of peanuts. A very nice gesture. The food was great. Just what you’d expect.

We signed in on the online waitlist; which was great! They really do text you to keep you updated on: how long your wait is to when to proceed into the restaurant to assigned deck seating (where u wait for the next available table.) our total wait was 20 min from waitlist..deck to table. Our hostess/server was amazing!! Thank you Sadie for providing my family with excellent service, awesome attentiveness to having an amazing table side personality!! The food was delicious hot! We were well supplied on rolls to drinks by Sadie. Well worth the drive :)

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. The place wasn't too busy. Bobby was our server and was very friendly and helpful. My partner ordered the ribeye and I had the pulled pork sandwich. The ribeye was ordered medium rare but came out extremely rare. It had to be sent back to be cooked a little longer. The pulled pork sandwich was hot and tasty. Overall, a good experience and we will definitely be back next time we're in Waco.

Good food. A long time favorite. Now, I'm about to sound a bit Texan. I reckon. I ordered a cup of their chili. My first time to eat their chili (I've gone to Texas Roadhouse occasionally for decades). I didn't see beans in the chili but it had somewhat of a bean taste. Interesting. I'm going to avoid their chili. Other than that, good food, folks.

Tonight, my lady and I decided to go to this restaurant specifically for prime rib! I thought I would try their chicken fingers to see if they had anything extra! First, my chicken fingers were all breast meat and apparently they had a lemon pepper seasoning that was absolutely delicious. The chicken was extremely juicy. I had two sides of fries and they definitely needed salt!! This is silly, who sends fries out without salt? The prime rib? Absolute perfection. For a piece of meat ordered as rare, this is undoubtedly one of the best pieces of meat I've ever eaten at any restaurant, chain or otherwise. This was ordered with a baked potato and some fries. The meat was so rich that it made me think who has room for the side dishes? Our waitress, Kaitlin was sweet and courteous, but she forgot my beer and I had to ask for it twice. The restaurant was busy, but not that busy. Overall, our food was absolutely excellent and we would definitely return again just for the meat alone. Do yourself a favor, when you are looking for a wonderful prime rib, Waco's pickings are quite slim. Now, you have the answer you need. The steak was the perfect way to end the day 😁💯

Texas Roadhouse rolls never miss!! The cinnamon butter just can’t be beat. Depending on the day, it is pretty quick to be seated and the servers are pretty attentive. Truthfully this was one of the worst experiences we’ve had at Texas Roadhouse. This was our first time at this location. The place was a “steady busy”, however it seemed so cramped. It was hard to get around tables and chairs to get to our booth. Service was the SLOWEST it’s ever been. Waitress was monotonous and seemed out of it. Food was warm. Ordered a rare steak and it was overdone. Just dealt with it because of how long it took her to even come check on us.

Went there tonight mainly for the prime rib. I called the order in, just to receive a call back saying that the prime rib is medium well to well, gross. Prime ribs are supposed to be medium rare. Though I am happy for the call, I am extremely disappointed that they let the prime rib get over cooked

My wife and I drove over an hour to Waco for a late afternoon doctor's appt and decided to have Dinner before heading back home. I want to first make it clear that we love Texas Roadhouse and have been dining in for many many years. We are a retired military family and have visited many locations throughout the US. The wait is always longer than most restaurants, but they typically make up for it with great service and food. After those many great experiences, unfortunately we had a horrible experience at the Waco location last night. We also made a disturbing observation during our visit. We sat and waited for about 20 minutes for a table and as I stated the wait is never an issue for us. However, as we were taken to our seats in the very back of the restaurant, we noticed that there were many small tables open throughout the front and middle of the store. When we arrived at our seats, it was very obvious that 99.9% of everyone back there were minorities (people of color), with the exception of one white family with a mentally ill son. As we sat there and observed the seating of others, it was clear to us that minorities are systematically directed to the back of the restaurant. As I strolled back through the middle and front of the restaurant to confirm my suspicion, I got a sicking feeling in my gut. I saw one black guy at the bar and nearly 100% of the folks throughout the front and middle of the restaurant were caucasian. Our server was very unorganized and repeatedly forgot parts of our order in the kitchen (like tomatoes for the salad, and toppings for bake potatoes). Ordinarily, we understand that servers can have bad days, but given the entire experience it looks very bad. We are in our mid 50s and must say that this experience is by far our worst. At this point, we would not attempt to discourage anyone from dining in at the restaurant chain due to one bad apple. However, we do want to highlight our experience in order to help other families that will come behind us. God bless!

Had reservations at 130 manager gave away our set up table. Then waited an hour and a half for our new table and still didn't sit all together. Waitress didnt use her words so she would just give the typical shoulder srug and point at what she was asking about ( I'm assuming) then walk away with out taking what she pointed at, by the way it was empty dishes placed where they could be taken easily. Then when ordering appetizers we were deciding on she walked away before we finished. We probably would have left if it wasn't for the fact we went for my Dad's birthday.

I ordered the salmon to-go from Roadhouse and it was a huge letdown. For $15, I expected a decent, restaurant-quality portion. Instead, I got a tiny piece of salmon that looked more like a sample than a meal. It was so small that I honestly thought they forgot the rest of my order. Not only was the portion disappointing, but the salmon itself was dry, overcooked, and lacking flavor. The sides were cold and didn’t feel fresh at all. For what they charge, this was absolutely not worth the money. If you’re thinking about ordering the salmon here, save your $15 — the portion size alone is enough to make you regret it.

I went with my husband, we hadnt got there in a few months but I was so anxious to go because I love this place, first thing we got there I asked for a chilli and was cold, ok I can get that home and eat it there, but when our plates got out it was soo little, my husbands fries were literally counted, like that never happened, and the sizes of the steaks where so small and skiny but the prices are up. We can pay more but please dont cut the quality of the steaks!!! and my steak was so overcooked I didnt ask for another because Im always afraid someone will do something to my food. Anyway, the waiter was a good kid, we tipped our 18% but just because his service was good. And then the bill got to us and was almost 15 more than we paid the last time no more than 6 months ago with the same plates, we dont eat nothing different so the prices got up but quality got down!

We ordered a family meal online. We ordered steaks. They were cooked correctly, however were cold. The sides were hot, but were not filled; half the way at best. The entire reason we ordered was for the famous rolls and butter! The entire box of family rolls were burnt! I mean seriously whoever packed them knew better! To the trash they went! Just came off the road and met a friend at the hotel across the street. Showered and walked over for dinner on Saturday 11/8/25. It was a full house with people waiting for tables outside but we found seating at the bar. Ordered the 16oz ribeye, green beans, and a sweet potato. The food was great, the bartender was great, but shortly after I finished my meal it all changed. I ordered 2 large michelob ultra drafts as well as a water during our 1.5hr stay. I finished my meal and went to the bathroom and when I came back I asked for a small ultra to close out and the bartender said she couldn't serve me. Seriously? 2 tall drafts and I'm cut off? She said someone complained but I don't think anyone complained. I think they just wanted to turn the seats. She offered for me to speak to a manager but I didn't want to cause a scene. This was a first date with someone I know and we had so much fun, conversing and laughing, so we were blindsided because we had no clue what we did wrong besides having a nice meal and enjoying each other's company. It was quite embarrassing! We recounted the entire event amongst each other and still don't see anything we did wrong. They embarrassed me only to make room for a new set of patrons at the bar! That's just wrong!

Saddened, and very disappointed. Dinner tonight would have been better spent at chilis. The service from our waiter was definitely not the greatest. The food was even worse. After asking the waiter if the fries were supposed to be doused in oil, he claimed it was " the cheese" clearly it wasn't, and offered no solution. My chicken critters had been battered in the same breading as the fried pickles. I had fried pickles stuck to my critters and all the critters tasted of was pickles. I did not bother to bring it up as the waiter did not seem to care. My partners bbq chicken was so chewy the meal was hardly touched. And the mashed potatoes cold. I didn't bother to complain to manager as I never saw one, when usually there's one around ever corner. Overall yall should do better.

I Have eaten here many times but over the last 6 months it has seemed to take a downhill turn in the Waco Texas area. Today is definitely my breaking point. No matter how bad the service or the food I usually do not leave bad reviews and choose to not leave one at all. Tonight my daughter has some type of issues with the waiter as he expected a larger tip than he received. She had purchased an order to go for her little brother as well grilled chicken, baked potato and salad. He began to eat the salad and found it to be covered in hair. Not just one hair there were clumps of hair all in his salad. I feel that this was not an accident by the amount of hair on this salad. it looks as if someone cleaned out a hairbrush over the salad. I am just beside my self on this. This is so unbelievable and disgusting!! Hoping Managment will assist in looking into this matter once I am able to call in tomorrow.
