Great service. Good food at a fair price. Clean place. I recommend the Tres Leches Cake. I have traveled extensively and eaten at many places. I have been very blessed to take pleasure in the most expensive, highest quality places and I have been forced to eat at some of the quick/kid friendly places as well! One of the most important items to me is cleanliness. If the restroom is not well stocked and clean that is a cause for concern. If the staff are not capable of keeping the customers’ most used place neat and tidy, how can they possibly handle preparing my food and getting my order delivered correctly and promptly. I also observe the host and wait staff. The hostess/greeter must be friendly and knowledgeable to win me over. The person holding this position can make or break the business. I enjoy a menu with a variety of offerings. Our family will normally get an appetizer, main course and a variety of desserts. We enjoy a sampling of items. I usually take notice of the presentation of the food and try to post pictures when possible. Our family enjoys distinctive cuisines. We enjoy cooking together and it is fun to experience different food items at unique places. I do believe that the amount of food served should be equivalent to the price.

Best Tex Mex we had on our drive from Brownsville to San Antonio to Austin to Dallas and we ate at many taqueria to include Torchys and Laredo Taco. Loved the shrimp tacos at Mi Casita and their tres leches was superb! Our waiter was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed it so much we are going to stop in Waco again for round two at Mi Casita as the food was so flavorful

Excellent hole in the wall. Busy during lunch on a weekday and the food was very reasonably priced. Chips and salsa was complimentary. I got the stir-fried chicken with vegetables and avocado. The veggies were cooked well, and the chicken had been marinated so it was juicy and flavorful. Even though no carbs came with this dish, the portion was big enough that I was quite full at the end of the meal. Great spot for a quick, cheap and delicious meal.

This spot is a little hidden gem! Being from San Antonio, I definitely have certain expectations when it comes to going to TexMex restaurants. I must say, this place did NOT disappoint!! It was delicious and the service was prompt and well executed. Definitely will be back and highly recommend it to all!!

The team here is amazing. Mexican food and atmosphere is great too. I love how you can call ahead and drive thru the drive thru window and pick up your order in seconds. One of our favorite go to Mexican restaurants.

The salsa was tasty, not too hot and great flavor. The Tostadas were a little different from what I'm used to but so delicious .  Was seated quickly.  This is more of a family friendly place.  No alcoholic beverages served here. Staff was super amicable. Price was $ very affordable for a family.

Another great discovery on our way to Fort Worth. Service was excellent the gentleman server was knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. Food was very delicious and served hot. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will return.

It's really good place to eat, the food is quality, you get served quickly, and everything is nice clean, but this is a tex mex restaurant and not a Mexican restaurant to be clear. It lacks spice if you're used to real hispanic, but the food is really good. I recommend coming here for quality food

My experience was fairly mixed, so I'll make a list of the pros and cons. Overall, it was pretty mediocre and I wouldnt eat there again. Pros • Beans and rice were flavorful • Great corn tortillas for the enchiladas • Tortilla chips were crisp • Both the sweet and unsweet tea were really good • Our waiter (Isaac) was fast and welcoming, though it was a little awkward that they had him wearing a headset for the drivethru whilst tending to us Cons • Beans and rice were very dry seemingly due to having sat out • The pulled chicken was far too tender, and the seasonings used was a bit overbearing/didnt taste good • The flour tortillas with the chicken fajita enchiladas were dry and awful • Salsa for the chips were cold, and didnt taste good • It was very cold inside, so maybe bring a jacket • There also is a card fee. Our bill for two equalled to $36 minus the tip, woth the fee being $1.30. Which is pretty ridiculous considering almost every business covers card transaction fees for the customer

Went through the drive through this morning . I got the flautas plate with double rice , along with queso and guacamole. Out of everything the queso tasted the best. The flautas were mediocre at best. La fiesta and huaco eatery has better flautas . I didn’t like that they put corn in the rice (I’m a corn hater). Other than that the food wasn’t so great but it wasn’t bad either . Still have a lot to work on . Maybe I should try the breakfast and not the lunch .

Very disappointed after the good reviews I read. I had chicken fajitas and my other friend had beef fajitas. With meats were so salty that neither of us ate much of our lunch. The corn and flour tortillas were tough and barely warm. Our other friend had the sampler platter and she said hers was not flavorful either. I asked if they accepted Visa and they said they did. However they neglected to say that they were charging another $2.00 just for "letting" me use a credit card. This is the only Mexican restaurant that I would NEVER go back again.

Outside of our waitress being very polite and attentive, the food has extremely disappointing. The beans, chips, and tortillas were not made in house and lacked all of the flavor that I’m accustomed. I would expect this type of Mexican food in an area that has no Hispanic population in or around it and is an attempt by someone that has ZERO experience in making Mexican food.
