This Jack in the Box is the BOMB💣 their Lobby is open 24 hours a day which makes it pleasurable and comfortable to dine late at night inside versus eating in your car. Their employees are friendly and delightful.

Centrally located. Both drive thru & indoor counter open for take out. Fast service, friendly staff & they always have price promotions & often have new items on the menu.

Jack in the box is Jack in the box. When you're hungry it will do and you can usually get your food pretty fast. Open 24 so if it's a late night and you need a couple tacos it's there for you.

With refreshingly different selections than many other fast food establishments, count on Jack to really hit the spot. Service here was prompt, courteous, and food came up quickly despite the mid-Sunday bustle. Try upgrading your combo with an Oreo shake; almost too thick for the straw, with whipped cream on top -- yeah, that's what you want. Mmm!

I don't rate this Jack in the Box 5 because I think it is the king among all restaurants. Rather, because it surpasses all my expectations of a fast food chain. The food is good and fast, the restaurant clean, and one time an employee gave me an extra taco. Try the chicken tater melt munchie meal.

Had to take my youngin to the bathroom while my mom was at the doctors. She also wanted nuggets, Jack was our first option. Very clean restaurant, very nice employees. Nice and quiet and they made my caramel iced coffee amazingly. And bonus there's a payphone out front! When's the last time u saw a payphone

5/21/13 LETTUCE EAT TACOS! Awww Tuesday. My favorite day of the week and the most appropriate one for another taco review. Honestly, this JITB location is as close to five star as fast food can get. The parking here is a nightmare though. If the drive-thru line is more than a few cars long, it makes parking for us dine-in people a nightmare. The drive-thru cars block the spots and the way to the exit. During prime fast food hours I've also seen the line of cars reach the end of the parking lot, spilling onto N. Main Street. Not fun. BUT... at the end of the day (literally) when all the other establishments have locked their doors and turned off their lights, Jack is waiting for you. "Come eat here" his voice calls somewhere in the back of your hungry mind. You can even dine-in at a clean table - 24 hrs a day! Pretty awesome. They used to have a great (healthy-ish) teriyaki bowl. I liked that a lot. And the curly fries are pretty good. My favorite menu item is ultimately the taco (2 for $1.00!!). It wasn't always my favorite. An ultra-greasy shell with oily, wilted lettuce and a fried cheese slice over the meat-product inside... hmmm, not so much. But if you ask for extra lettuce they throw it on after cooking the taco. So you get your hot taco and crunchy shell with fresh, crispy lettuce. It totally changes the taco. Learning to ask for this has renewed my love for this killer deal on the JITB Value Menu. And this is the best location to order it from! PS - I'd love to see more vegetarian options. Can you please make potato tacos??

Drive through and parking were not too well thought out. It can be a night mare during busy hours but the burgers, curly fries, tacos and jalapeño poppers are worth the troubles.

They are sometimes quite good, other times they miss the mark. If they have something ready, sitting there waiting, that's what you get instead of fresh. Fresh is great, and takes time. You get that sometimes.

Just a normal fast food restaurant. The drive through window had a short line and they brought our food out pretty quickly. I noticed that the drive up is open 24 hours a day and eat it is also open 24 hours a day Th-Sat and 3 am all other days. The strawberry milkshake was good and the homestyle chicken sandwhich was ok, nothing special. Fries were extra crispy the way I like it so those were the best!

Most of the time, its quick and friendly service here, and by far my favorite Jack in the Box in the area. It does still tend to have the occasional fast-food slip-ups though, albeit rare.

typical jack fare, in downtown walnut creek. parking lot is a bit tight for a larger vehicle but once you get in, you can get out without a lot of difficulty. The new self-service soda machines, found in most Jacks, are pretty rocking IMHO.

I can say anything about the food and what not. It's a chain.. convenience and prices is there. Sometimes there is a decently longer line/wait depending on how busy or new trainee is doing. This time I went, the person at the window handing the food out said to me, "2 more bags" and I'm looking at my stuff and I got everything. I wave the other guy inside and he opens the window and asks, " you got everything right?" I said yes. It was obvious that the trainee got confused.

Staff was friendly, but seemed a little overwhelmed. Food was fresh and good. Wait was one that should be expected with made to order food but it seemed to go by relatively quickly. A decent overall visit.

Went in to get breakfast platter, I wanted both bacon n sausage, n extra hash browns, didn't check left, got to work, I only have sausage and 3 hash browns. French toast was soggy.

I love their diverse menu items and the price is usually a great deal. Everything is good and there is something for everyone. They are also very fast, friendly, and efficient. They have never messed up my order or families order. They have the best curly fries and their shakes are delicious. I have never ordered something I didn't like, nor have I ever waited too long for my food.

One of the line cook and the stocking / cleaning guy are VERY VERY RUDE. OF SHE MAKES YOUR MEAN WRONG SHE WILK ACTAULLY DEBATE and try to tell her shift lead that it is not fer fault but that it is the customers instead.

It's a pending and variable consistency. But this time the two tacos were just right and the chocolate shake did the trick.

Good tasty food... but ive been coming here for a month now, and for opening time being 5 am, they havnt opened before 5:20 am a single time. Might as well change opening time to 5:30 or maybe 4:30 so that these ladies get the place open on time!

My breakfast burrito was not fresh, wrapper was hot and when I opened it the tortilla was greasy and slimmy. I did not eat it and put it in the garbage when I got home. The hashbrown was good and so was the milkshake

I got there about midnight and it was closed. All lights were still on, but there were chairs in the driveway entrance. At least turn your lights off so people don't make the mistake of attempting the driveview.

This place is good for quick bites. And the food is good as well. But on several occasions they got my order incorrect and that’s why I rated 3 stars. I ordered during rush hours so okay with it but this could be improved in future.

I ordered a jack munchiesmeal , that was supposed to come with a key chain. I'm pretty sure they don't have any more at this location. I try calling the store and nobody picked up.

The burgers were overcooked and the drinks were watered down. Chicken nuggets are overcooked. I feel like the burgers were missing condiments. Hey the curly fries were on point so two stars.

This location was an absolute disaster. There was not a single clean table, with most tables covered in garbage. The floors were dirty, and the staff did not seem to care one bit. Decided to go to a different location because the restaurant was so filthy.

The Jumbo Jack looked like it was sat on before it was put in box. The frys were cold and mushy and The coke was watery pack with ice and tasted like lime.

Been to this location twice and they screwed up my order both times. The customer service was good and the food they got right was good but probably won’t be back

Several employees behind the counter doing nothing but only 1 would take orders and she was busy filling an order at the window. When I asked if someone could take my order, she ran over and told me, "I will be with you in just a moment". She was not very nice about it. I ordered 2 fish sandwiches and they were both cold.

The drive through window is always a mess, seems like they don't know what they are doing. Very slow & in friendly, so least favorite place to get food around.

It's a Jack in the Box. The only reason anyone goes here is because it's opened 24/7. The dining room is always open but the staff does not consistently keep it cleaned. All I ever ask from a fast food restaurant dining room is wiped down tables and trash cans no more then halfway full. This place epically fails when it comes to their trash cans between midnight an 5am. Every time I come in, the trash can at the soda fountain is over flowing.

Good service at the counter, props to the staff for being really nice.. But the food is atrocious. Super greasy fries, gross burger patty and stale bread with too much butter on it. Also saw a cockroach crawl out from under the kitchen access door by the trash bins. Came here because everything else in the area was closed and needed some food.

I have stopped here in Walnut Creek, CA (Not my go to Jack in Box) 3 Times and all 3 times I was very disappointed in the prep of foods & svc seemed very slow! I'll drive to my regular Jack in the Box on Clayton Rd, Concord. I have always been very satisfied with their presentations & Cust Svc exceptional.

I did not receive an item that I ordered. So when I went back and advise them that I did not receive that order. The work gave an slight attitude and told me it was in there. I advise her that I went all the way home unpacked everything and it was not in there. She continued with the attitude and started talking to her coworkers. It just seem like I did something wrong when I was completely nice. I work in EMS on the ambulance I know how rude people can get so I would never treat people with attitude or disrespect. I just wanted what I payed for, no attitude need.

This location says it's open until 2am. They shut off the lights tonight at 1:46am. If you are open until 2am you should be open, and serving food until that time. I get "they need to close up" but I'm sure they're scheduled adequate time after 2am to close. So annoying for those who work nights and hardly nothing else is open.

I got a Take out, order curly fries and burger, Burger was okay but the curly fries 🍟, there is less curly and all other broken fries.

I literally pulled up to go through the drive thru and the entrance was blocked by a trash can and a cone. This is not the first time I've experienced something like this at this location. I'm not going to be coming back to this location even though it's 5 minutes away from my house.

If youre going to label yourself 24 hours, you need to be ready to take and fulfill food orders anytime of the day. Not happy at all. Just lazy.

I just got a milk shank and some jalapeno peppers. First the taller lady in the window didn't give me a straw so I had to circle back to get one. I tryed to drink the the milkshake and it was way too thick. Its really like drinking straight icecream. The shorter bigger lady said that's how it come out of the machine. I thout you where supposed to be able to drink a milkshake. It looks like there was oreos put in the middle which is weird. so I try to spin it around but, it didn't make anything any better. What I suspect is that there is a machine to whip up the milkshake with the oreos in it and they didn't want to use it or something. It looks like it's only been whipped in the dead center of it. I will not be getting a milkshake here ever again.

Very rude customer service. I have a missing order and they did not handle it well. I went to the drive thru to place another order but they ignored me and they told me to go buy somewhere else.

The employees gave me the wrong order when I went back to resolve the issue they were very rude took the incorrect order they gave me and then gave me a bag with only half of my correct order in it worst service I’ve ever experienced.

I visit this place frequently with my friends, but unfortunately this day we were served by a person who was rude to us. And she served us very badly.

I was about to go through the drive-thru, until I saw a homeless bum asleep inside the CLOSED restaurant with a shopping cart of his nasty belongings next to him. Looks like the degenerate management doesn't care much about rules. Now, they've lost my business for good.

Just got done at in the drive though. We ordered the new shake the peppermint white chocolate, and the peppermint iced coffee, plus a jacks muchie box, and egg rolls. The food was cold. The fries weren't cooked all the way. The tacos were soggy. The guy at the window didn't even say anything to us for like 5 mins. Took the money. Handed us our stuff as we said have a good night. We got nothing in return. Half way home we realized we didnt get our soda. This has to be the worst jack in the box ever!!

I'm really tired of dealing with people who are nasty and mean. Jack in the Box really needs to train their employees and make sure that they know that the customer is always right. Never ever am I going back to this Jack in the Box again. I left without getting my food because she was so nasty, I thought she was going to spit in my food.

The lady took order was good. But food was horrible, extremely sloppy. Cold fries . What makes it worse is that I actually walked inside and ordered.

I was staying at the hotel across the street and wanted a late night meal, but because I didn’t have a car they refused to serve me. Not everyone has a car, and it is quite rude to write off an entire segment of the customer base because of that.

If I could give negative stars I would. There were at 5 or 6 cars in the drive thru when the restaurant abruptly, and no warning, shut down before their closing time and failing to serve the customers who were in line. This is unacceptable customer service. I hope Jack In The Box reprimands, or better yet, fires whoever dumb idea that was on. I doubt I'll be eating there anytime soon.

Have to pay for more then 1 sauce! And the soda machine is QR code based ?! This is jack in the box an enormous corporation! They can afford to give me 2 sauces instead of 1 for a party of 2. If you don’t own a smart phone or a car your out of luck if you want a drink here. You literally can’t use the drink dispenser if you don’t own a device that can scan a QR code to run the machine. Couldn’t even finish the #11 chicken sandwich. It was like eating knots of fat. And styrofoam. No flavor. Never come here

Very very Poor service, the front soda machine was down so I asked behind the counter employee to get me coke with ice, he put coke but no ice. Bathroom was filthy. Will not be back. Being in Walnut Creek they should be clean. Should be negative 10 star. And when I said ice and Coke they started laughing like I was telling them a joke. This happened around 9pm Friday night March 13.

Horrible service I actually had to guide people on what my order was and it took them 15 min, I'm serious 15 minutes to finally get my order. Never going back there again. I’ve came here several times to get my family food. The last few times have been HORRIBLE and to be honest last night was the worst. Customer service is absolutely disaster starting with the drive threw. The staff member taking my order was rude and rushing. The food was Disgusting. The fries were old and hard. The burgers were dry and not cooked fully. And my salad. No words can describe what was given to me. The Lettuce was old molded and frozen, The cucumbers look like they are about three weeks old you couldn’t even eat them you would get sick the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way in the cheese smell funny. I don’t know how an employee could add the crispy chicken onto the salad and still sell it to me. I am reporting this to Corporate and also the health department.

The absolute worst food, smash burgers we're not edible, nothing but Salt! called immediately and number was disconnected, looked up Google for correct phone, Mailbox full? Very disappointed what a waste of money! Will be calling corporate.

I usually go to the Lafayette location but decided to give this location a try tonight and will not be returning. I walked in and was asked to use the kiosk to order whenever I was ready. I start entering my order and for some reason there was no option to edit the item toppings. I ask the guy who was on drive thru that I would like to do no pickles on one item. He looks at the screen from his side and confidently says "it is no pickles!". I look at the screen again and it just lists all the toppings including pickles. I try to show him and he comes around and sees pickles and is unable to remove the topping either. He says he will just let the team know. I get the food and I thought the order was for someone else because at first glance the ultimate cheeseburger looked too small and I thought it was the junior jumbo jack. I nicely let him know that usually it's double and bigger and he says "it is double!". Doesn't bother to check the burger and later goes back to laugh and giggle with another team member. When I ate the food it was in fact double. However, either the patties were burnt or it was the junior patties. The food isn't the problem, it's just the rudeness in both situations. Too confrontational. There are better ways to handle this. Just bad business. This was today 10/30/2025.

Refused to correct the order and was completely rude towards a customer that paid $35 for food I didn’t get to eat. The worst establishment I have dealt with. While waiting for my order, I watched the crew stack boxes of frozen food directly on the bare, dirty floor, all while continuing to serve customers like nothing was wrong. When I brought it up, the staff didn’t apologize or show any concern. Instead, they got extremely hostile and defensive. Zero professionalism, zero regard for basic food safety. I’ll never eat here again, and I strongly recommend others think twice before doing so.

Ordered on the app to get large fries from my rewards. Ordered sauce 5x 2 flavors. When I informed them that they forgot the sauce the person working there said that my order was $0 and if I wanted to add more or would be 25 cents a pack. A bit longer story as to why I got so much, but the point is they tried to charge me for something the app did not. Apparently spending enough to get rewards doesn't mean you spent enough to get good customer service at this location.

It’s 5:48am as I write this. They supposedly open at 5am. Every sign says it’s open at 5am. For the 100th time now, I’ve come to get breakfast on my way to work expecting them to be open at 5am and I’m stuck waiting 30+ minutes for them to open because they’re the only breakfast place open at this time in the area. Today I finally asked the drive through worker what time they open because the sign says 5 but they didn’t open until 5:43 and I have been waiting since before 5:30. She then got an attitude with me (without answering my question.) Then when I took a picture of the 5am start time that is advertised she says “we actually open at 5:30.” So I said, the sign says 5am and so does your yelp page and your Google account. Not to mention, I’ve been here since just before 5:30 and you still didn’t open until 5:43. She closed the drive through window on me, opened it, gave me my food, and then slammed the drive through window closed again. If there was ANY other place open at this time I’d would’ve stopped coming here years ago!

I went to Jack in the Box at around 10:45 and majority of the food was very old and cold. The tacos were very stale and cold on the inside. I ordered a breakfast platter combo and one of the hash browns I got was as hard as a rock! It wasn’t even edible and when I broke it in half, the inside was cold and flat. I also ordered a 7 piece of stuffed jalapeños that had probably been sitting there for a while. They were soggy and the cheese was cold.
