Oishi Sushi and Grill

Deliciously fresh sushi. And we ordered take out! We have tried many places in the area, trying to find a place to become our regular. Oishi was a nice addition to our list, making top 2!

Some of the best sushi I've ever had. Highly recommend the Hot Night sushi roll and the SF 49er roll. Also, get the all-you-can-eat. It's worth it. Nice & friendly people. Cute little place that I'm looking forward to going to again soon!! :)

I ordered food to go... very tasty, and good portions! The waiters very helpful and efficient, my fist time ordering, but for sure not the last, also in my onion very accessible prices...i think i will become my favorite Japanese food ..

Ermigerddddddddd my sweetie treated me to lunch here I work @ Petfood express and I HAD TO COME back to fully enjoy and I swear I know I’m supposed to chew and all but I inhaled it and I had to slow my roll. ( bwahah sushi roll puns hahah ) almost forgot to take a photo of this magic !! anyways this place is an absolute gem and a treasure and I would know I’m gonna be coming back for more. The place was empty when I came in and Bam full house. And well deserved pleasant staff super kind quick to get my food price is right need I say more highly highly recommend !!!!!!!! ✨ 10/10

Fabulous sushi & sashimi! Everything was fresh and full of flavor.

We had dinner with my family . We ordered a couple of bento boxes and some sushi rolls. Everything was really good the food, the service, and the interior atmosphere were all excellent. We truly loved it and will definitely be back.

Ayce good quality fish and sake was included in price! A little small and could use better music/sound system. Single bathroom did not close, you had to basically barricade the door with a small table 😂

The food was good, the service was a bit slow. We were one of two groups there, but they had one chef and lots of to go orders. Buffet is worth it if you're hungry.

Waitress was awesome. Very polite even had recommendations when we asked. The rolls were delicious and fresh! The Hot julio and Kamikaze were my favorite. Would definitely come back.

My family likes to come here for sushi whenever we wre in town. They really like it. Staff was super friendly. I'm not a sushi eater so I had the chicken katsu, which was very underwhelming. Sushi only is 5 stars, but had to knock off a star for my meal.

Not a great experience with "AYCE". The all you can eat is limited in sashimi as I already know from the menu online. However the rolls is also limited in 4 types split in 2 orders. I could not try some rolls. The fried were heavy.

Food was good. They word the menu in a tricky way. Make sure you read everything so you can get bang for your buck. The deluxe bento boxes are a great deal.

The sushi we had was fairly nice, but the rest was all mid. We ordered a bento box and the flavors were mediocre at best. The tempura seemed like it was taken out too early and the pork was over cooked. The coating on the pork was also lacking seasoning.

Staff was nice. Good fast service and clean restaurant. The food, tempura lacked flavor but the batter was nice and crispy. The gyoza also lacked flavor and were somewhat soggy. They honestly do not taste fresh and did not continue to consume. The rice was really interesting. It had a flavor of fabric softener? I am not sure how this is possible. I did not feel confident to try the rest of the food. Unfortunately I won’t be going back. I will say this was just my experience, but a little upset about the price which came out to $22 for lunch and I wasn’t able to enjoy most of the food.

The shusi is alright. I ordered the Paradise roll and overall it was pretty good but the tempura shrimp tasted day old. Do not order the mochi. It was disgusting and I was better off walking to Trader Joe’s and getting a whole box of mochi for the same price. The staff was extremely friendly however and is the only reason I’m not giving 2 stars.

I eat sushi almost weekly, at a variety of restaurants. This establishment produce sushi that lacked flavor, with the tempura batter two to three times too thick. I don't mean to be unduly harsh, but I do not think it deserves the current rating

The sushi was great, but the teriyaki chicken bento was DRY, the fried potsticker tasted like old oil and it just wasn’t the best thing I’ve had. I probably wouldn’t come here for anything but the sushi

Well I’m usually a big fan of this place besides today. They close at 930 today but I walked in at 820 and the manager told me they close in 10 minuets which is an hour before they’re supposed to close. I didn’t want to argue so I just walked out. And they have a big sign in front of the door open 11-930pm. If your website and signs say close at 930 and you close your doors at 830, that’s not good for business. Oh and there is meter parking right in front and the manager was looking straight at me when I put money in the meter for one hour.

I started eating sushi in 2008, and can confidently state that Oishi is the worst sushi dining experience I've had thus far (that is, if you call their food sushi). The rolls are indescribably bad, all consisting of cheap rice covering some crab and doused in awful sauce. As bad as the rolls are, the customer service is even worse - 0/10. Dreadful. If you have friends that recommend this place, de-friend them.

12 year old daughter and I arrived at 9:02pm Friday. A young woman greeted/seated us and said 🙂"How are you tonight? We're going to be closing soon so..." Door closing time posted showed 10:00pm.🤨 Now! Out of courtesy, I would not walk through any door to sit and dine if we arrived 30 minutes before closing at any restaurant. If you run any business, etiquettely speaking, should take the customer(s) up to the closing (the doors) time you post. My thoughts are, they're CLOSED so...

I got really bad ecoli poisoning here after having dinner here last week. I fasted the entire day and this was the only meal in my stomach before all hell broke loose the following morning. Please be very weary of eating here.

The place was empty and I should have taken it as a bad sign. Tempura was not at all meaty and tasted different. I've been to Kyoto, Tokyo, Fiji, so I know authentic Japanese fare. This is not! And the oil tasted different too and affected the flavor.

The food is great however the restaurant, the way it's being ran, not good I am Mexican Puerto Rican and black and my man is black, we pay good money to spend here but the employees are racist and treat me and my boyfriend differently every time we come to eat. The women named gupi harassed my boyfriend by starting at us the whole time we were eating out meal and refused to get the checked after we asked once we had to aske 4 times for the check. That same day we noticed they added fish eggs on out baked Alaska without warning that there was a slight change in the buffet menu but instead ruined our food the last time we showed up. Not only that the staff is racist towards black people, the way we were treated was unexceptionable.

Horrible. We just got our doordash order. We were so excited to eat sushi and then we had to throw it away. Not edible!!! Avocado was completely brown. Lion king roll tasted like a chemical, dish detergent or rubbing alcohol. Tuna didn’t have red color but was a weird pale pink. It didn’t look safe to ingest. Shame on you!

Should have taken it as a sign.... Parking there is paid from 7am to 11pm SEVEN DAYS A WEEK! Absurd! We arrive at 9 and they close at 10, but you would think they were already closed. They were putting chairs on top of tables & taking all condiments of the tables. Our server was in some kind of mood, not at all friendly. She seemed bothered we had shown up. Food was mediocre at best and service was terrible. Not returning here.

One star is to much for this place. We only did one order and was very displeased with it that we left. The soup tasted like warm water and salt. The fake crab meat seemed like it was sitting put for all day for the last month. The rice was soggy. Yes please don't bother wasting your money here safe yourself the doctor

We actually quit eating after a bite of each roll. The tempura tasted like it was microwaved after being frozen and was both wet & falling apart, and the salmon tasted off. While not all sushi restaurants are made the same this is a hole in the wall you should avoid. Server was friendly but did not speak great English.

And watched them the entire time and they tried sitting me somewhere to wait but I insisted as I would be sitting for a few hours… yall they made my baked roll in a little toaster oven… um there was an order before mine that both the waiter and the sushi man touched to verify the meat was indeed cooked through… I wish I had access to the back of the curtains. Because what I watched in the chefs little area was enough to startle me. Please watch your self if eating here. If you get sick it was the sushi place.

Because what I watched in the chefs little area was enough to startle me. Please watch your self if eating here. If you get sick it was the sushi place.
