On occasions there is valet parking, the area is beautiful honestly. They host events here such as weddings and there is parking all around as well. The food here is honestly great, my favorite will forever be the Amish chicken or the steak paired with the chimichurri sauce. They have a great selection of wines to choose from. The service here is great as well, I believe the tip is included then again I usually go here with parties of 5 or more so it may just be automatically included. The price for the food definitely reflects what you are being served. Whenever I’ve called for events they have been very accommodating. They have a private area as well for your party and the outdoor area with the fireplace is great in the summer. I can’t wait to come here again soon! Thank you
Celebrated a birthday and so happy I did. The grounds are beautiful and welcomed with valet. Decided to take indoor seating however the outdoor is a great choice with a few fireplaces to set the mood. Our menu had printed “happy birthday” to welcome us. Such a great touch. Our waiter was warm and knowledgeable about the menu. He also gave great suggestions. Appetizers: dozen oysters (clean and pristine) with beet salad (loved the candied walnuts). Dinner: Porterhouse for 2 with mash potatoes. Everything was prepared deliciously. Waiter noticed I left a few pieces of steak and asked if I had a pet to wrap everything up. So attentive! Definitely returning to try other plates on the menu. The night was finished with a “happy birthday” dessert which was truly appreciated. The last touch, I was given chocolates on the house. How adorable! Evening was perfect and would recommend Stone House.
By far my favorite restaurant of all time I absolutely love coming here and I always will last time I’ve been here was a while ago, but I could say I still love this place and I love their food. The servers are very nice and the hostess are very helpful. This restaurant has a very beautiful, setting indoor and outdoor whichever you prefer to sit. They also have heat for outdoor seating in the winter. Their food is beyond tasteful and amazing and I will never get tired of it. This place is far from me, considering I live like 50 minutes away, but I could say it’s well worth it.
Amazing food. Especially if you are gluten free. I got the calamari and scallops. I’m from RI and love seafood, and this was some of the best that I’ve ever had! Amazing drinks. I got the Boozy Bee and it was delicious and smooth. Amazing atmosphere. Great place for a date night. Can’t wait to go back in the summer and see the grounds.
Dining at Stonehouse was easily one of the best experiences I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, the elegant decor and serene atmosphere set the perfect backdrop for our evening. The interior design strikes a wonderful balance between sophistication and comfort, creating a welcoming space that encourages conversation and relaxation. The live piano player added a delightful touch, enhancing the ambiance with soft melodies that created a cocktail lounge feel throughout our meal. Our server, Courtney, was truly exceptional and made our dining experience even more memorable. Full of energy and charisma, she attended to our needs with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. Someone in our party even remarked, "She's the best server we've ever had, " which was beyond true. Courtney's recommendations were spot on, and her attention to detail ensured that our experience was seamless from start to finish. We began our meal with perfectly cooked and flavorful calamari, which was tender and seasoned just right. It was a fantastic way to kick off our dining experience. We also decided to share a Caesar salad as our first course, which was fresh and crisp, featuring generous portions of romaine lettuce and a delicious dressing that perfectly complemented the dish. For our main courses, we were all thrilled with our choices. The duck breast was presented beautifully, with a rich sauce that elevated the dish to new heights. I opted for the salmon, which sat atop a bed of fingerling potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The salmon was cooked to perfection, flaky and flavorful, making every bite a delight. The cocktails were high quality, and I want to try more on my next visit. The Boozy Bee was such a nice drink—refreshing and perfectly balanced. To round off our meal, we indulged in the desserts, which were nothing short of amazing. Each dessert was beautifully crafted and offered a sweet ending to a perfect night. As a special touch, Joshua Weissbard, the general manager, stopped by our table to check in and presented us with a small keepsake to commemorate the evening. This thoughtful gesture truly exemplified the outstanding service we received throughout our dining experience. We cannot wait to return to Stonehouse and request Courtney again. Thank you for an unforgettable evening.
I can’t express how amazing Stone House is as a wedding venue. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful and magical Stone House is as a venue, how attentive and professional all the staff are (big shoutout to Michelle for working with us so closely to make the day so special for us, for Sarah who stayed right by our side answering all our questions and going out of her way to even be with us on our wedding day-making us feel so special, to Mercedes who made everything run on point the day-of, end to end, and Rebecca for being such an attentive bridal attendant and making it so much easier to move around in a big dress!) Everything was so perfect and that’s all due to the Stone House staff. L They were so on top of everything -I (a serial worrywart) didn’t worry about a single thing that day. Thanks so much Stone House!
Service is unmatched every time and I’ve never had a bad dish here. Celebrated our anniversary there tonight and they went above and beyond with gifting us drinks and providing a celebratory menu!! If you’re thinking about stopping in for food, a celebration, or unique cocktails I definitely recommend!
An elegant place with Delicious cuisine in a classy and very romantic atmosphere. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Please make the reservations before visiting. Lots of parking available. The service is really amazing and detail oriented. Food: they start with fresh warm bread. I loved the raisin bread and butter. Sushi and cauliflower appetizers were really tasty. Will definitely return again.
I have dined at the Stone House many times, and just had my 70th Birthday Celebration Brunch in the Townhouse, Level 3. It is an absolutely exquisite space. This is THE space for a small gathering (I had 24 people; it can host a maximum of 40 for a sit-down meal). Everything - the staff, the manager (thank you Sam!), everything, was truly done top notch (and I have 25+ years experience planning events, BTW). I looked at a lot of other well-known venues before deciding on this one, and I can tell you that you would be hard-pressed to find a more unique and beautiful venue for a small celebration (or a large one, for that matter - they have multiple spaces to accommodate different size events). Wish I had more photos to share but haven't gone through them all yet! HIGHLY RECOMMEND - perfect planning, perfect service, perfect food - an absolutely amazing party!
This place is such a beautiful treat. The food, ambience and the staff are really good. This is a fine dining place and lots of people come here to celebrate special events. Reservation is recommended. We had the vegetable sushi, shrimp sushi and the cauliflower crispy for appetizer and they were really good. They also serve fresh raisin and sour bread which is really soft and fresh along with the Butter. The drinks were really good too. For entree we had the cauliflower roast, branzino, the Amish chicken and the veg pasta and each of them were so flavorful and tasted so good. You could actually say the food was cooked perfectly. We also had an cake for celebration which the chef served us and they served it so beautifully. This place is definitely worth visiting.
The Stone House was the perfect venue for our wedding, but more importantly, the team at the Stone House made our wedding perfect. Michelle Ross was our event coordinator and she was instrumental in removing so much stress from the wedding planning process. She was always incredibly responsive to all of our questions and whenever we had any concerns, she did an amazing job of helping us find a workaround in line with the vision we had for our wedding. She paid careful attention to the details which always put me at ease that there wasn’t anything we were forgetting during the wedding planning process. On top of that, I truly felt like I could trust our wedding in her hands based on the amount of care she put into all of our conversations. She really went above and beyond to make sure the wedding felt personal, yet always professional. I don’t think I can fully express in words how lucky I feel to have had Michelle in my corner throughout this process, but I can say confidently that she is the best and any event she touches will be incredible. Michelle alone would really have made the Stone House a gem, but the rest of the Stone House staff was so incredible, too. Frank Encarnacion was such a great maitre de and he has this sort of effortless way of making you feel at ease when you’re seconds away from walking down the aisle and getting butterflies in your stomach. The man did an incredible job of juggling it all from making sure our drinks were always full, keeping the show running on schedule, dealing with all the little hiccups that I’m sure popped up behind the scenes, and bustling my dress even when I needed the help. I’ll never forget the calming energy he brought on what could have otherwise been a very stressful day. And I would be doing such a disservice if I didn’t mention the food. It was unbelievably good and I think the real testament to that is that our guests were all raving about the food they ate, but everyone was raving about a different dish being their favorite. This also included all of our guests who have allergies, including our friend who has a severe gluten allergy and often isn’t able to eat at events like these. Once again, it just goes to show that at the Stone House, they pay attention to every detail so every guest can get a taste of how good they are. Tl;Dr - I can’t imagine my wedding being anywhere else besides the Stone House. Everything down to the detail was perfect and I can credit so much of that to the fantastic team working behind the scenes to make it all go down seamlessly. They all know what they’re doing and are passionate about getting it right, the best kind of people to have your back on the best day of your life.
Went here with my family for my birthday dinner this year. We had the best waitress and although they were swamped with weddings too and the food taking a whole, it was absolutely delicious and such a fun atmosphere. A jazz trio was playing and we loved still being able to sit outside with the heaters on. The decor is absolutely adorable out there! Highly recommend.
I had the pleasure of dining here earlier this summer and I was very impressed with my experience. The food and drinks were delicious and the dessert was probably the best part of the meal. The overall ambiance was lively and pleasant. The actual restaurant had beautiful architecture and decor. I will certainly be returning in the future.
Wonderful food and service. Beautiful venue with a very welcoming atmosphere. Had the oysters and burritos as appetizers, and perfectly cooked scallops and the carbonara as main dishes. The bread pudding and flan desserts were amazing! Will definitely be back!
I gave this restaurant five stars! The food was all cooked to perfection. Even my children’s french fries were delicious. The atmosphere was beautiful. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place for dinner or any special occasion.
Eating outside when the weather is just right is so cozy. The outdoor seating is great, though I have to say the chairs are very uncomfortable. This particular night that I went with my husband was very busy and it took us a long time to get our food. Ultimately, this didn't ruin the experience as the food was delicious, the live music was nice (a bit loud but nice), and the ambience was just perfect.
This place is a hidden gem that I didn't know existed until I attended my dearest friends and family wedding to celebrate their lovely union. I've attended many weddings over my many years on this earth and this establishment by far has been the best and exceeded my expectations for which practicly impossible . The location, decor, staff, food and service in my humble opinion is excellent. I enjoyed the entire experience from beginning to end and how well the place is ran had everything to do with it. Kudos to everyone involved and keep up the great work. Much appreciated by a 1st time guest of your establishment. Highly recommend you consider this place for your next high quality event.
Stone House is so beautiful inside & out! The outdoor section is a total oasis, and the perfect place to wine & dine in the summer. We sat inside and the atmosphere was superb. Service and food were top notch, and we cannot wait to return! 10/10!
The staff was wonderful! They made my wedding reception a beautiful experience. The venue was gorgeous, and they were very accommodating. I definitely recommend booking your reception or event
My husband and I decided to come here for our 5th wedding anniversary. The food was incredible, the staff was so kind and attentive and every single person we spoke to wished us a happy anniversary. The customized menus with our names was such a sweet touch. I loved everything about our experience and we’re already talking about how we can’t wait to go back.
Such a wonderful place for brunch with family and friends. The food was really delicious and their pastries are amazing. The place it’s self is beautiful, the ambiance and the gardens are beautiful. Definitely going back for dinner next time hoping to try their famous stone oven pizza.
Another wonderful night at the Stone House! Girls night out, for a special lady and her birthday. We had hoped to sit outside but the weather did not cooperate, so then we were seated at a lovely table, with a view of the outdoor dining experience. Our server, Andrea was really informative, helpful and very sweet, yet professional. The food!!! Fantastic!! Chef David Drake is an amazing person, bringing dishes to life with color, combination and taste. Loved every minute, loved every bite.
Truly amazed by the attention to detail, super friendly staff, and amazing food!! Team was extremely attentive, making sure we had a great experience. We celebrated our anniversary and super glad we did with Stone House. Looking forward to visiting again in the spring and summer to check out the outdoor space.
Relatively close to NYC and JC is this amazing place; immediately change the atmosphere to connect in a quiet and familiar restaurant. It is a perfect space to have brunch and enjoy the weekend; the service is very good, the staff attentive and friendly. The design of the place is cozy, with the added bonus of the Christmas decorations. Without a doubt the food is the best, you can feel the quality of the ingredients and the good execution when cooking them, simply delicious. This is a place that will become a classic spot to spend time and have a bite with the family, I highly recommend it.
The staff and events managers were super helpful and accommodating. Our team was able to set up in a timely manner and they stayed with us at the end of the evening until we cleared out our decorations. The venue is gorgeous and very modern. Guests had ample room to eat, dance and mingle throughout the evening.
I was there for brunch with my three friends, the service was amazing as was the food. We ordered the stuffed French toast, eggs Benedict and truffle fries, Khal was our bartender I wasn’t sure on what drink to get and he made me a drink based on my usual preferences. It was amazing, we really enjoyed ourselves looking forward to our next visit at the bar!
Where do I begin with our incredible wedding day at Stone House at Stirling Ridge in April 2023. Our stylist was Sarah and from our very first meeting, she was so amazing to work with and we immediately felt at ease. I felt like I had known Sarah my whole life! She was consistently communicative, friendly, supportive, professional, and helpful in planning our wedding. Sarah was communicative throughout the wedding planning process, and with her help we were able to plan our wedding in just 8 months. She kept us on track with planning and knew just what to say to ease my nerves the days leading up to the wedding. We decided to get married on the ballroom side, knowing it was April and with the chance of rain, the covered outdoor area for the ceremony was perfect. In true April fashion, it rained the entire wedding weekend. As it turns out, I was pleasantly surprised to see how serene and beautiful the outdoor ceremony space was in the rain. The colorful greenery surrounding it, full of love and support from our guests, felt like we were in a tranquil rainforest. We unfortunately did not get many pictures of us around the grounds, but it did not matter. The ballroom has beautiful lighting and is a larger space, with plenty of room for our 150 guests. The chandeliers are stunning and are the highlight of many of our reception photos. We loved the European vibe of the cocktail hour space, with lots of wood and darker colors. The food was beyond excellent. The guests were raving about all of the food, from the cocktail hour to dinner to dessert. The hospitality and customer service, including everyone from Sarah, to our maitre-d’ Frank, were so on top of being supportive and magically made the day go as smoothly as possible. Our guests were beyond impressed and in love with the venue (as were we since the day we toured the venue). Our wedding day was a dream, all thanks to Stone House!
Ate dinner at the Stone House recently and had such a great time. We sat outside under the heaters in late September and it was such an awesome atmosphere. Enjoyed our cocktails, the goat cheese croquette appetizer, short rib pasta and pork chop. For dessert we tried a decadent hazelnut cake with homemade ice cream!! Everything was delicious! Can’t wait to go back soon.
This place is BEAUTIFUL! My sister wanted to visit this restaurant for a while and we decided we would go for a birthday brunch. Great choice! Everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Always made sure to check in with us on how everything was. The croissants and muffins to start were the perfect bite. The lemonade and orange juice tasted freshly squeezed! Yum! My son is a picky eater and he devoured the classic pizza and one of my delicious pancakes! The steak and eggs was a popular choice at the table and everyone enjoyed every bite. The burger was a very generous sized portion and also enjoyed as well. The table received a birthday bread pudding with ice cream! Wow! Sooo good! The banana sauce, amazing! As we left we also received a delicious chocolate bark. I will be back again for lunch AND dinner for sure!
My wife and I dined here for a date night. We were greeted by friendly staff upon arrival and asked if we preferred indoor or outdoor seating. We sat outdoors where the views were amazingly relaxing. The service was good although the food was delayed due to what we were told was a change in kitchen shifts. We each got two cocktails which were very tasty. The appetizers and dinners were on par with what you would expect from a restaurant in this price range. The only thing possibly lacking was the portions could have been a little bigger. Also, was very grateful to the staff as they noticed my wife was getting cold and they quickly offered us a table to finish our meals indoors. Overall, I'd highly recommend stone house at stirling ridge for anyone wanting a high quality meal in a great location with good service.
Words can't even describe how special this venue felt on our wedding day! I had my eye on Stone House for a while, but once we visited and saw their Lodge space, it was an instant yes. The room has the perfect combination of a modern feel that still has a cozy charm to it. The fireplace as a focal point for our ceremony was BEAUTIFUL. Now for the team - what an amazing group of individuals. Nicole you were a ~blessing~ to work with!! Frank & Mercedes - you made our day feel so special. You made us feel like the most special people in the world! Thank you all for making our vision come to life. We loved every single second of our experience from the AMAZING FOOD (WOW!) to the romantic atmosphere to the service - 100000/10. Lastly - this team went above & beyond for us. When I got COVID the week of our menu tasting/Thanksgiving, the restaurant comped 2 full Thanksgiving day meals for myself and my husband....beyond thankful for that gesture! if you're thinking about working with Stone House - do it. The food, service, and atmosphere are worth it!
We had an amazing time last night! I took my friend and his twin brother(who could not make it) to the stone house tavern and I found out that they made a CUSTOMIZED MENU FOR THEM!!!! Loved it!!!! Also Joyce who was our server was AMAZING!!! Loved her!!! She helped with the red velvet cake slice for my friend!! Loved Joyce a lot and we will be requesting her next time!!! The food was phenomenal! They never fail to amaze me with their scrumptious and delicious food!!! I’ve been coming here for some time and might I add, the fire pit events are also something to die for!!!! 😁 For parking, They also have an optional valet but we chose to park ourselves and there is plenty of parking! I will definitely be back!!! And my friends are now wanting to make this their top tier place as well!!!!
We had our wedding on 10/17/2025 and it could not have been more perfect. From the moment we walked into the Lodge at Stone House on our tour in 2024, we knew this was the place for us. Michelle made us feel at home from the start. She guided us during our whole wedding process, and was extremely responsive, especially the last couple months leading up to the big day. We fully trusted Michelle and her team to make our day perfect. Day of, all team members were fantastic, including Mercedes and Rebecca. They were constantly with us, and helped with whatever we needed. Michelle did a rehearsal with our family day of so the ceremony ran smooth, and it did. Every space of the Lodge was perfect for what we needed. Every single guest raved about the food as well as the service. We absolutely love Stone House and would recommend this venue to ANYONE!!!! Thank you Michelle and your fantastic team for making our day the best day ever!
We worked with Michelle at the Stone House and really couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From our first visit to the Stone House to our last visit just a few days ago picking up a few items left behind, we always felt so welcomed and at home at the Stone House. We loved the somewhat rustic-ness of the outdoor area and cocktail hour area with the mixture of the glamorous side to the ballroom. All of the food and drinks were amazing from our cocktail hour stations to the custom drinks to our main courses and our ice cream dessert station! What we liked the most about the Stone House was the service – from Michelle to Frank, our Maitre D to the bridal attendant and beyond – all of the staff they provided such amazing service and we felt so cared for throughout the process. Working with Michelle felt like working with a friend and she really did so much to help us and ensure a fabulous day. We already miss the Stone House and look forward to stopping by again at their restaurant to help relive the day!
My husband and I cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding at Stone House! We got married in the Lodge, and worked with Sarah Gore who made sure our day ran smoothly and she made our vision become a reality! She was very prompt and responsive to our many questions throughout the process. She went the extra mile to make sure our day went off exactly how we dreamed it up. Our Maitre’D Frank was excellent; he navigated us and our family through the day without a hiccup. The cocktail hour was phenomenal; I recommend extending the cocktail hour as we did because our guests could not get enough of it. The sushi add-on was also a huge hit; our guests were double-fisting plates of sushi. Our guests loved the indoor/outdoor style cocktail area, especially with the weather being great on our wedding day. The passed lamb chops and the crab cakes are a must; they were so good! We went with the hot antipasto station, the carving station, and the seafood paella station. All were a hit, but the fan favorite was the hot antipasto station; everyone was boasting about the fried calamari. Typically at weddings, the one thing I get frustrated with is long lines at the bar. We had over 130 people at our wedding and there barely was a line at either bartender the entire night long! The bartenders absolutely killed it, especially with some of our guests ordering drinks for their entire table. Our reception went off without a hitch! We had asked Stone House if we could move our sweetheart table in front of the fireplace instead of in the middle of the dance floor, and they obliged and made our vision happen! Our guests loved the food, as everyone raved about the short rib and passed desserts. The lodge room may seem smaller than a typical venue room, but for a party of around 125 people, it's plenty of room. The outside lounge is also a great addition, as many guests ventured outside to make s'mores by the fireplace as nightfall came. The staff at our wedding was very courteous and attentive all night long. They were constantly bringing our guests refills, and made sure to bring everyone passed after dinner drinks and desserts. They even went outside to the fire pits and brought our guests drinks and desserts while they were smoking cigars and lounging. We cannot stress enough how beautiful and amazing our wedding was at the Lodge at Stone House!
My husband Rich and I just had our wedding at The Stone House at Stirling Ridge, and I can honestly say it was nothing short of perfect. From start to finish, Sarah and Michelle—the incredible wedding coordinators—made the entire planning process so smooth and stress-free. Their kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism truly stood out. One of the most touching moments was when they added a special signature drink in memory of my father, who passed away a year ago. That thoughtful gesture meant the world to me and made the day even more meaningful. Throughout the entire planning journey, Sarah and Michelle were always available, answering my calls and easing any worries I had with genuine care. On the wedding day, everything flowed seamlessly thanks to their expert coordination. We also want to give a huge thank you to Frank and Mercedes, our wonderful bridal attendants, who helped both Rich and me throughout the day. Their support and presence made everything feel even more special and effortless. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the delicious food, and the venue itself was stunning—elegant, warm, and beautiful in every detail. Even now, two months later, people are still messaging us to say how much they loved the celebration. If you want a venue that feels like home, staffed by a team who truly cares, The Stone House at Stirling Ridge is the place. We will cherish our memories here forever!
Came here for a birthday dinner and it was such a great time!! They made my friend very special by personalizing the menus wishing her a happy birthday! The food and drinks were phenomenal and there was free wifi to top it off. There is valet but you don't have to use it and do self park. Highly recommend this place!!
We have a fabulous time celebrating my birthday at the Stone House. The food was so good. We started off with the crab cakes, goats cheese, croquettes, shrimp oxtail and east and west coast oysters. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers I ate the west coast halibut with spring vegetables, all cooked to perfection. Desert was the chocolate marquise, very rich flavor. We all had a great time, atmosphere was wonderful, staff were very nice. The outdoor fireplace was lovely. Unfortunately it was a rainy day, so we did get to use the outdoor seating. I am going back when it is nice and sunny. The following day I went back for Father's Day brunch. They had a live musician. My partner ate the miso salmon. Oh my goodness, it was cooked to perfection. Totally delicious. I will be ordering this on my next visit. I preferred dinner to brunch but overall I would recommend eating here. I will be back. Thanks for the fabulous food!!
Celebrated a family birthday here and it was my first time there. Great all around. I had the specialty Bloody Mary. Followed with French Onion soup and Steak and Eggs - grilled flat iron, chimichurri, 2 eggs, potatoes, mixed greens. Wow. My wife had the Crab Benedict - poached eggs, grilled sourdough, asparagus, hollandaise, potatoes. Almost as good as my order. We ended with Crème Fraiche dessert. The ambiance is excellent and the service from our waiter Nick was excellent. Great venue.
We had an amazing bites and drinks at the bar. Martha was phenomenal !!! She recommended great dishes, and drinks. Everything was to die for,! Perfect taste! My mohito was so delicious not too sweet and not too sour just right!! One of the best mohitos I had. Goat cheese bites and french onion pizza totally recommanded. Stake tartare was very good as well and made European way like should be, chopped👍. We are foodies and we will come back. 🥰 Martha the bartender made our evening!
My wife and I had our wedding here a few weeks ago. We worked with Nicole throughout the entire process from touring the venue to the night of our event. Nicole was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was helpful, thorough and prompt in communication, and overall made the entire process easy and stress-free (rare when planning a wedding!). The venue itself was perfect (we were on the Grand Ballroom side). The ceremony area outside was great because it was fully covered and sheltered from the weather. Even though it was pouring right before our ceremony, all the chairs that were set up were totally dry. The venue was able to provide a contingency in case the rain continued (which luckily it didn’t). They were proactive in preparing this and notifying us rather than us having to ask them for a rain plan, which we appreciated. The cocktail hour and reception ballroom areas were beautiful on their own and did not require much additional decoration. One thing our guests specifically highlighted on multiple occasions was that they appreciated being able to go outside and enjoy the patio area while still being able to watch and enjoy the reception program through the floor-to-ceiling windows. This is great for guests who have kids because the music can still be heard outside but at a much more comfortable level for children. Amalia (bridal attendant) and Frank (maitre d’) were incredibly attentive and helpful on the day of the event. They made sure vendors got their questions answered, brought us food, checked in on us, and overall ensured that the event flowed well. Overall, we highly recommend Stone House and had a very positive experience. We got numerous compliments from our guests on the venue as well.
I absolutely loved my time there! The place is just amazing! The food feels like it's made with all the love of family cooking. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better! The drinks were fantastic, and the pizza looked like it was crafted by my mom's hands—so delicious! Mike is genuinely the nicest person I've ever met, and Courtney, our waitress, hit all the marks with her service. She was lovely to talk to, and it was a pleasure to be there. A huge thank you to everyone for making our visit so special! You guys rock!
We had our wedding at The Stone House Lodge, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless, beautiful, and filled with care. The venue itself is stunning as it is elegant yet warm, surrounded by nature, and so thoughtfully curated. Our coordinator, Michelle, was incredible. She was calm, organized, and so responsive throughout the planning process and on the big day itself. She made everything feel easy and stress-free, which let us be fully present and enjoy each moment. Our bridal attendant and maître d’, Mercedes, were also absolutely amazing. They were kind, attentive, and always one step ahead — from making sure we had food and drinks in hand to keeping the schedule on track and making sure we never had to worry about a thing. As an LGBTQ+ couple, we felt fully supported, celebrated, and welcomed by everyone we worked with. The entire team treated our love story with genuine warmth and joy, and that meant so much to us. Our guests are still raving about the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The Stone House gave us a wedding day that exceeded every expectation, and we’re endlessly grateful to Michelle, our bridal attendant, and Mercedes for helping make it so unforgettable.
Our wedding at Stone House was truly a dream, and so much of that is because of Michelle. From our very first meeting to the final moments of our reception, she was absolutely exceptional to work with. Michelle is one of those rare people who is both incredibly organized and genuinely caring — she made us feel supported, understood, and completely taken care of throughout the entire planning process. Every detail was handled with such professionalism and warmth. Michelle was quick to respond, always helpful, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything aligned with our vision. She made the entire experience stress-free, and on the wedding day, she ensured everything ran seamlessly. We were able to be fully present because we knew we were in such good hands. The venue itself is stunning — the food, the ambiance, the service — all absolutely top-tier. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the space was and how amazing the food tasted. But what truly set Stone House apart for us was Michelle. Her dedication, calm energy, and attention to detail made all the difference. If you’re considering Stone House for your wedding, do it — and if you get to work with Michelle, consider yourself incredibly lucky. She helped make our day unforgettable. We are beyond grateful!
Good food, great service, friendly staff. Outdoors area is very attractive. Will definitely be back in the summer, but if you visit in the fall bring a *big* sweater. We've had unseasonably warm weather this November. Perhaps the restaurant's climate system is in a transitional phase, or the heat was not turned on yet. It was *uncomfortably* cold inside -definitely less than 65F- hence the 4 stars for atmosphere. We were not the only ones to put our coats back on. A real shame. Everything else was great.
We had Saturday Brunch and our family enjoyed the venue, food, service and atmosphere. The cocktails were enjoyable but nothing special. My Bloody Mary was to include bacon and shrimp. The bacon was super dried while the shrimp still felt a bit frozen. Our entrees had a mixed ratings by our group. Yet we all agreed that it was average in taste and presentation. The grounds and buildings are the winner here. Nice open spaces within the buildings and plenty of outdoor greenery, plants, trees and shrubs. Valet parking was very good to have.
Ok y’all, the atmosphere here is 12/10 no question. Stunning manicured grounds and comfortable spacious seating. Laura took incredible care of us. Didn’t miss a beat, and we had a wonderful time start to finish. Laura was constantly present yet respectful of the space my two cackling sisters and me demanded. By the end of the meal, she was part of the coven. We like to do a lot of drinking and smaller plates so we can cover as much menu ground as possible. We started with the gazpacho - and it was unreal. They divided for us without asking! What a lovely touch. I have two regrettable notes I hesitate to even share bc the overall experience was so delightful: 1) the deviled eggs were so fishy I couldn’t choke down one. I hope my older sister doesn’t see this bc she vehemently disagreed and said it’s a main draw for her and her husband 2) there were gnats legit everywhere. All over me, our food- everything. Again, I hesitate to even mention this bc that means (hopefully) this place isn’t caked with bug spray and chemicals that we shouldn’t be putting into our bodies- but good Lawd was it annoying on a particularly swampy NJ day.. Not only will I be back here- I’ve been coming here for years and have never once had a second thought about coming back. Don’t think twice. It’s the only place in this area that offers a country setting and food with the volume turned up- like Ina would say.
Attended a Wedding in The Lodge. Beautiful atmosphere, great spacious outside area with dreamy fire tables. Cocktail hour was disappointing. The wall of antipasto and other bites were hidden on the top level, only 3 standing food stations, and not enough pass arounds. Great spot for romantic pictures all over the grounds and inside Stone House.
I am so puzzled by this place. The food is consistently good and the service is consistenly bad. The 3x we've tried, it's the same issue. We have to flag someone to please take our order, we don't get checked on after the food comes (I had to flag someone to get a steak knife), it's just very odd. After 3x, we won't be trying again, which is a shame as the food is good and the place is very pretty.
Took my mom to Stone House to celebrate her birthday, and the experience was honestly terrible from start to finish. The server didn’t even introduce himself, which set the tone for the rest of the night. Nothing felt welcoming or special. They didn’t even offer her a simple birthday dessert. My friend brought a small cake, and when we asked for plates, they told us it would be $5 per person unless we ordered at least three desserts. For a birthday celebration, that policy felt cold and completely unnecessary. The service only got worse. Our drinks were wrong, the staff seemed disorganized, and there was zero attention to detail. They also didn’t have the tomahawk or their ribeye special, both printed on the menu. Why advertise items you can’t stock, especially for a 5:30 PM reservation? To top it off, when we paid the bill, there was no “thank you,” no “how was your experience,” nothing. The server just went mute and walked away. Overall, it was a terrible, disappointing experience, especially for such an important occasion. For the price and reputation, I expected so much more. I won’t be returning.
