My husband and I had a date night at Del Frisco’s and it was delicious! The food was cooked phenomenally, the atmosphere was great, the drinks were delicious and we even came back (after our later evening event) for dessert - the butter cake is a must! We ordered the oysters, sea bass, lobster mac and cheese, porterhouse steak, broccolini, and asparagus. The asparagus could have used some more seasoning, but it was okay and cooked really well! We definitely plan to go back and try additional items on the menu!

Del Frisco's never disappoints. The food is always top tier and the service as well.

The dry aged ribeye was great! Perfectly cooked thick medium rare steak. Enhanced with garlic butter, this 16 oz steak was easy to put down. The sides were also super good. We loved the lobster mac and cheese. The truffle fries were crispy and garlicy. The restaurant is very nice and upscale with amazing service from the waiters.

I frequently visit this restaurant for birthday and anniversary dinner. The food is always delicious. Ambience is excellent. Parking is a bit challenging. Valet parking is provided for a fee or you can find and pay for parking on the street.

Today, we tried the oysters, scallops, calamari and margaritas. Everything was delicious! The desserts were fantastic and scrumptious, too. Highly recommended !

I went here to celebrate my birthday and I had the most amazing experience!! The waiter, Clement, was very attentive and everything he reccomended was on point! He recommended the pan seared scallops and grilled shrimp with truffle butter and let me tell you, I have never tasted such a succulent scallop! It was cooked to perfection and beyond tasty! I also enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich, chocolate martini, and of course the butter pound cake was the bomb! My sisters had the salmon and said it was delicious. I definitely plan to go back.

The cucumber martini was incredible along with the warm butter cake. The mosquitos by the bar, oh my. All in all, was a great experience and I’ll certainly return.

Had my anniversary dinner here with my wife and we chose the right place to celebrate. The service was amazing and the steaks were cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We came to Del Frisco for a special occasion, a milestone at work. and we had such a great food and an amazing experience, largely thanks to our waiter, Titus. He was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. He made us feel comfortable, checked in at just the right moments, and ensured everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. Service like his really elevates the entire dining experience. The ambiance was perfect and we couldn’t ask for a better waiter. Management should absolutely know how much of an asset he is. We’ll definitely be back—and hope to be seated in his section again.

Was a little busy when we went. Server was very friendly, I think her name was Catarina? Tried the strawberry martini and it was quite good. I think it was a special drink for February. Had a wedge salad - enjoyed that a lot! For entrees we had the chicken and the sea bass. Both were excellent! We didn't have dessert, but overall we enjoyed everything and we would go back again.

Our evening out for dinner was fantastic. The ambiance was perfect with a low hum of patrons without any unruly and unnecessary noise. The precisely aimed accent lights gave each table enough glow to admire the company and food. The waiters and support staff were quietly and effortlessly efficient. Our evening began with freshly baked butter bread, followed by an exquisite lobster bisque for me and a charred octopus with chorizo for my wife, both made to perfection. Our main course was a prime ribeye and prime strip, just as we ordered and delicious as were our broccolini and whipped potato sides. Our decadent desserts consisted of chocolate mousse cake and a tiramisu crème brûlée. We chased all this down with our favorite Albariño wine which was chilled with precision. We cannot say enough about our server Markus and his support Herberth, who ensured everything was to our satisfaction. All our questions regarding the menu were answered with confidence and without hesitation.

We went during restaurant week and decided to do the pre fixe menu with included an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $65. For our appetizers, I got the wagyu meatballs and my girlfriend got the tuna sashimi. My meatballs were very tender and flavorful. Her appetizer was presented very nicely and she said she really liked it. For drinks, we got diet cokes, which came by the bottle. Then we also got mocktails. I got the watermelon mint cooler and she got the spicy margarita. They were both very good. Mine was the right sweetness level and very refreshing. Then, for entrees, I got a 12oz filet, which was a $10 up charge. My girlfriend got the jumbo crab cakes. My steak was cooked to the temperature I requested and it was super tender and had an amazing flavor. It had a nice crust and the used good seasoning on it as well. My girlfriend really liked her crab cakes and I tried them and thought they were amazing. We also got creamed corn which was fantastic. This was not part of the pre fix menu. It had the perfect amount of cream, a good among but not overly soupy. It had an amazing flavor. It was a great size for the price. For dessert, we got the butter cake and strawberry cheesecake which were included with our pre fixe menu. Then we also got the orange creamsicle crème brûlée. All the desserts were very good. The butter take has a very crunchy exterior. The crème brûlée was thick and smooth. Other things worth noting: service was very good. Our server Dani was very friendly and professional. The ambiance of the building is very upscale and fancy. It was our anniversary and they had many of the employees hand write their signature on a card for us, which really showed the level of detail of this place. Overall, this was one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience. I strongly recommend this place if you’re anywhere in dc or near dc.

My husband & I were there with a large group. We didn't wait long, and everything was top-notch! Our server did a great job, and absolutely everything we ate was beyond amazing. I had the wagyu with lobster tail - pricey, but SO worth it. We shared several appetizers and sides. You really couldn't go wrong with anything. The atmosphere was an absolute mood... gorgeous, surprisingly calm, spacious. We never felt rushed or crowded. If it is in a price range that you can manage, GO.

I sat by the bar initially to wait for my huge party of people!😂 The bartender was really nice, he had me try the non-alcoholic “spicy margarita” and it was delicious! The food was super amazing! 💕💯That crab fried rice was mouthwatering!👍🏽👏🏽 There were 14 of us! It did take a while to get our food, but I’m sure if it was a smaller group, the process would have been seamless. The restaurant is located in “city center” and it’s surrounded by these upscale and gorgeous stores: Doir, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Chanel etc. After dining, we couldn’t help but walk around the area because it was very beautiful! Of course, it was late for shopping, but I’m sure you could do that before 6pm.😊 I would definitely recommend this restaurant and place as well!💯

Today, our server Josh was incredible. We arrived around 8 PM and sat at the bar, where he greeted us warmly and immediately engaged with us. Although we didn't order any alcoholic drinks, he went above and beyond to create a fantastic mocktail for my fiancé. He consistently checked in on us throughout our visit. As a cook myself, I often find it challenging to enjoy meals at restaurants, so exceptional hospitality is just as important as the food. Thank you, Josh! I wish you continued success and blessings on your journey. Keep shining, Young King!

The Surf & Turf Trio was amazing. The medallion filets noted on the menu are actually decent size cuts of filet!

Great service, good food. Non Alcoholic drinks crushed it. Mushrooms are great, the deal was really good..Fourth Special. There is a dress code, and I would be remiss if the butter cake did not receive a special shout out.

From our waitress Dainelle to the manager Juan the service was so great . From the asparagus to the calamari , chilean Sea bass , the King crab & the sweet potato casserole everything was awesome. We celebrated our 24 anniversary with this wonderful staff . Needless to say we will return

Highly recommend this restaurant for celebrating a special moment, like our anniversary or for a fine dining experience. From the meatballs to the steak, everything was wonderful. Our server/bartender Josh was exceptional. He was very attentive to detail and carefully followed allergy instructions, making our experience unforgettable. We will be back, thank you again!

First time visitor and this Landry’s Select Club affiliate did NOT disappoint! The biggest, most flavorful, jumbo shrimp in the shrimp cocktail EVER! The buttered, pull apart milk bread was warm, tender, and pillowy soft. My dining companions hit the prime strip and half chicken and had zero complaints. My Chilean sea bass was buttery and not fishy at all; the accompanying crab-fried rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sweet potato casserole was huge - enough to share with 2-3 people since it’s Rick and sweet like dessert. Speaking of dessert: the chocolate mousse cake was light and not too sweet, and paired wonderfully with the seasonal raspberry sorbet.

We recently enjoyed a fantastic Sunday dinner at this high-end restaurant, which was delightful! The food was outstanding; the oysters were fresh, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the scallops were sweet and salty, with a perfect hint of lemon butter. The seared sea bass with crab-fried rice was so delectable that it melted in our mouths. Our cocktails were well-made and delicious, and the attentive service made our dinner experience unforgettable. All in all, every aspect of the restaurant was top-notch.

I’ve found The Eagles Nest to consistently deliver that familiar, top-tier experience… Isiah stands out as a standout leader. Even as a repeat guest, his presence feels special but never overbearing. The staff respond with the same level of polish and attentiveness you’d expect from a flagship DC dining room.

Dined at Del Frisco December 2025. The food was amazing and the service was top tier. Our waiter, Ian, provided us with great food and wine recommendations. He was so personable - truly a gem. We will definitely be back!

Isiah was amazing, very accommodating, and responsive. Will come back here anytime just because of the hospitality from the Isiah the manager . My experience with the bartender Karl was TERRIBLE. let’s start at the fact that he seen us sit down and didn’t acknowledge us. We was sitting for at least 7 minutes before a different bartender approached and asked us what we wanted. When she left he acted like he didn’t hear us at all. He flashed a light on someone card like he was either taking a picture of it or insinuating that it didn’t belong to her; When she comes here on a regular. The patrons next to us asked us if it was just them or is Karl being rude. Me and my best friend said no he’s being rude to us for no reason. He literally cleared the whole bar down stairs just because of how he was acting. He got tipped by someone else and he stated to them “that’s it” he’s lucky he got anything because of his shitty attitude. He sucks and needs to be let go. When you work in customer service your suppose to be kind and tend to the customer needs. We ran into Isiah and he immediately helped out and was very apologetic about the experience we received.

Listen, I'm a steak snob, I will most definitely send a steak back. I believe I got a sirloin and had them cook It medium rare, which I have never in my life had a restaurant cook properly. I can tell you right now, being from Texas, being through over 20 states, eating at steakhouses along the way, including my own, I have never not once had a steak cooked as good as it was at Del Frisco's. When I tell you, there was an explosion of flavor in my mouth it's no joke, I'm half tempted to fly back to DC simply for a steak. Kudos to the chef for an absolutely amazing experience and a meal I still talk about a year later.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming. The food was outstanding, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. A special highlight was the personal touch from the Sous Chef RJ, who went out of his way to make sure our kids felt included and excited about their meals. Those small, thoughtful gestures made a big difference and turned a great dinner into a truly memorable family experience. We’ll absolutely be back.

I had such a great experience at Del Frisco’s thanks to Josh behind the bar. His professionalism, attention to detail, and personable charm made the evening remarkable. The cocktails were perfectly balanced and beautifully presented — you could tell real craftsmanship and care went into every drink. Josh’s friendly conversation and intuitive service added so much to the atmosphere, turning an already elegant bar into a lively, welcoming space. It’s rare to find someone who elevates both the drinks and the overall experience this much. I’ll definitely be coming back to see Josh again!

Was here for a Corporate Event & the food & wait staff were amazing. Want to make a shout out to Catrina & Isaiah that went above & beyond for me, I had lost a trinket at the event dinner (food again amazing cuts of steak & sides) & did not realize til after we left & the restaurant closed. Catrina & Isaiah were teh wait staff that helped us during the event dinner. (Cartina) She picked up the phone after I called hoping someone would be there & she was. Not ONLY did she located the trinket but got with her GM: Mac to set up a pick up time for me so I can get the trinket back that truly holds a lot of sentimental value. Again, the food was great but the people that work there are even better & truly not only want the dining experience to be awesome but too treat you like family & take care of you even after their service is done. I will keep coming to Del Friscos because the are exemplary in the people they hire & how they treat customers & make a fine dinning experience one of a kind.

So I have been coming here for nearly a decade— this location and staff have always been 5 stars for me. The food, service, and kind welcoming energy keeps me coming back. I encourage you to come through and try it! Specific shout outs from this last trip: Isaiah: you run a great crew very well! RJ: thank you for coming out to say hello and for making the amazing food that you bless us with! Carl: thanks so much for taking the time to make my night a great one— I appreciate you!

My wife and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary this past weekend and we couldn’t be happier dining here. The staff was as attentive and accommodating as one could ask. They took care to ask about allergies and ensured ours would not be a problem. And the complimentary dessert was the icing on the top of a memorable evening. We even found a new favorite wine. Highly recommended.

What a birthday dinner! My friends and I enjoyed dinner for my 35th Birthday on 11/29. I had the Rock Shrimp for starters, the Lobster Tail, Mash & Spinach. The attendants were nice, they checked in on us frequently. Our only concern was the table, it was a little unleveled causing some rocking, which immediately caught our attention. The attendant let us know that all the tables were this way and they were working to have them replaced or leveled not completely sure and after 3 glasses of Prosecco the whole room became unleveled so lol. Overall great experience. The birthday cheesecake was amazing! We left, happy and full and floating! Thanks to the Del Frisco DC team for a memorable 35th birthday!

Came here for Restaurant Week and was not disappointed at all. The 3 course dinner was amazing, started off with the Wagyu Meatballs and they were a solid starter (highly recommend). The 8oz filet mignon was alright alone, nothing too crazy, but the garlic butter sauce made it alot better. Desert was great and our waitress made sure we left satisfied. Overall a great experience.

Solid good quality food served in this masculinely designed spacious restaurant in City Center. Maybe it was the movie playing at the bar, The Expendables, that made me think this, but I’ve rarely encountered a place with more right angles, hard edges and testosterone vibes. This is a place for large appetites for big ppl. Best to come with a group to get the many sides that are divine. We had the prime steak cooked to perfection, potato gratin that was more delicious w each bite, the wedge salad big enough to split w ample amount and flavor, and their house made bread, which could have been cooked a bit longer. To think all of this is supposed to be for one portion is crazy! We had leftovers. Being that we’ve been here a few times, we knew not to overdo it with the ordering. Finished the night w their namesake Cabernet, that was exactly the right call to finish our night on a high note.

Reservations were for 4:30pm. We arrived a little early and we were seated as soon as we checked in with the hostess. We ordered the calamari and Caesar salad to start. The bread for the table was so delicious- better than a lot of other places. I enjoyed the field mignon and, ordered medium rare, and the lobster with truffle butter. The fried rice served with the sea bass was perfectly cooked. We also ordered the cream corn, broccolini, and the start of the show- the lobster Mac and cheese. Ambience, in my opinion, could have been better. I prefer a more dim-lit scene.

Solid date night spot - it’s expensive but food was tasty! I’ve never had a lobster tail that big in my life - it was a little on the tough side but it was tasty the table side carving was an experience! The service was a little slow, but they did take care of us! They gave us a dessert on the house for our celebration! My only complaints were that there were a lot of mosquitoes inside…We got bit multiple times at the table. Also, they were playing Little League on the TVs, which was a strange vibe for a fancy date night restaurant, IMO… other than that, great experience! I’d go back!

My family took me to this restaurant for a birthday dinner, and it was our first visit. The overall dining experience was delightful, with visually appealing and flavorful dishes served at ideal temperatures and portion sizes. I ordered the Double-Bone Pork Chop, which was expertly seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium. The Potatoes Au Gratin on the side were rich, creamy, and generously cheesy. My daughter enjoyed the Short Rib, while my wife had the Salmon—both dishes were well-prepared and offered balanced, enjoyable flavors. The only drawback was the pacing of service. There were noticeable delays, and our server was absent for extended periods. However, when present, he was professionally engaging and charismatic. I also ordered a Whiskey Bourbon Sour crafted by bartender Josh, which was exceptionally well-balanced. His visit to our table to explain the preparation process added a thoughtful, personal touch to the evening.

The food was as advertised. Upscale, tasty, and expertly made/presented. But let's face it, you go to a steak house like Del Frisco's as much for the experience as for the food and I found the experience to be well worth the coin. The atmosphere was sexy, sauve, and sophisticated. I found the service to be one of personal care and brand awareness. Take a date there, go there for a celebratory meal (I was there for a bachelor dinner), or be grown and experience their bar at happy hour (their bar was definitely a vibe and well stocked). Make the splurge and treat yo self. Life can only be lived once and you should definitely enjoy this experience.

I've seen reviews and it seems that other people have had a great experience here. Perhaps it was an off night due to restaurant week. The service was ok. The waiter was polite but distracted with his other tables. The manager came over and was very helpful with our drink selection. The steaks were fine. The bread would have been better if it was warm. The regular sides [ wedge salad, mash, and green beans were ok] the premium potato option was good. We sent the seafood back, it was over cooked. The butter cake with ice cream was the best part of the meal. Instead of splitting the bill between two cards they charged one card twice. I didn't realize this until much later so please check ur bill carefully.

I wanted to like this place a lot especially for the amount of money I'm spending. For a top-level steakhouse to not cook your meat to the desired temperature is inexcusable. If I order medium the whole steak should be medium not medium on the inside and well done toward the edges. We also ordered wagyu which is $80 for 3 oz and it was more medium well than medium. The asparagus wasn't really grilled either but maybe that's just how they make it My other gripe is that we went on a Sunday 5:00 and there were maybe four tables in the hole section and it took over 15 minutes each time to get a refill and after we got our food it was more than 10 or 15 minutes before the waiter came back to see if everything was okay. Not great service for this caliber of a restaurant or any restaurant for that matter

L

I seriously need to know what the hype is over this place because I was highly disappointed. Don’t get me wrong the restaurant is beautiful and the seating upstairs gave a great view of the city. But I cannot say anything else positive about our dining experience. Our server could have possibly been weeded, but everything came out very slow. The seafood appetizers’ saving grace were the sauces accompanying them, otherwise they lacked their natural sweetness. The entrees were also super bland. I did enjoy their sides tho. Would not come back.

Very nice restaurant me & my family eat here often and get the same items each time. This time was a little different and we were not pleases at all. First our cheesesteak eggrolls were burnt hard and crunchy. I ordered a strawberry lemon drip waiter brought over a regular lemon drop which wasn’t a big deal so I was just going to drink it. Went to drink it and realized it had 2 pieces of hair in it along with the sugar rim wet and running. I mentioned the hair he took the drink back to make me another one came back with the same glass and same lemon from the previous drink. Very nasty and disgusting to still use the same dirty items from the previous drink.

Stopped by Del Frisco’s on Saturday for a birthday dinner. The ambiance was great—low, intimate vibes. We were seated on the second floor with a beautiful view of the Conrad and the CityCenter tree, which set the tone nicely. Unfortunately, the service and food fell far short of expectations. We started with a round of drinks, which ended with the server spilling someone else’s drink down the back of my outfit and onto the floor. There was no apology, no cleanup, and no replacement—he simply looked back and walked away. I ordered a medium-rare steak and was served what can only be described as a hockey puck: dry, overcooked, and completely unseasoned. It didn’t melt in my mouth at all. When I notified the server, I was told the kitchen was closing. My friend attempted to order food as well and was met with the same response, so she opted for another drink instead—a lemon drop. The drink never arrived, yet it appeared on the bill. When we pointed this out, the waiter giggled and removed the billfold. The moral of the story: an apology or simple acknowledgment of poor service goes a long way, especially at a restaurant where there are certain expectations for service and quality. While my friend still enjoyed celebrating her birthday, it’s the small details that truly matter. Isiah later called to follow up and worked to resolve the situation, which I genuinely appreciate. Thank you for the follow-up—it did not go unnoticed

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Del Frisco’s, once the pinnacle of steak excellence, has lost all of its charm and quality. Overpriced, over-cooked steaks. Lobster Mac was dry. Octopus app was the best thing we had, which shouldn’t be the standard for a steakhouse. Go to somewhere where the chefs are still innovating and creating, not just resting on their laurels of a reputation of an above average steak.

We decided to give DelFresco Double Eagle Steakhouse a try after hearing rave reviews. The food was fantastic but the service for a "high end" steak house is horrendous!! Far worst than the "exceptional service" their website touted. A distracted waiter taking order with a handful of wine glasses and asked "So, what have you decided?" It felt like a the service I'd expect in a busy diner in NJ! A wrong side dish was brought to the table and not even an apology. My mushroom side dish was delivered after I had finished my dinner. I should have refused it. The whole experience couldn't hold a candle to our visit to the Capital Grille.

I made reservations for my birthday. I was so excited to go to Del Frisco's because of what my sister told me. It was four of us we ordered 4 appetizers, 4 drinks and everyone ordered a steak my sister and I both ordered Tomahawks, and 6 sides. The only food that was good were the appetizers, everything else was terrible. I've never in my life had a steak that was that bad, poor quality (had a lot of fat) no taste, it wasn't seasoned at all except with the garlic butter. Our bill was $800.25, instead of complaining we asked for boxes and paid the bill and left. I said I would never come here again. That was the worst birthday dinner I ever had. I truly wanted to love my experience but I didn't.

O
Oliver

The food was okay, but our order got mixed up and took a while to sort out. Our server was hard to find, and there was no paper to dry your hands or face in any of the restrooms, which was inconvenient. Thank you, but there are far better options in downtown.

I go to Del Frisco’s regularly but they have a major service issue on Sunday. On average their staff on Sunday are less competent and much less welcoming. We ordered a bottle of wine that was form their wine list and it turned out they didn’t have it. That’s ok. It happens but it took them 20 minutes to tell us that and at that point we had already finished our appetizers. We asked to speak to the manager. We were calm and polite. He was rude and condescending. He ended up just walking away and not apologizing properly. Very disappointing from a place that I really like. They need to address their ‘Sunday problem’

N
Nade

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. We waited over TWO HOURS for appetizers, and when they finally arrived, they were cold—completely unacceptable for a restaurant that claims to be upscale. Our waiter also added a $25 charge to our bill without informing us, which is extremely unprofessional and borderline dishonest. The steaks were a disaster: one was overcooked, another was undercooked. For a steakhouse at this price point, this level of incompetence is shocking. I contacted the manager, Mac Bastidas, hoping to resolve the situation, but he refused to help and never called me back. Every attempt to reach him was brushed off with “he’s busy,” and no follow-up ever happened. The lack of accountability from management was just as bad as the food. Between the outrageous wait times, cold food, incorrect charges, poorly cooked steaks, and dismissive management, this restaurant failed on every level. Save your money and go elsewhere
