The food was amazing and the service is on point. Zak was our server and it was our first rime in Alaska and he told us everywhere we should go. I personally had the 16 oz prime rib and it was amazing. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful. GREAT JOB!!!

10 out of 10! From the relaxed atmosphere, to the nice dinning setup, this was an Absolute gem. The staff was extremely nice and helpful in picking out drinks and food. All the drink selections were good, with a decent selection of beer and wine. All the food that we had was great. One the best parts about this restaurant is watching the bi-planes fly in on the lake. The outside seating is great as well on a warm sunny day!

Awesome visit! Negative reviews I have to believe are due to peoples impatience around post pandemic staffing shortages because let me tell you this place was GREAT! Some of the best food we’ve had here, and in Oregon - where we are visiting from. Service was great, venue was beautiful including a river side patio with fire and blankets, seasonal drinks and amazing local food. Couldn’t recommend enough! Cut people a break on busy nights - but they served us well on a Sunday evening. Thank you! (Ps sorry about the bite out of the steak we literally couldn’t wait 😜)

Our first time here was in 1999. It's changed since then. It went downhill for awhile. It's become an excellent dining experience in an iconic spot on Wasilla Lake. I love the Sunday morning brunch during football season. It's a great place for Seahawks fans!

Everett’s has a lot to love, with one key flaw. The drinks, appetizers, and venue were excellent. The service was fantastic, special shout out to the bartender (Rusty), who had the perfect balance between attentiveness and privacy. He also went out of his way to help my wife find a cocktail that suited her taste. He didn’t hover, but was there whenever we needed him. The venue itself is located on Wasilla Lake and provides beautiful views throughout the bar and restaurant. In nicer weather there is outdoor seating on their deck, which would be a wonderful place to enjoy drinks and a meal. At dinner, the appetizer Marsala steak tips were phenomenal, but the entrees left a lot to be desired. The filet mignon was melt in your mouth tender, but was not well seared or seasoned, relying heavily on the bordelaise sauce for flavor. My wife ordered the seafood pasta and found the pasta also without any seasoning or even salt. The seafood was all perfectly cooked, but all the clams were sandy and nothing was seasoned. The scallops were the only highlight of that dish. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée, and that was excellent. Overall, I would recommend Everett’s for the drinks, appetizers, and particularly good service. For the entrees, however, I recommend they clean their seafood a bit more and be less afraid of their spice cabinet. They have everything they need to be the best place in the valley, but their dishes need a bit more “Wow!”.

Food especially seafood dishes was excellent and generously portioned. View was beautiful. Scallop app was excellent as was the seafood pasta and halibut. Drink options were fine, but would have expected a more diverse wine list. We ordered cocktails which were fine! While our server was great when she stopped by, she was clearly too busy. Management should make an effort to have more servers on staff.

Servers did a great job for how many customers they were taking care of. Beautiful lake view. Halibut was way overcooked. Fish and chips were just ok. (Overcooked) King crab leg was good. Pricey. Seafood pasta was delicious, as was the pasta carbonara. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine.

The food was good. The meat literally melted in my mouth. The veggies that went with the steak weren’t cooked all the way, and the sauce was different. The fish and chips were pretty good, just a bit on the salty side. Service was exceptional.

Great restaurant, we love coming here. Food had always been great, but not 100% consistent last few times. Our steaks were not the greatest, but the manager was super understanding and resolved the issue. Their desserts are outstanding, espresso is on point, and appetizers are so delicious. Only have 4 stars for steak last few times. I am returning customers, and the food is good here.

This is the second time my husband and I have dinned at Everett’s for our anniversary dinner. The first time we went here, the food was amazing! We were so excited to come back again especially for the filet mignon. Second time we came here the food wasn’t that great :/ the filet mignon had so much more flavor the first time around. And the Mac and cheese that I ordered was very small for the price. The dessert didn’t seem fresh. It was as if it were a frozen slice of pie that wasn’t fully thawed when we were served. Disappointed the second time around, but my husband and I are wanting to go one more time in the summer so we can go out on the deck before we leave Alaska!

Everett's is excellent fine dining in Alaska. My husband and I dined here in August 2018 and since our company was paying for our meal, we splurged! We had the spinach dip, king crab legs, porterhouse w/ side salad & potatoes, and smore's creme brulee. We also had 3 drinks and our bill (without tip) was $193 - not bad considering everything we ordered! The food was fantastic. Hands down the best steak I've had in Alaska. The service was nice. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed but didn't bother us too much as we were enjoying a dinner date together. We had a spot by the window so it was nice to watch the boats and kayakers out on the lake. Update (October 2021) Service has gone down significantly. At our last visit, our server took our drink order and then we didn't see him again for 45+ minutes. I would have ordered several cocktails, but there were no servers to be found. We saw people from other tables actually getting up and going to the bar themselves to pick up their drinks that had been left sitting there. The cocktail lady behind the bar is awesome and takes care of us usually when there is no server to be found, but she had already worked overtime (we overheard this) and was on her way out. We even saw a chef from the kitchen come out, look around, and then bring food out to patrons sitting on the "fancy" side herself. The Sunday dinner service we last went to was SO bad, we thought we were on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Lack of management in this place is very clear, which is a shame because the food and drinks are delicious. For now, I have to drop to 2 stars (2 only because I really love the gouda fries and the cocktails).

So get this I make reservations at Everett’s for 4:30pm Valentines day dinner a week ago. We get there RIGHT on time- perfect timing. Pretty much an empty parking lot- should be good to get our food and get home at a decent time. Order food about 5-8 minutes later. 30 minutes go by- still waiting on food, no worries 1hr goes by- still waiting on food, watching everyone else who sat after us get their food 1hr 30minutes go by- the lady comes to our table and says it’ll be out in 2 minutes At this point we’re hangry and VERY TIRED of waiting. ANOTHER 30 MINUTES GO BY- the lady comes to our table and says ther manager will write up vouchers for a free entré At this point we have waited 2 hours for free bread- we get up to leave and I go to the front desk to ask about the vouchers. The manager says give them free everything. I wait for about 20 minutes AND FINALLY get them. Smfh. Not. Worth. It.

We tried to do Valentines but we were seated a half hour after our reservation. They were calling 8 pm reservations to cancel. We were 645pm. After 2.5 hours seated, no food but salad. I asked to be cashed out for salads and drinks. Only after I complained I was offered comps. I refused because im not doing that again. The mistake was having a full menu running w the Valentines. Just advertise 1 menu for this day rather than ruin everyone Valentines.

I had been excited to try Everett's for awhile. Made reservations for my anniversary for a seat outside. When I arrived told there was nothing available, a 45 minute wait, and four other parties were ahead of us. The only option gave to us was a couch outside. When I asked about indoor seating, they said there was a window seat, when I said that would work, it turned out those tables were also occupied. Ended up at a table near the noise bar. From our table we could see three open tables outside. When our waitress arrived (Courtney) she was kind and wished us a happy anniversary, Everett's provided a card saying Happy Anniversary for the table. We ordered drinks, and planned to make the most of the evening. When the drinks arrived we were told half the appetizers were out. At this point we decided to cut our losses, finish our drinks and leave. When we asked for the check our server asked if everything was OK? We explained the situation and she was shocked, she offered to move us to the deck, since she had two open tables out there. We declined and thanked her, paid, then went to Settler's Bay Lodge. We ended up have a fabulous dinner with a gorgeous view and a full menu to choose from. In short: Everett's can take a reservation, but cannot keep it, which is the most important part. Save yourself a headache and go to Settler's Bay Lodge.
