This place did not disappoint. We had the deep fried Churros which melted in your mouth and their burgers were such great portions, that we left stuffed. The staff were extremely friendly and they also had a great beer selection as well. We will definitely go back. I highly recommend this place.

the new owners are from the double musky and the food is FABULOUS. really some of the best wings that i’ve had in my whole life. ask the server what spice rub to recommended — ours was perfectly seasoned and spicy. we got the burger too and ate it so fast i forgot to take a photo. the atmosphere hasn’t changed barely at all with the new owners tho and that’s important for the locals that frequent here. there’s a full bar, obviously, but they make great mocktails too. you can come in and sit at the bar or there are tables.

I've been several times and the service has always been friendly and genuine. This is my go-to establishment for small town Alaska vibe, reminds me of home. I haven't tried the food yet but it smelled like they were putting an excellent char on the burgers.

Stopped at the Palmer Bar while on our honeymoon. Awesome little bar! Bartender was very helpful with fun things to see and do in Palmer. A local even bought us a shot. Everyone is friendly at this place!! Will return on our anniversary back!

Love love love this place! If you're looking for a dive bar with great burgers and a selection of local beers, this place is definitely worth a visit. You'll get to enjoy tasty burgers and support local breweries at the same time. My suggestions are the teriyaki burger and bacon bleu burger.

Palmer Bar delivers exactly what you expect from a dive bar — dim lights, laid-back crowd, and service that matches the vibe. Nothing fancy, nothing pretentious. We’ve had decent food here on previous visits (good for bar standards), so we figured Taco Tuesday was a safe bet. Unfortunately the tacos showed up looking the part but tasting like they had taken a vow of silence. Pretty flavorless and left a lot to be desired. Tap beer was exactly what you’d expect from a dive bar tap list. The margarita was fine — it existed, it was cold, it did its job. Nothing to write home about. Now the surprise hero of the night: the cream cheese stuffed churros with berry sauce and whipped cream. Those things were fantastic and honestly stole the whole show. Come for the dive bar vibes and drinks. Stay for the churros. Maybe let Taco Tuesday sit this one out. 🌮

Ok place. Locals probably love it. Most people say they like the food. I didn't. The bartender is good, but tried to tell me that $10 tip is only 5% for $100 check. I gave her extra $20 and left.

Very rude and not polite what’s so ever. Won’t come again. I never understand how these people maintain their job when they are disrespectful right at the beginning. Girl with long brown hair and 5”2 giving me dirty looks when I’m just trying to decide what to order. Unbelievable!
