Taco Tuesday 🌮 special is a great value. They do have black beans (if you like them)but have to ask. This location (377)has really good ones. For fast food (it's good)on the upscale side. Try them.
Taco salad is 5⭐️! The prices are very reasonable on all the menu item. Taco Tuesday is the best deal in town.
It's casual fast food, but the food is a step above what you're used to getting from a restaurant with a drive-thru. My family loves the family platter to share. Fresh made tortillas are good, but by far, my favorite thing on their menu is the carrot cake.
What can I say? For me, this has been the Taco Tuesday spot to go for a long time. The first time I went there for the Taco Tuesday deal, it was $3.33. The Watauga location on Denton Hwy is a good one
I am here on a return visit because I recently moved. I have craved Rosa's for weeks, and today's visit was a real fejavu time. The food and staff are superb. Craving has temporarily subsided for a little bit of Rosa's down-home Mexican Cafe. Hope to visit 1 more time before we have to head out again. All thumbs up!
Rosa's has great homemade tortillas and their taco Tuesday taco plates are awesome to feed a whole family. Service is super fast. The food is good quality and big portions.
Cooked perfect each time. Everything is good! Fresh quac and chips... yummy!
This is the best fast-casual Tex Mex anywhere.
I was in the mood for breakfast tacos. I was tired of not being satisfied with the food I received at other restaurants. I had breakfast tacos. The ultimate taco is delicious. While the ingredients were top notch, the tortillas pushed the taco to the next level. Light, fluffy, and flavorful. Delicious. I ended up buying extra tortillas to bring home. The staff was very kind and professional. I will definitely go back again.
I stopped by the Rosa's in Watauga on a cold and dreary night, with heavy rainfall. My mood was quickly elevated by the friendly and efficient service I experienced. The food is carefully prepared to order specifications, and almost always waiting at the window after just ordering via speaker. The staff here is always personable and most considerate and efficient. On this night, Amal at the service window took it to another unprecedented level. She remembered me and that I like extra salsa, and included it without prompting. While waiting for a specialty item, Amal included some additional salsa and honey which she knew I liked. This was most refreshing and appreciated. Many of Rosa's competitors, are very stingy with their salsa (if not in a litle packet), and charge high prices for additional salsa. Not only is Rosa's salsa much better than others, but providing it freely as a complement to ordered food is so appreciated. The food is wonderful, particularly the beef fajitas, cheese enchiladas, and anything made with the fabulous homemade flour tortillas. As good as the food is, the specific that drives this rating is the exceptionally kind and generous service by Amal and others.
It was good, not a place I go to often. Had someone walking around asking for money, holding a sign he was deaf and need help.
The food at Rosas is delicious. The atmosphere is good. They usually play Spanish music which is good.
We love going here for breakfast. The food is always hot and taste great. Also, taco Tuesdays is the best day of the week. They are busy but very fast with service.
Either super early in the morning or pick up tortillas and queso to add to my own dinner at home. But every once in a while I go inside as well specifically for the sopapillas that are always better fresh. I have never once had a negative experience with any staff member
I've been a loyal patron of this restaurant for many years, and every visit is consistently fantastic! I've never had a negative experience here. It's hands down my favorite restaurant because the food is always fresh and delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is fast and efficient. Plus, they prioritize cleanliness, which I really value!
We went for Taco Tuesday, first time every experiencing Taco Tuesday, anywhere! Did NOT disappoint. I love the taco bar so you can get all the toppings you want for your menu items but also you get amazing portions of rice and beans with your taco special! All employees are courteous and kept on top of cleanliness. Loved the atmosphere. The whole experience was so nice I visited the following Tuesday since I was only in the area for vacation. Only thing I wouldn't recommend is the chocolate cake. I'm hoping my taste buds were just off but I did not like it, it looks amazing though! Thank you to the employees and mgmt, keep up the great work there! See you soon, I hope!
Love this place my breakfast of choice ❤️
Traditional Rosa's. Very consistent quality. Taco Tuesday is the way ro go.
They have lowered the portions that don't necessarily make it worth the money but the food is still good
Fast service! Foods good as always
This please has some of the most delicious flavorful food I’ve had in a long time. I didn’t know the food would be so freaking delicious. I mean compliments to the chef all the way! I consider myself a chef as well and tend to be very critical, but this food amazed me. I would give them 10 stars if I could. A+
Picked up bulk order. Quick to quote, responsive, great food, and reasonably priced.
Love their fajita plate. The only thing that needs work is their cakes, the bread is very dry.
The place to be! I absolutely have always loved this Rosa’s. The food is delicious every single time. This are super quick! Everyone inside treats you like family, and it’s always clean! I love love love this place!
We don't have a tortilla factory near us so anytime I'm near keller/ft worth you know I'm going to my favorite Rosas.... delicious food 😋
Rosa's is great and a little bit less expensive than other restaurants like this. I like to take my family here when we're craving Rosa's. I love their fresh flour tortillas. They are so soft and warm because they are made right there within sight. I usually get the same thing, but I have tried other things on the menu. Everything has been delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. So good 👍
Family friendly atmosphere and quality meat. Loved the AL carbon platter and queso with chips. Fast and friendly service
My family enjoys Rosa's very much. In fact we host birthdays here and cater parties at home with their taco trays. Real food at real good prices. 10 out of 10 recommend.
Rosa's food is our favorite go to for fast Mexican food without the fast food feel. They have the absolute best homemade flour tortillas than any I've ever had. Highly recommend this place.
Can't go wrong coming here, the plates are full filling and at a decent price im gonna say 5 stars for clean place good food and good service 😀 👌 😉 👍 😄 😎
Rosa’s Cafe consistently has great food, and this location stands out. The food is always delicious, the service is fast, and the employees are friendly. I always enjoy coming here.
I don’t know what it is about taco Tuesday and Ross’s Cafe, but you can’t get a better deal on great tasting tacos! The shells are crunchy every time I’ve been here. The beef is seasoned well and not a lot of grease leaking out like some other establishments I’ve visited and cost more. The black beans recently added to their menu are really good. A nice change up from the refried beans I usually get. They don’t skimp on the beef filling either, decent amount in each taco. Their rice is equally good too. I like mixing it with the beans and use a flour tortilla to scoop some up. All in all, this place rocks. Good food served quickly, but not tasting like fast food at all. Pics next Tuesday, I ate too fast again.
I’ve been eating here for over two decades. Typically through the drive-thru but dining in is nice as well. All of their meals are priced very well and many plates are under $12. I love their breakfast bowls and plates. The only real difference in their breakfast pricing is that the plates come with two tortillas, not seen in my attached picture. The breakfast plate shown is under $6.00 with tax. Update 11/17/2023: Added a picture of their chicken enchiladas that I had for a late lunch today.
One of our favorite fast food chains! Service is always great! Love the fresh tortillas and salsas. They keep the tables and chairs clean and the place tidy!! Can’t go wrong with a dozen pork tamales and fajitas!
Need an order for 25 people ready in 2 hrs? Rosas has always been quick, but this was next level. I called the store direct and Dallas answered the phone. He walked me through the best option for fajitas for 25 people and got the order placed. I walked in 2 hrs later, food was ready to go. 25 plates and utensils were also included in the bag without me having to ask! And the food? Well it’s Rosa’s so that’s always a win. Thank you Dallas!
My only issue is they are still wearing the rubber gloves. I watched one of the employees on the serving line wear the same gloves for over 39 minutes. Food servers need to go back to touching with their bare hands and washing them. Their hands are kept clean because of the gloves. The gloves are what is touching our food.
The food here is great. They have a great taco Tuesday special! It’s clean and very well kept. Only thing I don’t like about this place is no free chips and salsa, that’s extra.
Typical mid-range Mexican food. Nothing remarkable but pleasant. Counter order, table seating. Nice salsa bar and warm tortillas.
I get so tired of the queso I paid for being more on the wrapper than the tortilla & meat. $6.++ for meat, tortilla and queso and you can't even get the queso IN the tortilla. Also the plates are NASTY on the bottom that sat on the plate below mine. Super GROSS.
Migraine day. It's not fair to review a place on a migraine day. It was a chance to sit and enjoy the company of three of my kids. That made everything better.
I don't know about authenticity, but the food is good and they are ridiculously fast every time at the drive through. So is it fresh to order? Not quite. Is it great abuela's secret recipe? Nope. But is it quick, affordable, and pretty darn good? Yep.
The worst Rosa's I have been at . It's clean . The staff gets orders wrong, or they always forget something on your order . I paid 60 dollars worth of food in the drive thru .. they handed me the bag, and both containers were all blended in together. The beanns ,rice, and tamales . I get home to see they put a medium thing of salsa on the bottom of the bag . Come on .. do better and pack the customers' food better . Too many teens working and not caring .
First and foremost I have to say, all of the food was very good, no complaints in that dept. I had never been here before and my usual spot closed for the night so I thought why not, I got a #13 which I believe is beef fajita burrito w/ guac. $6 roughly, pretty good deal, the only problem was it was essentially a rolled up taco, same size tortilla as the tacos I ordered, thinner than a bean and cheese from the bell, granted much better tasting. The guy in drive thru was awesome I asked if it came with salsa or anything and he gave me a big to go portion at no extra cost. Would eat again 100% just maybe doublecheck burrito size or only tacos next time. It was good enough I wasnt mad, but had I only ordered the burrito I would have been quite a bit more upset. 4.2/5
Good quick food. Love their Tortillas.
It was a nice environment and vibrantly decorated. A lot of food for the money spent. Food was prepared quickly and tasted great.
We recently found out they serve breakfast, so we stop by. We were not disappointed. The food quality is comparable to a loving family restaurant - 3 stars. We ordered 2 tamales ( chicken & pork) and a migas plate. The pork tamale was moist and juicy & the chicken was good but a little dried. The migas plate was plentiful and delicious. This will be our new Tex-Mex breakfast place for now on A+
Went here for dinner with the family after shopping nearby. This is a good place for grabbing a late meal, as the dining room is open a bit later than other restaurants in the area. We all had the tacos Al carbon plate with beef. Nicely cooked fajita beef in flour soft tacos with guacamole inside. I opted for the black beans instead of refried, and they were cooked with onions and nicely spiced without being mushy. The dining room is well lit and spacious, with many large booths and tables to seat families or other large groups. The drink fountains were kind of rough, with the coke taps both running out when we were there, but that was the only issue we encountered. Id recommend this Rosa's as a good family dining experience at a good price.
We were craving nachos, and Rosa’s was the easy choice. We ordered the beef, bean, cheese, and jalapeño nachos along with a couple of crunchy tacos. Half the fun of nachos is the mess you make eating them, and these definitely delivered. The fajita beef had the same great flavor I remembered, though it was a little light on the portion. The crunchy tacos were solid, and the salsa bar had plenty of fresh options to load up on. Service was friendly and fast — we had barely sat down after hitting the salsa bar and our food was already ready. The festive atmosphere, with Mexican pottery and music, really sets the mood. A solid snack that hit the spot and satisfied the craving.
We ready her pretty often, their tacos are great and the shredded chicken is fantastic. It really depends on the day though if you get great food, or just okay food, though. Some days it's fantastic, while others have stale tacos and gristle in the chicken. It also always feels just a bit too dirty.
Food (migas bowl) was perfect temperature but lacked flavor. Coffee tasted old.
I've been a longtime fan of Rosa's Café and always enjoy my visits. However, this particular branch was a disappointment. The plates at the main counter were visibly dirty—I had to sift through 6-7 before finding a clean one, as many still had food residue on them. While the service was quick, the food was not as hot as it should have been, and the preparation did not match the quality I've come to expect from other locations in this chain.
The food is aforable and good for the price. It's served a bit bland, but there's a salsa and topping bar to dress up your food. They make fresh flour tortillas, which is nice. The chicken tamales were not great; they could use a new recipe to vamp it up.
Good vibe and nice looks to the place, but the prices are too high for the food quality... a simple 2 or 3 dollars deduction per meal would make the whole difference and increase reviews. I'd give another Mexican place a chance for your money. Rosas- please contact me so we can make this better please.
It's a fast food mexican resturant, DO NOT , get the famales, I say families for Tamales, because they are fake Tamales.
My husband came through the drive thru around 9 PM on 6/6/2024 and got 3 lbs of only beef fajita meat. It cost about $132 dollars. If the beef had been good quality, I feel (even though I believe it is overpriced), I wouldn't have been quite as upset except that it was overcooked and the meat was mealy textured. I hate that the quality of food is getting lower and prices still getting higher, so high I guess I'll just cook and eat at home from now on.
Better watch out when you pay with cash. They have a tendency to accidentally on purpose not give correct change back to ya and then not understand when you show them the receipt!!!
I did not know this was a fast food spot thought it was a restaurant 1. Food was affordable But the only good things here are the tortillas chips and salsa I would never come eat here again Food was cold and gave me a stomach ache I was so disappointed 😞 Tortillas were the best but the rest is not worth it
The food its self is alright but a little bland. The staff is rude and makes me not want to come back. My husband enjoyed what he ordered but they also got his correct. My order was messed up but decided i rather not deal with them again so i ate it anyways. Not sure if its the morning crew or what. Might try again for some afternoon but so far not pleased.
Drive-through needs quality control improvement. Ordered 4 dinners and got home to find 3. Called restaurant and they were helpful did credit one back to my card, but one person went hungry! Packing on one box leaked the beans out and over the lid. Food was okay for fast food. Not the best Mexican by far but okay. Prices are on the higher end but everyone has shot up their prices like Tesla stock so whatever. Would not repeat. Maybe dine in only if absolutely dire straights.
Food ia very mediocre. Soft drink area was dirty and had a layer of grime on the table and lid containers. Most of the water dispensers were broken.
My family and I went to eat yesterday because it was Taco Tuesday. The older Hispanic man was no help; he had an attitude. I order steaks quesadillas when I got my order, I realized the quesadillas were missing. So, I went back to the older man that's when he told me they don't sell quesadillas. My issue is WHY didn't he tell me that when I was ordering my food. I know why because he had poor customer service. Management, please work with your employees about good customer service.
I asked specifically for two taco plates with chicken and repeated it multiple times with cashier since I cannot eat beef due to our religion. I was then STILL given beef taco plates and did not notice I was until my husband and I took a bite. Totally unacceptable. Went to the counter where the associates hand the food and explained the situation and he cut me off and just asked what it was supposed to be as I explained how important it is for me to not eat beef. Please check your food prior to eating it if you have strict dietary restrictions or religious beliefs when coming to this location.
just an fyi if you ever wanna come here avoid the manager “Sandra”. She’s always rude and disrespectful, has the dirtiest look on her face all the time too. Never once had a good interaction with her, all the other managers are always helpful and kind.
Butter is horrible. Food cold. For fajitas for two. $50! Should be better. Refried beans taste bad. Rice taste bad. This is just not what it use to be.
Went here for an after party for an event at my daughter's school on Thursday February 19th and the gentleman work in the cash register was super rude to myself and several other people waiting in line. I would have just left if I was not there for said event. I love Rosa's and frequent you folks quite a bit but this gentleman does not need to be in customer service or anything facing customers.
I came here I ordered a steak fajitas egg bowl. I asked for bacon on the side because the person I was eating the bowl with don't eat bacon. They put back on it then they tried to take it off. They didn't give me a new one they scrape the bacon out. Once we arrived to our destination I called them and explained the situation to them. They took my name and told me I could come get a new one when I could. Today I went to get the bowl and they said they didn't know of such a thing and was argumentative. The fact they didn't even care to put my bacon I paid for on the side and put it on the food. The other person couldn't even eat. They had no care. Just sad!!
Not sure what was going on tonight but the food was ice cold. They were not that busy with a couple of tables inside and a couple of cars in the drive-thru. The burrito that I ordered was more like a taco and wouldn't have even been enough to feed a toddler. For about $6 or $7 I expected much larger smh. Rosa's you need to do better I won't be going back.
I went to get my son a steak taco and this is their steak taco for six dollars. It’s literally one strip of fajita beef and a tiny piece on the side cut into pieces. The economy is hurting, but goodness if you’re going to charge more, you don’t put less food. Their customer service was horrible. Will never return there again and I don’t recommend anyone going and getting ripped off there.
Great if you love bland. Go to Taco Bueno instead. Hell, ho to Taco Bell if you must rather than choosing Rosa's. Similar prices and better flavor at both. Make Taco Bueno seem like haute cuisine.
We picked up our food to-go at 7pm tonight and brought it home only to realize they didn't include our entire order. We had to drive back to the restaurant to pick up the items that were forgotten and finally sat down to eat a cold $70 meal just after 8pm. The staff was very unapologetic when we returned to pick up the rest of our meal that they neglected to send the first time.
Went to the drive through for a crunchy taco plate. My bad for not checking. Soft taco it is! Meat only and a few tomatoes. No cheese no lettuce. Not happy being that I’m 20 Minutes away.
Used to be great but now the cashiers are extra lazy and rude brats.
Went through the drive thru and placed a order. Got home and discovered stuff was missing. Hubby had to drive back and the girl in the window argued for 10 minutes. Won't be back!
Come on guys, 5.99 and 4.99 for these "burritos"? The soft tacos at taco bell are bigger than this. All their take on a burrito is tortilla, meat and some guacamole. These portions are entirely too small for the price. Yall have got to do better. The quality was okish but in this economy I have to go where my money lasts. Its really sad too because I like this place but the quality and appropriate quanity/portion is not here. If taco bell is doing better than you, you are in serious trouble.
First time here and loved the speedy food and how delicious everything was! That was my initial post, however, after continuing to eat I saw the bug that is seen in the picture in my food. Although management refunded us after hesitation with returning all the food on the table, we will not be returning.
Came here and ordered the beef fajita plate with quac. Every plate comes with Guam on side and they put it on the taco. Told them I’m allergic and they said tuff. Never again. Would not remake it for me.
Lack of side on fajitas is laughable. Cheese is like 3 shreds and sour cream is a dot
We have done pick up from Rosa's for years now. I have always enjoyed their food as a quick decent Tex-Mex. But tonight's (a Friday night) food was horrible. I've always loved their chicken fajitas. But tonight's it was so bad! It tasted like someone had dumped about half a cup of black pepper on my food. Not good spices. Just black pepper. After I recovered from my coughing fit, I could see the black spots of pepper all over my food. I had to throw it away. And my husband's "burrito" was a tortilla with 3 or 4 pieces of beef fajitas. It wasn't rolled. It wasn't fried. There was nothing but beef and a tortilla. I don't know what the heck is going on, but I can't see every buying food from them again. Sad because they had always been decent, convenient food.
I'm a fan but tonight they did me bad. My plate was leaking in the bag and ultimately leaked all over me and my car. I understand that they were getting ready to close but this rush job was disappointing to say the least. I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas and as you can see by the photos there was barely any chicken and the tortillas were just laying on top not rolled. This is just unacceptable!!!!
