Banana Foster pancakes...omgosh soooo good. Food was amazing and our waiter was adorable. Teenager that had only worked there a couple weeks. Didn't catch his name but great service. I love IHOP anyway...but the Waxahachie location is amazing! Go try those pancakes!

Our work group was really big, but they accommodated us wonderfully. Mike Jones was our server, and I was so impressed with how much he was able to manage with 30+ people, all with different checks split up across tables and chairs. He was even able to comfort us when the kitchen ran out of avocado, hahaha.

This place was closed on a Tuesday night not a holiday just a normal day and they supposed to be 24 hours

Food, service, and hospitality excellent. Very happy with my eggs Benedict and homestyle potatoes. Coffee was perfect. My sister's breakfast was eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes and she loved her breakfast. They have specials as well if you don't find what you want on the menu. Lunch menu as well. We will be back!

Our waitress last night was AMAZING!!!! there were 20+ of us last night I think, 10 adults and 10+ kids The promo had an adult meal = free kids meal. So all the kids were able to eat free, HUGE HUGE blessing!! We were cold and hungry having just finished caroling in Ennis a little earlier in the evening. The kitchen was open till 945pm so we had beaten the close by a hour thankfully. 🙏 But ALL of our meals were spot on!!! Everything tasted GREAT, all the orders were accurate ❤️ Merry Christmas!!! It's an easygoing place to get good food. The people there are top notch who will always make sure you're taken care of. My daughter and I have made this our Saturday breakfast date for 6 years now and not looking to change it!

Gotta love IHop. We made it to the IHoppy Hour. The amount of food was perfect. The quality was the best. New wait staff. Made a mistake but was able to have an instructional moment. Due to error they removed an item off our ticket. She was very gracious and we appreciated her and her trainer. You show grace, you get grace in return. Very clean, staff wore masks, shields have been placed to separate patrons at booths. Could not have been a better experience.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Lexi our server was incredible! I appreciated her going above and beyond for me and my daughter with special needs, her customer service skills were LEGENDARY!! We will be back!:)

I just left IHOP in Waxahachie of course church rush, our waitress Lindsey was absolutely amazing. I doubted her when she took our order and didn’t write anything down, but she got everything correct and knew who’s order was who’s. She never let my husband go with an empty glass of water, she was so busy with so many people this morning but we never had to wait on anything. This young lady deserves big tips she’s amazing.

Every time we come to this IHOP, the manager is always out there helping. Whether it’s busy or not, he’s taking names, seating people, even cleaning tables. It’s really cool to see a manager who jumps in and supports the team like that. Makes a big difference!

We had a great experience there with our group of six. We go there frequently and always like Mike to wait on us. He takes care of us in a friendly and timely manner. He's the your best asset...besides the food!!!

My family and I enjoy coming to this Ihop. The service is always good and the food comes out fast. The staff is always really friendly and it’s a good environment. Today, our server was Jessica and she did an excellent job at taking care of us.

Good variety of breakfast items. This location is a busy on weekends. Service is quick and plenty of seating. I enjoy the variety of omelets and pancakes. Vegetarian options are also available. I normally order online on weekends. Very nice location for breakfast.

Everyone working here has excellent service skills! I will definitely come back here! My waitress was absolutely amazing, she did an excellent job. The cook was ON POINT! The food was perfect! Bacon and hash browns were both perfectly crunchy, over medium eggs were exactly over medium, biscuit browned on the griddle. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake pancake meal with a hot chocolate. Everything came out super fast, great service, clean restaurant. I witnessed another waitress touch or bump a glass with her bracelet and she immediately told the customer and told her she would bring another glass of water. That level of attention deserves recognition. Great job to all of the workers at this location!

We had a family breakfast with 3 generations and loved the experience. From chocolate chip pancakes for the kids to the big breakfast meals for the adults, the food was delicious and at perfect temperature. We had a great experience because of our server Michael. If I had to guess, he had close to 45 people he was taking care of by himself with very limited help from other employees. Though he was extremely slammed, he made to take care of our table to the highest standard. He made sure our drinks were always filled, took our order extremely fast, made sure our food was cooked correctly and to our specifications. We received our food within 10 minutes of ordering even though it was so busy... all thanks to Michael. When I come back to this Ihop, I will make sure to ask for Michael as my server because of the experience and excellent service that he provided. If I were the manager or the owner, I would be extremely proud to have such a hard and dedicated worker such as Michael.

Had a great experience at IHOP thanks to our server, Michael. The place was packed and you could tell it was a crazy busy shift, but he handled it like a pro. Even with a long line of customers, he stayed cool, kept a great attitude, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. He checked in on us regularly, made sure everything came out right and was just overall super friendly and on top of things. You don’t always get service like that especially when a restaurant’s that slammed. Appreciate the effort Michael you made the visit way better than expected. You could tell he genuinely cared, which goes a long way these days.

Our waitress, Sylvia, was great! Fast, efficient and friendly. My spinach and mushroom omelette was amazing. The mushrooms were fresh and very large. I have been like just about every American, been to IHOP at least once in your lifetime. I have been to this one a few times before, and have never had a bad experience. On this visit, a Saturday morning around 10am, exactly as you would expect, BUSY! There was a wait, wait time was expected and not as long as I thought and ya know what, it was actually worth the wait. The server was polite and attentive, food was presented nicely and hot, portions were on point and tasted as expected and exactly as ordered! I was very pleased and everything was very clean, no complaints! Good job IHOP!

I think all IHOPs should go up to make more room in their dining room. The turkey bacon was not cooked all the way. They also need to partner with Starbucks for coffee!

Very disappointed. Last time I ate at this location, it was fantastic. This time, my hashbrowns were way undercooked. The pancakes were nicely browned on on one side and super pale on the other. Although there were only three tables seated, it appeared that the cook was more interested in speed than quality. The service was great.

The food has been great every time. I’d say two downsides really. One, that they never have French vanilla creamer. Two, the waitresses are hit or miss. There’s one lady that’s charismatic and takes care of you no matter how busy they are. There was another time where a waitress was being attentive to my boyfriend but not taking care of what I needed. When we arrived, the hostess was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure no one missed their name being called. I ordered the country-fried steak with gravy, blueberry pancakes, orange juice, water, and fresh coffee. My husband ordered a medium-rare T-bone steak. Unfortunately, his steak came out well done and as thin as paper, and while the waiter tried to correct it, my country-fried steak also came out thin and tasted prepackaged and reheated, which was disappointing. I didn’t receive my orange juice but was still charged for it. There was already a coffee pot on the table, and the waiter mentioned the previous guests had used it but asked if I wanted to finish what was left. I declined and asked for fresh coffee. Although the place was crowded, the wait wasn’t long, but I was more concerned about sanitation. Regrettably, we likely won’t return.

As I came in to this IHop the young man who sat me never rally greeted me an seemed put out that he was having to seat me. He then placed me at a table that was not even cleared. This is why they lost 2 stars. After the disappointing start everything looked up as the server Jamie was positive and upbeat. She was helpful and attentive to just the right amount. The food was well prepared an I had the breakfast sampler. The resturant itself is in good repair and clean for the most part except for sitting people before a table is bussed properly. Overall an ok experience saved by the second chance and not the first impression.

The strawberries, blueberries, and avocados were really fresh. The chicken was dry, and the lettuce was a lot of hard end pieces. It was OK, but I wouldn't order it again.

IHOP's are pretty much the same in the food. It's usually good but I had the new biscuit chicken sandwich and it was mid as hell. I took one bite and the biscuit fell apart so I just ate the chicken. The women's bathroom. Is pretty bad. I actually cried today in the bathroom. Cried! The smallest stall is a major problem. When it auto flushes, and it does so quick, it spashes water all over the whole stall. My whole backside was splashed with toilet water, so yes I balled like a baby in that bathroom. And if that wasn't bad enough, the toilet seat cover I put down was half in the water so it slung that wet cover around as well. I came out of the stall traumatized. A waitress was in there and I told her what happen. She said, "Oh I know! It's so bad how it flushes too quick and splashes everywhere. So sorry!" So guys, they know it does that.... that is pretty sad that they know they have an angry toilet that baptizes your a$* and backside with toilet water and they are ok with it. Sigh.... I really wanted to leave a great review but .... yeah.

We are an older couple and went for breakfast this morning. We have eaten here several times over the years and though the restaurant was always cold we enjoyed the food. Today it was absolutely freezing inside. We ended up placing our order to go. If we do go back we will take something very warm to wear.

Staff is great, food is decent but I have serious concerns about cleanliness. I have been having breakfast weekly for the past three weeks and the floors have been dirty on all visits. Table cleanliness is also hit and miss. Makes me very concerned about kitchen and overall cleanliness.

No one checked on me and when I left 4 of the employees, 4 women near the kitchen were laughing and talking loudly about me leaving when they were juat gossiping and not doing their job. The place is freezing, food is served hot but chills too quickly. Bathrooms are a mess. My over-easy eggs still had really runny egg white. The bacon was served with either floaters from grease or was cooked on an unscraped griddle. Our server was sweet and took care of us like a boss. (P.S. Very disappointed. First off my family came in and ask to be seated and they told us that they stop cooking by 945 and close by 10pm, twice at that. Made me feel so uncomfortable bc if the hostess didnt want us to stay then from the get-go they should have told us that they weren't serving. We asked for a high chair, waiter couldn't even bring that. Waiter also ask us to pass down drinks from one side to the other side of the table, keep in mind there was kids in between. Plus he wanted us to tip him, ha! Very unprofessional, I lost my appetite. But get this, two more parties came and and I don't think they got the same treatment as us. Smh!!!

The 1 star is because my mother went in for lunch. She customized an order and apparently the cooks weren't happy about it because the plates were very very hot like they were on the grill and mother burnt her fingers. NOT COOL!!!!! Visited IHOP in Waxahachie at 6am with three coworkers. We were disappointed right from the start—originally wanted to meet at 4am, but it wasn’t open 24/7. I ordered country fried steak with eggs and pancakes, one friend got chicken and pancakes, another ordered a vegan plate with Impossible sausage. When our food arrived, the country fried steak had barely any gravy, just a small spoonful in the middle. The hashbrowns were overcooked and crispy, and my friend’s chicken was dry and hard. Service was a huge letdown. Our water glasses were only refilled right before we left, and when I asked for butter pecan syrup, I got a tiny cup instead of the usual syrup caddy. At checkout, the friend who ordered Impossible sausage noticed he was charged for two pieces but only received one. When he asked about it, the waitress just blamed their “new POS system” and wouldn’t deduct the charge. She also refused to apply another coworker’s AARP discount, again citing the POS system as the reason. We waited until 7am for a manager, only to be told they wouldn’t be coming in until later. Overall, the waitress was rude, dismissive, and constantly used the “new POS” excuse instead of helping us. Won’t be coming back here anytime soon.

How is the IHOP at 2:45 waited for 45 minutes the waitress was very rude heavy set black prepared woman kick me out after I asked if I can give her my order 45 minutes and she hadn't asked me what I wanted to order she kicked me out when it's cold outside and my ride hasn't made it here IHOP off of 77 especially if she's there she had no reason to kick me out I was nice and cordial even after I waited 45 minutes to ask her if she can take my order

We arrived at 9:34 PM and were immediately told, “We just took our last table for the night,” even though closing time is 10 PM and no one even asked if we were okay with takeout. If you stop seating 30 minutes before closing, that needs to be clearly posted. Turning customers away that early — without offering any alternative — feels unprofessional and dismissive. Very disappointing experience.

They made multiple mistakes which is okay, but the way it was handled was unprofessional, the blond tall guy was so rude same with the skinny blond girl with bad eyeliner. should honestly be fired. It was my mom’s bday on Xmas and we were very patient considering the day. Our server was a skinny, young man who kept walking around in circles with no sense of urgency. We waited 20 mins before he came to take our order and that’s because we asked him to take it before he took another lap. No refills for about 30 more mins. We sat down at 5 pm and didn’t get the first two plates (out 5) until 1 1/2 hours later and until we asked the manager to come speak to us. I have worked diners before and I know those two plates were sitting there under the lamps for some time. We got up and left at 7 pm, 2 hours after we were initially sat. My thing is, why have that many tables open if there’s not enough cooks? The other waitresses were taking care of their tables just right, we say in the back with the worst waiter ever.

I was standing there for 20+ min waiting to be sat with my older son. A couple walked in and was waiting for less than 5 min and a waitress walked up, looked around me and sat the other couple. The couple said I think they are waiting, I said yes, and she said its ok. I think they were family because they brought and handed her something. Another 10 minutes and still nothing. I ultimately left and never got seated. It was so bad.
