I'm 43 and it's my first time to see a new Long John Silvers! Service was great, got the food fast. Oil didn't taste old/ burnt like some places. I'll be going again soon.
This is the first time I have eaten at a LJS in years, and I was, by far, the best experience I have ever had! The new building is great. The staff were all very friendly. The dining room was clean and they were not out of anything. I ordered chicken planks (my all time favorite), but they were short one piece. I got the rest of my food, and was told the other piece would be out shortly. I received it about 3 minutes later. The lady that brought it out to me apologized for the wait and wanted to know if I needed anything else. I received great customer service from start to finish. My food tasted fresh and was cooked well. I love the new waffle fies! I will definitely be eating there more. Thanks for the great service!
I love this place! Just like I remember as a kid! Food is fresh and crispy! Fish is light and rich at the same time. Shrimp are surprisingly wonderful! Best coleslaw I’ve ever had. Inside of restaurant is clean and staff is very friendly. Wait for food is about 10 min but completely worth it for fresh food! My husband and I are total foodies and do t eat much fast food but we come here regularly. I read some of the negative reviews for this location and I am baffled!
Place was every clean and the food was good. You could tell that they oil the food was fried in was clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
A modern LJS. I ordered online so it'd be ready by the time I arrived. They accidentally mislabeled my food, so it sat on the shelf for 20 minutes and got cold. It was still delicious and the workers were understandably too busy to notice and it took them 8 minutes to figure out where the mistake was made.
I love me some Long John Silvers, but when you order food it should be fresh.. you pay good money not even get what you pay for. Not freshly cooked the amount I added pics to show you what you pay for and what you get. I rated the service bad bc the food was not freshly cooked and the amount.
Fish and chicken were great. Their choices for sides is limited. They don't have the awesome old French fries. The waffle fries are a disappointment and can be used as a weapon.
Ordered from Doordash. Ice cold food, no silverware, no straws. Driver said he had a double dash and looked stressed so maybe it wasn't all the restaurants fault but either way I'll be eating cheap seafood elsewhere.
We are on Weatherford visiting and decided to order lunch before going to our hotel. We ordered online for a 2:30 PM pick up. We arrived 8 minutes early. Our food was already bagged and setting there when we arrived. We took it to our hotel (2 minutes away. The food had steamed itself in the plastic bag they put it in and tied shut. Who knows how long it had been getting there. It was cold, the food was soggy and nasty. We had ordered some condiments (cocktail sauce and ranch dressing. We recieved half the cocktail sauce and none of the ranch. Instead they sent honey mustard. We just threw away $20.00. "If" you decide to order from this location. Order it once you arrive and get fresh food.
Are you people capable of sending out food that ISN’T very clearly burned to a crisp? Like, you SEE the food before you put it in the box… if it is solid as a rock, do you think people will be happy with that? Especially considering how overpriced you already are?
We get food from here maybe once every couple of years, unfortunately my experience wasn't great. Fresh fish but old chicken, completely left out my 2 family sides of green beans and no tartar sauce after I asked and then confirmed a second time, when receiving the bags that it was in there. Drive home 30 minutes and notice I am missing items. OK, it happens. I worked/ran a fast food restaurant for almost 20 years. I call to let them know and this poor kid that answers the phone, says sorry and asks if I want to drive back to pick them up. I of course say no because by the time I drive 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back, the rest of my food will be cold...after the most awkward 45 seconds of silence I ask for a manager in which he replies that he's the manager. So I ask if I am just supposed to eat the cost of the 2 family sides that they left out of my bags and the poor thing just stutters and has absolutely NO IDEA how to solve this problem. I suggest to him that he could take my name, receipt number and replace whatever is close to the dollar value of the 2 family sides because let's be honest here, I am not going to go and just order 2 family sides of green beans and he says to me " I don't even know how much 2 family sides cost so I'm not sure what to put down" The reality is, I probably won't be back but I spent $64.00, didn't receive all of my order and when I called to rectify the situation the manager that was on duty had absolutely no idea how to handle the situation. I feel bad for the kid who couldn't have been more than 18/19 managing on a Friday night with no customer service training, no proper process to follow when mistakes are made and the instances that he has probably had to endure with customes that are WAY harsher than I could have been, but wasn't. Instead of the establishment fixing the problem, I had to tell him how to fix it which probably resulted in my name written down on a piece of paper hanging on the wall (what he said he was doing) and a hassle explaining everything IF I go back. Do better please. Managers of all ages need to know how to problem solve and it starts with leadership.
At 3 PM I got here. People were waiting over an hour for fast food literally walking out asking for refunds. I can’t believe the owner/manager expected two people to be able to work all day long rush-hour everything higher more people crazy you guys are letting two old ladies try to run this whole place by themselves. You’re losing money left and right I’m out of here.
Service was horrible. Dining area was dirty and gross , drink fountain looks like it's never cleaned, sauce pumps look gross with old I n them
When I ordered they said they had to drop fish and it would be five minutes. I said no problem. 10 minutes later she says we are out of fish again. Give us five minutes. Mind you delivery drivers are in and out. Another 10 minutes go by. I went up and got a refund. Weatherford Texas LJS, DO BETTER!
I came and got food from here and drove home to find my fish had raw batter all over it. I had to drive all the way back and asked them to replace the bad pieces of fish and had to deal with the old lady’s attitude in the drive thru. She admitted they had a new cook and proceeded to get an attitude with me like I was the problem. I was polite when I could’ve been rude. It was a horrible experience I didn’t even want the food anymore.
Went to this location today to pick up a quick lunch went through the drive-through. The person that was working the drive-through was very rude and pushy. I placed my order went up paid. The lady was very rude. Snatched my card shove my card back at me then asked me to pull forward. I was compliant. Pulled forward. Waited 10 minutes. A young lady come out handed me a bag with a box in it that contained two pieces of fish. I ordered a meal. There was no utensils. There was no condiments. There was not even a napkin. I drove back around And asked for everything that was missing. I was treated like I did something wrong. Customer service is very very important. The employees act like I was a big inconvenience for them to have to correct their mistake. I will no longer recommend this location nor will I ever return as a paying customer..
Only good thing I can say was the food was at least hot and decent. Sat there for 20 minutes after ordering our food and people who ordered after us were getting their food before us. The workers were at least nice but absolutely horrible food service.
I hate making reviews like this and I really try to give the benefit of the doubt when it comes to this sort of thing because I also work in the food industry. But the service was AWFUL. I went inside and ordered through their self- service, and waited for an HOUR for my food. I'm understanding a little during a Sunday afternoon because it can get busy, but an hour is ridiculous. There were only 3 workers there and they were overwhelmed with how busy it got. I felt bad for the lady because she was literally running around everywhere. It resulted in her forgetting about my food for an hour. I always love LJS and their food, but they really need help on their service.
This was the worst service we have ever received here. We come at least once a month and order on the app. Our order has never been wrong and then tonight we ordered the 2 piece fish 3 chicken with 2 sides (FF & hush puppies) with a side of popcorn shrimp. We received the popcorn shrimp and 1 fish & 1 chicken with no hush puppies at all (supposed to be 8 in total) when I got home checked the order and it was wrong I called the store now answer, called again went to voicemail saying they were busy try again later, I called 8 times and had no answer to resolve the problem. I don't live close enough to just jump back in the car and head back to the store. I have put a survey in and I expect a refund and the manager or district manager to return my call to explain how there was not anyone in the drive thru and only one table inside being used and the crew failed to complete an order correctly or answer a phone to fix a problem they created.
Over 40 mins to get my mobile order, still wasn't right. They even cleared the screen so that it wouldn't look bad on their times. Our drink even had some in it. Get it together or close up shop. This is ridiculous
So I ordered a combo 10 plus popcorn shrimp. I waited almost 15 minutes while sitting in front of the store after going through drive through. I received the wrong cold food. Room temperature and actually cold to touch seafood and fish is very dangerous. The brunette girl there didn't care, much passed the situation off to the redheaded guy with a beard who was cooking. They were pulling all of the food that they were serving from 2 go boxes, sitting on the counter, not even under a heat lamp. This is very dangerous behavior and poses a health and food safety risk to the public.
Went inside to order take away. Customers are sitting around here waiting for their food literally for a half hour. One clerk working the front. This guy was slow, didn't get several orders correct including our order. Saw what I think was the owner in there making herself a sandwich, no hat no gloves. Food was extremely cold when I got it home. I reheated it in my oven. I'm call corporate. Even with a new store- this place sucks.
I went into this location and ordered food at the kiosk. Sat down, waited for approximately 20 minutes before I started to look around and realize most of the people in the lobby did not have food either. One woman went up saying she’d been waiting forty minutes for her food. Another gentleman went up and complained he’d been waiting 45 minutes. I finally had to leave. I didn’t ask the ladies at the copy yet for a refund because they already had people yelling at them and I didn’t have time to wait either. I reached out to corporate in an effort to get a refund on the $27 I spent and never received food and they never responded to me. Very frustrated. This was my only experience as I have not been to LJS in over 25 years.
