We just moved to Weatherford and this was our first time going to this restaurant. The food was amazing and our service was excellent. The only complaint was the food. It is definitely on the pricey side for the area but we enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.

I’ve been here about a dozen times since moving in the last 6 months. I love the food. The place is always clean. But today mom and I had the BEST service ever. Houston has best energy and such a great personality. Makes you feel welcome and is perfect toy attentive!! Go and enjoy their food and ask to sit in his section!!!

Excellent Mexican food. The chicken was tender and full of flavor (they must marinate the meat). The shrimp cooked perfectly (not too much or little). For fun, we had table side guacamole and bacon wrapped shrimp… highly recommend. Even the chips and salsa was great, not watered down with tons of flavor. If you’re anywhere near Weatherford TX… go have dinner here. Service was excellent … our waiter Tanner was spot on with everything. Thank you Tanner. Highly recommend this great restaraunt!

This place is such a breath of fresh air! The food is amazing and the workers are so kind and attentive. We’ve been having a hard time finding a place that has both great food and good workers and wow this place blows it out of the water! Will definitely be back whenever we’re in town

This is not your typical Tex Mex restaurant. They have several unique dishes. Nothing exotic, just unusual combinations. I forgot the name of what I had but it was two enchiladas with egg on top and avocado slices. Very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient.

We’ve come here so many times and I’ve just never taken the time to write about it! We love Rio Mambo! Friendly and attentive staff. One of the best spots in town for great Tex-Mex. We love the lively atmosphere! Wait staff always make sure we’re taken care of and have everything we need. Their salsa is my favorite! We always buy a 16oz. to enjoy later at home. Favorite dishes we’ve had - Diablo salad (full of flavor), Chipotle Glazed Pork Shanks (I know… it seems different, but it is an AMAZING dish), tacos hard and soft, and the enchiladas with cream sauce. If you haven’t been, definitely head over and check out Rio Mambo!

I have had dinner or lunch here several times. Their food is very good. They have a range of options. Some healthy choices too. They were great during COVID shut down and offered food to go and family meals. The place is always clean. Ive never had a bad experience with wait times or staff. Regardless of how busy they are, the staff is always very attentive. I like their margaritas but they are on the sweeter side. I usually cant finish them because they are too sweet. Definitely one of the best chain restaurants in Weatherford. Edit to add- never been with a party larger than 5.

I got the fajitas and eggs under the specialties on the last page. I got one chicken one steak with over easy eggs. I did cut them up since they were so messy (in a good way). I will say they were delicious. The only thing I wish I had asked for is shredded cheese. We had excellent service as always.

This place has a great atmosphere, my little one loved the lights. The steak Quaso Flembado with flour tortillas was delicious and the favorite amongst our family. Kids meals are decently priced graciously portioned and amazingly tasty. Had some food delivered. Got to me fast. Good portions. However the food wasn’t very flavorful, everything was kind of bland. My burrito was stuffed with ingredients and they didn’t skimp on the meat but the cut of fajita beef was mostly tough and fatty. Chips and queso was pretty good. Would like to try it again some time.l but at the moment I’d rather just go to rosas for half the price and get much more flavor and better beef.

The service in the atmosphere was great. However, the food wasn’t so great. They use a lot of grease on their foods (pictures included)and it’s more Tex Mex. I do not recommend getting any quesadillas because they use a lot of grease, which is not needed for this type of food. Needless to say, but I am, I ate two pieces and took the rest home for my dog. Daughter and I both ordered from lunch menu but were charged $1.00 for extra plate😩 Called “sharing”Then because neither of our dishes showed up with sour cream or jalapeños we asked for them. Received a spoonful of both and was charged $3.00. This is a Mexican restaurant !!!! And was not told of extra charges- it was just ADDED TO BILL!!!

I have been a long time fan of Rio. The past two visits have been disappointing. Tonight my dinner was literally refrigerator cold. Appetizer came half way through dinner and ended up taking it to go. Had to send first appetizer back because guacamole had turned back in spots (like it was old and and had turned). We have decided to skip Rio going forward. Sad to see that one of our favorite spots is struggling with quality and service.

We have been going to Rio Mambo for at least 11 years. We have enjoyed the food and atmosphere until now. The restaurant was bought by someone else. The food quality has gone down. The choices on the menu have reduced greatly and the music is horrible. Rio Mambos use to play Christian music on Sunday now it was Snoop Dog Christmas song and other music like it. It was loud. The atmosphere is not the same. I could deal with the music or the shorter menu but the food quality going down is just to much. Bye Bye Rio Mambos!

I am not one that would normally complain however, I do feel when a business is not up to par they should be aware. I had knee replacement surgery less than a week ago and could not stand to cook. My very precious friends wanted to do something special for us so they chose Rio Mambo to buy our lunch. We went and picked it up, got it home , opened the box and😒😶😯. Much disappointed. For the price that was paid for that meal we were disappointed and I was hurt that my friends spent the amount they did for the food for our lunch. The green beans were very over cooked , the mashed potatoes were so spicy we couldn't eat them. This was suppose to be a Thanksgiving dinner. No roll, no dressing, no gravy? I can just tell you it was poor at best. I would never recommend anyone to buy Thanksgiving dinner there, that's for sure.
